Caroline Moffatt: Absolutely amazing with my westie who had pulmonary fibrosis and a tumour on his heart, when his time came to let him go over the rainbow bridge he was sedated first and we were pit in a lovely family room to spend another hour with him before he passed away piecfully, staff are so compassnate, we brought our baby boy home
Ben: All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Mike the vet was extremely knowledgeable and caring for my cat who we unfortunately had put to sleep. Dealt with swiftly and professionally, would highly recommend.

Rob: Fantastic place. Came in as an emergency in the middle of the night. Reception and Nurses couldn't do enough and we're really lovely and the vet popped out mid surgery to check over my cat to make sure she'd be OK while we waited for him to finish. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. I've taken pets to other vets recently such as The Pet Vet in Rotherham and Vets 4 Pets and not received service half this good.

Jane Wainwright: We have been with the practice for numerous years after being with a different vet and being told our cat needed eye surgery and was referred here to Peak Vets. We decided to then change to this practice even though we live at the other end of town as the quality of service and treatment was so good. Also the fact that a whole manner of services are provided here in house and what I class as a "1 stop shop" was appealing. We have another cat now and are still finding the level of care and service to be really good.
Robert Armitage: The staff are really good. Super friendly they have looked after both of my dogs. I rate them very highly I will always use them and recommend anyone who needs treatment for there pets

Lee Baxter: Lovely, talented vets and staff. But parking can be a nightmare even though they have a large car park (that the whole neighbourhood seems to park in). And the reception desk seem to prioritise ringing phones over customers stood in front of them. So great place just avoid at busy times.

James Kirk: This is a lovely, friendly practice that really do their best for both the animals and clients. We did have a small issue regarding the refund policy. But this was all sorted out promptly and professionally. Sadly, our little Roady didn't make it. But Peak vets have been compassionate and caring throughout.

Kathryn Cutts: Very caring lady vet I saw this week, she took time to stroke and talk to our staffie dog, having rescued him we weren't sure how he would behave. She put him at ease, he enjoyed his visit as he didn't want to leave !

Kelly Greasby: Well where do I start, I had to make the most difficult decision of my life and say goodbye to my 11 year old chocolate bear Duke just over 4 weeks ago. Duke was my best pal, my companion, my world and I miss him so so much. Every day gets harder without my best friend by my side. After finding the travelling vet company I knew the time was right. The day I had to say goodbye absolutely broke me, the 2 ladies that came out (Morwenna & Jane) was excellent, they showed so much empathy and gave me as much time as I needed with my baby. They was very professional and informed me of every action they ware taking. I am forever grateful and forever thankful for for way they have treated me, my family and most importantly my beautiful boy Duke. The way you was with me that day I will never forget, you showed me that there is some lovely people in this world, I am so grateful for everything you both did for us and I will never forget it. I would highly recommend and trust The Travelling Vet 100% with the care and compassion for pets. Absolutely lovely ladies 🐻🐾

louise cryan: This is a review of a fantastic service that was given to us by the travelling vet ladies that came to us to help say goodbye to our beloved board terrier Enzo. He had tried so hard to stay with us but it overwhelmed him eventually. The vet and nurse that came out we’re amazing and compassionate even though we had not used them before that didn’t matter to them. This was in back in January and having recommended them to my neighbour for his cat this week realised that I had not left them a review. I would to thank them dearly for their amazing service. Kate Sztykiel: Unfortunately our 14 year old dog had struggled enough and we knew that however hard it was for us as a family, the time had come to let her go. To make it easier for her we booked the travelling vet who came and were so caring to lily and us and so sympathetic it made things as easy and respectful as we could have wished for. Would definitely recommend.
John Wainwright: Finding the Travelling Vet was a godsend to us and our beautiful Golden Retriever Honey, our only regret is we didnt find them sooner. To be able to have a vet come to our home, saved our little honey from the huge amount of stress it used to cause her travelling in the car and then getting her into the vetinary practice. All we had to do was make simple phone call and the appointment was made and they were here . Nothing was ever too much trouble they were unbelievably gentle and kind with Honey who was an old lady. Unfortunately, Honey was coming to the end of her life and they made her passing so peaceful and respectful to her and us as a famiy. They explained the process and gave us time with Honey before and after her passing.They alowed Honey to pass with dignity. We cannot express how grateful we are to them for the way they dealt with this. We are truley devastated at losing our beautiful little girl but The Travelling vets and their team were our angels at this sad time . We will always wave their flag John Gail and Jack
Lynn Morris: We had to say goodbye to our cat Ginge on 31/08/2022. Charlotte and Jane came to our home to ease him away. No stress, strange surroundings/noise etc.for Ginge - just a peaceful end on his favourite blanket & sofa. They were very professional and compassionate. Many thanks to you for making a very sad time less stressful than it otherwise would have been. I would recommend you consider their services at the end of your companions life, even if you already have a Vet you use.

We trust them completely to always do what is in our pets best interests, even when that involves supporting us to make difficult decisions.

The service they give is second to none & I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to friends & family. The vet nurses are kind & caring & that makes such a difference to us.

Katie Hawthorne: I'm consistently impressed by how this veterinary centre handles my hamsters. The vets clearly are experienced and knowledgeable with small animals, which isn't always a given based on experiences elsewhere. They are very good at keeping the hamsters' stress to a minimum during the consultation which is so important to stress prone animals. The bill is also always a lot cheaper than I expect!

Katie Moon: Several of the reception staff and one if the vets were pretty rude at this place, with poor customer service skills. The vets seem to be different each time with no consistency. They prioritised money over our old dogs options and we felt she would have had a better chance if we had been better informed of wider options sooner. The senior vet was good but overall I would not trust this service again with my pets health.

What a lot of people do not realise is there a charity all donations go on medication to help other animals if people don't like it I suggest they stop complaining and use a none charitable vets were you pay 48 pound just to see the vets before they treat and then charge another amount for treatment plus if u need to take your pets back just for a check up it's 40 pound just for a checkup if you dont want to use the pdsa but cannot afford a none charitable vets don't get a pet are stop complaing

Or I could hand him over to a rescue that are overrun with lockdown pets and bursting at the seems!I am on a low income due to circumstances beyond my control and my dog has to suffer the consequences of that!I am not a regular user of the pdsa, in fact I’ve used them probably 3 times in about 5 years and have made a contribution each time!I have tried my hardest to treat my dog with products I have bought and therefore have tried to avoid using this service at all, I am absolutely disgusted in the attitude of leaving an animal to suffer!

The situation with my sisters cat esculated quickly, from me calling in a morning to discuss options for when the time came, to that late afternoon the time coming unexpectedly and me calling to say could he come. Which he did. It was a sunny day and we said our goodbyes in the garden which Rob was more than happy to facilitate. He was patient kind and caring and made what is a awful time a lot less awful for us. Very compassionate and understanding, nothing was to much trouble. Thankyou so much Rob. - Kirsty
Lindsey Taylor: It was without doubt the hardest decision I’ve ever made to let my little girl go before there was no choice, to be at home surrounded by her family,. Rob the vet was perfect from the first text to the return of Belle’s ashes, I found it comforting to have his quiet presence nearby but also without the ugly intrusion of a clinic and vet. When the time comes to say goodbye to my other elderly dog I won’t give a second thought to using Robs service for me there is no longer another option

Paul Betsworth: We recently had our dog looked at one evening ,on arrival the vet never introduced himself .which wasn't a major problem but his further actions or the lack of to the animal and to my distraught wife , and poor advice was.He told us we would have to attend that evening swift referrals in Leeds, 1st mistake it's in weathby. Then proceed to go on and on about the cost and it would be a maximum amount of £5,000. 2nd mistake it exceeds that by £3,000.Then issued us with a rout planner wich was in accurate.Overall the experience at that practice was very poor.Even when I expressed my concerns to one of the managers .she never asked about the progress of our dog.Needlessly to say we still received an invoice , and while we were considering payment and awaiting communication from them as instructed. Of wich we still are .they sent a threatening reminder .say payment or action by their debt recovers.We have reluctantly paid the invoice .
