Korin Knight: I first went to see Lucy at Supernatural Nails to fill in for my other nail tech who was temporarily unavailable, but I knew from the first appointment that I was going to have to break up with the other woman! And nearly 4 years later, I still go back every month. It's a really important part of my self care.Lucy is fab to talk to – and that is coming from an introvert who would rather eat their own shoes than chit-chat about meaningless rubbish (hairdressers are immediately sacked if I hear the dreaded phrase ‘going anywhere nice on your holidays?’). You get the real person, and that makes for such a different experience. I really look forward to my appointments. The whole environment is safe, supportive and super comfortable.And her nail art speaks for itself. Gypsy Carty: UPDATEDSo far, just by communications, Lucy has been wonderful and helpful and their imaginative designs and visions, as well as patience and expertise, has hopefully designed me the perfect set of nails for my wedding. They have been clear, concise and very thoughtful in terms of keeping me at ease with initial communication, understanding in autism, and the safety measures taken pre-appointment (a full and transparent list of expectations and guidelines for cleanliness, safety etc you agree to on Fresha). I'll update this once I've had my appointment, but for the first time in my life, I'm actually excited about having my nails done, and not nervous in the slightest!UPDATEI had my appointment today and left the studio feeling like I'd made a new friend. Lucy's skills are impeccable, she was so easy to talk to and, most importantly, very empathetic and a genuinely wonderful person. I'm really happy with my nails and I can't wait for my wedding set - and even more so, to see Lucy again!Thank you again so much :)

After 20 years of trying to grow my nails I have found after having regular treatments with Lucy, I have naturally managed to stop biting them.There was never any judgement, even after I battered my nails during a particularly anxious period, she gave my nails (and I) a real pamper and I walked away feeling much better and my nails grew back strong and healthy. A no point did I feel silly with the questions I asked or not knowing the answers to questions, which I have done previously in other places.Not only does she really care for you and your nails, the designs are next level! I have loved experimenting with different stamps and nail art, even on my short nails giving them a bit of zing - the different methods she uses are fun to watch and really create nails to be proud of.I'd really recommend going to SuperNatural Nails, she is one of a kind.
Jen Tidman: Lucy is an absolute nail wizard! My nails were in a total state after having acrylics, but she's now helping me to get them back in a healthy state. She is highly trained in all forms of gel manicures and takes her time to make sure you get a perfect and natural-looking result, all while taking care of your hands and nails and using professional, cruelty-free products. She did me a beautiful set of bridal nails and I'm looking forward to getting some of the beautiful nail art designs that she does. Also, Lucy is super laidback, friendly and fun to talk to, which makes it the perfect pampering experience. Highly recommended!

Lucy Swift: Lucy is brilliant! My nails were very brittle and breaking after having acrylics 4 or 5 times in a row, so Lucy has used her lovely treatments on my nails to help protect and improve their condition as they grow out. She is very careful and takes her time to make sure your nails look perfect and it's a lovely surprise to have a nail technician that keeps hygiene and cleanliness a top priority. Her nail designs are fantastic and last for at least 4 weeks. To top it all off, she is a lovely lady and we always have a good natter while she works her magic on my nails! I would very highly recommend!

Jill Ford: I've visited this store for a few years now, ..in short here's a perfect reason to visit a store rather than shop online, - I'm a qualified City and Guilds Beauty Therapist but Nicky and her team always advise some new product/technique I didn't know about when I rush in to buy what I think I want. Nothing is too much trouble, - I was after a colour of gel varnish they didn't haveat the time, - ..a few weeks later one of the girls had remembered and kept one she thought would suit for me, ...was perfect and I bought it!. Not least it's always a pleasure to visit, often buy new products after a chat , true value add service with professional advice, - so great in these weird times, beauty and hair products always need guidance from a real person who knows, and these ladies are the best,- thank you! x

areeb mazhar: My wife booked in for acrylic nails and pedicure. This was her third time attending. When she turned up for her appointment she was assigned a man to do this. My wife explained she did not want this due to religious reasons. They agreed she could wait for the lady to be free.The lady became incredibly rude and blunt at that point (the owner we believe) and was unprofessional and cold during the appointment. The actual nails and pedicure were faultless but because of this appalling customer service they have lost a customer now.Please be aware in future that some women may have cultural and religious reasons they do not want a man touching them and this should be made clear in booking. After a third visit will not be returning again and will advise my Asian friends and family not to use the services either.
Lauren Fletcher: First time using this venue, experience was average manicure was okay but unfortunately it didn't even last a week so i would not go back. My gel manicure would usually last at least 2 weeks but these started peeling off after 5 days. I also had to pay more for them to not use a drill on my nails. (I would not want a drill used on my nails any time but did not even have anything on my nails to be removed so not sure why this was extra)

Cleo Lindley-French: over all a nice experience , some of the hand towels were dirty and also the toilet was very unpleasant . i bought a full set of gel acrylics and within 2 days three of the nails had already fallen of . the women didn't wipe my hands after filing (and i had to ask her to do it ).
Brooke McGowan: Not super happy with my experience here. I asked for a shape between almond and stiletto, and the young man who started my nails went about this, they looked a bit square but I assumed this was going to be filed down into shape later so I didn’t say anything at first. Then the two working swapped and a different woman worked on my nails - I then realised the shape they had been put into was intended to be the final shape and I said ‘sorry, I actually asked for an almond/stiletto shape.’ The woman then spoke to the young man, not sure what she was saying but it sounded like she was telling him off. Another customer beside me had to repeatedly ask her gel polish to be fixed by him - perhaps he was new but it was clear that no one in the shop was particularly happy. In changing the shape of my nails they obviously didn’t end up as I really wanted them originally because changing from square to an almond/stiletto is difficult. I understand that, so didn’t say anything about this, didn’t want to be a hassle and already felt uncomfortable with the clear tension between the employees. All in all paid £33 for a manicure with a really unsatisfactory customer experience. Will not be returning.

Kacee Phillips: Paid £35 for nails that lasted not even a day.Less even 6 hours the nail snapped off and they replaced it the next day and then the same happened again. Staff made me feel uncomfortable when I went back. Wouldn’t recommend.
