Rosie Dyson: I visited the store on Tuesday September 6th 2022 and Craig was extremely helpful and gave excellent guidance and advice as I chose my new mattress. The mattress arrived promptly on Friday September 9th2022 at the pre-arranged time and Mark and his colleague who delivered it were friendly and courteous, unpacked the new mattress for me and took away the old one. I would have no hesitation in recomending this store and have been impressed by the service I have received. Excellent value for money too.

Mark Hands: We absolutely love our new kingsize bed! Fantastic service from Katy & Ross from start to finish. Katy was so welcoming when we visited the showroom to choose our bed and was so helpful, answered our questions and left us to browse at our own leisure - no hard sell! We also had excellent service from Ross and Oliver on delivery of our new bed. They took care when carrying the bed upstairs and setting up in our bedroom. Ross was so helpful in explaining aftercare of the bed and how the ottoman lift works. The bed is beautiful and fantastic quality we are so pleased with it! Friendly and professional service, I 100% recommend the bed shop and we will return in the future!
Georgina Campbell: I needed a new orthopaedic European king-sized mattress but found out from Katy at The Bed Shop that most manufacturers had stopped doing them following Brexit. In the end she had one specially made for me based on the UK king size model that I wanted which was considerably less expensive than others online. She is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to make sure you get what you need. The delivery team were also excellent. Highly recommended and a local business to boot.

We had to delay the delivery of our bed due to our new carpet arriving later than planned, but they accommodated our new date without quibbling and stored the bed until we were ready. Not only did the delivery drivers haul it up the stairs to the flat, but they assembled it for us too. The mattress is super comfy and with memory foam on one side, we can choose which level of comfort we need. Thank you Bed Shop - we really appreciate your help!

Delivery guys had it assembled and were out in under 40 minutes with all waste removed.They do discounts for purchasing more than a couple of pieces (mattress, headboard, base) together and offer front- or side-lift Ottoman beds in a huge range of fabrics.

Victoria: So we were initially drawn in by the 70% off sale advertised on FB, we went to the outlet and saw a lovely sofa which we then bought. The service was great but we were told upon purchase that we were saving at least 50%, that the sofa we purchased for £1150 was actually still online on the Costco’s website for £2300. After purchase I had a google and saw that, yes, the sofa was still online but for the OG price of £1250 - hardly the £1k+ discount we were promised. Would’ve given 5* had we not been lied to about the price.
Faisal Khan: Avoid these guys at all cost, bought a king bed frame and mattress and 2 single mattresses, king bed is faulty massive gaps on side where you can see slats, mattresses were very dirty upon delivery, paid these clowns £1000 and would have got a better deal elsewhere, also liars, said my mattress was £500 alone but on delivery the plastic on the mattress said £349. Avoid at all cost cheap rubbish at rip off prices

Unable to safely load what I had bought, which needed to be somewhere immidiately, these guys at the end of their shift chucked it in the van and followed me for an hour long trip. Wouldn't even take any cash for diesel. Without AJ and his team I would have been completely at a loss and I'm so unconditionally grateful.Customer service doesn't extend to this level of kindness. Was sold a table with 4 chairs, we specifically asked if the price was for the table and chairs, they said yes it was for everything we could see.Delivery came a few days later with no chairs. When we called up we were told it was a "misscommunication" ...no, we were lied to. They then said they would come pick it up in a couple of days and give us a refund. 2 weeks later they still hadn't arrived. We had to chase them up multiple times. Eventually they came and wanted to give us cash for the refund (and didn't even bring enough cash for the full refund). We had to go back into the shop for the refund, to them be sent to their accountants to do a bank transfer.Avoid this place at all costs, they are extremely unprofessional and will try to con you out of your money. There are plenty of much better furniture outlets in sheffield

It took me to phone the Trading Standards and open a case against them while in the store when he got wind of it he gave us a £900 refund then £450 on pick up of the stand in sofa (which he left so they had something to sit on after they got rid of old one day before the sopposed delivery day) he gave rest in cash but this left my parents and dad who had just had a stroke with nothing to sit on 4 weeks before Christmas! !! Shocking treatment!cowboys!AVOID
Kelly Chambers: Terrible experience - sold a wardrobe from Heartlands that didn't exist (said they'd order it in) but kept saying they'd deliver it Friday...then Tues...then Fri...and so on for SIX WEEKS. Then when a refund was requested, they played the same games!! Til legal action was threatened, then the refund was in my account within a couple of hours. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Linda Webster: Cannot recommend David highly enough. We have just purchased a selection of furniture and the quality for the price price paid is outstanding. The delivery guys were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. However, we made a mistake and some of the items weren’t suitable for our needs. We went back and explained our problem to David and he was fantastic. He allowed us to select another choice without quibble and arranged to swap them almost immediately. He even refunded the difference on a lower priced item. We will never buy our furniture anywhere else from now on. Amazing service from start to finish.

Lex Dia: Brilliant service from Kerry and Karen. Kerry had me use the brand new Sleepmatch machine thst they have aha which looks like it should be in NASA's central testing room lol. The machine collaborates your weight, height, aches and pains etc. then uses an algorithm to give you a guide of how many springs are required to support your joints. They were both superb, they poured me and my Mother a cuppa & let us use the WC. The delivery men, Dave and his helper were efficient, friendly and I liked how they both put socks over their shoes before they entered as to not mark the carpet. Great service all round 👏 would give 6 stars.

Issa Eliassi: I bought a bed a few days ago, when they brought the bed to me, they didn't bring half of the bed and they told me sorry, we left half of the bed and we will bring it to you after an hour, but after a few hours, I asked several times with I spoke to the shop staff, but they said that this is not our responsibility and that we cannot help you and that I have to talk to the customer service. When I called them, they told me that it would take a week for us to bring you the other half of the bed. You have to wait any longer, it's very funny, I requested to cancel the order, but they say you have to wait a week for us to take half of the bed, and you have to wait 3 weeks to get the money back, and I don't know what to do with half of the bed. They have no responsibility for the mistakes they make

The sofa bed I ordered is really high end fold over quality and they even threw in an extra perk for me whilst the sale was on and I was really gobsmacked. Great company not salesy at all! Brill.

Matt Green: I would not recommend Furniture Village to purchase from solely for delivery and after sales.They have a system where when they input your email incorrectly, they cannot try to send it you again with the correct email for your insurance documents, because their system doesn’t allow it, which is a pathetic excuse for someone who can’t be bothered to do their job.Delivery drivers are mostly contractors who purposely forgot half of the order because once again, “they can’t be bothered”, and they supposedly take pictures of damaged items for a replacement, only to find out when you talk to customer services that they never sent the photos in, making you ineligible for a replacement. Customer service is total mess, filled with people who do not want to help you, and are only bothered about their own gain.

Jack Rush: Purchased an ottoman bed from here.The delivery got delayed by a month fron original date, understandable these are weird times right now.However, we weren’t informed that you need a big hallway/staircase for it to be manoeuvred into your bedroom.So it didn’t work, had to be taken back. (Apparently 1 in 5 deliveries are like this according ti the driver)But the big kicker is that we had to pay 20% cancellation fee! Through no fault of our own, the sales people in shop need to make sure that the customers house can fit these bed frames in.Absolutely unacceptable.
Chloe Chatterton: Absolutely shocking customer service. My nan (87) bought £900 bed which arrived broken. Then had to wait 6 weeks for it to be fixed. Then once fixed another draw broke (despite not been used at all) when speaking to customer services they basically said they carnt do anything !!!! Disgusting service and I advice people to not use this company unless u want broken goods.

Carly Taylor: Can not fault the delivery drivers but the company I will never deal with again! We ordered the bed December 27th 2021 to be told it would arrive 3rd March which was fine. When arrived the mattress was not there I got told the day before it wasn’t coming with no date to when it would be. After ringing a few times and taking a hour to get threw we got no where plenty of empty promises though!!! We went down to the shop numerous times and the lady helped to chase it emailing etc constantly we eventually got a text out of the blue saying it would arrive this was 28th March and when it arrived the packaging was ripped and marks were on the mattress!!! We could not send it back as my daughter had been sleeping on a borrowed old mattress on top of the bed base!!!!

When they installed them they had the nerve to bother putting a metal plate between the doorway and hall so the carpet will fray. Then, they left all their rubbish off cuts in the house for me to throw out. Disgusting service with a bad attitude.

barbara roper: got my new leather suite today, the delivery men were fantastic, could,nt have been more helpful, polite & courteous. the suite is gorgeous! after spending weeks of looking for one, that both myself & husband finally agreed on, we found yorkshire furniture store online & so glad we did, went to the store to try out many of the suites in there, they were patient, allowed us to go round at our pace without hassling us to buy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! so welcoming.

Harry John: EDIT* be careful!! ,sofa recliner was faulty, owner tryed telling me there’s nothing wrong with it then after telling him it’s not supposed to be like that he tryed saying I have to pay for a sofa technician even though I had it for a month. In end he payed for sofa technician and he knew it wasn’t right straight away with springs catching. Had a replacement fitted n did bang same only worse and now there ignoring my calls or won’t even get back in touch only when warranty run out, blocked me on Facebook so I can’t say anything, owner just said “it’s a slight noise” clearly the springs was catching! They clearly don’t know about sofas! Citizens advice said they’ve had a few calls about faulty items then won’t get back in touch till warranty runs out.. AVOID! Edit* It was the springs catching inside the sofa so don’t lie saying it’s metal recliner haha because I’ve got texts to prove it. Just making up lies to give an excuse because there was rolling tobacco so I don’t know what your on about.
