Jo Marshall: What a wonderful meal we had. Probably the best Sunday lunch we have had for a very long time. Great food and great service.
Mary Hawes: Brocco pulled out all the stops and with 8 days notice sorted a sit down wedding reception for my niece. The food was varied and delicious and the staff welcoming and helpful.
Richard Moore: we had a very lovely meal, small plates every ine of which was a delight. My top tip is to order two or three then order another couple, take your time here, the food is great. The staff are really good and k ow their stuff. We ate outside which was fine, they had blankets and small fires . the only sour note was i was chaaeged full price for a half measure of brandy ( they ran out) but you know what we had a great meal and a good time . they are deserving of their michlan mentions
Daniel Ghirtoi: Service was excellent and staff is great, cool to chat and joke with , Laurie make our day playing around with our jokes. Food is ok too.Not a big fan of Sunday roast but is a good one.
rob stokes: Lovely south facing terrace that gets the sun in the morning & the sound of the porter brook. Brunch and coffee very nice.

Guy Hudson: A excellent experience with wonderful food, well prepared and presented. Great customer service by the students and watched over by the tutors. The staff were especially outstanding and friendly, a real indictment for the teaching model of restaurant. Really good value with 3 courses for lunch being only 11 pounds a head. We brought our baby with us and found the restaurant to be baby friendly as well as breast feeding positive. The toilets were clean and well maintained and the whole of the restaurant is wheelchair accessible and friendly. It is a requirement to book and arrive as close to 12 midday as possible for the lunch but even with a rotating set silver service menu, I would heartily recommend the Silver Platter.
Lball playz: The silver plate is a great place to go for a high standard meal. The staff are very polite and friendly. Open to answer any questions about the food and are very approachable. great experience overall.
Andy Mace: Very nice experience with good staff. The food however is nowhere near as good as 3 years ago. Christmas lunch was a disappointment, particularly the main course when no roast potatoes or boiled potatoes served. Went home hungry.
Lyuba Herbert: Excellent quality food. Most of the dishes are very inventive and a treat to the taste buds. The hospitality students who serve the tables are ever so nice and trying to achieve their best. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. Add to this the very competitive pricing. A visit to The Silver Plate is always a treat.

Jessie Chien: Interesting fish n chips. The lamb would be the only meal I recommend. Dessert flavor is too fresh and light. The price is average. Overall, I will not visit again even though the deco is quite nice.
Ivan: The food is decent for the price and the service was amazing. I found the flavor of curry powder in the chicken terrine a bit overwhelming and the Yorkshire pudding was too greasy to eat with the roast beef.
Christopher Blackburn: Hidden on a stunning little back street in the centre of Sheffield you’ll find that the service and ambiance at Silversmiths’s is absolutely fantastic. The food is equally as impressive and whilst I’d suggest some of the dishes are a tad confused and potentially dictated by a chef who likes to utilise fancy gadgets, the actual component parts of the meal are exceptional. The highlight for me was dessert. A stunningly well crafted and well thought out dish! Certainly worth a visit! Recommended.
Lloyd Sharman: Very poor visited last week for my birthday meal. Been numerous times before and was pleased. so was confident of a good meal. Very disappointed on this occasion never asked how the steaks wanted cooking which goes hand in hand wherever you go. Luke warm food too and an attitude from the Manager:-((. Did get a substantial refund but would rather have had a meal like we’ve had on previous visits
Rob Hughes: Quite a frustrating experience. There are clearly some talented chefs but everything else was unfortunately quite poor and all totally avoidable. No one to greet us when we arrived, tables way too close to each other so we were part of three conversations the whole evening, Saturday night at 7.30 and they had run out of steak, served the wrong drinks, our neighbours served the wrong food, bar staff constantly on their phones and shouting across the restaurant. Food was tasty and cocktails were great. Everything negative could be rectified with some training and a sharpened attitude
Simon Taylor: Had the beef Sunday lunch with a cured salmon starter as a last minute walk in. Couldn’t fault anything apart from the Yorkshire pudding that was truly rock hard. Home cooked but left too long. I didn’t find it expensive and all prices clearly shown. If they were to cook their yorkshires whilst getting the starter ready that wouldn’t be a problem.

Imogen Bennett: Amazing experience. All dishes were exceptional. Relaxed approach without being too informal. Staff were super friendly and decor and layout felt intimate and cosy without being cramped. Absolutely loved it! A must try for any food enthusiast.
lee eusman: I have a large appetite and this place would not normally be my choice of place to go,this however was a special occasion so made the sacrifice and went along.to be fair everything was absolutely amazing,each course was an adventure that was packed full of surprises and each and every course was enjoyed by the whole table. Kathy Barnes: Some really fantastic dishes- intense flavours, enjoyed the drinks pairings. Service was organised perfectly so each of the many courses arrived with not too long or short gaps. I felt some of the waiting staff could have been more friendly and welcoming. But altogether a very special and memorable experience.

Shannon Baxendale: Had an absolutely amazing night at cutlery works tonight. Absolutely love how you can order from multiple different places so there is something for everybody. Ordered a burger and chicken strips from jail bird which were absolutely incredible and fantastic cocktails from bullion. Had an absolutely lovely waitress named Lizzie that only added to the wonderful night we had. (Edit) We have visited plenty of times now and absolutely love everything at cutlery works from the food choice and quality to the service from the friendly staff :) ordered from the bar, Jail bird and the Chinese vendor and everything was fantastic. Never disappointed and will always recommend and come back. Once again Lizzie was an awesome waitress and made us feel very welcome :)
Giuliano Fontanelli (StudioTekne): Food is a little expensive. But quality well above the average. Lovely atmosphere to eat properly "anything inspire you to have today!". Pizza starts from 12 am. I had a really good one. Amazing drinks. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian are of course taken in care and plenty of options Kid-friendliness: Many families with kids were having their quality meal. Wheelchair accessibility: The build has access to the ground floor easily and possibility to go to the first floor , to access to other Asian kitchens, with a lift.
Anne dB: Great range of food, all arrived pretty quickly, great that can use points to get some pennies off the next order, risk of over spending as tempting to by dishes from many vendors! Atmosphere is busy/noisy, casual and party-like which we expected so no issues. Was quite busy so booked ahead but there were several benches that were free. Pizza was lovely and fresh, sushi neat and tasty, tacos full of flavour (although I felt could have done with slightly less halloumi) and nicely presented, fried rice/tofu/gyoza really tasty, Korean fried cauliflower and pork really tasty too. Would definitely return, especially to try food from the other vendors.

Shahid Farooq: I love the concept of lots of different places / types of food, to choose from for dining in and using the same app to order from them, makes it much more enjoyable for a big group with varying tastes. Been here a few times now and service is always good and the food from Ma-Ba was excellent.
Anirudh Kumar: Have visited Cutlery Works several times, but this was the first time since several vendors have changed. Parking and access was quite easy, tables were clean and service was friendly and efficient. We got several dishes from Pellizco, an award-winning Mexican joint I had heard about before. Their Birria tacos were incredible and exactly how I expected them to be! Have had drinks from Gongcha and food from Jailbird Fried Chicken before, which have been pretty tasty. Would well recommend as a food hall in Sheffield and South Yorkshire!
