C Foster: My son has recently been referred querying ADHD and ASD so while waiting for his referral to go through we decided to search for a child therapist to advise us how we could support our son in the meantime. Sarah was absolutely amazing, she offered great support over the telephone and suggested simple things to put in place to help day to day life more manageable for our son. I felt she genuinely cared and showed so much empathy towards our situation. Its only been a week since we put new measure into practice but already we are seeing fantastic improvements! Jo Liddle: I sought Jane’s help when my eldest son suffered from a severe and unexplained fear of dogs. He was 8 at the time and he struggled with everything from play dates, trips to the park and family walks. Although I’d read about how to help him nothing seemed to work and his fear was affecting his ability to join in with his peers. Jane has a wonderful and warm nature. She quickly got to grips with my son’s fears and gently helped him (and me) with strategies to overcome these. My son thoroughly enjoyed the sessions. Despite his initial resistance , Jane had a wonderful way of making him feel really positive. I’m delighted to say that the sessions could not have been more successful. We now have our own dog who my son adores. We would not have made this progress without Jane and I’m so grateful to her for her help.
Alana Edwards: I came to see Jane McClaren for some help with my anxiety and how it affects me in a relationship. She has been really helpful and was really easy to talk to and work with. We have put together a plan of action that has really assisted me in managing my anxiety on a day to day level. Now I just need to find Mr Right to see if my relationship skills have improved too! I would highly recommend anyone to try CBT and see how it can improve your life. Its so simple but effective and makes perfect sense!
