Tank: what do users think?
Freya Glazebrook
Freya Glazebrook: Tank is absolutely the place to be if you like drum & bass. Great lineups and always a good night music-wise. I have found the dance floor area to be a little more spacious and less claustrophobic since the revamp. Only problem is the £10 minimum card spend at the bar which really puts people off buying drinks there. The bar can also sometimes be awkward about giving people tap water which is not great considering how hot and sweaty it can get in there. If the bar and drinks prices were more student-friendly and more air-con was installed then Tank would be perfect.
Jayden Cadle
Jayden Cadle: Not offering tap water? Bar staff telling me to get it from the toilet, legally as a company you have to provide tap water. Rude toilet attendant pushing people out of the toilets and £10 minimum card spend. Only good thing about this place was the music
Its Clarkey
Its Clarkey: Chase and status was the worst rave I’ve ever been to. The crowds are so so so bad, so much pushing in your back and no room to dance. Couldn’t even listen to the music cos I was focusing on the crowd so much. Don’t let annoying chavs in and don’t over sell tickets. Never going again . Also so expensive for drinks. £5 for a can of Red Bull. Ripping of poor students
Amber-jane Parrott
Amber-jane Parrott: Asked for tap water made us walk to 3 different bars as half of them couldn’t provide water. To then be told they don’t give away free tap water and you will have to buy a £2.50 bottle. Lots of fights and boucers did nothing
Mark Lee
Mark Lee: Needed id to gain entry even though im 33 the event did not meention this cl3arly thaf you actually need your id to be scammed there was 3 of turned away after 2 hour drive to be told were not allowed in when we have our tickets pre booked and we must have id or no entry
Adam
Adam: Used to be very good now they charge £8 for a double. Still good music but feel like the pricing has ruined it!
Dom GTSK
Dom GTSK: I don’t understand the reviews; bad security, bad sound system, bad crowd… Tank is tank and no other place will beat it, never had a bad experience. Just live a little
Response: Thanks Dom! We're glad you love Tank! See you on the dancefloor!
194 dB
194 dB: Only been once and I’m sure when it was named they ran out of W’s and replaced it with a T. I’m even more annoyed that they lied to get my number saying it was for covid tracking I explicitly said I don’t want marketing as I’m not from the area and unlikely to return and yet I’m receiving constant marketing texts with no option to stop them or block them. We went for a drum and bass night with was not only massively over sold to the point where you couldn’t move at all but they literally played one dnb set and the rest was bass line. Not what we went for at all. I’ve been to 100’s of dnb events not only all over the uk but the world and this has to be the worst venue by far. I’ve never been to an event yet where the people attending seemed more interested in fighting than the music. It’s also the first event where We’ve left early as it was so bad. For anyone considering going here I really do hope you reconsider and if you really are deciding to go for the love of god don’t give them your mobile number under any circumstance.
Charlie Thomas
Charlie Thomas: Meant to open at 11 but the ID guy was half an hour late so we had to wait outside in the freezing cold. Bouncers kicked my female friend out on the street on her own at 2am with no regard for her safety. Lines for everything were ridiculous did not feel safe there at all. Whole group caught covid just before Christmas 👍
Mike Dorkzy
Mike Dorkzy: Been going to tank for quite a long time often. Travel from Manchester to go to the venue. Always great atmosphere, lovely staff. Just wish the air con was better considering they spent so much on the new lights
Response: Thanks for your review Mike! We're honoured you travel from Manchester to party with us regularly! We take on board your comments regarding air-con and we'll look into this!
Billy Street-Rose
Billy Street-Rose: Went to see silky on 29th April. Silky didn’t turn up which admittedly isn’t the venue’s fault but no announcement was made on the night, instead just covering with resident DJs which is not what people went for. No mention of refunds now a week later, seems like they’re just trying to bury it. Other bad points are £10 minimum card spend, expensive drinks and the fact I was told to go to the toilet for tap water. Doubt I’ll visit again after this.
Hollie Jackson
Hollie Jackson: ABSOLUTE SCAMdrove an hour and a half to see silky, was waiting until 3.30am and as time went on we knew he wasn’t going to be coming. nobody in the club ever mentioned this they left us still buying drinks all night listening to someone we didn’t even want to see until closing time. time wasters. AVOID
Declan Coombes
Declan Coombes: Best night club in sheffiled
Robert Dixon
Robert Dixon: Came for an event and quite impressed with the sound system and visuals. However, we had to queue for about an hour, despite paying for tickets as they only had one ID checker. Also there is a £10 minimum bar spend and the drinks are quite pricey for up north but to be expected for a rated club I guess. Also no tap water, only bottled which they want cash for.
Jess
Jess: Amazing and fast bar service. Maybe a cleaner in the toilets but still was an epic night!
Abbie Cooper
Abbie Cooper: Decent music but was spoiled by the fact I was charged nearly £20 for two double rums ??
beau Monk
beau Monk: I had a good night in tank, but there are a few issues that you need to address1. The aircon clearly doesn’t work at all, it’s way too hot inside2. I had no prior knowledge of a £10 minimum card spend, had I known I’d of taken cash with me & because I was on my own, I had to just drink tap water all night (which you made difficult) as I wouldn’t need £10 worth of drinks a go, but because it was so hot I had to get water every 20 mins so was a bit long3. Toilet doors don’t lockPlus points I found sound system decent and overall I did like the club, it was better than I was expecting and I had no trouble with the crowd, staff or security
Sam Brown
Sam Brown: First and last time going to tank. They charge different prices at different bars, I think they just decide what they charge depending on the person. Would’ve been an amazing night if it wasn’t for the terrible venue and service. If you want a proper underground night out I’d suggest you go somewhere proper like dryad or hope works. They also were promoting that electrikal sound system was there, which they were not. I have a better sound system at home, I should’ve booked all the talented DJs that came tonight and hosted a party at my house. Shameful
Mark Lee
Mark Lee: Needed id to gain entry even though im 33 the event did not meention this cl3arly thaf you actually need your id to be scammed there was 3 of turned away after 2 hour drive to be told were not allowed in when we have our tickets pre booked and we must have id or no entry

Leigh Skelley: Mint venue but one of the bar workers is really unnecessarily rude every time we get served by her.

Foundry, Sheffield: what do users think?
Dave Thompson
Dave Thompson: It gets a 3 because of 2 things. 1) the reasonably priced drinks and 2) the music on this occasion. (Craig Charles - out of this world) The negative biggest for me was the dance floor. People were dancing with drinks in their hands with drink spilling over onto the floor making it slippy at best and sticky at worst. Atrocious behaviour to what could have been a decent platform for strutting your stuff.
Phil Otter
Phil Otter: Seen many concerts here and always enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff this time were more friendly and helpful than ever. The bar staff were quick and efficient and the view and sound were decent for a venue with a low ceiling. Will definitely come here again.
Alicia Gooden
Alicia Gooden: Nice venue for live music - went to see Mahalia here. May sound stupid but there are two places in a close distance called Foundry... Make sure you select the one at the student union. There were plenty of people including ourselves wondering around the other Foundry for a while - we soon realised we were a 20 minute walk away! Drinks were reasonably priced
Robin Quartermain
Robin Quartermain: Not am easy place to find 😉 great venue and great sound unfortunately bar queue was to long and ran out of beer as most on sale were cider not beer
M max
M max: potptarts: bartender named molly served multiple people before me, even though i was before them all, she served people who she worked with first as a priority, i know this because they were gossiping about employees in front of me. Roar: the clobbers are horrific, so many bottles to the head
Sammi Wood
Sammi Wood: We saw Lucy Spraggan on the 19th May 2023 what an amazing night staff were brilliant and got to meet Lucy after the show
Geoff Forster
Geoff Forster: No clear sign to indicate entrance. Which one of the staff found funny. No room to move behind sound desk.
Michelle Greensmith
Michelle Greensmith: Good venue for a gig, a little tricky to find once on campus as no signs.
David Hawkes
David Hawkes: A great venue. Helpful and friendly staff.
Tony Johnson
Tony Johnson: Great venue
David Fogg
David Fogg: Awesome venue! Great viewing area for bands, and a room off to the side with tables when it all gets too much and you need to sit down at a table.Bar is really cheap too!
Naomi Azeez
Naomi Azeez: Smoking area is like a tiny cage fit for lab rodents, venue itself is alright though.
Jude Farmer
Jude Farmer: Ok
Shauna T R Naylor
Shauna T R Naylor: I really liked this gig space. It felt small and intimate yet spacious enough to get away from the action for a breather if I wanted to. The bar staff were super lovely and welcoming and I felt it was a very non judgemental safe space. Well done to the staff and managers.
Hollie Stirk
Hollie Stirk: I went to see a band play here last week and it was great. The band were fab, but honestly what made my night was that at 31 years old I got asked for ID at the bar. So to the bar staff, thank you for giving me an ego boost 😂👏🏼
david poyton
david poyton: Fabulous venue I hope more bands decide to play here
Georgia Kennewell
Georgia Kennewell: For my birthday, I purchased tickets for Shy Fx and went here last night. Upon arrival, the staff were very helpful and the bar was great. As we waited to show our tickets and have our ids scanned, I noticed there were no bag checks or pat-downs. People were being let in with bum bags which could have had anything in. There was a sniffer dog on-site but people could have been carrying weapons with them. I was having a great time in the first hour, but then I noticed more and more people appearing around me. As soon as Shy fx came on stage, the place became cramped, and as the night went on, I was pushed into the barriers at the front, I was getting drinks thrown at me, and people were pulling my hair. In my panic, I had to push a group of people behind me because I couldn't breathe at one point. Walking out of the venue took a while as the venue was so packed. I accidentally pushed people over because there was no room to move. People fell and drinks were all over the floor, making it difficult to walk out. Several bruises cover my body due to people hitting me by accident. I understand that raves are supposed to be chaotic, but they shouldn't get to the point where people are getting squashed and hurt. The fact that I had to leave just over an hour into the show was really disappointing and upsetting to me, I was so excited to see Shy FX and it is a shame that I could not even dance or have a good time when he was performing.
James Ratcliffe
James Ratcliffe: Nice safe atmosphere and cheap drinks compared to other clubs. Unfortunately caught a horrible illness and was off work for a week after. Probably wasn't worth it for ABBA.
Carol Wright
Carol Wright: Great live band
Dave Thompson
Dave Thompson: It gets a 3 because of 2 things. 1) the reasonably priced drinks and 2) the music on this occasion. (Craig Charles - out of this world) The negative biggest for me was the dance floor. People were dancing with drinks in their hands with drink spilling over onto the floor making it slippy at best and sticky at worst. Atrocious behaviour to what could have been a decent platform for strutting your stuff.
Isaac
Isaac: Expensieve drinks for a students union and the venue has no character. Bouncers are really chill though and they have a good variety of events.
Rick Clarkey
Rick Clarkey: Brilliant sound system 🕺
football broz
football broz: Good venue fair prices
Robin Quartermain
Robin Quartermain: Not am easy place to find 😉 great venue and great sound unfortunately bar queue was to long and ran out of beer as most on sale were cider not beer
R Q
R Q: The fire alarm went off twice during a performance. But it was good except that.
Dr. H.
Dr. H.: Visited during job's fair only.

Tim Osborne (Evilother)
Tim Osborne (Evilother): Bad PA, weird layout of the venue means that you can only see the stage from a tiny portion of the floor.
Lewis Joe
Lewis Joe: Went to see Sharon Needles 'celebrity morgue ' and was not disappointed, a small venue ,but the staff were good, entry was quick and the space is small ,but allowed everyone to be close to to the stage , making the performance even better as we could all see Sharon up close
Andy Mitchell
Andy Mitchell: Great venue . Highly recommend .
Ed Brown
Ed Brown: We have just come back from seeing "judge jules live" and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had no problems with security, and despite what we had heard about the gatecrasher events held there, the bar prices were very reasonable. It's a great underground feel and is a decent size club with 3 arenas. There is an ncp carpark right opposite which is very handy if you are traveling by car. I wouldn't hesitate to go to another event here.

Corporation: what do users think?
faye marshall
faye marshall: Corp used to be good, it was an alternative nightclub where all the alt community would go to have a good drink to good music. The upstairs rooms for drum and bass and the pop classics room, added a bit of variation and was a nice change from the other two rooms sometimes and inspired a wider audience. But now you play Adele and Ed Sheeran in the main room??? Not only are those both depressing as hell, it’s not Corp. Would rather go literally anywhere else than a nightclub that plays depressive chart music. You’ve lost touch with the reason Corp was so good to begin with. Bring it back!!
Chloe Fitzgerald
Chloe Fitzgerald: Disgusting bouncers!! Lost my phone which had my bank card in the case had no way home or contact to anyone I got laughed at and told to leave forcefully, the women bouncer was disgusting and joked about autism and made fun out of my friend for it she also proceeded to laugh when having a panic attack on the floor as I was stranded and scared, may be cheap but isn’t worth it
Davey Butch Butcher
Davey Butch Butcher: Great place to see live music. Just look at the photos.
Graham Helliwell
Graham Helliwell: Small place but great venue. Expected parking to be an issue but was straight forward.
Matt P
Matt P: Some of the bouncers are unprofessional and plain rude. One even swore to my face unprovoked. Worst in Sheffield. This is my first ever google review, I felt it necessary to express this.
Dean Fletcher
Dean Fletcher: Great venue with a great selection of beers and ales. Perfect live music venue! 😎🍻👌
mark shepherd
mark shepherd: Travelled 250 miles and couldn't have come across a better venue! The sound was amazing and the welcome from the staff was second to none
Johnny Arrow
Johnny Arrow: Great club that has many great bands playing. Saw Dvne recently in one of the smaller rooms it was really intimate and there was a great overall sound and atmosphere. Dvne were amazing too of course!
Andrew Nell
Andrew Nell: The Corporation excellent live music venue. Place seems very big with an upstairs which we didn't go to. There are two rooms downstairs with stages and each has a bar. One room is small and intimate with a good stage for live acts. The other room is at least twice the size, with a good stage and a long bar for more popular bands. There is an excellent pub at the End of the Street less than 200 yards away. A great place to meet up and for pre concert drinks. It's a nice venue to see live music and the sound quality was excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional. There is also free on street parking, at night right outside the corporation.
Paul Mitchelson
Paul Mitchelson: 2 of the bouncers saw a friend of mine having a epileptic fit but instead of calling for an ambulance they carried her out of a back door and left her there. Total professionalism. This place needs an ICBM detonating over it
Connor Madden
Connor Madden: Play a full song challenge failed
chrissy corbett
chrissy corbett: Coloured pints, nuff said !
Charlene Stengel
Charlene Stengel: Fun place, they have a special offer on Monday where drinks are 90p, you have multiple big rooms to choose from, all with different musics. The people I have met there were all friendly!
Rick Clarkey
Rick Clarkey: Reyt good venue 💯
Anish Chatterjee
Anish Chatterjee: Amazing ambience. They've got different rooms in the ground floor and first floor with different genres of music. Tickets are a bit costly as compared to other nightclubs. But this is so worth it. Must visit.
Joshua Douglass
Joshua Douglass: Still given 5 because corp is in my heart, blood and veins. But you seriously need to sort your bouncers out.Last night I saw a group of lads who they stopped dancing when they were doing nothing more than holding hands and basically doing ring a ring a rosie. Not even going fast or causing a nuance to anyone else.We used to have full blown mosh pits on a club night and now you can't even dance.Really sad to see corp going downhill and was properly dead on a Friday. Needs to find a way back to what it use to be.
Chris Mac
Chris Mac: Great club, great music, lots of space to wiggle
Juste Ziulpaite
Juste Ziulpaite: Remixed baby shark
Romany Evans
Romany Evans: Abusive bouncers, treat people 'in the trade' e.g. working at other clubs or bars with visibly more respect whereas treating everyone else like dirt, laughing and making disgusting remarks acting as if they are all ganging up in you, even saying to me " haha no you don't get this kind of treatment" when letting someone in and not having to be searched.this is not behaviour I have experienced one time this is continuous and always makes me anxoius about even going to corp it puts me off as you never know if they are actually going to let you in or not as you can tell the 'rules' they have are very much only applied to specific people as and when they choose. I am going to stop even giving them the time of day as their behaviour seems to just be getting more extreme, which is a shame as once through the doors and bouncer'sit tends to be an quite an enjoyable experience.
Ed
Ed: Pint and a single £6.90 short measure 'double' of the same £9 served by the person who claimed to be bar supervisor. Nice venue but drink before you go
jamie bond
jamie bond: Stay away from this club! I have been a very loyal customer of this place. Here I detail how a white man assaults an ethnic minority member of the LGBT community and in response the club bans the victim from coming in again.I always order my tickets online and can prove I’ve bought over 300 in recent years. On revolution night on Saturday 5th- Sunday 6th November I went into the Revolution room. This guy gave me a load of verbal abuse- he does it every time I go in. A very kind hearted individual- a crossdresser- took him away. Then a few minutes later he came back and gave me more abuse. Then he did a roundhouse kick on me. There was no bouncer in the room- in fact the security in that place has gone downhill. ~Now I am very used to taking such hits given my day job. However, had I not been so used to it I could have been very hurt. I then walked away and went to the security guards outside. I asked if people are allowed to do that. The security guard said they are not meant to. This security guard came in and removed the offender.I also informed the police because I knew this guy’s name. The police officer rang the assailant and I understand a warning was given.I then had a period of illness due to covid. A month later I went in on revolution night and this female security guard had told me that senior management had told the bouncers not to let me in. This is how they treat their loyal customers! A few years ago, a young woman died on the way home from this club. Lots of people went on social media saying they weren’t coming in and I replied saying it was very safe. The same happened after a knifing there. So, consider this. A white man who comes in once a month assaults an ethnic minority member of the LGBT community who comes in at least twice a month. The same member who went online to to reassure those who were worried about safety. In response to an assault they ban the victim!I also have details of other cases. I am now seeing a solicitor about legal action against this place.
Graham Helliwell
Graham Helliwell: Small place but great venue. Expected parking to be an issue but was straight forward.
Chloe Fitzgerald
Chloe Fitzgerald: Disgusting bouncers!! Lost my phone which had my bank card in the case had no way home or contact to anyone I got laughed at and told to leave forcefully, the women bouncer was disgusting and joked about autism and made fun out of my friend for it she also proceeded to laugh when having a panic attack on the floor as I was stranded and scared, may be cheap but isn’t worth it
Dave
Dave: I've been here 3 times now and I've really enjoyed it. The bands were great and the sound was good. Staff etc were spot on.
Davey Butch Butcher
Davey Butch Butcher: Great place to see live music. Just look at the photos.
fats
fats: First time there last night. Totally wicked time! The drinks were super cheap and delicious. Four flours of total variety. Acid rock, 80s punk , 90s jams and a lil drum and base right up my alley! I'll be back for sure .
Matt P
Matt P: Some of the bouncers are unprofessional and plain rude. One even swore to my face unprovoked. Worst in Sheffield. This is my first ever google review, I felt it necessary to express this.

Leo Russell Moore
Leo Russell Moore: Mad respect for the team for turning Dryad into the most incredible venue for electronic music in Sheffield, keeping sound system culture alive and providing spaces for local music-oriented initiatives like radio and studio space. One of a kind place.
Daniel Burniston
Daniel Burniston: Charing for earplugs whilst your speakers are set to the highest level is the most disgusting capitalist thing you can do
Response: Hey! Sorry you've hit us at a time when we run low on our stocks of completely free ones from behind the bar and we unfortunately ran out a bit early on. The trader selling the ear plugs are an independent business supplying their goods at the venue as well as us offering our free ones. We've been supplying free ear protection to all of our events since we opened and we fully understand why you would think it's a capitalist thing if we were charging for ear protection as the venue. But we can fully guarantee that we aren't, don't, and are the complete opposite of capitalist as a DIY Grassroots Music Venue built on a strong community of creative individuals who make this place what it is. 🙂 Please accept our apologies for running out of stock and hope this didn't affect your night. Hope this cleared things up, we really value our family and all those who make it to our venue for a good night and would never want anyone such as yourself having a bad one and needing to leave a 1 star review. We've been proud of our 5 star reviews for almost 4 years now and would love to continue on that path.

Eryn Diamond
Eryn Diamond: My boyfriend dropped his phone in the portaloo and they fished it out for him. Great staff, great music
HKT
HKT: Decent music venue, more dance music than anything. Went to a dub night and it was good, nice crowd. 3 red stripe bets for £10 which wasn't too bad.
Daniel Burniston
Daniel Burniston: Charing for earplugs whilst your speakers are set to the highest level is the most disgusting capitalist thing you can do
James F
James F: Great sound, great vibe and good venue. Only downside is people smoking inside, made me stink of cigarette smoke.

I would recommend you go there and when buying a drink ask what offers they have on. Normally 3 cans for a tenner! Nice outside area and on some events they have up 3 rooms with some of the the best sound systems in Sheffield.

The Leadmill: what do users think?
Mallard 4468
Mallard 4468: Had a few good nights here
Ian Massey
Ian Massey: Great venue, decent selection of drinks, staff were friendly
Glynn
Glynn: Overall a very good venue. However I went to see a comedy show the other night and there wasn't enough leg room at all. My thighs were really aching and by the time it finished my legs were hurting and couldn't wait to stand up, felt like standing up but didn't want the comedian saying something so I felt I had to keep sat still, with me being tall I need more leg room and unless the chairs get to be more spaced out between the rows in future I honestly wouldn't want to go again. My mate said his legs were aching and not as tall as me, so something has to be done. However this is an overall rating as I've enjoyed seeing a few bands in the past here standing. Staff always seem friendly.
James
James: Bar staff friendly. Good music. Also found the security staff good. Let people get on with their night which was great
Samantha Frickleton
Samantha Frickleton: Made a special trip to Sheffield to go to see music at the Leadmill. Amazing venue. Show was sold out but there was plenty of room so as not to feel hemmed in. Felt really safe in the venue. Friendly staff, good sound quality and clean toilets. What more could you want?
Jamie Johnson
Jamie Johnson: Went to see Hannah grae and James Marriott, loved the music and there was loads of room.
Kayla
Kayla: Really great venue, just a shame the woman running the cloakroom was rude- rolling eyes and huffing and puffing.
Hannah Baines
Hannah Baines: Faulty ticket - usually have a great time with no difficulty getting in but last time i went they claimed my ticket had already been used 30 minutes earlier (i hadnt sent it to anyone so there is no way this could have happened) and when i showed the guy that it was my name on the ticket he didnt care and just told me wait behind a barrier where no one came to speak to me about it, essentially just leaving me (18F) on my own outside due to a fault in their system. Made me uncomfortable with how i was treated or may be treated again if i go back.
JSB 1
JSB 1: Went 27/1/23 around 11ish, they didn’t accept mine and my mates ticket code and we had to wait other side of the road for over 1 hour before security let 100 plus in. Once in it was all great experience but security needs to do better getting people in as a lot in the queue either tried sneaking in or just started leaving. The men’s restroom at 4am with the 2 security guards trying to break down one of the cubicle doors was pretty good end to my first night out in Sheffield! 😂
Callum Berry
Callum Berry: Venue was fine, bar staff friendly. Although, rude and threatening behaviour from the door staff, clearly looking for trouble where there is none. The sort that give doormen a bad name.
Julie Cole
Julie Cole: Fantastic venue, great sound/lights, city centre location so parking not great but close to train station and bus routes, please support this venue 😊
Colin Pratt
Colin Pratt: A fantastic venue. Nice door and bar staff and a good selection of beers. Gets pretty full but it has good wide viewing area. I loved it
Emma Though
Emma Though: My favourite nightclub
D Mark Antrobus
D Mark Antrobus: By far the best night out and club in Sheffield, also they don’t rip you of with the drinks. Sensible money.
E. Lewin
E. Lewin: Great sheffield night club and live music/comedy venue. Great staff.
Owen Brown
Owen Brown: As with any night at the Leadmill, my night seeing Amyl and The Sniffers was amazing, but this was extra special.I had been due to see them in Liverpool (The Leadmill sold out so quickly) with my daughter (her favourite band). However when tour dates were altered it became apparent we couldn't. My daughter is being treated for anorexia and Amyl in Liverpool was a focal point for getting to a healthy weight, which would mean she could attend the gig. Sadly, the changed date was to early. I contacted the Leadmill who went out of their way to help and put us on the guest list. The night was amazing and it gave my daughter a huge boost and was a really important marker in her treatment. The Leadmill has once again proven itself to be more than just a venue. It is Sheffield and we can't let it go.Thank you to everyone at The Leadmill for what you did for my daughter, the gig will live long in her memory, but not as long as your gesture will in mine.A truly amazing venue and staff.
Ruurd Edens
Ruurd Edens: great venue. no cloakroom though.
Heather C
Heather C: Overcrowding took away the enjoyment of the evening (26/11/22) being shoved all night as people tried to make a path through to the bar or toilets. Didn't feel safe.
Paes Pal
Paes Pal: The money drop night is a borderline scam. They claimed to drop 1.5k yet had about 25 balloons mostly containing fivers (think a couple tenners) each. Asked a worker and he was sceptical about the whole thing himself? Me and my friend paid for tickets specifically for this event so complete waste of money. False advertising isn't a good look..
hannah hallas
hannah hallas: Please don’t shut the leadmill it’s a sheffield gem!
Jem Alexander
Jem Alexander: Dont go on a Saturday, pained looks on people's faces because the music mannn.

Wizard Guitars: what do users think?
Archie Rawson
Archie Rawson: By far the best Guitar shop in Sheffield nay Yorkshire. Consistently excellent customer service. Came in today to ask about some new strings and was given a full education on what I should be looking for based on the sound of what I want to play and the feel I want on my board. Couldn't recommend it enough!
conor jewitt
conor jewitt: Older fella in there was passive aggressive and frankly rude when we asked to try out some guitars. I understand being frustrated if people are coming in and damaging instruments but it isn’t fair to treat every customer like that, they simply left us alone without a cable or anything to actually try the guitar out with. The selection of instruments was great but frankly there was absolutely no chance I was going to buy from them after being treated like that.
Luke W.
Luke W.: Great guitar shop, friendly staff and a good selection of guitars and accessories for any level of player.
Mark Illingworth
Mark Illingworth: After looking online at various shops and reviews I settled on Wizard Guitars and wasn't disappointed. I've been wanting to get back into playing after 10+ years. I got completely sound advice from the guys in the shop and i will definitely return. I was able to play the full set up before purchase and wasn't pressured in the slightest to buy anything I didn't need.
Lucas Stoten
Lucas Stoten: Great shop. The staff are very generous with their time.
Mike Akroyd
Mike Akroyd: I bought my first electric guitar from these guys when they were on Ecclesall Road a few years ago, and have been back for support around setup etc. Today was my first visit to the new shop. Although the environment has had a massive upgrade, and really needs to be seen to be believed, I was most pleased that the same friendly expert service that they have always provided remains in place. What turned out to be a relatively minor pickup issue was sorted quickly, with advice about how to monitor and maintain in the future. One of the most important things for me as a relatively limited guitarist, is that the team at Wizard have never made me feel daft, which I've found can be the case in other shops.
LE Norsworthy.
LE Norsworthy.: Had a bad experience many years ago. Total mercenaries
Johnny
Johnny: Good shop and good service.
Billy Washington
Billy Washington: Got my Les Paul set up at wizards and they did a fantastic job at a great price! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the new shop is great! Definitely recommend.
Neil Hudson
Neil Hudson: Took my bass in for a new nut fitting and they did a splendid job. When I got it home and found string buzz they took it back in and sorted it at no extra cost (it turned out to be a dodgy string). Very professional service.
Mark Metcalfe
Mark Metcalfe: Nice friendly shop, good prises
Maurice Wren
Maurice Wren: A guitarist's paradise, staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people.
William T Dyer
William T Dyer: took bass in for repair, took no time at all, really fridnely staff
Rudders666
Rudders666: I can't say enough good things about this place. I called in last weekend looking for my first guitar setup and was given loads of time and even a bit of a free lesson really, which was great and really got me hooked immediately. I walked out with a guitar, amp, tuner, stand, bag, etc, all the things to start me on my journey. I'll be back in three months for restringing (even though it's not local to me). Fantastic service!! A+++
Alex Hudson
Alex Hudson: Popped in about 3 times over the past week for a little help with my project guitar. Super friendly, very clued up and an excellent selection of geeeeetars! Couldn't recommend enough, they're great! 🤘😎
Andy Carter
Andy Carter: I visited Wizard Guitars for the first time last week. I was looking to buy my first ukulele. Being a beginner I was unsure what would be best as an entry level, although I knew I wanted a uke that had a good sound. The advice I was given was excellent. They went through the different types of ukuleles and gave me demonstrations as well as letting me try them out myself. Personally I don't believe you can really buy a musical instrument online. You need to feel it in your hands and hear how it plays. I came away a very happy customer. A week later and I'm loving my new ukulele. I'd highly recommend this shop and will be back in the future.
Niell Jordan Jinivon
Niell Jordan Jinivon: Went in for a guitar nut repair and opted in for a cheaper option, midway during repair the nut broke as it was cheap plastic. The staff at Wizard Guitars replaced it with a higher quality one and insisted on not charging me extra! All in all, great service with people who know their stuff, would highly recommend them for all your guitar needs in Sheffield.
ok
ok: This place has a great selection of equipment, as far as I know it has the best selection of EHX pedals in the whole of Sheffield. Would definitely give this place a shot if your in the market for some new equipment. Friendly and welcoming staff too, they were great at helping me pick out new equipment if I needed advice, and were happy to chat to me about the equipment they have in stock, even if I'm not looking to buy.
John Andrew
John Andrew: Got my acoustic guitar set up by Phil at Wizard Guitars. It's never played this well. Very knowledgeable + top quality service. I would highly recommend.
Lyndsey Thomas
Lyndsey Thomas: Visited this shop to sell three guitars. We was worried about selling these as we have no knowledge on guitars, but the guys here were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and give us a good price for them. Would definitely recommend.

Rachel Waite
Rachel Waite: I was casually sipping a cup of water outside and a security guard slapped it out of my hand after he said I couldn't have drinks outside and I told him it was water. Get a grip. I'm really sorry that as a female I am taller than you and you can't get over being 5 foot, but that's not my problem and you shouldn't be taking your aggression out on me. Thanks.

Lee Douglas Music: 10/10 service all went smoothly and couldn't be more happy with my purchase thank you I'll be back!
Russell Newton
Russell Newton: Richtone have absolutely excellent customer service. I recently bought a Warwick Alien 6 string acoustic bass from them and from the initial phone call I made to enquire about the bass, all the way through to delivery (this morning!) with numerous emails exchanged in between, Richtone have been superb! Very quick to respond, very quick to dispatch and although I was quite prepared for the bass to arrive next Tuesday due to the Bank Holiday, it arrived this morning so now I have the 3 day weekend to play it! All round, top service!
Christian Fletcher
Christian Fletcher: Never again!
Dave Discharge
Dave Discharge: Worst customer service! Their courier damaged the guitar due to mishandling. So far two weeks to resolve as Rich Tone are asking us to take full responsibility in getting the item safely back using their courier! Nothing but back and forth!!! Never had such a bad experience as this. So, if they wreck it again it becomes our responsibility? I don’t think so, matey. We’ll see you in the small claims court as you have been so negligent.
Rita Atherton

nanette shirley
nanette shirley: Called in recently to look for a guitar to buy for myself, as a complete novice. Was delighted by the staff. No pushy selling, no rush to make my mind up. I'm now 60 and always fancied taking it up. Had some great advice too. Highly recommend
Letz_Get Schwifty
Letz_Get Schwifty: Simply amazing service from start to end.My journey starts with Pete! I was after part exchanging a few things for a Les Paul. Catch is I can't be at the store due to distance, but luckily the process was so simple it couldn't be easier. I sourced my own boxes (Richtone charge £20 per box due to its size, so highly recommend asking your local music shop for spare boxes which should be free), they arranged collection and got my gear the following day.As each Gibson is different, I'm checking a couple of guitars for their tops, Pete kindly checked and tried them personally, after little debate we settled with what is now my new Les Paul that arrived today! Which also plays incredible!! I was nervous, as normally you want to try these guitars before buying, especially as they arent a cheap guitar! But trusted the advice and it paid off.A shout out to whoever set this guitar up before shipping, such a nice difference when a guitar is ready to play out the box...and set up really well.Again thank you to everyone who helped, I can't flaw your customer care and appreciate all the time you've given me. I absolutely love my new guitar and given I couldn't personally be at the store, the experience couldn't be better!
Exvsia
