The receptionist are rude and hang up the phone before you finish speaking. They need lessons in hospitality. They take advantage of the fact we have to use this service. I’ve gone to the one in Chesterfield because it’s miles better. Terrible service.
Rosie Dal-Molin: There are clearly not enough staff to answer calls and with no alternative to book an appointment this is simply not acceptable. I have been trying to book for three weeks but every time I call, I am eighth plus in the queue. I have waited for forty five minutes yet still no one actually spoke to me .I even called in to book face to face but was told there was a waiting list and that they would call me - so far, after a week, no one has. It is ridiculous that we have no alternative in Sheffield but to use a central service that is inaccessible. I am going to officially complain!

Mikaela Korth: As has already been said by others, I cannot get through on the phone. Why is there only one contact number available on the website despite there being several different departments? I was originally booked for a coil fitting which was totally wrong (i only wanted some pills!) And now I have waited nearly a month to get my results back and am having to now chase these up. This should not be happening, it has only caused me more stress wondering whether I have caught something or not. Doctors were friendly at least but yet again its the appointments and admin system which has let the service down.

Lalla: Had an appointment that was booked 2 weeks prior cancelled randomly by clinic staff, and was treated as a walk-in patient. No explanation nor apology for the wasted time I spent there, and I still have no idea how or why my appointment was cancelled without my knowledge at all. I had to wait 1.5hours to be seen to, was pressured by nurses and receptionists to not leave despite me expressing the desire to do so on several occasions, and then was treated badly by a nurse who was sarcastic and impatient with me, bringing me to tears.the procedure I went in for was botched again (i had been twice prior for this exact reason the weeks before and still have not had any success with my procedure) which left me in pain, and will make it harder for it to take place for the foreseeable future. I was promised a doctor to do the procedure and have not had one at all, therefore leaving me with people who have not been able to do it.I won’t be returning here again. Appalling service.
Florentina Luca: I called at 8:30, at 8:35 I was answered by a very nice and kind lady who made an appointment for me the same day. A very nice lady greeted me at the hospital reception. I didn't wait a minute after the time I was scheduled for. I met the best assistant who behaved exemplary with me! Thank you for your help! Do a wonderful job!
A B: Terrible inaccessible service, not the staffs fault but clearly there’s no funding anymore it makes me really sad to think. When I was younger it was so easy to get a self test kit or walk in for an appointment. Now I’ve tried for three weeks just to order a self test kit and every time it says to come back tomorrow. What has the nhs come to :( I don’t think I’ll ever get one as I don’t have access to my phone during 8-5 when I’m working so can never get there in time. So I could just be walking around with an sti that I could spread to others or could ruin my reproductive system 👍

Called up for advice, basically was told they dont give it!Oh and you should make sure you put the phone down before you start to moan about people! So unprofessional.
Connor Jay: Used to be so helpful.Could walk in pick up a self test kit do it put it in a box without having to speak to anyone.Apparently now you can only order it online or collect one.So I spent £20 in taxi to get a test as the website is utterly terrible and won't give me a test telling me to just book a appointment.To show how I used to have a symptom 3 days ago but no longer.I arrived to be turned away being told I had to order a test online.So I have to lie to the website to get a test or book a appointment.Which I've tried twice in the last week got through to someone at 8:34 to be told that they are fully booked 4 minutes after opening.And the 2nd time rang 12 times before getting through to someone to be told that they are fully booked agaiI start work at 12 tommorow so lets hope i can manage to get a apointment tommorow then i can spend another £20 to probably sit in a room tell my symprom show my dingle and then be made to pee in a cup to get it tested before any treatment can be given.If I could ya know do a self test would save alot of hassle I could just ring up and say hi I did a test this is the result can you get me in for treatment

k: Impossible to get an appointment. Told to call at 8am for appointment. In call queue for an hour to be told there's no appointments for 2 days, try again in 2 days time. Ridiculously impossible to make an important appointment when I have concerns!!I even emailed in with my concerns and asked to make an appointment. DC - South Yorkshire Cobras: When i first arrived for my appointment i was greeted by reception with a smile at 9:30 am, being a schitzophrenic i find it hard to cope around groups of people so i was escorted to a better seating area that was a bit quiter for me, upon my assessment i was treated accordingly and with respect and during the midst of a breakdown Lauren took the time to sit and help me through my anxiety which to me is above and beyond,great service and great staff!
Charlie Scott: Super helpful staff and didn't have to wait long to get through to reception to make an appointment. After having pain from my implant I found out it had been touching a nerve which made getting it out a way more anxious experience. The doctor was extremely helpful, did great job at keeping me calm and removed my implant super quick. Waiting times may be annoying but for a free service with amazing helpful staff I can't complain.

MOJEE CH: Me and my partner attended this clinic today for the 1st time for an early scan!! I cannot fault them whatsoever the staff if fabulous the place is nice and clean and they're so reassuring. I will definitely be back for a few more scans which I've seen on there website. Thank you so much.
Helen: Where to start. Such a wonderful, relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The staff are extremely welcoming and so helpful. Nothing is too much for them. Myself and my partner have been twice and each time it's just perfect. All areas are clean, the room where the scans are done are so clean and well presented. I love the little wax melts they have on too it's so relaxing, the lighting is perfect and being able to see our baby on the big screen and they talk through everything is so reassuring and beautiful. The staff are really accommodating and understanding, and extremely knowledgeable. They give you time to ask questions and discuss your pregnancy with them as well as having a laugh when baby is hiding behind their hands all through the scan!I cannot recommend this place enough. Just 100% perfect all round. A big thank you to the staff for always being smiley and friendly !
Carly B: Absolutely amazing place, came for an early gender scan and couldn’t have had a better experience, really glad we chose this clinic for the scan. We took our little boy in with us and the lady made a big fuss of him and we had lots of time in the room and we’re told the gender. We also got 2 lovely pictures and a little gift. The place itself is really clean and all staff were lovely. Will definitely be back for the 4d scan. Thank you xx
Kerry Reed: Meh. Went for a 4D gender scan for 20 minutes. The majority of the time was in normal 2D with only a few instances of looking at the 4D image. Lots of photos were taken for us to choose from at the end but most of them were rubbish and worse than what we got with the NHS. They also started packing us up after just 15 minutes. Aside from the little goodie bag you get we left there feeling pretty deflated.
Charlotte Orme: I went in for a gender reveal scan with my partner and could not recommend this clinic highly enough! We had such a wonderful time, the sonographer was so lovely and talked us through everything we were seeing on the scan. We had to go for a little walk to get baby to open his legs but managed to get a really clear image of the gender. We got to print 2 pictures and were given the option choose from all the ones that had been taken. We also received a little gift in the bag with our photos. I cannot thank the two ladies working that day enough for making our experience so wonderful. Thankyou!
Christy Hart: This is the third visit to the clinic in this pregnancy & every time has been fantastic. The clinic is lovely & clean & all staff friendly & welcoming. The sonographer is amazing & is very patient when baby is being awkward!! Would 100% recommend x
Lauren Sapcote: Came here for an 18 reassurance scan and a 4d bonding scan at 30 weeks. Had the same lady for both scans and she was lovely, made us feel at ease. For the 4d scan we paid for the 15mins and a heart beat bear and the images she got was okay but nothing clear so she allowed me to go and get something to eat and drink and go back for anither 15 mins to try again and we got much better pictures which i thought was really kind of her. She magaged to get around 130 images and videos which we was able to have on a usb stick. Would highly this place
Rowena Kis: Although my baby decided to cover their face and face the wrong way for my 4D bonding scan at 29 weeks, the staff were lovely and let me come back 3 times to try to get a clearer picture. We also came for a gender reveal scan at around 18 weeks and were impressed with the service. The clinic always feels clean and the staff are friendly. Definitely recommend!

Alicia Wright: Couldn't recommend this clinic more. My husband have been twice now once at 8 weeks for a reassurance scan and today (27 weeks for a 4D bonding scan). Both times the sonographer has been kind, and professional. Baby was covering their face so we were told to go on a little walk to get baby moving so we could get clearer images. We've come away with some beautiful images of our baby and a heart beat bear. Thank You!
Charlotte Crapper: My husband and I have been for three scans so far at Baby Ultrasound Clinic. Our first scan was a little early so we were asked to return a week later at no extra charge. We've also had our Gender scan at the clinic.The clinic is well organised, clean and efficient! We would absolutely recommend it and will be returning for a 4D scan when the time comes.The sonographer is great and makes you feel very relaxed. You aren't pushed into purchasing any extras, although next time I'll absolutely be getting a heartbeat bear!Again, I would absolutely recommend here for any scans!

Beth Monaghan: Came here yesterday for a 4d scan, and could not have hoped for better service. Baby wasn't playing ball, but the sonographer really tried to get good pics. She also fit us in an hour later after a walk to see if we could get baby to move. When we returned the sonographer spent lots of time getting some really fab pics and videos which then were all given to us on a USB stick. She also really took her time in completing measurements and checking baby. Highly recommend this place, we have had some bad experiences with rushed ultrasounds and now will.not be going anywhere else !!

ADELE HADFIELD: Our lovely baby boy was born 11 days ago. He is our precious IVF baby, created at CARE Sheffield. The team are absolutely wonderful, so responsive and kind. We had 4 eggs collected and only 1 survived to a 5 day blasto. Fortunately the little one implanted and he arrived healthy and happy on the 18th July 2021. Can’t recommend them enough. They brought us so much hope and confidence after multiple losses. The clinics are clean and welcoming and during Covid their systems were safe and reassuring. Good luck if you’re reading this. X

We didn’t think it would be fair to name all four the same!The “care” that we got was second to none ! Even after the birth of the girls, my wife still got on-going support ! Claire Fenelon: So far a very positive experience at CARE Sheffield. It's very important to have a point of contact within the clinic and CARE Sheffield are excellent at this which has meant that my questions are all answered, I don't feel like I'm drifting along with the potential to miss something important as I have at least one person there being proactive for me - this is not something I do everyday! so having expert guidance and a friendly, helpful, can-do attitude available makes this difficult journey a whole lot easier.
Pamela Wragg: I have recently visited this wonderful clinic in which my hopes were restored as having visited other IVF clinics where I was treated like a cash cow, the care and service I received here was outstanding. From the reception I received to the first appointment with a lovely Doctor (Dr Pesas) I was won over by their kindness and professionalism. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who has become disenchanted with IVF clinics. A small heavenly oasis.

Giorgia Pearce: I felt 2 small lumps in my left breast. Went for an ultrasound and they said they couldn’t find anything, then went to a private clinic a month later and there were indeed 2 lumps. Also, they refused to scan the other breast when I asked and would only scan the breast where I reported feeling the lumps. How is it possible that they would only scan one when it takes a few minutes and is important!?!

S. you: Excellent staff, right from the reception staff to the nurses and to the doctors, were all really friendly, professional and put your mind at ease.1 criticism I would like to say is that I think you should be able to choose if you want to see a female or male doctor during your examination. Other than that I cannot fault the service I was provided by the outstanding team.
