Florence Rai: It’s my first time experience with Thai massage and I must say that it was best decision that I ever made for my body. I didn’t realise that how my muscles were tight all over my body. I felt tight muscles knots and pain to areas that I never ever expected. I did 1 hour massage session and I thought that it was too long however, even 1 hour session felt short for me. The whole experience was pleasant, relaxing and few pressure point here and there, however, my body needed that massage to relieve me from my stress from day to day lifestyle. The prices are reasonable too. I look forward for my next session.

The masseuses are attentive and skilled. I’m in love with the heated beds too.Note that they work in big rooms where there are 2-4 beds, separated by thick curtains. Not a problem for me, but some clients think that if they nobody sees them, nobody hears them — no talking please!Also, mind there are like 15 stairs, leading to the place, so not accessible for disabled.To suggest an improvement in the toilet: it would’ve been nice to wash my hands with warm water (not ice cold), plus have something to dry my hands with.

I decided to book myself and my fiancée in for a couples side by side massage to end a great weekend of concerts and partying we had Friday night in Leeds.This was something else, head to toe. Not only deep tissue massage but a full on stretch therapy with foot rubs, head rubs & facial, sinus stimulation.I have suffered from sports injury to my ankle and shoulder for the last 4 years. I have spent thousands so far on various chiropractors (£40 for 20 min session) osteotherapists (£55 for 40 mins )& NHS physiotherapists along side sports massages (£30 for 30 mins) every two weeks.Nothing compared to what I felt I have achieved in one hour here for just (£35).The stretching really opened up my hips, the massage hit all the right places and has released my neck to shoulder pain, BIG time.I am so eager to go back already! As I write this feeling bruised and sore from the selected ‘hard’ massage option (as I’m use to sports massages).I’m going to stop going to my other therapists for now and just use these Amazing people at Thai Retreat.I didn’t expect so much progress in such little time. 10/10 quality service. Very grateful from a 29 year old, mechanic/ new father, who needs his mobility for the long run!My fiancée will write a separate review.Riley

Ed: Came in, 1) Lady didinti even asked do I have any problems, tighteness or pain. 2) barely talks english. 3) could feel her nails scratching my back . 4) she lead me to the room and left without even saying how i need to get ready or how to lay down. 5) pressure of deep tissue really low. Respectfully explained that i do want to stop treatment after 45 minutes, vas really disappointed & still got charged 40 for "deep tissue" Thanks never again.
Response: He booked for 2 hours relaxing massage but expected for Deep tissue. He canceled half way . ( this gentleman claimed to be “ massage therapist “ why did he come here doing this ?? .. I have been practicing for last 20 years , have never had complain about my nails and pressure. . Check my feedbacks.

Doctor would only give painkillers so after researching online I decided to give a go to Healing Space and I met Qinn! Qinn just changed my life from the first session where I could feel a massive improvement. After 5 sessions I can say I am pain free and we have now found the root of my initial issue, everything lower back related. Qinn is such a great professional, she knows what she is doing and will only treat you with what you really need. Honest person and very professional. Imran Rehman: My father had an issue with his legs that randomly had weakness and couldn’t stand. This was undiagnosed after many many tests and physio treatments on the NHS. I had visited Healing Space previously and thought I would try an alternative method since nothing else was working 18months later. Within the first treatment where the weakness in the legs occurred multiple times a day had since now not happened within a full week thankfully. Here I am now for the second session and will continue to keep coming. The staff are great and the service is fantastic. I have recommended them before and will continue to do so. Thank you so much guys. It means the more than you can even imagine!

WhatThe Hell: If you haven't the time/inclination to read my experience below then I'll summarise it by saying "Excellent - Great Service!"After being diagnosed with Sciatica (extremely painful condition when the main nerve running down the back gets trapped), I was told by the doctor that the pain would last between 1 and 3 weeks. Because of the agony I was in, I called Healing Space and spoke to Qin. She suggested Accupressure and booked me an appointment the following day.To her credit, I did actually feel a little better the day after the session but despite the improvement, I felt I needed more treatment.Anyway, I booked to see her again later that day for Accupuncture + massage - this is where the dramatic improvement came. Almost immediately afterwards I was able to get up and sit down without the pain (previously agony, before the acupressure) only feeling a general ache in the bottom of my back. This ache eventually disappeared after 3 days. The recovery following my two visits in the care of Qin was remarkable.I can't praise her expertise highly enough. First class service at an affordable price.My only advice is if you have recently had an injury, seek treatment as soon as possible. Why wait for weeks in pain/agony/discomfort?

Sim Marie: I went to Qin yesterday with a bad neck, having pulled it the day before and was in agony. I couldn't move my head from side to side and struggles sitting up/ laying down. I had the pain relief treatment and reflexology. My neck felt much better after the first session, I can turn my head from side to side now and have some relief from this horrible pain. I can also sit down/ lay down much easier than before. The pain relief treatment depending on what you have is quite rigorous so be prepared but it obviously works!! I am quite tender where the treatment was this morning but I feel much better than when I first went. I also got 15 mins free because I booked it before 12pm. highly recommend. Thank you ☺️ will definitely be back!Update: I've upped this to 5 stars - i'm seeing them for a bulging disc in my lower spine L5 S1. After my first session, I am already walking without a limp! The first time in several months!!!!!! I am blown away by this and have booked future weekly sessions. These ladies are absolutely brilliant at what they do.

H S: I came to the healing space in Sheffield a chronic back pain sufferer with a minor condition and Qin was excellent she knew exactly what she was doing she also took into account of human body pressure points especially on problem regions (lower back) I herniated my L5/S1 disc very badly 1.5 years ago which has almost heal but is still flat on the MRI scan and takes approximately 3 years to heal. However, I am stuck with chronic back pain sometimes with/without sciatica down both legs which can be quite crippling. I gave a pain massage a try with Qin today and I can't believe how loose my back has become I've never felt such pain relief in years of suffering with horrific pains which initially disabled me and affected my mood, mental health (severe anxiety/minor depression) my studies, my work and my relashonships. If you have something similar to me then give this place a go and you'd be pleasantly surprised Qin was excellent, professional and friendly her work is astonishing. 5 stars for me all the way! I'll be back! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Qin!!!! noone will understandhow crippling this condition reslly is!Sending my warmest regards to Qin! ❤️Edit: I visited for the second time and I was not disappointed not only does qin provide excellent service but she really identifies where the pain is starting and how to resolve it. All towels used are always clean and freshly washed, she changes these every time a customer visits and ensures she anti bacs the massage bed - this is very important for me working in healthcare during a pandemic. The massage is suited to your needs and Georgia can vary dependant on what is requested from light pressure to deep tissue massage. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a remedial massages or specific bodily issues with muscle pain.

Entering through a courtyard, you immediately leave the busy-ness of the main road behind and join the peace of a tea room and antique shop. Up on the balcony you enter the Wellness Centre, where there are talking therapies and massage available. Everyone is friendly and professional, and I am proud to be part of this team of professionals. Defo recommend, whatever your body or mind may need.

Rheanna Griffin: Absolutely incredible massage from Fi today. After having a really difficult week Fi was able to literally reset my nervous system, I left feeling 100x better than when I arrived. Fi has such an intuitive style, I felt like she read what I needed from my body perfectly. At 37 weeks pregnant I didn’t know how massage would feel on my aching limbs and pelvic girdle pain but it was absolutely magic, I feel so incredibly relaxed and the pelvic pain has even improved slightly. Fi also gave me some helpful advice with some things I’ve been struggling with through my pregnancy. Highly recommend this wonderful woman.
