Armada Training Sheffield: what do users think?

Dave Geary: Really great course, tutor really nice and very knowledgable very good training facility.

Chris Morris: Attended the online Premiere Pro Intro and Advance courses - great content and an easy online access set up from Armada with great communication. The instructor Mark Gatter gave the courses at a really good pace so you felt you did get a lot out of it. He was also super helpful in returning to points you may have missed. Highly recommended.

Samantha Lee: Excellent course, and facilities at the Electric Works in Sheffield. Chris the trainer was very knowledgeable about Adobe Premiere Pro and really friendly. The pace was just right, allowing those of us with more experience of Creative Cloud and those with less to get on well with the software. Really looking forward to returning for the advanced course in March.

Ian Cass: A really good course for beginners and my tutor Nebille was really good in his approach and patience, as I really was a new user.

Harry Heathfield: Attended the 2 day Adobe Illustrator course taught by Mark, his teaching was very thorough and he clearly had a lot of knowledge to apply to his teaching. The facilities at the Sheffield site are very modern, clean and fresh with the usual tea and coffee facilities. I would recommend Armada and use them again for future courses.

Matt Whaley: Gary is a fantastic Adobe trainer, who I would highly recommend. His knowledge of all Adobe products is second to none… Seriously, he knows about 5 different short cuts for everything ;-) I have now completed 4 of his training courses (including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and each one of them has been well structured, easy to follow and mind blowing at the same time, showing me things I didn’t think were even possible! Thanks to Gary I now have a lot more confidence in my abilities and I’ve got a much clearer understanding of how to move my design skills forward.

Angela James: Gary is an excellent tutor and his knowledge of Adobe products is second to none. I would highly recommend his services.

WILL BARCLAY: Fantastic service from initial brief to project completion, I would have no hesitation in using Artisan Bytes for ALL future projects and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to use their services. VERY VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER
David Cleland: Whilst many of us have the ability to visualise and imagine, few of us are able to bring life and form to the ideas in our heads so that others can see them, touch them, experience and enjoy them.As a graphic designer, Gary has that seemingly innate ability to create and use design to communicate and share ideas, information, and feelings. This, coupled with his attention to detail, comes across in his training. You'll find it in the practical exercises he sets his students, and in the course materials that he provides. Gary demonstrates a conscientious approach to his work. And Gary's commitment to his students extends beyond the courses he provides. Gary has given me continued feedback and encouragement in the two years since I first attended his courses.I have attended Gary's courses in:Adobe illustrator (basic and advanced)Adobe Photoshop (basic and advanced)Adobe indesign (basic)Whenever I hear Gary talk about his work and about design in general, it's with energy and enthusiasm - and you need to be careful - it's infectious! Some people are able to see the world differently - able to see how things could be made better by design. Gary and his team seem to have that knack - and things at Artisan Bytes are looking better all the time.
Owen Oxley: Amazing! Start to finish I was hooked! from very simple shortcuts to taking the most complex vectors and creating amazing pieces of artwork! I owe a lot to Gary and the courses I went on as in my day to day job now I wouldn't be able to do half the things I do!Highly recommended.
Matt Whaley: Gary is a fantastic Adobe trainer, who I would highly recommend. UTC Sheffield City Centre: what do users think?

Oldschool Realist: This school has a core of teachers that are well above the average and show real dedication. The staff turn over is low The school suffers from students attending simply because they have been forced out of their existing school and are attending because they have to and not because they want to take advantage of the opportunities that this type of hands on school can give. The opportunities are vast if the kids engage although some pupils learning is effected by the bad behavior of other kids. This needs to be addressed from the top down without delay to change a decent school into a great school.

emma wroe: AMAZING. absolutely magnificent! i love it. i love it. i LOVE it. 10/10. Mr Cocken was definitely one of the best staff i encountered here. the students are extremely comfortable in their environment. nothing wrong with this school AT. ALL.

Matthew Chapman: I studied here for 2 years and did learn a lot of information I still use today, such as Photoshop and graphic design skills and theory. Marketing and target audiences/demographics are useful in all occupations.

Trevor Maurer: Seeing really first class dedication and commitment from teachers and management. Students allowed to think and create, rather than being moulded in to little robots as in other local schools. Some outstanding work from students, really pleased that my son is attending.
James F: I studied my A-Levels at UTC Sheffield straight after finishing secondary school. It straightened me out from being a class clown who didn't care about school or succeeding, into a young engineer that an employer could work with and develop. If you're willing to put the hard work in, it's well worth it. The mix of hands on modules and theory make you a ripe picking for potential employers for apprenticeships/degree apprenticeships.3 years after finishing UTC I am now a Trainee Project Engineer in a division of my sponsor company, I have had the pleasure of working with and being mentored by all levels seniority in my company, from the machine operators who have decades of invaluable industry experience to the management team who give you an insight into the entire business.
Owen Houlbrook: If you want to get into engineering and your smart it’s a good college but I went for the first 6 months hated it and got an apprenticeship at amrc because the first year is all classroom work and the second year is just hands on but if you arent book smart but just makes the grades to get in it won’t be a good place because the teachers couldn’t give a toss how you do
lisa leo: Amazing school he's just got his exam results an passed so he's at college there best school ever
Hassan Khalil: Positive:Communication
Ge L: Kinda a good school but My son just started and lots of people are bullying him and being rude and laughing that him and he wants to go back to his old school
Dylan fields: quite like that fabian holding guy 10/10 😻
Tara Williamson: Its an amazing college I work there in the kitchen, staff and pupils are lovely
Toby Gibson: It's an ok school lots of teachers only focus on the students who are succeeding and not the ones who need help. However overall it's an alright school they are true to the zero tolerance bullying and stuff like that and not all teachers are bad.
Andre Laycock-charles: Positive:ProfessionalismGreat school, they give you a good chance of employment, and help improve your skills.
Owen Crawford-Thomson: Critical:Communication,QualityUsed to love engineering now I don't terrible communication with students and will only focus on the students that the teachers like
Rhys Lyons: Critical:ProfessionalismAbsolutely Dreadful, this one teacher named Roger Maleham tried to give me a detention for being called an offensive slur the awful man
Johan 393: haha i left
Ben Souter: Do you know the mee mee man?
Pastel Alex: Spicy
Oskar Chust: Good school
Oldschool Realist: This school has a core of teachers that are well above the average and show real dedication. The staff turn over is lowThe school suffers from students attending simply because they have been forced out of their existing school and are attending because they have to and not because they want to take advantage of the opportunities that this type of hands on school can give. The opportunities are vast if the kids engage although some pupils learning is effected by the bad behavior of other kids. This needs to be addressed from the top down without delay to change a decent school into a great school.
Nick James: Nerd school. If you like airfix models, Lego technics and Bob the builder you will love it here. The engineering side is second to none. The academic side needs to be managed. But my son loves it. He had a total change of attitude to school. Can't recommend this school enough.
Dmitrijs Solomevičs: Dcp
KID AIRSOFTERS: student here for 2 years, hated every second of it, absolute waste of time and space, its yeet or be yeeted out here bois big up mr cocken
Max Howden: Got to be the worst school in sheffield can't afford teachers so children can't study further into the subjects so have to keep on repeating the same thing every day as the teachers are very unprofessional but lure parents into sending there children here I noticed they get there negative reviews removed of here as this is fraud.

Peak Digital Training: what do users think?
Nicholas Vaughan: Really interesting and useful day with Chris. Definitely improved my technical skills with lots of one-to-one tuition, both specific to my camera, and on photography in general.Thoroughly worthwhile.
Caroline Alb: The beginners course is ideal for building confidence and getting people off the camera's auto settings.Chris is clear and concise with his teaching, there's no waffle and everything was explained simply.Working in a small group allows time for everyone to ask questions, get to know their own camera and for everyone to be involved in the course.Really glad I signed up for this, so much so, I've signed up for another course in June!
Sally Weston: Chris was a fantastic coach for my first photography course. I was thrilled to learn how to 'get off auto mode' and the great features on my camera. Chris was patient, clear with his explanations, and tuned his course to everyone's needs. Highly recommend!
Steven Broom: My partner and I learned such a lot from Chris on our one day course. I feel that my photography advanced a huge amout and I feel more confident about using my camera and tripod. A really fun, relaxed informative day - highly recommended.
Attila Suhajda: I received a personal photography training as a birthday present from my wife, who ordered the course from Chris. I can say he was a great choice. Chris shared practical advice and useful information with me that can only be obtained after many years of practice. This is exactly what I needed. Apart from his photography expertise, he know well the Peak District and told me many interesting things about the area. I recommend him to everyone.
Joanne Baxter: I did the beginners course as I wanted to understand how to get the most out of my camera and understand when to use certain settings. Really enjoyed the day, Chris was really great at explaining things and we had lots of time to practice in the afternoon. I am much more confident now in using my camera and would recommend anyone to sign up for the sessions. After a bit more practice I may well return for a landscape session.
Vicky Knox: Personally tailored and informative beginners photography course. I cannot recommend Chris enough! Small group size meant the day was easy to follow, maximum input from Chris for everyone’s individual needs and his knowledge and skills were invaluable.
Nigel Britton: A great workshop day, the location and snowy conditions gave plenty of photographic opportunities; Chris really helped me get up to speed with a bunch of advanced camera functions. The small group size was ideal with a lot of interaction. Highly recommended if you want to develop your camera skills.
Mark Bateman: Had 3 hours 1 to 1 with Chris this week, showed me what I was missing to get better pictures, lots to practice, well worth the timeWell after some good practice work my pics have defo improved, thanks Chris
Andrew: I went on the beginners course in March 2022 and found it really helpful. It was well organised and Chris was an excellent teacher. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about their camera and about photography in general.
Adrian Hodgson: I attended a beginners course. It was insightful and very useful. Chris is an expert in his field and put's things over in a detailed and really useful way. A lot of practice for me now, then I'll be signing up for the out and about landscape course. Thanks for an informative day
Janet Toni: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueFabulous course for photography beginners like myself. Would recommend this and I hope to book in again on the Landscape photography course in the new year.
Andy Newman: Did a Landscape course with Chris in mid-November. Were blessed with great weather and some really good insights from Chris to take my technique further with increased understanding around histograms, white balance and picture modes.Chris spent his time both 1-2-1 tackling our specific queries and with the group (4 of us) talking about more generic subjects, with plenty of time to put our learnings into practice - we shot well into twilight without really noticing taking advantage of long exposures.I not only have some great shots from the day, but also the knowledge that will help continue to get some great shots going forwards.
Robin Linkens: I really enjoyed the full day beginner's course in Summer 2021. Chris was methodical and careful in explaining the basics of photography in the morning which then enabled us to utilise those skills in the afternoon near Fox House. I am still finding his training really useful, as I continue to experiment with Manual settings on my Sony 6000 camera! Excellent training as well as good value for money with a small group approach and tailored resources for you individual camera.
Sue: I recently attended a beginners workshop with Chris - it was very enjoyable and I learnt so much about my camera. There was only 6 of us and we all had lots of individual support for our own cameras from Chris. I know a lot more about the features of my camera now and have increased confidence in using them. I will definitely be booking a landscape day as soon as I can. Thanks for such a great day.
Ben Coombs: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessFantastic course, would absolutely do another. Chris was amicable and approachable - an excellent guide to both photography in, and the history of, the peak district.
Jenny James: I went on the beginners course a few weeks ago and had such a good time. There were 5 of us on the course and I really felt like we all got a lot of individual attention from Chris who knew the specifics for each of our different cameras and how to make the best use of them. Learnt so much and it has really got me itching to take photographs. I really feel like I can now actually take some decent photographs that I'm pretty chuffed with. Thanks again and I will definitely be booking on another course with Chris in the future!
David Bryant: Positive:Quality,Responsiveness,ValueVery enjoyable and informative course introducing digital photography. Explained clearly as a pace suitable for all. Impressed with Chris's ability to teach students with a variety of camera makes and types.
Ellie Girling (Elcocoa): I recently has a private one-on-one class with Chris, and wow it really really was amazing. It was bought for me as a voucher for my 30th Birthday, & I can honestly say it was the most valuable gift! The knowledge I gained (from having absolutely ZERO knowledge) about my camera, and being able to actually know what im doing when taking pictures instead of trying to blag it, has really blown my mind. The way Chris explained everything, which I would have never 'got' if I had read a book, or done online youtube tutorials, really went in. I was worried id get bored, or my mind would wander because my attention span when it comes to learning is not that good, however, I could have stayed all day. 3 hours really is not long enough! Its made me so excited to get taking pictures, now I know what im doing. So thank you Chris! And massive thanks to my mum for the gift!* Also, everything covid related was adhered to properly with caution *
M Denton: A small socially distanced easy going one day course led by James from Peak Digital Training and who offered a wealth of knowledge, a loan of extra equipment and just the right amount of support without being overbearing in the slightest. The small group was friendly and the day was tailored and structured at a pace to allow this participants poor mobility not to feel like a hindrance to the group. We drove between locations and I took photos whilst sitting on rocks. Bliss!Personally I learn best when watching others demonstrate techniques and James has that knowledgeable manner that feels like its an old friend not a teacher just helping you expand your own knowledge and skill set.Id definitely recommend the course. I learned how to use a new technique and I learned how not to do a few things as well;).Its a big thanks from me.
Graham Twigg: Chris is an exceptional trainer, always able to explain what you need to know and a little more, so you can keep stretching yourself. Both my wife and I found Chris to be extremely knowledgeable with respect to the area as well as photographing the locations. Although we were not able to go to our preferred waterfall location or the moor when the heather was at its best, due to re-scheduling for COVID, we still took some wonderful photos. We are already talking about when we go on another course!

AJ Training: what do users think?
Rob allen: Very well run would definitely recommend
Lou Middle: Very in depth course with helpful workbooks to go over everything discussed. The teacher Matt was super helpful and patient, explained everything in detail.
Sydney Sullivan-Grey: Stuart delivered a 2-day PowerBi course to our company which we all thoroughly enjoyed. He kept us all engaged and entertained throughout.
Nick Hickman: Matt's Intermediate Excel training was fantastic. He's highly knowledgeable and made learning a 'dry' subject very entertaining.
Gavin Spray: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI recently had a refresher course after not using Access for 4 years. The course content was excellent and delivered in a professional and easy-to-follow manner.
Arianne Clarke: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat staff were friendly and very helpful and I learnt a lot about myself and security during the 5 days of the Door supervisor course.Highly recommend ***** Five Stars
Kat Sloan: I have visited AJ Training on a number of occasions for training, including MS Access (Intro) and MS Excel (Advanced) at the Rotherham Business Centre and I have received corporate training where AJ were able to send a trainer to my workplace, which includes MS Excel (Intermediate) and MS Word (advanced). We have often had Matt Wright as a trainer. Matt is always well prepared and explains the training extremely well as well as being patient with any questions or queries. The way the courses are set out means you get a broad range of information and an overview of many of the things you need to know at the right level. (And if you give Matt examples of what you need to do, he will always look for a way to explain how this would work in your personal context). The colleagues at the end of email and telephone, in particular Liz Beharall, are particularly helpful and provide all of the information you could need in a friendly and professional manner and often provide a courtesy call or email to see if there is any further support that can be offered. Would definitely recommend training with AJ.(They also provide a lovely lunch if that is one of the key decision-making features for you!)
Michael Hudson: Matt was a good trainer with a nice pace and good information to share.
Jason Roberts: Great tailored course and Stuart was an exceptional tutor. Very knowledgeable and his delivery was excellent
Tracey C: Just completed the Excel Intermediate course and it was extremely informative and delivered perfectly. The trainer, Matt was very knowledgeable and friendly - 5 star all the way and highly recommended!
gemma goulding: Great little training centre, excellent introduction to Excel and learnt so many new things. Thanks to Matt
Antonia Lowe: Had a wonderful days training, the learning was made to be fun and relevant to my everyday needs. Would definitely recommend it for anyone.
Theresa Stearn: well taught lesson content with use of it already within 24 hours
Jen: Completed my excel course yesterday and loved every minute of it. Daniel was a fantastic teacher and made it so fun while managing to teach introductory excel in a day! Will definately consider future courses.Jennifer Robinson (married name)
Darren Sampson: Excellent
Adri Sipos: Brilliant training, small team allowed to set the pace right for all attendees, trainer was very knowledgeable and good at delivering the training. Really enjoyed it
HR Department: Excellent facilities and very helpful trainers. The course was extremely helpful and the knowledge learnt will definitely be used in my day to day duties. Thank you very much for your help.
ImplantDentist Yorkshire: true professionals
Trevor Hallam: The course itself was just what I required for my job role in which I'm in. Matt broke each section of the course down and explained each section and asked everyone to make they understood before moving to the next stage. Unsure if the next levels would benefit myself but would recommend this course as a good starting point.
Ellen Summers: I have attended excellent training at AJ Systems. Their trainers are knowledgeable, friendly and thorough, all my expectations for the course were exceeded. I learnt a lot during the course but most importantly, I was then able to access support afterwards when implementing changes to our database. If you are looking for high quality training in a modern, comfortable venue I would highly recommend AJ Training.
Rebekah Foard: Completed the Intermediate Excel Course online. Interesting and useful content presented in a clear and logical way.

Jonathan Bickley: Fast, friendly passport service - took the photo, did the application and sent in the old passport. I had the new one within a week. Excellent.

Oladoyin Olawepo: Good customer service experience and fast turn around time
Hiba MA Alessa: I had the worst experience ever. A woman with a long light brown hair there was very rude and treated me like I am idiot.Just wanted an ID photo to print from my phone. She insisted to cost me just as Iam taking a new photo and to put it as a passport size photo although its not for passport!!Ended up with a cost of 14.99 pp for only 4 photos and were bigger than the size i wanted. Couldn’t go for a booth because the photo was not for me!!

She helped me pick the best photo and showed me all the frames. She did everything. I only had to go for a walk round and when I got back it was done. I was so happy with the results, the picture looked fabulous and the frame suited it. It looked great on the easel during Mum's service and everyone said same. I can't thank the young lady enough in the High Street branch, Sheffield. I'm going back to have some more photos of Mum done. 5* service. Thank you.

The University of Sheffield: what do users think?
Naoki Sato: Beautiful place!
Jyothi M: Hi Friends, kindly confirm do they have placement facility for Indian candidates after their MS post graduation.
Nehir Başara: I heard some bad things, I did not have a pleaseant experience.
Patricia Batty: Didn't hate it I have never been there
Evin Aycicek: Like many British universities, they view international students as nothing more than chickens that lay golden eggs. They eagerly accept our money, but when it comes to providing their promises, they fall short. In 2015, I stayed just one day in the Ranmoor dormitory and was promised a refund if I wasn't satisfied within 14 days. But when I expressed my dissatisfaction, they refused to return my £800. It was a blatant disregard for my rights as a student, and it left me feeling angry and betrayed. It's not enough for these institutions to simply take our money; they need to be held accountable for their actions and provide the level of service that they promised on their website.
CM: It's the 7th week and I haven't saw my professor for one of my modules. Also not even one single piece of self-learning material was uploaded by him and no one in the uni seems interested in solving this issue. Meanwhile the students were told to complete a group work without receiving any instructions from the missing professor.Imagining paying £3500 for a module and that's what you got
Sandra Simpson: Am currently working there has night cleaner it's great 👍 and lovely 🙂 people 😊💖💖
ikechukwu opara: Conducive environment for study with top notch learning facilities and lecturers who go extra mile to impact knowledge and capacity to the students.A good international mix up of students . Unity in diversity in practice.Quality Education assured.
Beauchamp Dissident: International Relations Teaching Associate Philip Mayne is negligent beyond belief and someone who was raised poorly. Funnily enough a bully and a r4cist. Otherwise a nice university
Leung Zoe: Think twice before you choose this uni. Their teachers are good, most of them paid a lot of effort in preparing the lectures. However, in the Master Taught Program, they intake LOTS OF STUDENTS who CAN BEARLY SPEAK and WRITE ENGLISH. Don't ask me how can it happen but it has seriously affect the quality of the class and the learning atmosphere.
Tim Foulstone: The University has become a hostile environment to people of certain religions and I no longer think that it agrees with freedom of religion.
Mo Mo: Is there anybody know why law university its off for 5 weeks please
James Smith: Avoid studying engineering here, the way they treat you is despicable. It's impossible to get hold of a student handbook before being a student. You effectively have to sign a blank piece of paper and hope for the best. This allows them to make up the rules up as they go along. The head of departments are corrupt. Do you have money and come from 'the right schools'? You'll get uncapped 3rd and 4th attempts at exams. If you come from a poor background they'll make things as hard as possible, because 'you were never going to succeed anyway'. Did they offer you a scholarship? Good luck getting them to pay out on it. They'll bend over backwards to make a good impression on opendays but don't be fooled, as soon as you start your course everything changes. You'll get to experience your timetable changing with a couple of hours notice. Remember all those student licences they promise you on open days, you only get them if the year group revolts. Tour guides on open days are paid to be there, those that critise the course are never offered these roles.
Davis George: Ranked uni. Well occupied one.
John Merritt: It's an interesting and diverse university with lots going on
vendetta V: students should really participate / pay attention to the running of Students Union so that it can voice your opinion on school policy or serious politics issueDont let certain committees’ personal opinions go over yours
uzochi bright: Read through my ordered prospectus.... excellent place to learn
Tahir Hussain: Very good
Robert Payne: Great university, next door to a wonderful park & museum. Although the University has improved its biodiversity and green space, the Arts Tower car park is an atrocious blight on the campus and desperately needs renovation into a welcoming green space.
Gareth Tidmarsh: Great buildings, came for the architecture, but Sheffield university has a great name
shoun D (Shoun): One of the best in uk
