The University of Sheffield: what do users think?

Debarati bhattacharya: Simply Amazing !! English world charm.Great gardens, labs and food 😍 Ppl are quite warm and friendly...Highly recommend 👌

Robert Payne: Great university, next door to a wonderful park & museum. Although the University has improved its biodiversity and green space, the Arts Tower car park is an atrocious blight on the campus and desperately needs renovation into a welcoming green space.

Peter Marosan: It seems a great university, with excellent student union, some tradition and modern building. The connection to the nature (Peak District is in the neighborhood), industrial partners and local community create a vibrant place.

Ogo Maduewesi: I am here on Commonwealth Professional Fellowship at the Clinical Psychology department and simply loving it. I already asked can I please study here?😀 That open elevator at The Art house really fascinated me😀... Just trying to get another snickers for the walks around. A beautiful students environment...I see how my days continues beautifully here...
Naoki Sato: Beautiful place!
Jyothi M: Hi Friends, kindly confirm do they have placement facility for Indian candidates after their MS post graduation.
Nehir Başara: I heard some bad things, I did not have a pleaseant experience.
Patricia Batty: Didn't hate it I have never been there
Evin Aycicek: Like many British universities, they view international students as nothing more than chickens that lay golden eggs. They eagerly accept our money, but when it comes to providing their promises, they fall short. In 2015, I stayed just one day in the Ranmoor dormitory and was promised a refund if I wasn't satisfied within 14 days. But when I expressed my dissatisfaction, they refused to return my £800. It was a blatant disregard for my rights as a student, and it left me feeling angry and betrayed. It's not enough for these institutions to simply take our money; they need to be held accountable for their actions and provide the level of service that they promised on their website.
CM: It's the 7th week and I haven't saw my professor for one of my modules. Also not even one single piece of self-learning material was uploaded by him and no one in the uni seems interested in solving this issue. Meanwhile the students were told to complete a group work without receiving any instructions from the missing professor.Imagining paying £3500 for a module and that's what you got
Sandra Simpson: Am currently working there has night cleaner it's great 👍 and lovely 🙂 people 😊💖💖
ikechukwu opara: Conducive environment for study with top notch learning facilities and lecturers who go extra mile to impact knowledge and capacity to the students.A good international mix up of students . Unity in diversity in practice.Quality Education assured.
Beauchamp Dissident: International Relations Teaching Associate Philip Mayne is negligent beyond belief and someone who was raised poorly. Funnily enough a bully and a r4cist. Otherwise a nice university
Leung Zoe: Think twice before you choose this uni. Their teachers are good, most of them paid a lot of effort in preparing the lectures. However, in the Master Taught Program, they intake LOTS OF STUDENTS who CAN BEARLY SPEAK and WRITE ENGLISH. Don't ask me how can it happen but it has seriously affect the quality of the class and the learning atmosphere.
Tim Foulstone: The University has become a hostile environment to people of certain religions and I no longer think that it agrees with freedom of religion.
Mo Mo: Is there anybody know why law university its off for 5 weeks please
James Smith: Avoid studying engineering here, the way they treat you is despicable. It's impossible to get hold of a student handbook before being a student. You effectively have to sign a blank piece of paper and hope for the best. This allows them to make up the rules up as they go along. The head of departments are corrupt. Do you have money and come from 'the right schools'? You'll get uncapped 3rd and 4th attempts at exams. If you come from a poor background they'll make things as hard as possible, because 'you were never going to succeed anyway'. Did they offer you a scholarship? Good luck getting them to pay out on it. They'll bend over backwards to make a good impression on opendays but don't be fooled, as soon as you start your course everything changes. You'll get to experience your timetable changing with a couple of hours notice. Remember all those student licences they promise you on open days, you only get them if the year group revolts. Tour guides on open days are paid to be there, those that critise the course are never offered these roles.
Davis George: Ranked uni. Well occupied one.
John Merritt: It's an interesting and diverse university with lots going on
vendetta V: students should really participate / pay attention to the running of Students Union so that it can voice your opinion on school policy or serious politics issueDont let certain committees’ personal opinions go over yours
uzochi bright: Read through my ordered prospectus.... excellent place to learn
Tahir Hussain: Very good
Gareth Tidmarsh: Great buildings, came for the architecture, but Sheffield university has a great name
shoun D (Shoun): One of the best in uk

Decathlon Sheffield: what do users think?

Reynald Serneo: Wasn’t planning to buy a bike and I was only looking around. So I approached this gentleman working on the bike services “Olivier” - he was really helpful going through with me what I should have looked for in a bike to use to commute to work via train. Whilst he was servicing the bike his another colleague - “Joseph” was going through with me with the paperwork and registering my bike. I was really pleased and happy that I have purchased this bike with the guidance and assistance of these guys at the bike service station.

Madeleine Davis: Decathlon is a lovely place to buy any and all sporting products, they have an extensive range of gear at competitive prices. The staff are very helpful, and the customer services department is well-managed and very helpful with returns and exchanges. Highly recommend!

Mel S: Went over the weekend for a new paddle board and kayak, Andrew was very helpful in answering all our questions. Also got a fishing start up kit for our little girl. We went over the 1 hour car park limit but the staff sorted this too when we mentioned it. Thanks guys!

Adrian Evans: Mixed feelings about this shop. I have been to bigger and better stores in Europe. The shop only offers a fraction of the goods Decathlon sells. Their own branded goods are great value for money, and well up to the job. Sizing is a little bizarre,I tried on 4 different styles of trousers in the store. There was huge variations in the stated size. So be careful when ordering online.

Mary Kinsella: Visited Decathlon today with my husband. We needed advice on waterproof clothing for our daughter. We were assisted by Connor who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to pass on the information to our daughter overseas and subsequently purchase the most appropriate clothing for the trip she is planning which included jacket, trousers and gaiters

Yanya Wang: I have bought lots of things for my ice land trip. And Connor really offered some thoughtful advice for choosing appropriate clothes, sun glasses and so on. He is patient and nice. I really appreciate him.

lyndsey kiernan: Rang and spoke to Connor to confirm the stock availability. When I arrived I then asked for Connor who spent a significant amount of time with me helping me to understand the options and products. He was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable about the products. Excellent service. Thanks.

Steve Ward: Decathlon caters for all the popular sports & leisure activities. The majority of products are reasonably priced. The staff in the Sheffield store are always helpful & have a good knowledge of their products. 1 hour free parking while shopping in store is a bonus!
Claire S: Really helpful customer service (including Emre organising a return). Happy with products and find that the store is regularly the best place to buy kids' outdoor clothing and equipment.
Adam ATC: Can't complain
Georgi Serafimov: Fast
lanaa lutfi: Free parking for 0-1 hr. Very convenient.
Jackie Banks: Very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend for people who aren't quite sure what they want.
Mike Gee: Not bad layout but the place was like a crèche with several groups of kids running about playing basketball / archery etc, I was just looking for some camping stuff!
Praise Symon: Good Experience
Iza N: Nice staff but small selection of products
Scott Muldoon: Bought a bike from here a few months ago and had a problem with the chain dropping, the mechanics tried to fix it but it didn't work so in they end they did a full upgrade on the chainset free of charge (which would have cost nearly £200). Okay the bike shouldn't have had the problem in the first place but i really can't fault the customer service from the Sheffield store. It's actually the 4th bike we've bought from here and I would definitely go back again 👍
Jon Matthews: Massive selection of products covering lots of sports. There is something for everyone at Decathlon. One of my favourite shops.
Sandeep Govind Uttamchandani: Tyler and Connor provided excellent service. Apologies for the delayed feedback. Infact, everytime I have gone in there, I have had excellent customer service and staff really know the products.
Sophie Middleton: Tyler is an asset to the business at Sheffield. Her customer care was exceptional, she was efficient and friendly. She made our visit to store a happy one, i hope she gets the recognition she deserves as customer service these days is lacking in so many businesses. Thanks again Sophie & Issy.
Damien Brown: Great store and friendly staff! Products seem great quality at a reasonable price.Had everything from bikes to tents, clothes to helmets etc. The store was spotless and well organised!
EBW&NCWA: Large, well stocked shop.
Luke Burras: Great and very helpful staff
Riley Robinson: Staff are really rude and unreasonable
Steven Feeney: They seem to have reduced their line of nutritional products. I can not buy what I need
Vincent Maroney: Vety good
Alessandro Tuorto: Very bad customer service.I have bought some towels and I wanted to pay with klarna as i couldn't afford all the payment in one time .I asked for assistance how to do it and they made me twice payment one with klarna and one taking all the payment through my bank account. They told me don't worry you will get the refund and klarna will take your payment splitted.but nothing .So at the end they closed klarna payment end took the money from my account and now I'm in overdraft.Happy day .Very bad experience.
simon bridges: Always love it, wish there was a store closer to me HD4 🤷
Zoe Burns-Shore: It was great. The person helping was really knowledgeable and helpful.

Crown Hand Tools: what do users think?

Rob 2Fab: Crown tools manufacture a fantastic product and also have first class customer service even though they are rapidly becoming a victim of their own success. As i understand it they are finding it difficult to keep up with the massive demand for their high quality tools. It is, as stated on their website a family run concern with the CEO working on the shop floor and very much hands on, indeed when I called he answered the phone and was covered in oil having been working alongside other workers to get and order completed. This to me speaks volumes. Also willing and keen to adopt the very latest tech into the range of traditional and (pardon the pun) cutting edge tools that they produce. My go to tool for the multitude of turning that i undertake is the revolution hollower as it is fast, precise and also requires little time in the way of sharpening. 5 stars from me, keep up the amazing work and product range :-)

Adrian Spinlove: Crown Hand Tools manufacturers excellent high quality woodturning chisels and their after sales care is amazing.Thank you!!

FLASH LIFESTYLE: Fantastic company manufacturing the worlds finest woodworking /craft tools .

Sheffield Hallam University: what do users think?

Oluwatomiwa Babalola`: An awesome place of higher learning, module leaders are superb in their doings and the academic environment is topnotch. Awesome architectural structures to stimulate your artistic curiosity and the likes. The modules are designed to help you grow not just burden you with mere academic activities and the exposure to state of the art equipment in your field to prepare you for life after your program is mind blowing....

Sankar V G: One of the best university, good facilities, student friendly and many more. Moreover when we talk about the place Sheffield is a very nice to live .

Brandon Cheung: Im not too sure how it compares to other unis but it is super confusing to get around but there are a lot of study spaces.

Mashan Chaudhry: I am also studying at Sheffield Hallam University too and which is one of the best universities in the UK in terms of teaching and courses. As I have completed my foundations in Business And Management and it was a wonderful environment. For suppose if you miss some of the parts of the lecture or forgot to take notes, you can cover the rest from the blackboard of your uni blackboard site such as Shu Blackboard where you can simply enter your Username or password created to access the blackboard and then module sites or you can take workshops which will take place from 5 to 6 pm depending on what time your module a leader is available.
Ulka Chandini Pendit: Good for studying, working, and networking. It has good support for student, staff and community as well.
Julio Zaiat Pèrez: Quien no conoce esta institución.Un referente a todo estudiante.Siempre en la vanguardia y la investigación, no hay mejor sitio y mejores instalaciones. Recomendada.
Alex: Do not work for this organisation, they are so badly organised and inept its unreal! I worked for them for a year and half and they cannot organise anything properly, there are supposed to be schemes to help staff improve but it leads to nowhere and no one knowns what they are doing. They advertise various schemes and purportedly support various social causes but its all just virtue signalling on their side to "show" they support these issues but with no real substance. As a person with Aspegers and sensory issues, I reported that the fire alarms went off on Monday mornings for too long and could they at least reduce the amount of time. Took many weeks and very little communication and for me to actually walk out in anger one morning before they did anything about it. Yet they will put up displays in their main Owen building about Autism and what is etc! Ha, what a joke SHU! You dont care about your staff with Autism and thats blantally apparent. Now I have left and they couldnt even pay me the correct wages and left me without enough money to support myself for the next month when we have a cost of living crisis! They have left me severley short of money because of their ineptitude and incompetence. Its the usual story, no one is accountable, no one is responsible and no one knows what they are doing. All this organisation cares about is money and "box ticking" to appear to make themselves look good in the public eye. Its all pretense and lies!
Sravanthi Dharanipragada: Fantastic faculty and student facilities. Made amazing friends and have great memories with this university.
Kasun Uduporuwa: One of the best universities in UK. They have more facilities in lecture rooms, labs and library. Highly recommended.
Muhammad Hassan: Rediiiculous!
Chris Devoto: Excellent staff 👏Very knowledgeable 👍
Sarbjit Kaur: This University is a totally fraud. After receiving my unconditional offer letter, I paid 3000 GBP as initial deposit to secure my place in the MSc course and requested for CAS in September 2022 for Jan 2023 intake. Post that, I had not received any update from the university and when it was getting late and I started taking follow ups. Finally after multiple follow-ups they said that they can't offer me place in the courses for January 2023 intake and deferred my offer to Sep23 intake which was not possible for me to wait for so long so I requested for refund my deposit. That was the day till now, I have not received my deposit refund from the university. I have been sending mails to their admissions department, but no response received till date. It's hopeless university. I would highly recommend don't go for this. There are plenty of other public reputed universities, but don't consider this university if you don't want to waste your money.
MUSA ABUBAKAR BILYA: It’s one of the best Universities in England with huge population of International Staff and Students. Have cutting edge equipments for R and D. Easily accessible for admission and high ratio of its students graduating successfully. The University is currently witnessing catastrophic expansion, opening more campuses around England including London.Recently, the school has earmarked billions of pounds for this project.
Nageen Masood: Probably the worst academic experience of my life. Do not recommend this university to anyone. You will have much better chances of graduating and landing yourself a solid career by studying at another university. Communication is horrendous, staff don’t have a clue what they are doing, the help team send you round in circles and when you try to chase things up there is no response even though the automated email confirms a response within 5 working days. You pay 11 grand to study at this university and in return receive a shambolic experience. Don’t waste your time - get out while you can.
Sabbir Ebna Razzaque: I am an International student of Sheffield Hallam University. It is a student friendly university.
Nitish Galat: Great location and university students are really helping here
manav bhavsar: Just awesome
Alexander Smith: lots of promises made to get you to join, very very few actually kept, total lack of support, mountains of bureaucracy, 9K a year for a single day in person and the rest online. All complaints are ignored, total lack of respect from upper management towards both students and lecturers. They cannot be trusted and no uni would be better then SHU because you get the same level of education without the debt and total destruction of your will to live.
L Tidbury: Confusing layout with linked buildings that aren't really that separate architecturally.... And let's not get started on the lifts. Seems that their conference offering could and should be better contained, catering disappears at odd times, so unable to use purchased drinks vouchers...
adeoti ibrahim: Lovely to visit
Saran Hemachandran: Great university campus and well maintained and planned university buildings. Fortunate to be a part of this campus.
Sankar V G: One of the best university, good facilities, student friendly and many more. Moreover when we talk about the place Sheffield is a very nice to live .
Summer Jade Dolan: Renegaded on my brother's university offer (illegally - UCAS confirmed this) and haven't replied to his appeal within the time limit given (which is, again, illegal).

Chris Turner: Nice friendly pub . Great staff.

Primark: what do users think?
UnionJack: Lots of homeless, lots of people drinking alcohol on the benches, Sheffield has gone down hill
Dr. H.: Crowded but good!
Joanna Lucja: Primark is always good for quick cheap shopping.
Oluwayemisi Akinleye: Loads of stuff
Raghesh KN: A typical Primark shop
C Moss: This shop is a really big store for Primark but disappointingly doesn't seem to have the variety or levels of stock that other stores have e.g. Meadowhall.I do like that you can use self service tills here though which is really convenient and less queues than for the serviced tills but you can only pay on card at these. Also don't loose or bin your receipt because its needed to exit the self service barriers.
Patricia Barkworth: Lovely got just what we wanted still good
Prince: ملابس متنوعه
Paule Funso: Nice
Ehigwese oseyomon: Affordable goods and lots of varieties
Shaun Burnes: Primark is always good value.
SUZANNE WOOD: Its Primark. Its good. Quality really very good for the price. I bought stuff so it has to be good.Only thing - they have some really nice stuff, but never in my size. I need larger size.Note - Staff are really good here.
David Agbo: You can always find affordable clothing here. Love the new self checkout they have implemented to save time on long queues
raphael bolarinwa: Cheap and nice wears.
FATOKI AYOWALE: Store with most affordable goods
Peter Bradshaw: Very americanised fashion in the men's section, I hated it big time, walked out as soon as I saw it
Jemma Davies: Nice shop. Quite tidy for a primark. Gor what I needed
John Hampshire: Quality at low prices.
Lauren Day: Massive store! Can't wait to go again
