Xiao Mei: This morning, I saw employees of this disgusting centre harass and call the police on a poor homeless man who was trying to sleep nearby. The staff were extremely rude, particularly the lady who was shouting obscenities and touting how much better she was than the homeless man because she 'worked for a living'. I am so disgusted and shocked that people working in healthcare would have such an extreme lack of compassion and empathy for society's most struggling and disadvantaged people. It is truly disgusting how they made absolutely no effort to help the man, only to get rid of him by the force of four police officers. This man normally sleeps near my building but I imagine the wind tunnel effect forced him to move near the centre where he could shelter himself better and the employees decided the best course of action was have the police come and arrest him or at the very least put him through the ordeal of being tied up and dehumanise an already struggling person.I hope you people feel so proud of yourselves. You disgust me.

Mona Alzant: They are dishonest, they put misleading information on their website. they claim their cost is 20% lower than others. however they are higher than others but you will not know until you pay for your consultation. the CT scan I have done was inaccurate. I have to repeated again in other clinic. When I complaint. they didn't reply to my email. very disappointed

pooley999: Intentionally deceptive dentist. Went in for a check up, he told me I needed a massive filling and a crown, showed me an X-ray saying I had bad decay below a filling. Went to another dentist 2 days later, he said the shadowing is padding NOT decay, I didn't need a crown and she could fill it for me now. My teeth have been fine ever since. Don't go here

Sonny: Came here with a swollen gum, was told I need a new crown, spent 850 quid on it and got it done. Was told that the swelling should go down. A week after it was still swollen, tried to see the dentist about it and they wanted to make me pay to see him which is basically post procedure thing, thankfully managed to see him. He told me that it’s a hygiene thing (gum gets worse after flossing, brushing, but gets better if I don’t touch my mouth)So a couple months have passed and what we have in the end - I’m 850 quid poorer, the crown doesn’t feel like my tooth at all and the problem I came there with still here and gotten worse.But staff is friendly at least :)

Uj Uj: I am so happy with the whole team working at Portman dental clinic! I have closer dentists, but had very bad experience with them. Portman is worth the travel. The receptionists are friendly and welcoming. I saw Dr Khan for the initial consultation and he was very respectful, clear and honest. He didn't try to sell me the highest treatment, he advised me what was the best option for my teeth. And the hygienist, I believe her name is Lucy, has been amazing with me. So professional and respectful. The assistants also help make me feel at ease every time. I've never been to the dentist feeling so well taken care of and safe. There seems to be a real ethos in preventative dentistry and helping patients to conserve original tooth material / teeth.The dental hygienist service is also excellent, usually performed via an ultrasound type probe, though on the last couple of visits they've had to use manual picks due to Covid measures.I would definitely recommend Flint and Flint for anyone looking for a private dentist / hygienist in Sheffield.

From start to finish I have been treated with such kindness, which was particularly nice after my previous harrowing experience with another dentist (who was also private, not NHS).I had an extraction here, then an implant (all under IV sedation which I'd highly recommend and is not expensive at all).From the reception staff to the hygienists to the dentists and implant specialists, I could not fault anything. I had a tooth that I had been unhappy with for several years and had recently visited another private dentist who gave me one option and I went ahead only to be very disappointed with the outcome. I then visited Abdul Azizi who talked my through all the options available and we agreed on the best option. I decided on a crown and I am extremely pleased with the results, my family say it looks amazing and I feel so much more confident in smiling and having my photo taken now, thank you. The clinic itself is so relaxing and you feel like you are in a hotel reception not in a clinical environment at all which is perfect if, like me you are a little anxious when going to the dentist. I cannot recommend Doctor Azizi and his team enough. Every filling and injection was 100% pain free. I was never the biggest fan of the dentist but now I actually enjoy going! Richard Thomas: I have had a severe phobia of dentistry and visiting the dentist for over 38 years now. Mainly due to bad experiences when we lived abroad when I wes younger. Due to this fear I have not been to a dentist other than for two emergency extractions in 38 years. I contacted Harley dental and after an initial examination and a good informed chat to Dr Naghieh I felt confident enough to undertake treatment. I have already had root canal work to a front tooth, and I must say that during the procedure I was made to feel completely relaxed, at ease and in good hands, the procedure/surgery took just under an hour and I honesty felt no pain. A little uncomfortable having my mouth open for an hour, but nothing untoward. I am booked in for more work next month, and I now have no fear of attending. I was admittedly a little sore for a couple of days after, but only had to take paracetamol.. All in all Harley dental and Dr Naghieh have given me the confidence to attend the dentist and I would highly recommend them to anyone, whether they have a phobia or not.

Instead Dr Tinn managed to save my tooth and did a great job with a much improved new crown. Not sure going to the dentist is ever enjoyable but the results are great.Also big up to Dr Butt who did the reroot canals who is an absolute genius.

I have been looking for a dentist for 7 years straight, I have been private all over the UK, From Brighton, Cambridge, Oxford, London then Sheffield and this has been one of the best experiences I had. I do have one endodontist in London too but I could never find a Dentist. Harley saved me a trip that I was going to make to Tokyo to receive proper dental treatment for my specified complicated problems. I now have a dentist/dentists that took great care of all the oral issues I had been experiencing for years and it even saved me my mental health issues that were derived from my oral pain. They listened to everything i had to say and understood quickly what areas exactly that I needed to look into and solved my issues by taking matters into hands, it was so incredibly professional; it has restored my faith again. Also to mention, everyone here makes you feel both welcome and at ease.In terms of my treatment, Dr. Abdul Azizi had first made sure to listen to the expectations that I had for when I reach the end of my treatment. After this he had talked me through my treatment plan step by step so that I was fully aware of everything that he was going to do to my teeth. Once he completed my treatment, he had also gave me the option to make any additional changes to the work done on my teeth, which was appreciated as many dentists don't do this for their patients, though there weren't really any changes that I needed to make as his work is exceptional and you can definitely tell that he does put a lot of attention to detail in his work. Overall I am extremely happy with the service that I have received.

lally lalla: I had a really bad experience with the lady who did the teeth cleaning. She seemed to be intollerant and indisponent, maybe because of my skin colour or my facial feautures. After she has done with the treatment she didn't even greet me as it must happen with everyone I guess. She treated me as trash and she made feel so selfconscious and insecure, that even though it has passed several months since then I am still afraid to go to the dentist for the fear to be judged. Really awful experience and unprofessional dentist, maybe a little bit racist. Never again!

I ended up going to GHB for an emergency appointment after some trouble with a wisdom tooth left me in considerable amounts of pain. Sat was very calming and patient and was able to sort me out that day. I've since been back to register as a new patient and more recently for some dental work. I don't think I'll ever enjoy going to the dentist, but finding someone who I can completely trust is at least making me comfortable going for regular check ups again.

becky dodd: I had a hygienist appointment on Thursday 18th of May. I have since emailed the practice, and not received a reply, hence posting here.I have struggled with severe mental health issues and, as such, have neglected dental care. I have made this clear on my notes, and my dentist, Tom, has been fully understanding. The hygienist however, is a different story.She was dismissive, rude, and berating from the outset. Throughout the entire appointment I was lectured, and berated about the state of my teeth.She either didn't read my notes, or didn't care. Either way, I left the practice and cried. It is not an easy process to come back from depression, and I am seriously considering changing practices. A, due to her behaviour, and B, my feedback (sent on thursday) being ignored by the practice.

As a patient who suffers from mental health problems I never felt as though I was a burden or they were rushing me, they were ever so patient with me and for that I will be forever grateful.I have had to have a few procedures done with the hygienist and various other appointments and I have been attending 180 dental for 12 months now.My latest appointment was with Sherif Elbarbary, I have had a new upper denture made and fitted and every appointment I have attended, I have felt safe, at ease and welcomed warmly every time.When I attended my appt for my denture fit I couldn’t look in the mirror at first, I couldn’t quite believe that I had made it this far it was so overwhelming for me and not once did I feel rushed or embarrassed for getting so upset.Sherif worked with me every step of the way and was so thorough and patient, the dental nurse who accompanied him was second to none, she is kind, gentle and always there to hold your hand and put your mind at rest if needed.Sherif Elbarbary has saved my life, and that is a fact. Janis Leslie: The dentist's are excellent, pity about the Practice Manager. Last week I had a filling which unfortunately fell out less than 12 hrs later during the night. I'd paid £65 and needed an urgent appointment next morning as my tooth was painful, I couldn't chew or drink anything hot or cold and the large hole in my tooth was open to infection. My usual dentist was away until this week and the Practice Manager insisted that I had to pay £65 again to see another dentist.She needs to read the terms on the NHS dental care plan. I suffered a very uncomfortable week thanks to her incompetence! Fortunately, my usual dentist who repaired the filling on his returnknew better!
