B M: Started with Forde in October. Worked a handful of days throughout the whole of November. December came, I got one shift. As of recently I am getting a text “you are confirmed Mon-Fri next week”. Then I get stood down 3/4 days a week. Called up to ask why if I’m confirmed all week, first answer “stand downs are rotational” yet everyone else was always in but me. Called back up and was told “clients choice, they choose who they want in”. Ok fair enough, but it becomes a joke when you’ve never stepped out of line, never turned down work and you’ve done extra work when the day changes for them. Lovely staff, when they want you in working. When you aren’t in, they don’t care and speak down to you. It’s now April, since working with Forde in October I’ve been paid roughly around £1,500. Don’t waste your time as they will definitely find a way to waste yours. One minute you’re in, the next you’ll get a text saying you’re stood down. Don’t plan anything either because they will change their minds then call you to go in last minute. Fully believe the other 5 star reviews are fake as I am not the only person who’s said this, I’m just the person who’s been stood down 9 days in a row “on rotation” and doesn’t care about the next working day from them.

Andrew Laughton: I have worked for Forde Recruitment as a HGV Class 1 driver for just over a year and two month's now. The whole process of signing up with them and doing the weekly work was so easy and very efficiently done. From the first week I started with Forde they put me on with a major chilled food manufacturer and the hours and pay where very good. Every week Richard Haines would text my shift's to me on a Monday for the work for the following week. What I though was nice is that Richard Haines also kept in contact with me weekly to make sure I was ok and that everything was ok at the company I was working for. I could not fault Richard as every week we spoke he was always very professional, efficient and very polite on the phone. Most weeks at Forde there was plenty of work with some week's you could get an extra shift on the spot due to last minute sickness. The girl's in the office where very good, polite and very efficient as I never had any week where my wages or Holiday pay was wrong. Also if you wanted to put some Holidays in or had a question about anything they the girl's where very prompt and polite in getting back to you. My time at Forde was great and I enjoyed it. It even resulted in a full time job with the major food manufacturer I was working for in the end. I can not thank them all enough. Thank you FORDE.

Sixty P Beatz: Forde does the recruitment on point, been with them for a few good years, on and off as the job assignment depends on the company which hires you through Forde. I was not let down once with payment. They might get a short notice cancellation of the shift, nevertheless bare in mind it is not them who have the right to cancel workers, it's the company you be send to work at and their demands. Very friendly staff and absolute stars here in Sheffield. You might have notice that the labour market is facing a lot of issues, cost cutting choices that are not very pleasant. Either way, I suggest you give them a chance, meanwhile have a plan B ready as well and you will make it through. In this day and age you can hardly rely on any company and recruitment agencies does what they are here for. Provide opportunities if there are any left.

I applied for job through Cv-library online and within a day or two I was invited to come in and register with travail. The weekend passed by and on Monday I was called to start work on Tuesday.
