The University of Sheffield: what do users think?

Debarati bhattacharya: Simply Amazing !! English world charm.Great gardens, labs and food 😍 Ppl are quite warm and friendly...Highly recommend 👌

Robert Payne: Great university, next door to a wonderful park & museum. Although the University has improved its biodiversity and green space, the Arts Tower car park is an atrocious blight on the campus and desperately needs renovation into a welcoming green space.

Peter Marosan: It seems a great university, with excellent student union, some tradition and modern building. The connection to the nature (Peak District is in the neighborhood), industrial partners and local community create a vibrant place.

Ogo Maduewesi: I am here on Commonwealth Professional Fellowship at the Clinical Psychology department and simply loving it. I already asked can I please study here?😀 That open elevator at The Art house really fascinated me😀... Just trying to get another snickers for the walks around. A beautiful students environment...I see how my days continues beautifully here...
Naoki Sato: Beautiful place!
Jyothi M: Hi Friends, kindly confirm do they have placement facility for Indian candidates after their MS post graduation.
Nehir Başara: I heard some bad things, I did not have a pleaseant experience.
Patricia Batty: Didn't hate it I have never been there
Evin Aycicek: Like many British universities, they view international students as nothing more than chickens that lay golden eggs. They eagerly accept our money, but when it comes to providing their promises, they fall short. In 2015, I stayed just one day in the Ranmoor dormitory and was promised a refund if I wasn't satisfied within 14 days. But when I expressed my dissatisfaction, they refused to return my £800. It was a blatant disregard for my rights as a student, and it left me feeling angry and betrayed. It's not enough for these institutions to simply take our money; they need to be held accountable for their actions and provide the level of service that they promised on their website.
CM: It's the 7th week and I haven't saw my professor for one of my modules. Also not even one single piece of self-learning material was uploaded by him and no one in the uni seems interested in solving this issue. Meanwhile the students were told to complete a group work without receiving any instructions from the missing professor.Imagining paying £3500 for a module and that's what you got
Sandra Simpson: Am currently working there has night cleaner it's great 👍 and lovely 🙂 people 😊💖💖
ikechukwu opara: Conducive environment for study with top notch learning facilities and lecturers who go extra mile to impact knowledge and capacity to the students.A good international mix up of students . Unity in diversity in practice.Quality Education assured.
Beauchamp Dissident: International Relations Teaching Associate Philip Mayne is negligent beyond belief and someone who was raised poorly. Funnily enough a bully and a r4cist. Otherwise a nice university
Leung Zoe: Think twice before you choose this uni. Their teachers are good, most of them paid a lot of effort in preparing the lectures. However, in the Master Taught Program, they intake LOTS OF STUDENTS who CAN BEARLY SPEAK and WRITE ENGLISH. Don't ask me how can it happen but it has seriously affect the quality of the class and the learning atmosphere.
Tim Foulstone: The University has become a hostile environment to people of certain religions and I no longer think that it agrees with freedom of religion.
Mo Mo: Is there anybody know why law university its off for 5 weeks please
James Smith: Avoid studying engineering here, the way they treat you is despicable. It's impossible to get hold of a student handbook before being a student. You effectively have to sign a blank piece of paper and hope for the best. This allows them to make up the rules up as they go along. The head of departments are corrupt. Do you have money and come from 'the right schools'? You'll get uncapped 3rd and 4th attempts at exams. If you come from a poor background they'll make things as hard as possible, because 'you were never going to succeed anyway'. Did they offer you a scholarship? Good luck getting them to pay out on it. They'll bend over backwards to make a good impression on opendays but don't be fooled, as soon as you start your course everything changes. You'll get to experience your timetable changing with a couple of hours notice. Remember all those student licences they promise you on open days, you only get them if the year group revolts. Tour guides on open days are paid to be there, those that critise the course are never offered these roles.
Davis George: Ranked uni. Well occupied one.
John Merritt: It's an interesting and diverse university with lots going on
vendetta V: students should really participate / pay attention to the running of Students Union so that it can voice your opinion on school policy or serious politics issueDont let certain committees’ personal opinions go over yours
uzochi bright: Read through my ordered prospectus.... excellent place to learn
Tahir Hussain: Very good
Gareth Tidmarsh: Great buildings, came for the architecture, but Sheffield university has a great name
shoun D (Shoun): One of the best in uk
