Haven Estates & Management LTD: what do users think?

Laércia Fonseca (ChocolatFASH): I’ve been a Haven Estates & Management tenant since 2016, this is my 2nd property with them. The letting process is simple, easy, quick and a lower price range, comparing to other estates agencies in Sheffield. Another positive is that the agency are bilingual, which also helps with foreigners. I really recommend the service

Alastair Munro: Very professional and honest. Rented a property through them and Taz was always available to help. We were good tenants and there were no issues with getting our deposit returned. Highly recommended.

Doc H. Aziz: Very friendly, professional and helpful in every aspect. Wanted to rent an accommodation suitable for cats. Haven estates found me the perfect house.

Felly Hills: Excellent Service, quick response to an emergency i had after a last minute let down by another letting estate.Nice and good people/workers, i will definately recommend Haven Estate a place to go when you are in desperate need.Thank you

Merban Younis: Excellent place to work and excellent services available

The University of Sheffield: what do users think?

Debarati bhattacharya: Simply Amazing !! English world charm.Great gardens, labs and food 😍 Ppl are quite warm and friendly...Highly recommend 👌

Robert Payne: Great university, next door to a wonderful park & museum. Although the University has improved its biodiversity and green space, the Arts Tower car park is an atrocious blight on the campus and desperately needs renovation into a welcoming green space.

Peter Marosan: It seems a great university, with excellent student union, some tradition and modern building. The connection to the nature (Peak District is in the neighborhood), industrial partners and local community create a vibrant place.

Ogo Maduewesi: I am here on Commonwealth Professional Fellowship at the Clinical Psychology department and simply loving it. I already asked can I please study here?😀 That open elevator at The Art house really fascinated me😀... Just trying to get another snickers for the walks around. A beautiful students environment...I see how my days continues beautifully here...
Naoki Sato: Beautiful place!
Jyothi M: Hi Friends, kindly confirm do they have placement facility for Indian candidates after their MS post graduation.
Nehir Başara: I heard some bad things, I did not have a pleaseant experience.
Patricia Batty: Didn't hate it I have never been there
Evin Aycicek: Like many British universities, they view international students as nothing more than chickens that lay golden eggs. They eagerly accept our money, but when it comes to providing their promises, they fall short. In 2015, I stayed just one day in the Ranmoor dormitory and was promised a refund if I wasn't satisfied within 14 days. But when I expressed my dissatisfaction, they refused to return my £800. It was a blatant disregard for my rights as a student, and it left me feeling angry and betrayed. It's not enough for these institutions to simply take our money; they need to be held accountable for their actions and provide the level of service that they promised on their website.
CM: It's the 7th week and I haven't saw my professor for one of my modules. Also not even one single piece of self-learning material was uploaded by him and no one in the uni seems interested in solving this issue. Meanwhile the students were told to complete a group work without receiving any instructions from the missing professor.Imagining paying £3500 for a module and that's what you got
Sandra Simpson: Am currently working there has night cleaner it's great 👍 and lovely 🙂 people 😊💖💖
ikechukwu opara: Conducive environment for study with top notch learning facilities and lecturers who go extra mile to impact knowledge and capacity to the students.A good international mix up of students . Unity in diversity in practice.Quality Education assured.
Beauchamp Dissident: International Relations Teaching Associate Philip Mayne is negligent beyond belief and someone who was raised poorly. Funnily enough a bully and a r4cist. Otherwise a nice university
Leung Zoe: Think twice before you choose this uni. Their teachers are good, most of them paid a lot of effort in preparing the lectures. However, in the Master Taught Program, they intake LOTS OF STUDENTS who CAN BEARLY SPEAK and WRITE ENGLISH. Don't ask me how can it happen but it has seriously affect the quality of the class and the learning atmosphere.
Tim Foulstone: The University has become a hostile environment to people of certain religions and I no longer think that it agrees with freedom of religion.
Mo Mo: Is there anybody know why law university its off for 5 weeks please
James Smith: Avoid studying engineering here, the way they treat you is despicable. It's impossible to get hold of a student handbook before being a student. You effectively have to sign a blank piece of paper and hope for the best. This allows them to make up the rules up as they go along. The head of departments are corrupt. Do you have money and come from 'the right schools'? You'll get uncapped 3rd and 4th attempts at exams. If you come from a poor background they'll make things as hard as possible, because 'you were never going to succeed anyway'. Did they offer you a scholarship? Good luck getting them to pay out on it. They'll bend over backwards to make a good impression on opendays but don't be fooled, as soon as you start your course everything changes. You'll get to experience your timetable changing with a couple of hours notice. Remember all those student licences they promise you on open days, you only get them if the year group revolts. Tour guides on open days are paid to be there, those that critise the course are never offered these roles.
Davis George: Ranked uni. Well occupied one.
John Merritt: It's an interesting and diverse university with lots going on
vendetta V: students should really participate / pay attention to the running of Students Union so that it can voice your opinion on school policy or serious politics issueDont let certain committees’ personal opinions go over yours
uzochi bright: Read through my ordered prospectus.... excellent place to learn
Tahir Hussain: Very good
Gareth Tidmarsh: Great buildings, came for the architecture, but Sheffield university has a great name
shoun D (Shoun): One of the best in uk

Shefflets: what do users think?

James Ellis: An absolutely fantastic service throughout. As a tenant Shefflets staff have helped me move in from start to finish and the process was seamless. Highly recommend their services and professionalism.

Jason Coll: Fantastic got my new home to rent sorted with in a few days.Very friendly clear communication and was so easy to deal with.I strongly recommend Sheffletts.

Trevor Pickering: Shefflets have managed my property since 2010 during which time it has been continuously let with minimal void times between tenancies. All legal and letting processes are done properly and by the book including: Referencing; Deposit Protection; Inventory; end of tenancy checkouts and as a result I have never had a problem with a tenancy. All of the team at Shefflets are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. In summary (and I am not easy to please) these guys are the Rolls Royce of Letting Agencies, they set the standards that others should aspire to!

Jamie Strachan: As a landlord I have used Shefflets to let and mange my property for a number of years. I have found them to very strong and professional in terms of securing and documenting lettings in a timely manner. In terms of property management we had a series of discussions at the outset to establish our respective requirements and expecations; since then I have found them to be speedy and responsive in reacting to tenant issues, and seeking my authority to necessary expenditure. I want my tenants to receive good customer service from Shefflets, as I want my good tenants to stay for the long term - this strategy has proved successful, with Shefflets playing its part.

Gemma Dakin: Shefflets have been amazing to deal with from viewing properties to renting from them as we currently have been since August 2020. Nothing is too much trouble and they manage to solve any issue quickly and efficiently. They are kind and professional and we couldn’t ask for a better letting agency.

Dominika Tkacova: Hope and Shefflets were incredible at helping us move to our new home! The process was extremely simple and easy with everything being sorted in the matter of a week or so! Hope was also there to answer any questions we had. We would give 10/10 to Shefflets for such good service!

Z Dai: As a foreigner who has been in rent in the UK in the last ten years, lived in a number of cities, has been with various agents and has been with Shefflets for more than three years, I would say they are undoubtedly the best. Everyone there is nice, professional, efficient and supportive. Most importantly, they manage the property well, never give you any hassles on inspection or fees, and always act promptly when you need them. I am about to start another new tenancy with them and can’t wait for it. Highly recommend!!!!
Kevin Reynaud: Amazing agents!! 🤩Always responding promptly to any queries and 100% here for the tenants!Thank you !!!
Peter Matt: Excellent service! Everything went really smoothly, Hope is amazing and super helpful :)EDIT: after one year renting with Shefflets I can say they are the best at what they do, amazing communication and support. All maintenance issues reported were sorted very quickly. We are really sad to leave you guys :(For those of looking to rent, choose Shefflets. Always.
Matthew Taylor: Rented a house with Shefflets for a year. Didn't tell us about an ongoing rodent issue in the house, and failed to fix the issue while we lived there. As we did a video viewing, we weren't shown the rat traps throughout the property. Swarms of flies in the house all summer due to rodent carcasses in the wall cavities. Ended up having to request a fly killer in the kitchen as they (and landlord) were not prepared to find a more thorough solution. Absolutely abysmal communications, emails frequently not responded to. Took 2 weeks to send someone out for a broken boiler in winter. They tried to apply a £140 cleaning fee for a spotless property on move out (DPS gave us most of it back after evidence was presented). Another cog in the broken rental system in the UK, fluffing landlords and treating tenants like dirt. A quick glance over other reviews will show you the difference between how landlords and tenants feel about their service.
aby tho: Never ever rent house from these guys, they are alright in the beginning, once you want to move out from the house, they will charge the money for unwanted reasons, and the staffs are rude they never reply to your emails and calls, worst experience
David Godden: I will largely repeat my review of 12 months ago- as Shefflets has recently demonstrated a proactive approach, and arranged renewal of my agreement with my existing tenants.I have used Shefflets to let and mange my property for a number of years. I have found them to very strong and professional in terms of securing and documenting lettings in a timely manner. In terms of property management we had a series of discussions at the outset to establish our respective requirements and expectations; since then I have found them to be speedy and responsive in reacting to tenant issues.
Cammy Nemu: Great estate agents, nice to talk to, easy and fast means of getting fixes in for any issues
Josephine Panton: Unfortunately my partner & I were treated very unprofessionally by shefflets. They definitely do not make their customers feel like customers. After putting down a holding deposit on one of their rental properties we were made to jump through absurd hoops and 'tick boxes' causing us to fail referencing. Despite having 3 guarantors who all covered their tenants share of the rent, and together covered 3x the rent, shefflets demanded each tenant have a guarantor who each covers the cost of the whole property...no other estate agent I have dealt with has asked for this!During this whole process we were constantly left waiting and shefflets would make one promise via the phone and then go back on their word on a later call. However, they did have time to call us to complain about how long our referees were taking to get back. Even though it had only been 1 day! Referencing is allowed to take upto a week.I had an awful call from one of their team who almost shouted and threatened me on the phone. I have never before ended a phone call with an estate agent making me cry. Can you get anymore unprofessional?!After having to explain to them that: A.We cover the rent if they took our student loan into consideration, B.Our guarantors cover their half the rent, C.We can move in immediately to a property they have failed to let for nearly 2 months...this still was not good enough. The landlord originally offered us the property for 925 but we were applying for it at 950 and now it is on the market AGAIN for 900, begs the question why they couldn't lower it to 925 or 900 for us originally so we wouldn't fail their referencing and we would have moved in by now.I know estate agents have a bad reputation for just wanting the least work, the most money, as quickly as possible, but I'm sad these guys lived up to that. Luckily we are now dealing with new different estate agents who have been a breath of fresh air.
Lyndsey Kotchapaw: Shefflets helped us view and let a beautiful flat that we absolutely love. The staff team have been incredible with helping us complete all the legal paperwork, they've been quick to respond to our inquires, and have been flexible and friendly throughout. Grateful to be working with them!
Fatimah Lawal: Efficient and excellent service
J B: Shefflets have managed my property for almost a year now and I have been extremely impressed by their work.Their staff are professional and efficient and I would highly recommend their services.
Elliott Armitage: I'm currently into my second year of renting a property and have always found them to be very responsive. There has been issues itself with the property but whenever they have come up Shefflets have been quick to sort it out with the landlord. Nicola, Lynsey, Olivia, Lauren and Jess have all been quick to get back to us on any queries. It took a matter of days for us to get all paperwork through for signing agreements when we were ready to move in and the checkups/inspection on the house all went well despite the COVID-19 situation.Edit:Just coming to the end of our 3rd year in the property and signing up for the 4th. Still an excellent service all round,
Trevor Pickering: Shefflets have managed my property since 2010 during which time it has been continuously let with minimal void times between tenancies. All legal and letting processes are done properly and by the book including: Referencing; Deposit Protection; Inventory; end of tenancy checkouts and as a result I have never had a problem with a tenancy. Kirill Yudkin: Best Estate agent experience yet. Super clean when moving in, our person of contact - Hope was excellent at commutating everything on time & even helped us with an issue that happened at 7am! Deposit came back in full, so happy!
roger nichols: Give this firm a miss! Applied to rent a flat, filled in the forms and they didn’t even have the decency to tell me, my application was turned down. Just found out because I saw someone else moving into the flat.
Petros Antoniou: February 2022: Shefflets is punctual and responsive every time we needed them. Had teething issues with homeshift when we first moved in but since then it’s been great. I don’t think they use homeshift anymore anyway. Caring and unbiased agent. Would definitely recommend.

Tapton Estates: what do users think?
Matthew Jones: Had a maintenance issue recently, and was sorted out efficiently by Andy, in and out in 10 minutes.
Josh Lofkin: Extremely helpful agency that were nothing but accommodating and attentive during our tenancy. All the staff were easy to talk to and quick to respond with any queries or concerns we raised.
OLIVIA ATTHUEIS-SMITH: Andy the maintenance man is extremely helpful and a lovely person, offered him a cuppa and we had a lovely chat, very good service
Summersmith Design Ltd: Worked with Tapton Estates for a few years and the girls in the office are always really friendly and helpful.
Kimberley Monks: Always had great service! Any problems are sorted quickly and everyone is helpful. Andy from maintenance is particularly brilliant - thank you!
Amber Stancliffe: Always really helpful and Andy the maintenance guy is great! Really fast and efficient, definitely makes you feel looked after!
Paul Fearn: Have been with Tapton many years and my father before then, staff are always helpful, friendly and efficient.
Alex Sullivan: AVOID THIS COMPANY. Customer service is absolutely horrendous, any issues with the house will not be dealt with. They do not respond to complaints made through email and their emergency numbers do not work. No response from any emergency numbers for a major burst water pipe and then maintenance spoke down to us on the phone the next morning as though we were stupid. Did not even provide us with information on where the stop tap is for the house in case something like this happened and then we were told that they don’t tell us stuff like that ‘so students don’t mess with them’. So you have no emergency numbers and expect tenants to deal with emergencies by themselves, but don’t want students to “mess” with them? This company seriously needs to learn to treat students with even the slightest bit of respect and drastically improve their services if they want to stay in business. Shameful
Daniel Corcoran: Worst student letting agency I've ever been with. Faults/damage/missing furniture reported on moving in in July still not fixed or provided in February. I had to buy my own bed frame, as the one provided was disgustingly stained (seemingly with blood) - told the landlord I was happy to leave the brand new bed frame at the end of my tenancy if he would allow me to throw out the old one, an offer he rejected. Tapton itself is just a front for the actual landlord, and they repeatedly pass off responsibility onto each other when there is an issue.Water pipe exploded in kitchen, and none of the three emergency numbers provided responded until the next morning, and was told 'an emergency number doesn't mean you can get through when you want' - what is Tapton's definition of an emergency, I wonder? I'm sure if I stopped paying rent they would figure out how a phone works to get in contact.House in general is in a disgusting state and I have actively warned everyone I know against signing with Tapton.
Tom Hemmings: Avoid. If you sign with Tapton expect to lose most of your deposit. They never reply to emails unless u ring the office loads. Multiple problems with the house that take months to fix. We had to get a parent to ring for an issue with the house and they said they would prefer if we didn’t get parents involved in the future. They exploit and rip off students.
Mariya: - it can take months and many emails for them to deal with a maintanence issue- when we moved in, there was drops of paint all over the living room which we had to clean ourselves- we did not have ANY heating for over 1 week because the boiler broke on a Friday in December- unreasonable deposit cutsI recommed avoiding
Lucy Whitwell: Wouldn’t recommend for students at all, when we first moved in, the house was filthy even though they claimed a professional company had come in to clean- didn’t even end up getting cleaned and did it ourselves. Had multiple problems throughout which after many emails would end up getting sorted. When moving out they charged us for a full house clean, even after cleaning it very well ourselves and leaving it in a much better state than we found it. :(
Ellie Fish: Wouldn’t recommend as an agent for students. Would take a lot of emails to have maintenance sent out, wouldn’t fix pre existing issues.
Joe Payne: Rented from Tapton estates for over a year and found them to be the best letting agent I’ve had to date. Quick same day email responses, helpful when calling up. Also sorting anything I needed doing in the flat as soon as I got in contact. They also made the moving in and moving out process dead simple and talking me through if I had any questions. Would highly recommend. :)
Nathan Hardman: Fantastic company to deal with, helped me find the perfect place in my 2nd and 3rd year at Uni. Couldn’t recommend this company enough!
Rachael Hardman Jones: Brilliant service every time … I’ve been a landlady and a tenant using Tapton Estates and can’t recommend them enough.
Neeraj Patel: The maintenance team is horrendous. They don't attend issues until 3 months later. The maintenance team also treat us like they are superior to the students living there and still haven't sorted problems we have to them about since 3 months ago
Joe C: Tapton managed our property this year and were excellent! Any issues were sorted really quickly and the whole experience was very positive. Really convenient online system for reporting issues and very helpful staff. Thank you so much!
Samiha Begum: Andy from the maintenance team was great, he came and fixed the issue I had with the shower and was v friendly!
Tom Quegan: I would not rent from Tapton again. Four weeks after the end of my tenancy, and with no sign of my deposit being returned, I had to issue the company with a Statutory Declaration (see the DPS website), and then make use of the DPS Dispute Resolution Service.Tapton attempted to claim £456 for painting and decorating. This was for the 10 picture hook holes that I had filled at the end of the tenancy; all they needed was sanding and touching up. The DPS found the claim to be "excessive", and awarded £75.If you do rent from Tapton, I would strongly suggest you photograph/video everything (I really mean everything) before you move in, as they do not use an independent inventory clerk, like many other letting agents do, so there was no mutually agreed photographic inventory.
Nick Turner: Very quick with Maintenance, called for no heating on a Saturday morning and they managed to get someone out by that afternoon to fix it for us. We are staying with them in our house for another year.

Firth Park Surgery: what do users think?
Tony Brough: Just phoned for a telephone appointment to replace my b12 injection which is due in 2 weeks next available appointment end of July unbelievable
darren beadsley: Disgusting - the doctors are unfeeling and shameful - if you want to sign up for a doctor don’t go here
Karl Akers: Just spent 45 mins on the phone to get the phone put down as I reach the front of the queue. Nice one
Abdallah Farooq: Nurses Angela and Kirsty are lovely. Thanks for looking after me :)
Takkur Kay: Not good service been waiting for 1 hour
ZN: Terrible service, careless doctors i will not be staying in this GP. Receptionists are rude and they don’t know what’s going on.
Riviera_oof: Doctors are pretty good and understanding but receptionists are awful, very rude and have no basic understanding of manners and empathy.Edit: Recently the receptionists have changed, the Indian lady needs to pack in it. Disgraceful behaviour.
Anne Powell: Today was brilliant. No waiting. I was treated well.
AC Glover: I wish this surgery would realise they might be dealing with sick, dying, unwell, mentally ill, ppl with little to no quality of life, and so on. I'm always extra nice and courteous to the receptionists yet some of them are still rude, condescending, sarcastic. I've never seen such unprofessionalism (from both doctors and front desk). A few of them are decent and helpful, but the bad outweighs the good. Please give them some sensitivity training. This is my 2nd review, prob won't be the last sadly. Also, why do they treat all patients like high school dropouts with lengthy criminal records, who don't know anything? Maybe they don't and it's just the way I look? Or that I'm disabled? Our neighbours don't go to this practice even tho it's just down the road, which speaks volumes. Unfortunately being severely crippled without a car, I've no choice but to keep going there (and usually only getting the referrals I need when a Dr from another practice is filling in).
Alan Vernezze: Been with this practice 70years having health problems at the moment but after stating my problems I always seem to get an appointment .
Nadia: If I could rate 0 I would shocking service!!!!!
Karan Collins: Since covid my experience with this g.p surgery that I have gone to since childhood has gone downhill. Ever since the phone appointment system was put in place I have found it very challenging and stressful. The receptionists are rude and seem to have unhelpful abrupt attitudes and in particular they don’t listen but are very good at speaking over you even when trying to explain something to them. When making a phone appointment requesting a doctor of your choice has been taken away you normally end up with somebody who doesn’t know you from Adam also my notes haven’t been brought up to date they should have certain documents from an operation that I had from 2017 as proof of one of my conditions and apparently it doesn’t exsist in my notes. My main point is when are they going to resume normal practice again are we never going to see our g.p’s face to face in the normal way again this is not acceptable I am thinking of moving my family to another surgery which would be a shame because I have a good g.p / patient relationship with the partners ( main doctors)
Mahamed Hamed: Very bad reception they are very rude with paition ,these receptionist are thinking they are pri minister they are dreaming and they need Synology course to teach them how behave with paition and sick people visit them
Alison lonsdale-rush: Fantastic doctors very patient and understanding always have your best interests at heart
campbell onyeme: One is always hurried off the phone by the Doctors without solutions to issues. You are not allowed to choose your own appointment. It is either you take what you are being offered or nothing. You have no choice. Reception staff are very rude and will not listen to you and they keep on talking without listening. No empathy or compassion.
Joseph Rayment: I've been going to this surgery for around 5 years, since moving into the area and have found that the medical advice is as sound as any given by the NHS. The reception staff can come across as rude, but I put this down to being overworked. It is often impossible to get in touch with them and the listed opening times are wrong, which makes it even harder.
Grace Love: My husband and I have been at this surgery since 1990 and my children have been there all their lives . I amalways pleased with the medical and nursing staff but I"m not so sure about reception staff. Mainly professional but can be extremly curt bordering on rude, which is a shame.
Anastasia-Camille Miller: For the last 2 years whenever I call - i try about 40 times between 3 to 5 pm - it's busy or no answer. And when I explain that (as they asked me to call a day before my phone appointment for a link but I probably won't get thru, thus negating the appointment), they say I'm lying and that ppl always get thru between 4 to 5. I had to laugh. They also refuse to refer ppl (at least wheelchair-using immigrants) with actual medical problems and bodily damage, to specialists. I asked for a knee x-ray for 15 months, finally I had to go to hospital myself, show an ortho surgeon my knee and beg for help. that's how I finally got referred.I'm a bit concerned about retaliation for this review as they're incredibly unprofessional here, and may refuse to book me an appointment at all but after being treated like a 3rd class, uneducated, citizen, I had to be honest.
Felicity Tood-Brown: The receptionist rather rude, been ringing since 8:30 this morning lines was apparently busy and they didn't answer till 9 asked for emergency appointment with my regular doctor and was talking over me saying you can only have 29th June I also hate being asked what the emergency about love your receptionist not nurse you book the appointment not ask what the problem is. I'm very upset and disgusting with there behaviour
Daniel Smith: Waste of time ask me to come in and see a doctor, left work early early see them and there have no doctors in just nurses. What a waste of time and the receptionist is most rudest person I've ever spoke to, needs replacing
Marcus: Over 50 calls each day, for a week now. Urgently needing an appointment, to no prevail. Sometimes you get past the 'lines busy stage to then encounter the call been put down whilst ringing. How is It so hard to make an appointment?
