Graves Park: what do users think?

Miss Ty: A friendly place to take the family to see and feed farm animals. There’s plenty to see on a smaller scale, place is clean and tidy, face painting and a small shop for souvenirs, as well as helium balloons. Parallel to the farm, there is a playground and park which is free, a paid train ride, a sand pit area, zip wire area too. Per effect for a picnic near the lake .

DEAN BUTLER: Great park, lovely woods, no longer appears to be having a problem with rats. Parking can be an issue although plenty of side roads and entrances to use instead of the main carpark. Watch for Traffic wardens though, they sometimes appear in large groups specifically to ticket family cars on verges etc when the weather is nice.

Lorraine INgham: Lovely visit to Graves Park Animal Farm, nice sunny day to walk round & visit the animals, all cared really well which you can see, all the people there work so hard. Lottie the Shirehorse is my favourite.

Richard Moore: Another classic sheffield park with great views over the city, a good cafe and an animal farm that is free to visit. These sheffield parks are hidden gems and should be treasured , hit like if you agree.

Ramona Elena: I was really impressed with this little place. I really enjoyed it. Not too many animals, but ones that are here are really friendly and cute, and you can tell that they are taken care of. Stress relief 😌 whilst petting the animals. You can find souvenirs at the shop inside as well as snacks. You can buy little bags with foodthe for animals for the full experience. The car park is a little bit too crowded and not big enough, but people are coming, and going this gives the chance to find a space relatively fast. No entry fees are required
Stuart Mitton: Great but cafe needs sorting
george70ism: Excellent little place
Storm 1uk: Beautiful park and good for walkers, cycling and dog walkers, family days out with a farm and cafe. Great day out to take in some you time..
Neil Baily-Scott: Great park for picnics and outdoor activities! Cafe is handy too!
Janet Theobald: Great for families as there are lots of animals and a playground nearby. Cafe does take away only at moment.
Joanne Turner: Playground: Grandkids love this place feeding the animals and playing on the park. Would highly recommend it here .
Gary Butler: Love to take my granddaughter here. Free to see the animals. £1 for food to feed them, so easy on the pocket too.Lovely park to take a picnic. When the sun is out it's gorgeous here.
Lokesh Kumar Ramakrishna: Dog-friendliness: Nice dog walk!!
C Moss: Brilliant place for a family trip out.Kids love the animal park and play area which are all set in a beautiful park. We had a nice walk around the pond and then stopped for a coffee and cake at the cafe. All free with the exception of the car parking which is council run and not too expensive. It does get busy and car parking can be difficult once it's filled up.
SHAFIQ AHMAD: Very nice Park.
Darrell Seymour: It would have been better if the cafe was open
Roger Mackereth: Top park in Sheffield shame about the cafe
David Turton: Dog-friendliness: Loads of dogs OFF lead
Steven T Hun: I came here to fish in the middle lake but I spent around two hours scanning the water with a polarised glasses but I only seen two fish in the whole lake! The water is shallow! One Koi Carp and a Large Tench!
John Sizer: Fantastic park
Michelle Royds: This park has so much to do. My grandchildren (and daughter lol) loved it all. Luckily the rain had stopped for them to enjoy it and they went on everything! Could have stayed longer I think if we hadn't something else booked later on.Only issue we had was that both my grandchildren climbed up the spinning rope climbing frame and ended up with black marks in their skin and clothes, at first we thought it was paint, but think it was grease.Playground: Lots of different ideas to have fun on. A great park with swings, trampoline, hammock, sand play, swings and basket swing, roundabouts, spinners, tic tac toe, zip line, climbing frames, slides etc.Restrooms: Toilets were located on the side of the Rose Garden cafe.Picnic area: There are seats/benches in the park and also in the Rose Garden and about the park.
Lizzy Noble: Best park in Sheffield
Elspeth Rose: Beautiful park, loads of room for the dogs to run about. Woodland, open fields, ponds, streams and more, it's lovely all year round. The only thing I'd knock them down on is the state of the toilets, they're pretty terrible, but I suppose nowadays it's lucky to find toilets anywhere.
Ann Barrowcliffe: Good clean space for my dog to interact with other dogs and people and have time off lead keeping his training going.Restrooms: A bit disappointed as some toilets were blocked with toilet roll.Dog-friendliness: Friendly people all of who had no problem around my dog being off lead at all. A great relax walk for him and me.
Jane Bond: Mega !!
Rachel Cusack: Lovely day out for little to no cost

Weston Park: what do users think?

Will: A scenic ‘cut through’ from Broomhill to the City Centre on a summers morning was worth the diversion! Great views of the Arts Tower, lots of ducks and pigeons! I’ve heard some of the portable coffee sellers are worth visiting.

Christy Mammen Mathew: Beautiful and peaceful park also has a few monuments and pond where a mix of ducks and pigeons live together, and I have to be honest, my favorite part is the pond. This has the potential to be very nice, but it requires some cleaning and maintenance. It still has plenty of life around it. I spotted this helicopter yesterday🚨👀

Maddie J: Beautiful place to go for a walk, close to UoS so an easy place to stop off. Especially nice in the summer when you can relax on the grass and makes for a quieter alternative to Crookes Valley Park.

Jenny Reiter: Beautiful park, especially in autumn.

V H (Tori): This place is beautiful and so calming. Always in pristine condition. Gorgeous duck pond and plenty of green space to roam around on. Lots of history here too, take the time to wander around and read up on some local knowledge.

Iryna Melnyk: Lovely park, especially in Autumn 🍂
Mike Freeman: Had a good look around in the museum which was very interesting, free entry as well, and the park itself looked really colourful
Fahiza Majeed: Dog friendly place , green space.
rain: brilliant place. lovely for walks round, great for picnics (unless it's been raining a lot!) , and beautiful nature. loved the ducks. located in a convenient place, perfect for days out in sheffield and a great place for a break.
Aina Lopez: Lovely park, extra beautiful on a clear sunny day
Philip Wright: Beautiful grounds, museum is great especially in poor weather conditions with kids
Muniba Khan: Great park for walking, cycling or just bird watching. Nice pond for duck feeding. It is next to the Museum and a lovely cafe. Also if you love coffee, Starbucks just opposite can serve the purpose. Great day out with kids.
Charlotte Punt: I got attacked by pigeons. Best day of my life!
david leith: Just dropped someone off.
Frank Frost: Not as interesting as when I was a lot younger, or so it seemed to me.
nur keskin: We stayed at the Knoll Tower in Weston park in 2019. Knoll Tower was quite small and squeezed but the outdoors were amazing. The restaurant was not serving hot food, all our bad luck. Overall it was a nice experience.
Robin Walters: My favourite park in Sheffield. Nestled in between the university and hospitals, it's a lovely place to take a leisurely walk and forget about the days troubles!
Im Sik Han: Beautiful and peaceful place to walk 👍
Josie Mellor: Great park for a walk with well-maintained paths underfoot
Erin Fields: Lovely, well maintained park near the university. Great for picnics, a walk around, or stopping by the Weston Park Museum. There's a cafe in the Museum and Firth Court, and often a coffee cart is parked in the park itself.
Lucas King: Highly recommend bringing seeds to feed the pigeons here, they're so friendly you end up getting absolutely covered in them and it's delightful
F12 G11: The park is one of the lovely parks if you enjoy running or feeding the duck 😀It has a coffee caravan sometimes & 2 tennis playground. If you have left the children hospital which is in front of the park it'd be nice to take your kid to enjoy it.
chaos pixie: Beautiful nice walk, with another beautiful park just next to it. Close to town.
Brett Windle: Bjs a bj init

shiv bhurtun: Very accessible for wheel chair users. Links to the Sheffield museum through pleasant walk amongst shrubs and flowers, whilst absorbing a combination of historical Sheffield university buildings and modern infrastructures. Rother Valley Country Park: what do users think?

tse13012: Great park with plenty of parking and a wide variety of activities for the whole family. We went there during the bank holiday Monday and rented some bikes to ride around the lake. A bit busy around the car park but as soon as you get pass it’s quite a pleasant route to cycle. After our bike ride, we returned the bikes and moved our car nearer to the lake and setup a picnic on the green next to the lake and a group of ducks swam by so we ended up feeding them. Very nice little break.

Joanne Boot: We go here regularly and really enjoy. We have a van so park on grass overlooking lake . The facilities are really good whether hiring bikes or boats or doing watersports. There is plenty to do and the walk around the lake is lovely. Also dog friendly Playground: Play area does let the park down a little as no much on it Restrooms: The toilets are basic but ok

Phil Bates: Was a lovely day out. Went on the boats and canoes. Weather was great so that helped. Clean park with kids to do. Nice walks around the lake if your not feeling energetic. Cafe is good with nice hot food

Daniel Cooper: Fantastic walk. Parking is charged by registration recognition camara. Lovey cafe that sells a good mix of foods as to he expected at a cafe. Very good value I felt. We went after a rainy day the path was ok for a push chair. Some sections are a little "bobbly" but we had no problem. Loads of wildlife to see. Everybody was friendly plenty of dog walkers and cyclists. Very clean.

Vee Dubya: This is a pleasant spot for a nice walk. The parking is paid for by the hour and works on a registration plate scanning system so you can pay by car on the way out or at the various pay points dotted around. Nice cafe, toilets and a dog friendly place to go inside as well.

Matthew Illman: Absolutely love this place, I paddle board here at every chance I get.Simply turn up, pay, and off you go (as long as you have a PFD).Beautiful location and amazing little cafe to grab a coffee and Cornish pasties after being on the water for a few hours.
Lara B: I love coming here half an hour drive for a lovely walk. 😍

John Cottingham: Great place and well worth a visit.
Jessica Wilson (sheaf_foodies): Lovely park , especially lake and visitor area with pretty mill and river , willow tree etc cafe and bathrooms, also under cover picnic area . Great for dog walks.
michael _speed_84: Lovely walk, cheap parking. Please watch where you park as narrow roadsPlayground: 6 out of 10 for park but perfect for a ten mins run around after having a ice cream.Restrooms: Near by easy to get to.Dog-friendliness: Loads of dogs, some off lead, wasn't any issues at all.Picnic area: Loads of seats as you walk round, not many bins . Loads of areas to lay on grass.
Asal Mohamadian: It is a beautiful place, best place for relaxing and enjoying natureIt also has some water sports for entertaining
Ian Doy: Great place, but a lot of the path that goes round it, is very difficult for disabled people with walking aids. Would be nice if it was all properly surfaced.
John Keller: Great day at cable.waterski.park
Lynx E: My usual great experience
Dafydd R: My first time here and what a joy to walk around. All the park was clean and no litter at all .The only shame is the pricing of the cafés and the ice-cream van... £13.00 for 2 🍦.. a total rip off!
