Ankita Sendre: Awesome experience Staff was awesome and so helpful People too. They are supporting and encouraging to skip They charge 8 pound which is not so expensive for 1 hour worth it Love to go again if I had a chance in future 🤗 go for a try Highly recommended ✌🏻
Stephanie Barber: LOVE Ice Sheffield! So reasonably priced compared to a lot of things now and the kids really enjoyed it! The staff were friendly and polite and the rink was great! We cannot wait to go back! Fun exercise for the kids too without them realising!
Kris Haynes: Great fun to be had, recommend booking in advance to skip big queues. Lockers have gone up in price to a non returnable £1 seems a bit harsh after paying to get in but what can you do.
Ustra k: Went for the Steeldogs, semi final first leg. Good night out, really reasonably priced tickets, well priced and filling food and as for the game - feels really close to the action. Definitely going again, will take the clan next time
Editor Maisie: Loved the GP Sheffield so much! Great arena. Management was terrible though 😂
John Haley: In short. Friendly staff, clean facilities, reasonable pricing and plenty of parking. Had a really good afternoon. Plus staff were very helpful when my partner left her handbag and they kept it safe when she realised it was missing once we got home and I drove the 20 miles back to collect it 😑. The kids had a blast though.
Tapiwa Makosa: Loved being on the ice. Never wore skates before. Pleasant experience and wonderful way to let off steam
paul: Son coming on a treat with the coaching lessons
Thomas “LordTikTokUKOfficial” Lorimer: My experience at Ice Sheffield was nothing short of fantastic. With its well-maintained facilities, friendly staff, and emphasis on safety, it provided an exceptional ice skating experience for visitors of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned skater or just starting out, Ice Sheffield offers a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages growth and enjoyment on the ice. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a memorable ice skating experience in the UK.
EBW&NCWA: Daughter went to Boom Skate session and really enjoyed it.
Sai Chaitanya: It’s good but there is no one to guide the newcomers, I saw people break there noise and legs in front of me, Just be cautious 😅
Philip Shaw: Love this food /bar ,not expensive and the food is lovely so saves going elsewhere whilst waiting to skate.
Norah A: loved this place!! very kind staff and spacious rink
Smurf “Lovebirds” Mrs smurf: Great venue , watching the grandson playing ice hockey 🏒
Glyn Ryles: Pretty decent, but it does get busy and the staff aren't great at ensuring novice skaters stuck to the rules. Don't expect to get a hot drink in the morning as their cafe isn't open unless they have some event on
Mcauley Jones: Love it, skate all the time
Shaun Dignam: Great skating session , nice friendly staff and nice cafe to relax
BLADESLAD 84: Great for the kids family skate I enjoyed it myself
John Lyne: What a great local resource for the sheffield community. Good value, good facilities, plenty of parking. Happy staff. Use it don't lose it.This time attended a full day workshop really good value for money. People come from far and wide
nathan etherton: Came here on Wednesday 12 April 2023Booked on line 2.20pm-3.40 holday sessionShouted everyone to come off at 3.20 saying booking online was wrong when states had to speak to management that never came and a young girl proberly not even 18 told us all to go back on due to a crowd of people told her the booking states 3.40.If you have younger kids avoid the older kids are breaking the rules speed skating figure skating swinging there skates sideways older kids playing tagg on the ring racing up and down the ring Half the staff know the older kids not obeying the rules.
Sarah Apples: Staff on the desk and the cafe are really nice, but the managers do seems to be very agressive towards people using the rink. Particularly towards hockey teams who were using the facility, instead of deecapating the situation they responded aggressively, it was very unprofessional and made spectators uncomfortable.
Paul Cooke: Too expensive for a family
Dave Marsden: This is the nicest ice stadium I have been to. The food is good and reasonably priced and there are two ice rinks. Lovely setting and easy to get to. Plus, the car park is free.
Sharon Marshall: Great time with my Grandson first time skating in 25 years. Very helpful staff.
Taylor Brown: nice
Sarah Tadman: Came here for the first time last night to watch the Sheffield Steeldogs vs Peterborough Phantoms ice hockey. Firstly there is plenty of free car parking, also a couple of friends came via tram so is accessible from the city.Building is great, with two ice rinks. Facilities were good, food was available (didn't have anything to eat but saw plenty of large hotdogs!), beers too (although disappointingly no Bradfield Brewery, even though the team is sponsored by them). Toilets very clean.Sheffield also won 9 - 5 so was good value with plenty of goals and a home win!
c bu: Great place to ice skate
Steve Byrne: Great ice pad

Business type: Roller skating rink
Abbo Abbo (Abbottoir): Training place for Hallam Hellcats Roller Derby team, great for a skate
ZairaPlayz: i went for my school trip today and it was really fun. They had a good selection of food too and the rink was really big. It had plenty of room and there were always staff on the rink to help you if you needed it. :)
Marie Richards: It was a fab experience. It must be 40 years since I last had the roller skates on. Not bad to an oldie. Managed 5 laps round the rink before I came crashing down on my knee. Had to come off after that. But has great fun and brought back happy memories of my youth. ( im 50 now) plus remembering when i used to come ice skating hers too. Made another happy memory with my 14yr old daughter. Lol.
Sarah North: Really old skool. The kids loved it
sarah harris: The Grandaughter loved it once she got goingIt was her 1st time & she wants to go back already 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Reyna / Siria: I would have given it 0 stars if I could. Absolutely despicable service. Tried on the skates and was physically in too much pain as they were so broken. Attempted to get a refund as the two ladies doing skate rental told us that we would be able to (they were both very lovely, not mad at them). Spoke to the man at reception who I assume was the owner who was incredibly rude. He accused us of being there for 30 minutes (we'd been there for 15 minutes maximum, tried on the skates, and decided that we couldn't go forth with it), and then got refused a refund based on the grounds that we *had* been there for 30 minutes. The lights & music were both ridiculously loud, and two of us who had sensory issues could barely take it there, but couldn't leave the other two in our group, and weren't accomodated at all. There was practically no seating, and impossible for anyone who may not be able to stand for periods of time. Overall, I will never be returning, and I will be highly recommending that no one else does either.
BOBLION: It's good, but has flaws, mothers and kids running around on the skating floor, causing crashes and injuries, without skates or skating.
Mr G: Skateing and skate hire for £10 or less is value for money in my eyes. The rink itself has some defects where the tiles have lifted but thats to be expected as this establishment has been around for years. Only 3 stars due to the fact we arrived early for the roller disco with the intention of getting a bite to eat in the cafe, we were very rudely and abruptly told to leave by the box office staff without any question why we were there.
Lucy Jeczalik: Cheap, cheerful, so much fun!
Amy Anne Spiteri Cornish: So fun!
Mark: Kids had a great time.
Kelly Roberts: Our roller derby home venue. It is what it is. Old school rustic skate rink. Cold!
iony RO: Never been in a skate ring before therefore for us was a great experience. Really helpfull staf
Simon Mitchell: Booked and had to change the date more than 2 weeks in advance. Tried messaging through their website, no answer. Tried ringing, the guy was so rude said they are non exchangeable, customer service is not their selling point, told me to message through the website anyway? Can't see how losing customers and a poor review is worth nabbing £8 entry, but clearly management's social skills are on a par with their business acumen.
Raphael “Rafayizle” Onwe: Lovely and affordable place to skate. Also, no need to worry about skating shoes cos they'll provide one at just £2.
LeLimone: Always massively too busy. No rules enforced, which makes it horrifically difficult to not knock over other people and children. They claim to enforce "no speed skating" and "no going against the one way system" but clearly the only rule they enforce is "no outside food or drink". I'm not going to pay for an overpriced bottle of water when I can just bring one myself and drink it out of sight of staff. Staff completely ignore children and adults with no skates on the rink breaking rules, and instead only focus on people simply trying to drink water. Also not to mention the FLOOR QUALITY. The amount of times I have fallen because of lumps, bends in tiles and peeling up floor tiles is uncountable. Also, the amount of grime on the floor is disgusting. You would think they could maybe sweep off the dust, mud, and scraps of broken skates, but clearly they can't be bothered. The only good thing is the lights and music, but even that is so loud you can't hear the person right next to you shout. They run out of skate sizes way too quickly as well. Even when we arrive early for skate hire, there isn't a single size 5 quad left - and that's a pretty common shoe size! Not to mention how almost all of the skates have toestops and straps ripped off. They can't even keep children from tearing apart skates! Me and my friend come every Sunday to skate - we have been forced to buy our own skates due to the appalling quality of the hire skates. Not to mention how the staff at the door seem grumpy constantly. We can only go here because it's the closest drive to us- going to the second closest rink would take another 20-30 minutes of driving on top of the already 25 minute journey. Disappointing.
Rithika Naidu: Despicable service, absolutely rude bouncer at the door threatening me a woman with four kids!! Extremely rude person at the door who needs a lesson in customer service and a receptionist who needs a computer to check the booking!! Where are we - in the 1800’s?? None of the staff would give me a name and grabbed my phone when I said I’d take a picture. Abhorrent behaviour and a very unsafe place for your kids. Beware!
Floof: Me and my friends came here for a birthday party. The man (who we believe is the owner) at the door was incredibly rude and yelled at multiple guests. When we made it in, the music was way too loud and caused you to vibrate. There were also constant flashing lights that practically blinded us all. Me and my friend who have sensory issues physically couldn’t skate on the rink and had to resort to the bathroom to skate where there were girls (under the age of 14) vaping so we spent the rest of the 2 hours we had payed for in the skate exchange. The music was still incredibly loud there. We asked the aforementioned owner to turn the lights off or turn down the music down. As we physically couldn’t use the rink we payed for due to our disabilities. The owner said they only have the one flashing setting so they couldn’t change it. So naturally we were very annoyed when at the end of session the disco lights went off and so did the music. So we went on and enjoyed the 5 minutes we had. This place was terrible and incredibly unaccommodating, my friends ankle skin was split open and they could barely walk hours later. We physically can’t come back here.
Michał Krupowicz: Love it !!! It's greate place and so much fan

Cherie Powell: I haven't skated here(apart from when I was a child and it was an ice rink) I went to watch a ball hockey match and the rink seemed good and everything else pretty much unchanged in the last 40 years or so.
abigail salt: If you're thinking of going here, don't bother. The skates are of really poor quality, we even had a wheel fall off during our skate session. We spoke to the manager who was extremely rude and refused to give us our money back when we had only been skating for 10 minutes. Not to mention the place is incredibly run down. Waste of time and money!
Sarah North: Really old skool. The kids loved it
