Clear Links Support: what do users think?

Abi Laura: I have used Clear Links throughout my degree with the support of my mentor Jan. She has been absolutely fantastic with helping me better understand what is asked of me in assignments, as well as identifying what I need to work on. Jan also would take time to send me extra documents to encourage me, such as helping me to improve critical thinking and combat procrastination. Would highly recommend Clear Links to anyone who is considering that extra support.

Evie Galvin: Clear links support has helped me so much in my first year of university, as I struggle a lot with timekeeping / organisation due to ADHD, their support has kept me on track with deadlines. Would highly recommend, and a special mention to Lorraine for helping get me through my first year!

Caroline Anthony: Great support for me at university. My mentor is professional, friendly, approachable and providing me with great weakly support. My mentor is knowledgeable about mental health and offers me excellent advice.

Amie Dodgson: I have had support from clear links for over a year now and I don’t know where I would be without it. My mentor is Sharon and she is lovely. She helps me go through my uni timetable, talks through any issues I have with uni, gives me clear cut advice and listens to me. I always feel more prepared to start the week and more organised and my anxiety has decreased massively since having the extra support.
Clare Freeland: Clear links have been responsive and supportive throughout. They have listened to my needs and have been approachable and helpful when I needed to reconsider the support I was getting. I would have really struggled completing my studies without them and my Skills Tutor, RH, who was amazing.
Joel Tilling: Really useful, and helpful for any issues having with university work. If it's time management, accountability and with spelling, structure and everything else. Really helpful and highly recommend
Lisa Chester-Linskey: My weekly sessions have helped me SO MUCH, in so many different areas. My mentor has been friendly , approachable and knowledgeable from our first meeting and she is completely dedicated to assist me in every way she can to ensure my anxiety levels are kept at a minimum.I am so very grateful to have this support in place as I'm really not sure how I would have coped without it?I have faced a lot of obstacles over the past few months but I am coping and dealing with them a lot better, due to the fact that I have Emma, my Clear Links Support Mentor, to assist and re-assure me.She is truly wonderful and I cannot express how grateful I am for all she has done and continues to do, for me. Thank you so very much Xxxxx
Louis Greenland: Clear Links has supported me throughout my time so far at University and I cannot recommend them enough. Exceptionally nice people to receive mentoring from, my current Mentor has helped me throughout a lot of stress and anxiety and overall is a good friend I can relate to and have a close heart to heart with. With previous services, I felt ignored and misunderstood most of the time, but with Clear Links non of that is an issue at all.
Lautaytay: I received a tutor at Clear Links through my DSA support. I have found this service extremely helpful and received the guidance I needed to get me through my dissertation. The guidance I received was personalised to me which was incredibly useful as my tutor helped me find strategies and techniques that worked best with how I like to think and work.I am currently studying at Masters level, and due to the subjects I chose for my undergraduate and a levels, I've never written a dissertation. Coming in to maters level and having to write a dissertation was extremely overwhelming and daunting for me, however, thanks to my tutor at Clear Links, I am writing my dissertation and enjoying the whole process and confident with what I am doing. Couldn't recommend this service more if you feel daunted by academia and want to do well in your studies!
Josh Talbot: Excellent service
Ella Delargy: My mentor has really helped me to become organised with my work. It has motivated me to not leave my work to the last minute which has helped in reducing my stress.
Jennie-lee Jack: Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! With the support from Andreas Thrussell and loukia I am managing to complete my P.G.C.E.
Kerry Mead: I've been receiving support from Clear Links during my postgrad degree as part of my Disabled Students Allowance. On an administrative level the support has run smoothly from the start, and they really worked at finding a study skills tutor to match my needs with experience in and an understanding of my subject.I feel my tutor and I have built an excellent, supportive and warm relationship and it has definitely helped me get the most from my studies. As well as providing practical support and guidance, and helping me stay on track with deadlines and the demands of studying, my tutor has helped me have confidence in my academic abilities and ability to do well. Returning to study after a long break and knowing the challenges I face because of my diagnosis of ADHD meant that I wasn't sure if I could manage a postgrad, but I'm on track for a distinction, and in a large part that is down to the excellent support I've received.
Lo Taylor: Both the study support worker Liz and mentor Sharon that I was assigned through clear links have been amazing. They are super supportive and friendly. I love how down to earth and honest they are with me. The help they have offered so far has been invaluable while I’ve been at University and I couldn’t thank them enough.
Ryan Field: I have used them as a PHD. Candidate for proof reading and they provide an invaluable, fast and professional service.
Bumble Bea_x: I have been using clear links for the past year for my Msc, without clear links and cassie my support tutor, I wouldnt have done as well. I cant thank clear links and cassie enough for my support, 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
Letisha Blyth: The person I see is Very supportive and gives great advice when needed. Actively Listens to me. Not only provides support for issues relating to university situations affecting mental health problems. But support for issues relating to personal situations affecting mental health problems. They keep me at the centre of the session and support, me by asking and working in collaboration with me to plan and set days and times for the session. Also providing me with reminders through text or email for when the next session is.
Naomi Frazer: My mentor has supported me for the last 4 years, as I study remotely alongside full time work and with a disability. I honestly couldn't ask for a better or more understanding mentor
Conor Walthall: Clear Links are effective and very skilled in setting up students with appropriate mentors. I received support from them through the DSA, and they have been speedy, efficient and helpful throughout the whole process. Notable shout-outs to Nyle, Chris, Angela and Ryan who have all been incredibly helpful at different stages.
SHAUN CHURM: I have been with clear links now for 18 months. I have developed my academic writing skills, paragraph structure and spelling to be in a position to achieve about 70% in assignments. This is only done with the help and guidance from Clear Links.
Rebecca Brown: I have found my sessions extremely beneficial and they have helped me, so far, on my first year of University. They are a great way to let of steam and provide reason to have a break from studying.
Taylor Young: Always have received amazing support where I need it the most :)
Laura-Jayne Bishop: So supportive and helpful highly recommended
Reenie M: My tutor, Jamie has been a great support. He has helped me with my dissertation work to quantitive research - which i really struggle with as I have dyscalculia and ADHD. Jamie is a really patient, friendly and reliable tutor. I’ve been lucky where both of my experience with different tutors have been great. I definitely recommend asking for Jamie if you are prone to academic overwhelm and anxiety or struggle with quant work.
Neve Smith: I was referred to clear links through the disability student allowance as I have a history of mental illness which has impacted my studies. I was assigned a mentor who I have found incredibly helpful. He listens to what I have to say and doesn’t judge me, just gives his input and advice. Ive found having someone to talk to about university work and life extremely helpful and I really recommend this service.

Autism Centre for Supported Employment: what do users think?

Kim Dewar: Brilliant team have helped support my son for many years now, would have no hesitation in recommending this charity to anyone.
Kirsti Ahn: Excellent service. I sought support from them just before lockdown and they have gone above and beyond their role. Every week they have called to give support with my job search, as well as provide general emotional support during this crisis. They understand the difficulties autistic people face in day to day life and know how to communicate with us. Their approach is clear, warm, friendly and down to earth. I can't recommend them enough. I'm not sure what I would have done without them.

Eden Mobility Sheffield: what do users think?

Alan Holland: Took my elderly cousin for a riser recliner chair. From the initial consultation with Daniel in the sales office to dealing with Carol in the Sheffield branch every aspect of the experience was outstanding. Friendly professional and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Outstanding value I can recommend Eden Mobility with no hesitation.

Sharon Leeming: We used Eden for my mums stair lift , the service was excellent and professional And the price was fantastic, I did get other quotes for a stairlift and Eden were the best price and we can’t thank them enough. Highly recommended

Teresa Wheelhouse: Went into the Sheffield store to get some ideas and information on rise and recline chairs for my mum, the store manager nick was so nice and helpful I purchased a chair suitable for my mum, it got delivered yesterday and my mum is so happy with it, best purchase ever so would recommend this store and Eden as so professional and helpful, fantastic job the store manager does as this really helped me and my mum, thank you so much

Patrick Pinder (steelcityman): Served By the wonderful Jane Atkinson, very friendly and professional... extremely helpful... she made the shopping experience very enjoyable... would definitely recomend that shop(Wardsley precinct) to anyone with mobility needs ... thank you. 👍
Bronwyn Taylor: I went into Eden on halifax rd wadsley bridge, sheffield.today to enquire about a mobility scooter. Carol was there. She was amazing really helped me decided which one would be good for me. Did great demonstration. I finished purchasing one on credit. Ty so much Carol u were amazing
Jane Sharpe: Very disappointed that assistant could not help.
jill roebuck: Took my Dad in this shop today 04/08/21 was looking to buy a Rise and recline chair for him, the man was nice on approach, showing us the different chairs they had, then we said we had some other places to view, he rudely just left us stood there, not a word and went and sat down in ignorance we didn't know what to say, I would never go in this place again. Rudest person i've ever met. Glad my dad at over 80 year's old told him so as we left..
Sarah Jenkinson: Bought a mobility scooter from thils company 10 months ago and it kept stopping, so i reported the fault and they said there was nothing wrong with it. It kept happening so i rang them about 3 or 4 different times and still they insisted nothing was wrong and i got so fed up with it stopping and not getting no joy whatsoever from this unhelpful company i decided to ring another company to report the fault and they took it away to look at it and found out i needed a new motor which cost me 244 pound despite the scooter still being under guarantee so as far as i'm concerned eden should pay for it and i am absolutly discusted.by the way it treats it's customers.
Teresa Wheelhouse: Went into the Sheffield store to get some ideas and information on rise and recline chairs for my mum, the store manager nick was so nice and helpful I purchased a chair suitable for my mum, it got delivered yesterday and my mum is so happy with it, best purchase ever so would recommend this store and Eden as so professional and helpful, fantastic job the store manager does as this really helped me and my mum, thank you so much
Hazel Broadhurst: We went yesterday to Eden just to look at mobility scooters for my husband Paul.We ended up buying one which will arrive next week.Nick was absolutely brilliant with us explaining everything to us, because this was the first time we had looked at scooters at all.He was really patient and couldn't do enough for us.So Thankyou and well done.
Robert Jenkinson: Terrible place to buy a scooter, my disabled daughter spent her last £800 on a brand new scooter, after a couple of days it developed a fault so we returned it for a refund, the fella in the shop wasn't interested and said we had to report it to main office and get an engineer to have a look, that took 3 weeks, he messed about with the battery and said it should be alright now,but it kept cutting out intermittently, they sent an engineer out again which took 2 weeks,by this time we'd had the scooter for over a month, making it harder to get a refund, they did eventually agree to a replacement but believe it or not it had the same fault, my daughter asked for a refund again, we have reported this matter to local trading standards who sent them a letter on my daughters behalf, but they have ignored it, so now we are stuck with a £800 scooter which keeps cutting out, so my advice is go somewhere else, to a company that cares about the disabled, thanks for reading, disgusted father.
nicholas pearson: very professional and helpfull, will reccommend as amazing customer service
Dean Stevens: Sorted my dad out with a scooter thanks

John Justice: Really friendly and helpful
Jane Currier: Absolutely disgusting company wouldn't recommend them to no one keep away I got my scooter from these in August last year absolutely loved it it was my life line to the outside world went everywhere on it in May of this year I started having problems with it the free wheel knob kept coming up after reporting it and them coming out to fix it 8 times and me been without my scooter for about 5 week waiting for them to come out and fix it I didn't even get offered a replacement they finally sorted that then about a week later it the power would drop like a stone even though it was fully charged yet again no offer of a replacement the day they where coming out to fix it it was braking down again another 7 times they came to fix it which left me with out my scooter for about another 6 week I had finally had enough and got in touch with the mobility scheme who where brilliant and cancelled my contract with eden refunded my money and even paid for transport if I needed it now my husband who has the same model has started doing the same thing and they are treating him the same
Patrick Pinder (steelcityman): Served By the wonderful Jane Atkinson, very friendly and professional... extremely helpful... she made the shopping experience very enjoyable... would definitely recomend that shop(Wardsley precinct) to anyone with mobility needs ... thank you. 👍

Even though they ordered the motor which I told them to and which proved to be the wrong one, they very calmly sent it back and reordered the right part and fitted and tested everything for their original estimate.
