Bare Birthing Antenatal & Hypnobirthing Classes: what do users think?

Sarah H: As a first-time Mum, I was so glad I did the hypnobirthing course with Bare Birthing. I really feel as though my birth experience could have been very different if it wasn’t for Lucy’s wonderful classes and the incredible support network I gained from it. I learnt so much from Lucy, and the classes not only helped me prepare for birth (however which way it would go) but also helped me to feel supported during pregnancy too - I especially loved the relaxation part which provided some much needed self-care and helped me to bond with my baby! It was great that my partner could get involved in some of the sessions too and we both felt really informed. When the time came, I felt calm and confident that my body and my baby knew what to do! I made it through my labour with just a tens machine and the breathing techniques we learnt in class, and although I didn’t get to use the birthing pool at the hospital as I had originally wanted I still had a wonderful drug-free and intervention-free birth. I’m also really lucky to have met four amazing friends through Bare Birthing, and we regularly meet up now all our babies are here! Thank you Lucy for running such a great course :) I would recommend it to anyone preparing for birth.

Rosie Chilvers: I did a local hypnobirthing course in my 1st pregnancy 2 years ago, but really wanted to refresh my knowledge for my second pregnancy. I completed the 6 week group antenatal course with Bare Birthing and really can’t recommend Lucy enough- a lovely, supportive, clearly knowledgable & passionate teacher - not to mention the classes were such a nice relaxing way to end the week & I met some fab mums to be also. I felt so empowered and prepared once I’d finished this course. Lucy continued to be on hand for support and advice after the course ended when my pregnancy took a few unexpected turns which was so helpful and appreciated. I’m pleased to say I had an incredible birth experience and I’ve no doubt that the information, confidence & support I received from doing this course were paramount to that. I recommend hypnobirthing to everyone I know who is pregnant!

Lily Haake: Lucy’s support was absolutely invaluable for me through my birth experience and beyond. I started working with Lucy when I was about 33 weeks pregnant and found out that our baby wasn’t growing very well in the womb. It was a very emotional time, with two scans a week and the possibility of an emergency caesarean at any point. Lucy worked with me and my partner to guide us through what to expect in any scenario, helping us to visualise the event so we would feel confident and prepared. We had regular video chats and constant messages where she would answer my questions and offer much needed cheerleading and positivity. Ultimately we went to the birth feeling optimistic and informed. I ended up having an induction that did result in an emergency caesarean and I know that I couldn’t have stayed so calm through the experience without all of the preparation we’d done. Postnatally she’s also been a great help - as a first time mum I can 100% recommend working with her if you want to learn it all and also have the best friend and cheerleader to guide you through your birth.
Chloe Gerard: Lucy’s class has been such a positive experience! We’ve looked forward to every class for a little positive birthing pick-me-up. We’ve learnt so much useful information; everything from breathing techniques and baby yoga poses to the actual birth and post-birth process. We can’t wait to meet our baby, it has made us a lot more confident and positive about birth. I highly recommend it to any soon-to-be parents. Thank you Lucy!

Sarah Gandee: Me and my partner attended Lucy's course in late 2021. It was really informative and Lucy was a fab teacher, getting the info across in an accessible, inclusive and fun way. I felt very prepared ahead of the birth and was able to use the information and techniques when faced with the dilemma to induce or not. Although I didn't get the birth I had hoped for due to various factors, it was still a positive experience as I was informed and able to make the choices I felt were right at the time. I've made great friends from our group who have been a lifeline during this first year postpartum. Having also done NCT, Bare Birthing left me feeling more confident around labour as it was much more in depth. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for antenatal classes.
Lucy Critchlow: My partner and I really enjoyed Lucy's Bare Birthing course. We revised a lot from our first birth but also learnt a lot of new facts and tips which helped us prepare for labour! Most of all, Lucy's enthusiasm for a home birth gave us the confidence to go for it. This was definitely the best decision for us and we were able to welcome baby Piers into the world from the comfort of our own home. He was born in the birthing pool. I'm sure the warm waters helped reduce pain and avoid any tearing despite him being a big baby. The midwives commented how calm we were and how well the birth went. Thank you!

Yoga at the Reach: what do users think?

Sarah K: I’ve been attending pregnancy yoga and highly recommend. The gentle physical side of the class has helped with my pregnancy aches and pains. The other side has been meeting a group of women in the same position and having that support that makes you feel less alone at a time when things are changing and can few very weird and lonely. Nicola is kind, patient and knowledgeable

Paul Evans: I have had the pleasure of practicing at the Reach in 2022. It is a friendly studio and the support and mentoring provided by Nicola is second to none. I particularly enjoy the Ashtanga classes and especially the Mysore classes. I look forward to being back in 2023.

Kerry Mellor: A lovely inviting, well equipped studio. The classes are well led with excellent quality teaching. The restorative and yin classes a real treat🙂

Louise Rach: Sheffield Knackered Mums Club Feel utterly relaxed and revived after attending the knackered mums club. It was such a lovely experience, very friendly leaders who made me feel comfortable. It was a really nice mix of different practices and the reiki was a great addition. I would thoroughly recommended to any mum. Thank you.

Sophia Kingan: I have done ashtanga yoga with Nicola for years and always enjoyed it and have seen myself develop and progress with her input. More recently my husband and I did a birth rehearsal class at her lovely studio (which felt very safe and clean during this covid situation) and was enjoyable, informative, relaxing and left me and my husband feeling prepared for the birth of our baby coming up. Thanks Nicola!

MOGA Method of Yoga for All: Nicola is a truly excellent yoga teacher and very warming person. This studio has several styles and any one looking to get into yoga or develop will benefit from exploring yoga with Nicola and her colleagues.
Laura Lindahl: A real range of classes and teachers. Such a special, warm environment, small class sizes and all the teachers make an effort to know your name. I love it!
Jess M: Attended a retreat with ashtanga and restorative yoga classes, really well taught, I learnt a lot and it has really helped improve my technique in poses
Rebecca Joselyn: I met Nicola around 8 years ago she’s always been a fantastic teacher, she prepared me for my training in India. After a 6 year break from my practice I’m now back and wondering why I ever left. I can highly recommend ‘Yoga at the Reach’. Nicola’s extensive knowledge of Ashtanga Yoga is first class.
Emily Hounslow: If I could give more than 5 stars I would :)Nicola is far and away the best yoga teacher I've ever found, it's a pleasure to learn from her. She is friendly, knowledgeable and knows exactly how to help each student, and will make you feel part of the little community there, as she really cares about her students. The studio is also a great space, really relaxing with plenty of space to move in. As well as yoga, the studio has workshops, retreats and gong bath sessions, so you get the chance to experience and build on more than the basic yoga practice. As I do ashtanga as my preferred yoga practice, I'm so glad to have found a place that provides the type of classes that suit me best.

Lucy Critchlow: I've loved going to Nicola's postnatal yoga classes at the Reach, for my first child 5 years ago and again now!The post natal level one was very nurturing and gentle, perfect for the first stages of recovery after birth. Then I enjoyed level two core revitalisation which focuses on recovering the core.I've now also done two rounds of mamas and babas back to yoga. This works out the whole body and is also great for aches and pains relating to bringing up babies! The babies have had a great time socialising with each other during yoga and are mesmerised by nicola too. It's an all round winner! It's also been so nice to meet other mums and we've made some fabulous friends from going to these lessons.Thank you Nicola! X

James Hayes: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI've been a student of Nicola's for 2 years now and absolutely love her approach and her classes. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in yoga whether just starting out or experienced.
lisa watson: I discovered Yoga at the Reach after searching for a pregnancy yoga class, I've since had two babies, completed pre/postnatal/baby massage and now continue with Nicolas Ashtanga yoga classes twice a week. I love Nicolas attention to detail and thorough instruction throughout the class. It's also a great workout for mind and body.
Joanne Gillan: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAbsolutely incredible Yoga studio with dedicated and knowledgeable teachers. Ashtanga classes with Nichola are the best I've ever come across. Love this studio.
Angelina Perrett: Really supportive space to learn and extend your yoga practice . Discovered my love of ashtanga by going to the beginners class. Over the years I have gone to a variety of classes and learnt how my body can extend itself. Each class is designed to cater for individual variation in experience and skill - so each class can be adapted to cater for your current skills.I am a yogi that doesn’t take myself too seriously and yoga at the reach has helped me maintain my sense of humour about myself as well as helping me reach the next level of experience I needed.
Nazmy Villarroel: Beautiful shala with wonderful professionals. What a blessing to have found this yoga community in Sheffield.

Mumma Bump Fit - Post Natal Exercise & Nutrition: what do users think?
Anna Moore: Have been going to mumma bump fit for a year and I am so glad I found these classes as it’s made me enjoy my maternity leave so much more than the first time around :) was so nice to go to these classes every day and I feel so much fitter than I have ever been. George is friendly, kind and knowledgable and it was a lovely environment for my children as they had other children to play with and toys. I am sad to be leaving and going back to work but I hope other mums read this and decide to go along as it’s so worth it!
Maggie Vickers: Great class for any new or expectant mum. George is a very good trainer and knows his pre and postnatal stuff - the exercises are all very well thought out and appropriate for pregnant/postpartum bodies. Great way to get back to fitness and regain the confidence to exercise in a safe way. Highly recommend!
Kate Gridley: I’m not usually a fan of group exercise but this group is really friendly and the exercises are specifically targeted towards strengthening those bits of your body that are knackered after having (in my case two) babies. I would definitely recommend giving it a go!
Hannah Jackson: Would highly recommend George’s classes to anyone who is pregnant or a new mum. Fantastic way to grab some time doing something for you to improve your physical and mental health. George specialises in this type of fitness so knows exactly what you should be doing and is very helpful if you want any further advice on anything. Lovely to be able to bring your baby too! Really friendly and supportive classes - I love going!
Rosie McManus: Loved going to these exercise classes with George. You can take your baby with you which is so helpful. George is really well informed about antenatal and postnatal issues so you can exercise safely and effectively!
Emily Taaffe: George is fantastic. Best exercise class I've ever done.
Jess Scott-Lewis: Great friendly personal trainer - quite intense circuit workout great for regaining strength postnatally
Debbie Carlisle: I’m so glad I joined Mumma Bump Fit - after just a couple of months I’m fitter than I’ve been in years and back to my pre-pregnancy clothes too! It’s such a friendly group of mums and George really knows his post natal stuff! And being able to bring your baby is the icing on the cake - I highly recommend it to mums looking to regain (or just gain) their fitness!
Debbie Ferguson: I really love this! It's like having a personal trainer but loads more fun. George is great. He lets you know exactly where you're going wrong and how to get the most out of the exercises for your post-baby body, so you're always building your strength up. Plus there are loads of like-minded women around you for moral support! I would never have dreamed of picking up weights before I started MBF and now I feel confident about how to use them properly!
Elisabeth Briggs: Knowledgable, friendly and fun post-natal work out. I’ve gained real strength and power, and the babies are happy to be coming along!
Miriam Brown: These classes are so great. I'm back at full fitness, and shedding my baby weight so quickly. The workouts are such a boost. It's so easy - bringing my baby along to watch a group of women work out is much easier than I thought it would be. They just sit and watch in bemusement / amusement. George is incredibly knowledgeable, the exercise is thorough and completely safe for post-partum bodies, repairing certain physical issues in a safe and sustainable way.
Sarah Lonnia: I can’t recommend these classes enough. The classes are small and friendly with space for baby to sit/ lay. George is a fantastic trainer who is very knowledgeable and friendly, he takes time to encourage everyone and check techniques during exercises. Each class is different and all the exercises are tailored for different abilities. The classes give you a fantastic workout with a friendly group of people all in the same situation. Being able to take my little one along means I can attend on a regular basis and have no excuses to skip a session. George is also great at helping to console the little ones or showing you ways of incorporating ‭them into your exercises. I am so pleased I signed up to these classes it has really helped me build my core strength and confidence.
Teresa Braybrook: I love this class with George. I feel so much better about myself and it’s really improved my stomach muscles! I would definitely recommend to any new Mummy’s or Mummy to be’s!!
Sarah Baird: I've only been going a few weeks but I love these classes. It's different every time and I always leave feeling great. It's so good that you can take your baby with you, and if they cry, a lot of the exercises can be altered so you can hold them too....or George will hold them for you! All the other mum's are lovely too, so as well as doing exercise you can also squeeze in a quick chinwag. I was contemplating going to the gym instead but I'm so glad I signed up to these classes instead. George is great and will take time with each person in the class to make sure you're doing each exercise right and achieving what you want. Highly recommend to anyone even if you've never set foot in a gym before!
Mai Mai Lam: So glad I signed up to this - leaving my baby in a crèche at a gym isn’t an option right now and keeps me fit and her happy - win win! George spends time explaining things well, checks you’re doing everything right and classes are fun, effective and easy to book via the system - it’s helped me be confident I’m not doing more harm than good 👍🙌 also - if your baby needs picking up you can, can carry on with George’s help or he will hold them forYou!!
Karina Lax: Going to George’s classes is the best of both worlds - the knowledge and attention of a brilliant personal trainer and the motivation of group exercise with people in the same boat. Plus being able to bring my little one means it’s always possible to get there. I’m stronger jan I’ve been for ages and I’ve lost 12 pounds. I’ve lost 12 pounds wooh!!!!
Dani Winter née Portaluri: Very personalised work out with a professional who is able to adapt the exercises to support or stretch clients wantng to get back to fitness after giving birth. Has been great being able to bring my daughter and George has been great with her.
Natalie Wren: George's sessions have been brilliant fun to do and also I have found them to have really improved my core strength and overall strength also. George provides a relaxed environment in which to work out and doesn't seem phased if the babies are crying and carries them round with ease, calming my little one instantly when needed. The sessions are hard but tailored precisely to what post natal mums need. George is always on hand to correct and advise on the exercises in order for me to get the most out of the session and feel confident to try some exercises at home too.Overall it has been fun and rewarding to do his sessions and I feel I am slowly getting control over my body again and getting to a place where I am happy with my body and know of ways to maintain things for the future.
Hannah Chamberlain: Love classes, Totally against exercise till joining in George's classes. Over weight mum who feels comfortable no exercise impossible. Perfect knowing I can take my daughter with me and she's happy watching
Amy Dale: I can highly recommend the post natal classes with George. The sessions are 45 minutes long and offer a full body workout - you certainly work up a sweat! Great to take baby with you too. I'm feeling stronger and more toned. Thank you George!
Sarah Barnes: George at Contour Fitness Mumma Bump Fit is excellent. I cannot rate or recommend his service highly enough for women who have had a baby. The exercise sessions and class size are small so you get amazing support and advice throughout. My core strength, stamina and confidence have dramatically improved since starting my membership and I cannot thank George enough. So glad I found this service. Ladies... sign up.. seriously, you won't regret it.

Kate Campbell Fitness: what do users think?
Maisie Langley: Kate Campbell is such a friendly gym! The trainers who work there are so approachable and they have created a lovely little community!
Olga Amariutei: I looked far and wide for someone that has the skill, experience and expertise to support me get back to exercising after my twin pregnancy. I am incredibly thankful for finding Kate and her team. If you are a new mother and you want to feel strong and fit (again) all you need to do is give Kate a ring, show up and trust the process, you are in good hands.
Margaret Scott-Walker: A small friendly gym that welcomes people of all ages and abilities.Excellent staff that offer encouragement and support.
Katie Civil: Been working with kate for my work experience and it’s been such an amazing experience. She’s such an amazing trainer and wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else. Everyone is so welcoming.100% recommend. As Kate Campbell says herself it is “Sheffields SMALL gym with a BIG heart.”❤️
Adarshini Burrun: Been to quite a few gyms and Kate Campbell Fitness is by far the best, it puts the others to shame really. It's such a welcoming environment with staff being super friendly and helpful, I could ask questions on how to do certain exercises and they would talk me through it! The classes are also motivating and fun. As the gym has been such a great environment, it's really helped me to fall in love with my fitness again.
Rachael Tunnard: Kate and the team are absolutely fantastic and the gym itself is great. I did the antenatal and skills for birth sessions from 13 weeks until 40 weeks. I felt fit and confident going into labour and motherhood having learned so much from Kate. I can’t wait to join the postnatal classes!I can’t recommend Kate and the team enough!
Caroline Slade: Kate and her team are a fantastic resource for mums in Sheffield! I highly recommend the pregnancy fitness classes. I've learnt loads about pregnancy and birth, and it's helped me gain more confidence in my body. I'm looking forward to joining the postnatal group with some of my new mum friends, too!
Holly Ormrod-Stebbings: I came to Kate Campbell initially for the postnatal fitness course and then moved onto the Focus and Shred programme. It was a fantastic way to get back into fitness after having my children and I felt such a transformation in my body and mindset, being supported by Kate and her wonderful team. They’re so knowledgable about both fitness and nutrition as well as really understanding my goals, challenges and balancing family life.I’ve now been a member for over 2 years and have been attending weekly personal training sessions with Dom and Kate, as I’ve been working on my overall health, fitness and strength. I can’t believe how heavy some of the weights I can lift now are, and the fact I’ve been able to do this and stay motivated is down to the super friendly, knowledgable and encouraging team at KCF.
Ann Evans: Having lost the facilities of another smaller, but similar gym because of COVID lock down, it was a relief to realise that Kate Campbell was able to offer what I, and a number of others, were searching for, using video links while communal activity was not possible. And what they didn't already have in place was soon added to their schedules. Positive, skilled, friendly, supportive attitude from the start, and now continuing with newly appointed staff. All the skills needed to make a visit to the gym a satisfying, enjoyable experience.
Finn Smith-Williams: For about 7 months I have been attending Kate Campbell and from my experience, I've really enjoyed it. It's been a great place to start working out as everyone on the team is so welcoming..
Gillian Nottingham: I have been a member here for over a year and thoroughly enjoy the different classes despite never being a typically sporty person. Everyone is welcomed to this very friendly gym and it is a much more pleasant and personal experience than a larger more corporate place. I feel fitter, stronger and encouraged by all the staff. Thank you!
Deborah Newman: I underwent a full hysterectomy at the start of July this year . I went from being a regular Bootcamper to zero within a week . I was desperate to regain my fitness and tone but was genuinely frightened of harming myself and was in pain and swollen . I contacted Kate Campbell gym on the off chance they could help knowing they worked with new mums . I got a call back immediately from Shannon. Shannon was incredible - she supported me in the first 3-5 weeks post surgery with lymphatic drainage massage which helped manage the swelling , breathing exercises which helped with anxiety and sleep and taught me how to do my pelvic floor exercises properly . I gradually gained confidence under her guidance and worked with her to devise a programme to build strength tone and most importantly my confidence exercising . I also joined her Pilates classes. So it’s now almost November , I’m strong, feel well and have returned to Bootcamp . I can’t recommend Shannon and this gym more and for anyone post operative it’s a must !
Matthew: I've been going here for a good number of weeks now, seeing Dom as my personal trainer, he's knowledgeable, enthusiastic and really good for helping to give me confidence in the strength training we're doing. I'd highly recommend him and highly recommend this gym if you want a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with a bit more of a personal touch, that's hard to come by at the larger gyms around the city.
Ethan Basford: Kate Campbell Fitness provides an incredibly supportive and welcoming environment. It’s an oasis away from the intimidating nature of most gym chains. I train with Dom Hall who is who brilliant at what he does. After working with him I’ve become more confident in my abilities and no longer feel nervous or unsure when working out. He built me a great workout plan and helps massively with my nutrition to ensure the best results while at Kate Campbell Fitness. An all around fantastic gym with an amazing group of people running it. 100% recommended!
Ryan Jakeman: The best gym I've ever been too all the staff are so welcoming, the classes are better than your main stream gyms, and the facility's are spot on!I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Rebecca Ainley: Attending the mums fit course for 6 weeks with Kate and Shannon enabled and empowered me to begin my new exercise journey postnatally.Following the birth of my second child I became anxious about performing any exercise too soon and ultimately didn't want to cause any physical, chronic damage. Kate and Shannon showed me the key movements and exercises to really build the fundamental muscles back in order for me to get up and running again (literally). In turn, making me confident to get back to the exercises I enjoy. I can't thank them enough and would really recommend the classes to any pre or postnatal woman :-)
Laura K: I attended the postnatal keep mums fit foundation course. Following a very difficult birth, the course has given me back confidence in my body and knowledge in how to look after myself and keep building my fitness. Kate and her team are knowledgeable and take every care in providing the safest return to fitness for each woman following giving birth. Thank you so much!
AMY CUNLIFFE: I couldn’t have wished to have met a better group of people to work with ! During my time on placement at Kate Campbell Fitness they supported me so much and have gave me life changing experience. Everyone is so down to Earth and give time and effort into each and every one of their clients. Thank you so much for this opportunity ❤️
Jennifer Neal: Kates antenatal fitness class is wonderful, I felt in safe hands, strong and well prepared mentally and physically for my baby’s arrival. She is an expert in midwifery and fitness, and creates a lovely support network through her classes. Thankyou Kate xxx
Deborah Turner: Small friendly gym, great trainers gave me a personalised routine and diet support. This was my first experience of a gym and personal trainer, I was nervous going in but as soon as I stepped through the door I was greater with friendly smiles, I didn't feel out of place. They have a good range of equipment and my induction and program planning was meticulous. I can highly recommend.
Fran McVeigh: I definitely would recommend Kate’s pregnancy classes. It’s a great mix of exercise, pregnancy/labour tips and chat! The group was really supportive and Kate offered some great advice for my own pregnancy journey.

BabyBeats®️ & Mindful Movers®️ Sheffield North - Mother and Baby Classes & Natal Physiotherapy: what do users think?
Gemma Randall: Beki is fantastic. She not only assesses and successfully treated my shoulder and neck, she also makes sure to check out your general physical and mental health. A really friendly and smiley person.I'd definitely recommend her to anyone needing to find a physiotherapist.(Her post-natal pilates classes are fab too!).
Louisa Duck: We’ve been attending Baby Beats since LO was 10 weeks old and I recommend the class to everyone. Beki creates such a warm atmosphere and is incredibly welcoming. It’s a mixture of gentle stretches and singing/sensory. We’ve really enjoyed it!
Katie White: I had a Natal assessment with Rebekah and it was great. She was thorough, explained her assessment and subsequent treatment plan in a very helpful way. I felt listened to, understood and cared for. I would definitely recommend a natal assessment to new mums. Thank you so much.
Lucy Marotta: We have been going to baby beats since my daughter was 10 weeks old and it’s such a unique class in that it’s super beneficial for both baby’s development but also post-natal recovery. We love coming to sessions 7 months on! Beki is such a knowledgeable and passionate instructor.I have also had a natal physio check with Beki that I found so enlightening as to how my body is recovering post-pregnancy and what I can do to aid it. Would 100% recommend both services Beki offers :)
Bex Mack: Absolutely love this group! It’s great for both Mum and baby with a mixture of stretches for me and sensory and massage for baby. Beki is really friendly and so helpful if you are struggling with anything, adapting the stretches to where you are postpartum and also if baby needs feeding during the group 😊
Kimberley Jackson: Absolutely brilliant class for both mum and baby. Bits of light exercise for you and lots of sensory/baby massage for baby. Very chilled too so whatever your baby needs from you (feed/nappy/cuddle) you can just do as and when. Beki is super lovely and we love going each week!
Dani W: Wonderful class. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed it and I would highly recommend. Felt very covid secure and Beki is great.
Robyn Bowler: Babybeats is by far one of the best baby classes I've been too (and this is second baby so I've been to a lot!). Time to work on yourself and time to focus on your little one are perfectly combined so I leave the class feeling a little bit more me and like I've been strengthening the bond with my little boy. Can't recommend it enough!
Laura John: Positive:Quality,ValueA brilliant class with a great mixture of exercise for mum and sensory/massage for baby. The environment is very relaxing and mums feel comfortable working the class around their baby's needs. Highly recommended for any new mums and their little ones!
Amy Swales: We’ve been attending Beki’s class since our baby was 7 weeks old, he’s now 6 months and we still love it! The class offers a variety of sensory toys and songs for baby, and postnatal exercises for mum, whilst baby is occupied by bubbles and lights! I love how cosy the class feels, Beki knows everyone by name and she loves to see our babies develop week by week, we can all tell that just by how interested she is!Huge recommendation from us!
Kirsty Coggin: I was recommended this class by a friend and I’m so glad I signed up. We really enjoy it and Beki is so knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a great mixture of exercise, Pilates, baby sensory and massage in a relaxed, welcoming but also ‘covid secure’ environment. We’ve enjoyed it so much we signed up for another term and look forward to it every week.
J Deighton: We started BabyBeats when my son was only 3 months old however only got to go to one session before we were in lockdown again. My son enjoyed the first session so much that we decided to continue the sessions on zoom. The online session continued to be just as good but we missed the interaction with other mums. Now that restrictions have lifted more, we were so happy to continue our sessions face to face. The class is so relax and friendly. It is not too busy and I felt safe to have my baby in that environment. It is not too long and a great balance of baby yoga and baby massage. Rebekah is a great teacher and so professional.Would definitely recommend it to other mums. So sad that we have to leave now my son is too old for it.Thank you so much for helping me share some special moments with my son and increase our bond.
Sarah Ogden: Babybeats is definitely our favourite class. Beki is lovely & so welcoming & accommodating of everyone. We're so glad lockdown restrictions started easing & the sessions could go ahead & Beki has made sure all Mummies & Babies are safe, secure & all guidelines are followed. Such a great varied class, especially for younger babies, there's definitely more for the Mum's than some other classes but the babies would never know that! My little boy had the absolute time of his life at the first session & I was so glad we'd signed up. Can't wait for next term!
Jade Holmes: I only started these classes recently, but straight away it was a friendly atmosphere, Beki is so Lovely, she explains everything well & gives alternatives if your baby has other ideas 😂 it's a lovely mixture of yoga/sensory/massage aswell. My son likes the class so we've booked onto the next term & can't wait 😊 I just wish we could have joined sooner! Xx
Katie Warburton: Babybeats was my absolutely favourite baby group of the week. It’s the perfect balance of Pilates and yoga for mummy and massage and sensory for baby. Beki is a brilliant instructor, has a wealth of knowledge and being a mummy herself, she’s so supportive to new parents. I absolutely recommend this group and would join again if there’s a baby number 2.
Laura Fillingham: We loved Baby Beats with Beki! She is so knowledgeable and friendly. The class is everything you could want from a baby class rolled into one. I'm looking forward to hopefully joining in with my new baby on the next term 🤞
Gemma Eden: BabyBeats became our own little community that saved me from the loneliness of the first couple of months of maternity leave. From the first class we attended, Beki made Benji and I feel so welcome and the activities were perfect for both of us - everything had been thought of. The other mums and babies we met became firm friends and even when lockdown began and classes went online, this sense of community has long continued! I just wish we could have continued attending group, the yoga and Pilates based movements for me, and massage and sensory play for Benji were a weekly treat! If I had another baby, I’d be booking like a shot!

Power Of Yoga: what do users think?
Anita: I have recently completed two six week courses of the beginners class. I found the delivery of tuition pitched at the right level to support students new to yoga. Louise was patient and encouraging and made time for everyone in the class. As I enjoyed the beginners so much I enrolled for a second time. Who knew how flexible my unbending body had become in just six weeks? What a bonus!
Catherine Reynolds: Beginners course March 2022What a fabulous calming space. The moment I walked in I could feel myself relaxing. Louise was very accommodating offering different levels of each movement depending on each persons ability. Just an hour to connect and care for me made so much difference to my well-being. Loved it so much I’ve signed up for more.😍
Samantha Taylor: Beautiful venue and lovely yoga experience. Highly recommend
Rachael Black: I started coming to Power of Yoga after my son was born. I was nervous and lacked confidence that I would be able to keep up. I loved it from the first lesson. The teachers worked at my level and made sure that I could join in at a pace that suited me. I love the range of classes and teachers that are available from the more relaxing, breath-based sessions to the challenging Power Yoga. I have now been coming to Power of Yoga for over 5 years and hope to continue for many more! I love the space; it feels tranquil and a perfect place to relax and switch off from outside distractions. If anyone is nervous about trying yoga, I would urge them to give it a go, Louise and teachers will help them find the right class for their level and ensure they are supported. When I had back problems a few years ago I went right back to basics with the beginner session while my back healed. I was supported to practice safely and at an appropriate level.I cannot wait for Power of Yoga to open again; I have really missed it!
Denise In UK: Power of Yoga has helped me change my life! Having sustained a knee injury (not yoga related) and now recovering from surgery, the classes and instructors are a key part of my recovery both in body and mind. The moment I walked into the beautiful studio for the first time I felt a sense calm and serenity, with a wonderful scent of essential oils. As a beginner, the instructors were amazing and helpful, gently guiding me into good form and posture without pressure or intimidation. I never felt self-conscious or like I had to ‘keep up’, everyone is so kind! I also have fun private 1:1 sessions with Louise to help me learn simple changes and tweaks to get more during classes and protect my knee. And... I love their workshops which are insightful and varied to help grow my inner peace and learn how amazing my body is. I honestly can’t say enough about Power of Yoga and highly recommend for beginners to yoga wondering what it’s all about - you’ll be surprised, I was! Give it a go, your body and mind will love you for it!
Irma Kennedy: I started at Power of Yoga two years ago and have never looked back. The passion and commitment of the teachers is second to none. The small classes allows for individual attention ensuring you learn the poses well. The teachers encourage you to develop but at a pace you are comfortable with and vary the lessons to keep them interested. The variety of classes available for people at different levels, giving the individual a choice is also a key point. The ambience of the room is so relaxing, well set out and the decor makes the whole lesson a great experience. Believe me, there is no comparison with yoga classes at the large gyms which I found to be so impersonal and unhelpful to the individual with the cold ambience and such large numbers, not different classes for people at different levels. In addition the equipment and cleanliness all round is to a very high standard. Mats are cleaned after each lesson or you can bring your own if you wish. The classes help me to relax, improve my insomnia and focus on the here and now.I really can't recommend these classes enough. I just love, love love them!
Claire B: Having tried yoga classes before in school gyms / church halls etc The yoga studio in Greenhill is really a step up! A well equipped, clean relaxing studio and supportive and knowledgable teachers with a wide range of classes, times and teaching styles.
Lucy Booth: A wonderful place with all types of wonderful people. You feel welcome from when you step in the door.I came as a complete beginner & was impressed by the level of teaching for the encouragement given. A few years later my sciatica of 10 years is all but gone, & I cherish my time there each week.Definitely the place to go if you are wanting to give Yoga a try.
Kim Staves: As its a good few years since I had yoga sessions here at Power of Yoga, I can review of how the sessions were etc at that time. I felt more energised after the sessions the tutor was very friendly and very supportive. Also it was run in a very professional way. I wouldn't hesitate to go back but life has got in the way a bit
Linda Robinson: I've been attending this yoga studio for several months now. Being a more mature lady I firstly attended Louise's over 60's class and she suggested I could do more and so have been attending Leilla's class. Since starting I am feeling stronger and getting more supple and the relaxation at the end is the icing on the cake. They know their stuff!
Janet Dyson: Lovely yoga studio, small friendly classes and knowledgeable teachers. Highly recommend it!
sumayer sanghera: I have been coming here for a year following a bout of illness and stress. The yoga has helped me relax and become flexible. Could not recommend it enough.Absolutely brilliant. The teachers are great and classes are smallsmall
Helen Lewin: My yoga class is one of the highlights of my week. I've been attending Power of Yoga for about 2 years and I'm calmer and stronger than I've ever been. The teachers are great and the studio is lovely.
Ann-Marie Mulvey: I've been attending yoga classes here for over a year, it's a really beautiful yoga studio with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The teachers are great and I look forward to going to class every Monday night to ease me into the week! Also really like how flexible they are if I can't make my usual class they will try and organise another class for me to attend so I don't miss out.
Maureen Power: What a wonderful experience in the over 60s class. Very relaxing and enjoyable with lovely people .
Emma Marks: Love my weekly yoga sessions at power of yoga. Relaxation for the body and mind in a beautiful purpose built yoga studio which perfectly compliments the personalised and dynamic teaching.
