Chris Allen: Please be wary of this company. All their 5 start reviews have appeared recently and most only have one review. Also anyone thinking about taking a cavity claim to court should be aware that they will probably be liable for the costs if they lose which is more than likely. I know a woman who now has a £19,000 charge on her house because of this. She is going to be forced to sell her home if she doesnt pay it.

Stephen Wain: Possibly the worst solicitors in England. Over six years.Had to get extension as they ran out of time.you have to constantly ring and email them .I think all there interested in is how much they can make out of you. They make all the money you end up with a pittance. Be warned. It’s up to you .
James Cheverton: Initially took on a cavity wall claim for myself. I read the documentation highlighted areas that concerned me regards claim. They said these where ok only come to back to me 6 months later to say the same issues I had spotted made the case unclaimable. A waste of a lot time. Staff on the phone I found unhelpful when I queried situation and time frame. Would not use solicitors again.
Margaret Evans: This firm has been a complete waste of time. Last July Mr Brooke telephoned to say he had taken Over from our solicitor as they had folded. And a few conversations my partner had with him sounded as though he was the business. How Wrong !! Last November Mr Brooke passed our information onto miss hurt. You know those people who arent interested in what your saying. And talk over you Annoying is an understatement. And has she done anything NO. They have sat on their hands and done absolutely nothing to help my partners situation. So much so. His greedy brother has been able to have him removed as an executor and now has total control over everything that happens. This brother also stole £21,000. From his mothers bank accounts. And had the locks changed in the house. He has been able to get away with everything. Too much to mention here. And yet. This company have allowed it. ! Do yourself a favour. And stay clear. This company will be a waste of your money. If you have a smooth straight forward complaint. Then they maybe good. But if there’s any contention they don’t care. Why should they. They get paid anyway regardless of you losing everything what was supposed to come to you. They ignore calls. Emails. Texts. Even telling you when you finally get through that they are busy on more important matters. So. Go elsewhere. The only people who win here. Are these solicitors. They don’t care about you or your situation. And for the privilege of you forking out £200 an Hour for absolutely nothing !
Tracy Tidyman: Stay away from these and my claim matters. They had my signed docs for over 12 months and still haven't pursued my claim. Call handlers don't know what is going on and don't inform you of what's happening. Use someone else.
Trevor Davis: Do not go near this company, especially regarding Cavity wall insulation, they are an embarrassment to the law society. Two and a half years of my life wasted, fill you with promises, you do all the work for them. They then sent in another surveyor, who downgraded the first original surveyor, and then after several attempts to get an answer from them and being totally ignored. Phoned them to find out the case was closed and didn't get a penny. Agree with other reviews

Christopher Lyon: An absolutely atrocious company with a fast turnover of staff. They don’t appear to have drastically moved forward with my case or fought my corner proactively in the last year and quite frankly I wouldn’t recommend at all because its just one up hill battle, they are also liars, I firmly suggest that any calls you make to this firm are done via a recorded telephone line to ensure accuracy because they will deny what they say otherwise.
Scott Welding: Claim passed to this company. They added all sorts of additional fees on top of an insurance policy which was approximately 33% of the claim which was payable regardless. Tried to cancel the claim but they are uncontactable. READ THE SMALL PRINT WITH THESE CHARLATANS
Louise Poor: Have actually sent me an agreement to use their services in a Plevin claim with my signature copied and pasted onto it. Beware of this contract as their services aren't free. I have complained to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Maria Ru: Fragomen in Sheffield - the most unprofessional company I have ever worked for. It depends on which department you work for though. Finance and European departments are very educated, professional and lovely to work with. However, if you end up in the Immigration Coordinator's department be prepared... it's like working in a visa factory. Anyone who can count to ten can get this job. Wage is extremely low. Cleaners at university get paid more... Every single senior coordinator has a different criteria for marking, so one senior might be telling you you're right, another might be telling you you're wrong and mark you down. I ended up in A.H.team with a woman who has zero management experience and zero social skills. If you end up in her team too, run away. No one lasts longer than a few months. It's like a massive kindergarden. Management is extremely unprofessional and will support the ones who go to parties or gossip together. I guess it's not a bad job if you've been working in McDonalds (McDonald's is probably a lot better) for the last few years and need some admin experience. Other than that, you'll get a higher wage and more appreciation working at Aldi than here.

Sean Sullivan: Sarah Coyne and the team at Irwin Mitchell recently acted for us on the sale of our former home and purchase of our new one. Working to tight deadlines the two transactions successfully completed on the same day which was very pleasing (though a little unexpected). Throughout the process, Sarah and the team were responsive, kept us up to date with progress and managed our expectations. Pricing was clear and transparent. Deborah Rutter: I was referred to IM to negotiate damages for an injury for which the company concerned had accepted liability. Rebecca Braithwait (Sheffield office) handled my case. It was so helpful to work with the same individual throughout, especially someone so highly reliable and professional, who never failed to return my calls. I knew nothing of the process or likely awards in such cases, and was grateful that she took the time to explain what was happening and why. My claim was partly motivated by anger that compensation in personal injury cases - not only mine - was so low, slow and difficult to access. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be incredibly frustrating and disappointing.First and foremost, the solicitor assigned to our case did not demonstrate a strong work ethic. There were several instances where they failed to complete their tasks in a timely manner, causing unnecessary delays and stress. It seemed like their attention to detail was lacking, as important details were overlooked and had to be repeatedly addressed.Moreover, what compounded the issue was the solicitor's frequent absences due to holidays. It felt like we were constantly waiting for their return, which further prolonged the already protracted process. This lack of availability significantly hindered progress and left us feeling neglected.Communication was another area that fell short of expectations. The solicitor often failed to respond promptly to our queries, leaving us in a state of uncertainty and confusion. Clear and timely communication is crucial in legal matters, and their lack of responsiveness made the entire experience even more frustrating.Overall, I cannot express enough how deeply disappointed I am with the level of service provided by this solicitor firm. Their lack of professionalism, poor work ethic, and inadequate communication have negatively impacted the outcome of my friend's case. ZoSo Zeppelin: This is the second time that I've experienced dealings with Best Solicitors, and it's the second time that I've been happy with their service. This was in relation to the purchase of a property.As with all solicitors, there is always an element of frustration borne by the client, because we all want things to happen, like yesterday. What people sometimes forget is that the solicitor acting on our behalf has to deal with other solicitors, agents etc who, occasionally, forget the implications of any delays caused by their inactions, or incompetence.On this occasion, Best Solicitors, especially Stephanie was dealing with a third party who, in turn were dealing with a fourth party 😤. Not an ideal scenario, but it all worked out fine.Personally, I have no issues with recommending Best Solicitors Limited, especially when it's a matter of conveyancing.
Junara Begum: It's a scam! Avoid! Had a solicitor who I paid around £400 in December 2022 to serve a notice to my tenants. After that he completely disappeared. Then after multiple email and calls finally got through around Feb 2023 and said he would serve the notice but then completly dissapeared again and it's now May 2023! If anyone knows how I can get my money back please let me know. Absolutely disgusting behaviour!

She also breaks gdpr and doesn’t seem to have a clue about the process and upon telling her about appointments I’d previously had got snotty on the phone saying well you can tell me again can’t you with a vile attitude. Told her if already had an appointment only to be told all my personal information was said to a receptionist and that the individual wasn’t even a solicitor, told her how upset I was and then told there was only one solicitor I could have and she wasn’t available till the 22nd but for only 30 minutes which I’d already had so then when asking to speak to a superior then comes on the phone with an absolute disgusting attitude saying that I’d been swearing and abusive to the other person which I wasn’t at any point. Upon him saying that they won’t take my case and him getting aggressive on the phone to me. Reported!!

marrie bunting: Following from the below review ( Nick O’Brien) I have been in the process of trying to sell my house. I used wake smith as my solicitors when I initially bought my house. I was recommended to use these solicitors again by my estate agents as it was the best option to take.It’s been over 7 weeks since they had my case to progress, but nothing has been done to progress my sale forward due to them not registering my deeds properly onto the land registry from when I initially bought my house. Due to a missing plan from my plot they aren’t able to complete the deed to send to land registry. This should of all been done when I bought my house in the first instance. Not to mention when I bought my house they messed up with the plot number and postcode which resulted in a further wait time.My house sale should of been progressing nicely along by now but I haven’t been able to do anything because of the error they have made. I am not able to progress my sale until my title is on the land registry which could take a further 6 weeks! In turn this could result in my buyers pulling out as it’s taking too long. I’m so disappointed by the service I have received especially because I didn’t know the extent of this until a few weeks ago. When I spoke to them they said it could be 6 months before completion. Last week I had to take the initiative to move solicitors. I would of thought that due to their error they would of made my case a priority. I’ve had to chase multiple times to get an answer on the status. Very disappointed ☹️ Joanne C & Anne E dealt with the case.
