She has created a beautiful space that is filled with everything you could need for your next craft project & is a beautiful place to hangout. Within the workshops Sarah leads you so supportively through the tasks, always patient & gives clear instructions. Jenn Harrison: Booked onto a beginners dressmaking course at CRAFT Sheffield and had the best time! Learnt so many skills and generally built confidence in making clothes. Sarah is amazing and guides you through absolutely everything to do with patterns, machines (including overlockers) and general tips and tricks. Will definitely be returning for more classes. Be warned…. These classes are addictive and will make you want to buy all sorts of gadgets! A must for anyone who is wanting to make clothes but not sure where to start.

charli b: A fantastic 4 day course where you learn how to read, trace and cut a pattern then make the garment of choice. Sarah takes the time to show you all the steps as part of a group and individually having great fun along the way. I cannot recommend this course enough!

Anita Wark: On Saturday I travelled from Hull to visit the shop.I don't drive so had to wait for my daughter to bring me.It was worth the journey as I was very impressed by everything I saw. I arrived with a list, but that usless as I wanted every thing.Its a good job I was served by a lovely lady called Diane and she couldn't have been more helpful. The shop is fully stocked and so very clean ( means a lot to me).Please make the effort to visit the store you won't be disappointed.x

Anne Taylor: Was at the Abbeydale Road shop for a craft night where I met Karen and a crowd of lovely happy welcoming ladies it was a super night. There was also tea and cake, yum yum. all this and being taught how to make cards, whats not to like about it. To anyone who lives near enough to get there I would say give it try, you won't regret it. Unfortunately I live in Bonnie Scotland and was only visiting, but will be back the next time I am south Yorkshire.

The course was well organised, with a small group, so that personal attention was available at every stage. It was a success not only because Jules was adaptable and generous with materials, but also because she was friendly, encouraging and reassuring to us complete novices. Everyone left with something they would be proud to wear; quite an achievement in just 4 hours. (jj)

There are a number of courses from pottery, painting, crafts, etc.There's a lovely little vegetarian and vegan cafe downstairs open to the public.My mum took some pottery and craft classes not long after my dad died. She found everyone friendly and sympathetic. The whole experience helped her massively get her confidence back to go out again.The art house supports those who are lonely, amongst many others.Please support this place to save it from closing during lockdown. It is a vital service as well as a lovely place to visit.

I was more than surprised that they had only got a couple of complete kits, so I had to use Amazon again for what I needed. I also noticed that they now have self serve tills only. Took her to Hobbycraft and nearly cried at the delight on her face. She was so excited. Not only did they do patterns but a very good range of material too. Think we've got her for a good few years to come now she has a new lease of life. 🤗🤗
