Blend Kitchen: what do users think?

Laura Marsden: I did a street food workshop here with a group. It was such an enjoyable experience and excellent value - I would highly recommend booking one for a group activity with a bit of a difference. Chris was so friendly and patient delivering the workshop and he talked passionately about the cause. The food was delicious too. We made chicken or tofu satay skewers and Thai fried rice and we were then given chocolate brownie or orange and almond cake for dessert (which was an unexpected bonus!) We will definitely be back soon to sample the main menu. The setting is lovely, open and relaxed and would be perfect for families.

Sam Carlisle: We hired Blend to hold a 80th birthday party for around 40 people. While we were arranging, they were always on hand and accommodating to our plans for the day The venue, the food (which the guest raved about) and the staff were all fantastic! Service was friendly and professional - really couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended!

Mike Pupius: An excellent cafe/restaurant. Modern, big and airy with flexible accommodation. They are doing great work as a social enterprise working with under privileged groups Went to an Opera on Location event held there. Vegetarian options: Tasty buffet served for event.

Cheryl Plant: Visited today and had mushrooms on toast. Doesn’t sound that exciting but it was epic. The venue is high quality with lots of thought about how the space used and it is accessibility friendly. Staff are so friendly, making you feel at home whilst maintaining their professionalism. Highly recommend a visit. Well done to the Blend Kitchen Team, you have something very special

Donald Sweeting & Associates: The mission that drives Chris and his team of dedicated and enthusiastic members of staff is nothing short of phenomenal. The work they have done for the communities around Sheffield is worth supporting to the fullest extent.

Dan Beaumont: Brilliant place, with a lovely philosophy and great team that are doing fantastic stuff to help those in need. Oh, and the food is spectacular too. Highly recommend.
John Chapman: See It Be It networking event. Great venue, and a breakfast of Kedgeree, which tasted just as it should do. Definitely some converts from those who had not tried it before. Excellent service as usual.Vegetarian options: Mushroom version of Kedgeree available.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking close by, good access and excellent toilets facilities.
Mary Smith: Fantastic venue! We hosted a coffee morning and it couldn't have gone better. The staff were amazing and made the whole planning process so easy.

George Brewster: Amazing venue with great food, a great mission and amazing staff. Special thanks to Issy for helping us organising a dinner for a corporate away day our team felt very welcome!
Heather Chapman: Fabulous place to eat, drink and relax. Attended the party here. The access is excellent with a nice gentle ramp. Toilets are superb! Paper towels for those that need them, toiletries and sanitation for those that forgot them, and a shelf for your bag while you transfer. Both side and front transfers are clear of clutter. I hear they are sourcing a no touch bin, but the one they have is easy to use for now, even if foot operated, it's lid lifts. Highly recommended to visit.
Kate: We meet every other Tuesday for MeNoPause group. Great sessions of dancing and chatting.
Persefoni Tzanaki: Fantastic place, great food and lovely staff. Everyone was so kind and polite and we had an amazing time! Coffee and food were awesome, full of flavour and a great variety! We also had a 2-year old with us and the high chairs were the cleanest we have ever seen at a restaurant/cafe. Thank you, we'll be back very soon!!!
Chandy Wicks: The food is delicious and reasonably priced and the staff are incredibly inviting and friendly. Would highly recommend!
Barbara Leivang: Lovely food served by warm and friendly staff. Pleasant ambience. Highly recommend it :).

Mark P: We had a great Saturday night. I had a vegan pastilla which was really tasty. Between six of us we covered most of the menu (veggie and meat) and really enjoyed everything! Finished with a perfect affogato. Relaxed environment. Reasonable prices. A place that’s doing good too. What’s not to like? Keep up the great work!

Jas Sidhu: A wonderful culinary experience! I had the three course taster menu, which comes with an accompanying starter platter and a pallette cleanser before dessert. A wonderful array of food with flavours on each dish working together! Would have loved larger portion sizes of course, but it is fine dining! I feel the waiters could have been more engaging. However, overall excellent place! Well worth a visit.

Andy Chubb: We waited many years for a suitable occasion to celebrate here and weren't disappointed. Everything was handled and presented in the most lovely way. The food was a splendid range of tastes and flavours, spread over a very relaxing two hours with a selection of drinks available to complement it. The gluten free options were not a poor substitute but were a high standard themselves.

The Summer House Sheffield: what do users think?

Joanne Milosevich Pepper: It’s magical. Interior design makes it stand out from anything I’ve seen in Sheffield. Takes me away to another place. Staff super friendly. Good excellent. Only wish they’re pack meals like pizza and a pint could come like pizza and a glass of wine or soft drink, a little more flexibility. Will def. Go again though.

O Ozmeister: Great night out with wonderful food, drinks, and atmosphere. Cannot rate the service highly enough from staff who were relaxed, friendly, and gave us plenty of time.

Lucina Kotaiche: Friendly staff, clean restaurant, great food and atmosphere. The coffee tasted incredible and was nice and hot Took a while to get the bill. Will definitely be returning!

Nicholas Hindle: I don’t often write reviews but I though the Summer House deserved one.I took my friends on Sunday to have a Sunday roast, by far one of the best roasts I have had in a long time, everything on the plate had been though about from taste to presentation, if you ever wanted the perfect roast you will find it here. Kid-friendliness: Smart professional staff and welcoming.

Brocco Kitchen: what do users think?

Jo Marshall: What a wonderful meal we had. Probably the best Sunday lunch we have had for a very long time. Great food and great service.

Mary Hawes: Brocco pulled out all the stops and with 8 days notice sorted a sit down wedding reception for my niece. The food was varied and delicious and the staff welcoming and helpful.

Richard Moore: we had a very lovely meal, small plates every ine of which was a delight. My top tip is to order two or three then order another couple, take your time here, the food is great. The staff are really good and k ow their stuff. We ate outside which was fine, they had blankets and small fires . the only sour note was i was chaaeged full price for a half measure of brandy ( they ran out) but you know what we had a great meal and a good time . they are deserving of their michlan mentions

Daniel Ghirtoi: Service was excellent and staff is great, cool to chat and joke with , Laurie make our day playing around with our jokes. Food is ok too.Not a big fan of Sunday roast but is a good one.

rob stokes: Lovely south facing terrace that gets the sun in the morning & the sound of the porter brook. Brunch and coffee very nice.

Mattie Winder: Absolutely lovely! Food was great (we had goats cheese salad and Parma salad - both very generous portions and tasted amazing), staff were excellent and surroundings impressive. Looking forward to going again.
mariam eustathiou: Just an elegant place to dine, with some familiar menu options. Quiet and tasteful dining. Will be coming back!Parking: Make sure you arrive a little earlier as you may be circling round on the side streets for parking if the small parking area at the boutique hotel is full.
Michael Friedrich: Went there on a recommendation by friends. Had my birthday lunch there. Turned out to be fabulous. Portions are small but we did not leave hungry by any means. Would have wished that the service had been more attentive with regard to the accompanying drinks. Still the whole party enjoyed the lunch. Joshua Wren: We had an absolutely lovely meal here the other night! All the dishes were exceptional and beautifully flavoured! Service was immaculate and I personally enjoyed being able to watch the kitchen staff at work. Highly recommend this restaurant! (Only managed to get a photo of the amazing crumble as everything else was rapidly eaten!)
Sophie Rogers: Unfortunately totally underwhelmed. The staff were great and very accepting of us as a family, with disabilities and complexities, but the food was middle of the road at best.Leeks with cheese foam was leeks in a heavy, dense cheese sauce, the sea bass was two overcooked, cold inch square pieces of fish, the venison was tasty but again cold, cheese board was sub-par and just boring - bright spots were the scallops and the truffle popcorn, but really bemused by the recent Michelin write up I'm afraid - had better food on Sharrow Vale :-(
Wagstaff Watches: JUST SUPERB!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ben Cooper: Oh dear! So dreadfully disappointed. From poorly mixed cocktails so crammed full of ice cubes that the cheap cardboard disintegrating straws can't drink them, through to some food that tasted on a par with what you could buy in a supermarket (avoid the pigs in blankets). The service was good. We had an efficient, courteous & attentive waitress but the 'small plates' concept of mixing, sharing food works only if it comes out in a way you can genuinely share. Also, interpretation of classics is to be expected/desired but some options were just pretentious vanity dishes (the crumble is an insult to the dessert)There is clearly skill in the kitchen but for a place of Michellin quality, there was no wow-factor and our whole party was underwhelmed.
Lynda Gray: Just dropped in and really enjoyed our visit, it wasn't what we was expecting but on viewing the menu it was a little confusing but the waitress was very knowledgeable and described the food to perfection. This is a different kind of dining as it is not the quantity that everyone is accustomed to but the quality and taste is absolutely out of this world along with the presentation. We had the four Hunters collection and two sides and that was more than enough for two. The wines are of a good quality with a good selection and the cocktails being of a high standard. Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon.
Gary Kirwan: Good food,friendly and attentive service.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Ryan Jamieson: The staff were brilliant and the food delicious. It was worth the visit. We will be back.
James Booth: Friendly staff, good service and great food. I would definitely recommend Brocco at the Park
George Kiu: 環境很舒服,有多種食物選擇,早餐下午茶都有。
Stephanie Allison: Amazing service and food
O Ozmeister: A very enjoyable meal with family in a lovely environment and good service. It is a little confused though as it doesn't seem to know whether it's tapas or fine dining! It's therefore stuck in the middle and not as good as it could be for either. The food was lovely (especially the (bits of) fillet steak), but the portions too small for a main course, and too un-tapas-like to share. For me, it's quite overpriced as you need 2 mains + sides to make up a decent meal, but a nice experience nonetheless.Kid-friendliness: Not really tailored to children, but a lovely experience for them if they're well behavedParking: All parking in the local area is residents only, Mon to Sat, until 1830
Maddy Rahim-Rasool: Went for the afternoon tea for a colleagues retirement.. the layout was great.. one big table for us all.. a kind of private room.. but the food and drinks were average... Great staff!!
Jamie Roche: A bad Sunday lunch. The food was bland and overall disappointing given the expectation of good reviews and a Michelin recommendation. The roast potatoes were better described as boiled with no crunch whatsoever, the roast pork was dry and overcooked which is shocking given the fat was completely raw and unrendered and as a result no crackling, the stuffing was anaemic with no texture, and finally the gravy had little flavour and weak colour. Overall very disappointing, basic cafeteria food advertised as high end dining. Wouldn’t go again or recommend. Lazy cooking, needs a serious overhaul.

Domo Restaurant: what do users think?

James Sanderson: Starters of bread and Olives with Pesto was divine. Fresh, tasty and perfect start to the evening meal. I was slightly disappointed with my main. For the price I was hoping for a bit more but that might be on me a little for not pushing the boat out... Deserts however, were outstanding! My chocolate fondant with white chocolate centre was divine. Like plate licking good. Would go back for the desert alone but also try a different main

Linda Coleman: Celebrated my birthday here yesterday. What a brilliant place. The food is amazing. Every meal we had was delicious. The portions are large too! All the staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back- so much on the menu to try.

Jocelyn Chan: What a lovely restaurant!!! I thought the main would be small, but turned out they are quite big portions. Food was fantastic, spot on!! Staffs are nice too.I will come again to try different thing next time

Graham Davidson: Completing our anniversary week we headed to wifeys fave restaurant Domo. Staff were awesome and made the effort to interact with our daughter, and they gave us a table away from the busier part of the venue so we could have somewhere for our pram. The food was top quality and service sublime and attentive. Thanks Domo

The crispy duck starter in particular was devine and more like a main! The options were very tasty and good portions. Service was also good and the private dining room made for a fantastic experience for 10. The choice of music didn't exactly add to the ambience (!), but a thoroughly enjoyable experience.Kid-friendliness: There is no children's menuParking: Parking is all on road and it's often very difficult to find a space anywhere close

Starter was asparagus, just omitted the crab to make it veggie but nothing additional appeared to be added. Main was gnocchi which was lovely but guess what, more asparagus! Would have preferred the gnocchi as a starter and something more creative as a main. Deserts were very lovely.Vegetarian options: Lacking creativity but excellent cooking

J G: Juke and Loe was my favourite restaurant when at its previous location so I had high hopes and expectations for the move to Kelham Island. The food is still fantastic, a real treat and is what Juke and Loe does best. The servers were attentive and very swift. However, the restaurant itself seems to have lost its intimacy and warm atmosphere. It was also very cold in actual temperature; we even sat next to a radiator and kept our jackets on. The second issue is the new chairs which are both uncomfortable (hard plastic) and are far to low for the table height. We felt like we were reaching upwards to eat.All in all, glad I went back to support the boys in their new venture, but I won't be returning : it's not the food, it's the rest of the package and not worth my hard earned cash.
Sarah Tadman: Came here for their Sunday lunch. You can do 3 courses for £40 or 2 courses for £36 (I think). Menu rotates and is seasonal I believe, and each course has 3 options to choose from (deserts had 4).I had crispy duck to start, pork belly roast for main and a chocolate thing for dessert. Big portions, rich food and absolutely delicious. Oh we also had bread and a small amuse-bouche to too.Visited Juke and Loe when they were based at their old restaurant on Eccleshall Road, and glad to say service and food is just as good.
Richard Vaughan: First time to the new restaurant, went to the old one, which was very nice, not sure about this one.The food was great last time, unfortunately not so great this time. Didn't have dessert, didn't like any of them. Not for us this time.

Isobel Curry: I was so ready to love Butcher & Catch because of the great reviews but left really disappointed. It took 45 minutes to bring us our two medium rare steaks, one of which was raw and the other was well done but they took so long to come we just ate them. Overall it took us 2 hours to get 2 courses on a Sunday night with a very empty restaurant. Food was very average, high prices did not reflect the quality of the meal at all and the service was pretty slow. I hate when you have to go to the bar to pay because you can’t find your waiter. Sorry Butcher and Catch but wouldn’t go again :/ (also not the staff’s fault but an open kitchen does not work when the chef is shouting orders at the cooks for the whole restaurant to hear, kind of ruins the atmosphere)

Kris Brux: Great restaurant. Great chefs. Great staff. Ellie was fantastic, really enthusiastic and friendly. Had the obligatory white bait nibbles. Scotch egg and cod cheek starters, OMG 💕. For mains succulent pork belly and a sweet chicken burger. Wish i had two stomachs to fit more in. Wide selection of beers, wines and Loxley Gin.Never fail to impress.
Rob Marston: Lovely fish based cookery for my dishes, range of steaks on offer along with limited veggie options. Very good cooking and pleasant staff.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Cod Cheeks, Sticky Toffee Pudding …More

Jake Pettipierre: My new favourite restaurant! Staff were lovely the food was incredible and even the music was great. Would 100% recommend
Joshua Handley: Excellent choice for steak, cooked as requested and seasoned beautifully! The extra onion rings were the best onion rings we ever had, the hendo's BBQ sauce is also a must try here. Hannah served us with a warm, friendly professionalism that was appreciated by us and added an extra dynamic to the service provided.Cannot recommend this place enough and we cannot wait to return!Vegetarian options: Good choice of veggie options if required
Andrew Smith: The roast beef, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and veg were nice but the real star of the show was the gravy. Beefy and just the right consistency plentiful and tasty. There is limited availability on the roast dinners so don't leave your sitting too late and regular menu is much more pricey. The Sticky Toffee Pudding is included in a dessert and coffee offer but it's the only dessert included in the offer. The pudding itself is basic but the sauce is again the star and worth the price of admission on its own.Service is friendly but slow with only two people on the floor serving and seemingly two in the kitchen. Still the food is worth the wait and since it was a Sunday it was not as if I was in a rush.
Tabitha Roach Osborne: We had heard good things about this place, and had been wanting to try it for ages. We were left a little disappointed. The food is expensive but nice, just a bit overpriced for what it was, but the staff were lovely which was a saving grace. Sadly, we both had extremely bad food poisoning all weekend after having the oysters, which we're both still not fully recovered from a few weeks later. On telling the restaurant that we were ill the next day, they just defended themselves and didn't offer us an apology or any money back for the meal, which I thought was in pretty bad taste. I have a friend who is a food quality tester who informed us that with that sort of food poisoning (vibrio) we could have been seriously ill. Needless to say we won't be returning.
Adrián Armas: This is an amazing place. Good ingredients and beautifully cooked. The kids menu has only 3 options, but the food is as good quality as the main menu.Never disappoints.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
CM: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Lauren Jones: Always a good place with a selection of modern dishes to really appeal to your palate. Obviously the restaurant theme is around good pieces of meat and fish but I would love to see a veggie 'special' on the menu each month to rotate around the two other vegetarian options.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, flat open floors and flexible eating spaces.
Amelia Saint: Amazing food and fab cocktailsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kim Smith: Recommended dishes Cod CheeksMore
Sam Thorpe: Really disappointed after expecting big things. My starter (pork belly) was overcooked, and the main was really poor (steak). 2 steaks were bordering on well done when we asked for rare & one Venison steak was blue even though we'd requested Med/rare. Out of 7 of us, 5 said they wouldn't return. The 2 that said the meal was ok, had oysters to start & seafood mains.
Carolyn Whomersley: Good not cheap but very good quality. Popular restaurant.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Sarah: Went on Thursday for a work Christmas meal. The restaurant was freezing and not appropriately heated. The staff couldn't do anything (not their fault) so we sat there in coats and scarves warming hands over the tea light on the table. Food almost all came stone cold. Some parties sent it back. I wish I had because I'm now suffering with food poisoning. Such a shame as the menu makes it look like it will be amazing. I won't be going again though.
Tracey S: Freezing and cold food despite asking both to be heated!Dietary restrictions: Suppose to be gluten free but they have NO bread or crackers!

Silversmiths: what do users think?
Yichen HE: This is an experience in 2019, hope the restaurant gets better. We had lunch at Silversmiths, and we ordered the fish and chips and pastas. However, we waited more than 30 mins for the food, and the pasta was quite salty. Not very pleaseant
Danielle Liversidge: The service from Molly for bottomless bunch has been been absolutely fantastic!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Jennifer Underhay: This restaurant recently opened during the afternoon especially for our small wedding party.Nothing could be faulted. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. We pre selected from a varied menu and everyone said how good their meal was.All in all a very positive experience from the Bucks Fizz on arrival to the toast at the end.Thank you Silversmiths for making a special day even nicer.Jennifer Longstaff (prev Underhay).

darren c: Lovely sunday lunch on a visit to see our daughter at uni, food was great and good value, will definitely be going again! special mention for molly our server who was attentive despite being very busy, thank you
Charlotte Williams: Had a lovely meal with mum and hubby celebrating mothers day. Food was excellent, attention to detail first class and they were very supportive to cater for mums limited mobility. I also liked the payment option, done on a tablet so you can clearly see what you are being asked.
Julie Pigott: Fabulous brunch to celebrate my daughters forthcoming wedding.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Garry Levin: This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. From the quality of the food which was superb, to the staff who were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, to the ambience which was buzzy and lively.I cannot fault this restaurant and would commend it to anyone from, or visiting Sheffield.Dietary restrictions: We chose a gluten free option. Not only were they available but the staff were hugely knowledgeable and helpful.
Debra Haythorne: Good bottomless brunch. Quality of drinks was excellent, service was quick. Food slightly delayed despite being pre-ordered and a bit cold. However, overall a great experience and we would return/recommend.
Jess Hamilton: We had very nice evening spent here, the food is beautiful, the atmosphere friendly and relaxed.Recommended
H Chalmers: It was a nice meal. A few things let the food down. The main one being the sloppy crumble. ☹ But the staff were great and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Jenny Lloyd: Wonderful atmosphere and food. This place really is a treat, and makes any occasion special.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Phil Cooke: Here’s some feedbackStartersCod cheeks, served in a small bowl, so contents are squished in together. That might be a personal preference however it made to hard to enjoy the elements of the dishes properly. Tartare sauce contained silver skin onions, which took away from the dish.Baked onion, under cooked, crunchy, didn’t deliver the slow cooked umami that was expected.MainsCod. Cod was good. Leeks hard and undercooked. Five pieces of artichoke that overwhelmed the dishFillet steak. Two small medallions, lacking enough seasoning for my taste. The bordelaise sauce was shallot heavy. The potato croquette was missing and there was 2 large onion rings, that weren’t expected or mentioned on the menu and really didn’t add anything to the dish. The onion rings, with the smoked onion, with the onion sauce, onion is the dominate flavour. The croquette, when it arrived, had a strong smokey spicey note, maybe chorizo, and was again too strong to compliment the fillet. A glass of wine was offered as compensation for the missing croquette. An attempt was made to feedback the end of the meal, as the person waiting on us noticed the remaining food, however the engagement was cut short.Nice setting and comfortable inside but a restaurant not quite hitting the mark.
Jason Francis: Excellent food and excellent staff. It was quiet when we went, probably because everyone is low on money after Christmas. I had belly pork as a starter which came with a nicely spiced sauce. Lamb for main which was breast plus a chop. The vegetables that came alongside were outstanding.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Michael Jenkinson: Very interesting experience. The food is exquisitely fresh and flavoursome. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about the quality of the food and the drinks. The issue we had was the staff and their dangerously low understanding of the menu. A couple of comments from the staff were questionable e.g. 'You can get fish and chips anywhere'. Even the responses to our questions regarding dietary requirements were unprofessional e.g. 'I think all of the ice-cream is vegan' - as a note, none of the icecream mentioned on the menu was vegan. (When you consider that a 3 course meal and bottle of wine for two people could surpass £100 - this is something I would expect the staff to know).Other than the management needing to train their staff on the complexities of their excellent menu, we cannot fault our experience and would recommend if you are in the area.
