Light Cinema Sheffield: what do users think?

anju david: Thanks to Debra and team for welcoming Volunteer staff Coach Deno from Light Cinema Bradford with warm welcome and tour of the place. Coach Dennis is diagnosed with an inherited condition called the Fragile X Syndrome affecting intellectual, behavioural, language and social development. First impression by Dennis is Wow! Fab it is big, clean lots of nibble, snack and hot food with drink. Comfy seat with plenty of leg room. Coach wants to visit all the LIGHT cinema in UK. He is the First vulnerable adult to work as a volunteer at Light cinema - Bradford with Julie Monk and is very proud to be part of Light family. Inspite of been busy Debra came down to speak to me. She went up to Coach after the film was over to speak to him with her caring smile. Her supervision with her staff is spot on. The Light staff are caring and friendly to all but what makes them stand out is that extra mile they go to make vulnerable children and adults comfortable, treat them for who they are. They are vigilant, approachable and adaptable to any issues or barriers. Coach Dennis open invitation to Debra and team to visit the Light in Bradford.

John Whitehouse: Comfortable seating and table with plenty of room for people to get past without disturbing your viewing. A pleasant visit with all you could want in the way of food and drink wise.

Isobel Edwards: Possibly the best cinema experiences I’ve had. Seats and legroom are massive and also very comfortable. Food is really great and we loved taking the pizza into the film with us. Cocktails are quite pricey

Jessica Jackson: Attended for toddler time. Lovely and bright space set-up with toys to entertain little ones before the film. Fantastic deal with the toddler combo (popcorn, drink, snack). My toddler especially loved the super wide armchair seating

Ally Cooke: Visited for the first time for a baby showing of Wakanda Forever. Great idea! The reclining seats were great with lots of legroom. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning
Ryan Jamieson: I haven't been to the cinema in years. TheLight was a great place to break that run.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
tina slack: First time visiting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and safe.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
mark fairhurst: Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
shanali Thirunavukkarasu: Great seats, great food, nice bar. Bit pricey but worth it.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Andrew Coulston: Went to see book club with my wife.Love this place very relaxing, great seats and good uninterrupted view of the screen.Always have a pint of lager and a glass of wine to watch the film.
Wendy Doyle: Went to see Dungeons an Dragons , there were 4 of us in total to see the film, I know that cinemas are a treat but found it a little expensive . However it was clean, comfortable an the staff friendly
eany meany: Great prices, good coffee and the most helpful staff, a light cinema is what a light cinema does
Dmitri Armitage: Watched guardians of the galaxy 3 there. The seats were comfy and had a nice experience.
rachael lorenza: Food is really expensive and limited for children. My son went without dinner because the options were so poor . I say as a parent if your child is a fussy eater don’t expect to be able to eat here . Manager u need to re think your kids menu , children want more option than what u offer . Shocking
Mike Halliwell: Nice sized rooms and easy booking. Clean and tidy when we went in the afternoon.
Chrissie Heavey: Good seating. Bar food. Very expensive
Tom Levick: Toddler showing, very handy to give an experience like this.
Paula Hanson: Staff are always polite, helpful and friendly good atmosphere.
Sandeep Amberkar: Great location and affordable price for a great cinema experience. Their eateries have improved as well, so you can get a proper meal before or after your movie night.
Torvin: Conveniently located on the Moors of Sheffield City Centre. Suprisingly a great cinema, the seat sizes are generous, can slide backwards into comfortable positions and extremely spacious leg room. Also the seats have a sharing table to let you put down your food and popcorn which is refreshing to have. Screens are decent sized. Didn't dine there but there is also a small restaurant in the lobby. Went on a Saturday evening, maybe it was the film we were watching was a few weeks old but the room we were in was not busy at all with very few customers. Overall I would recommend this place and is better than a lot of other chain cinemas.
Carlos Muñoz: Although this cinema is a bit pricey, paying those extra pounds is absolutely worth it! Truly comfortable seats! This facility is just amazing!
Ian Lamberton: Felt a bit strange being in a recliner where the legs raise but the back did not drop to compensate. Also they are not powered, which is not really keeping up with local competition.I was hoping the screen would have been a bit bigger to help distinguish it from other cinemas, especially being a new build, would have been great to see an IMAX.Had a staff member come in and announce the film. Unusual but a nice touch.New Wednesday deal sounds good for a film + pizza for £15 but when I was charged £17 it was a bit dissapointing, particularly when the explanation was that it was a new film ( came out 14 days ago!).
halil çağlar: Noice!!
Betty Wylie: Clean nice staff
Lucy Kent: I visited yesterday to watch super Mario brothers film and I loved the film and the cinema as well. I got tickets straight away as well as my pop corn and drink. The service was fast and the staff were polite and welcoming. The venue itself is clean and modern, with lots of modern and classic film posters dotted about.I'm definitely coming again
david hales: Good experience. The refreshments were very expensive as per but didn't detract from the great facilities, friendly and helpful people and comfortable viewing G.

ODEON Luxe Sheffield: what do users think?

Elliott Armitage: Much nicer cinema since it was revamped. Used to be a bit of a dump and not on the best road ever either, always some scrubbers hanging around nearby. Venue itself is good though, cinemas and seats make for great viewing, comfortable recliners and the food as far as cinema pricing goes is pretty good.

Patrick Mead: Excellent cinema with very friendly staff, went to see the new Thor film with my girlfriend and the recliner seats😍 perfect. The seats are single but can be made into couple ones. Very big foyer area for buying tickets and snacks. Booking online is easy and staff are always happy to help 10/10 would recommend of seeing a film with girlfriend, friends or group events.

Keyur Pandya: I recently visited the Odeon Luxe Sheffield and was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The theater itself was spacious and comfortable, with great sound and picture quality.

Leslie Laws: A very modern cinema. Very helpful staff. Would visit again next time I am in Sheffield

Petru Mugurel Iancu: Is an unique experience. To watch a movie from a recliner is something. Is like you are in your living room + fresh popcorn. Highly recommended.

A Moeen: Loved the recliners. Had to watch a 3 hr long movie and I was well rested in those seats. Popcorn quality could be improved

Cindy Callander: We went to watch the avatar way of water 🌊 absolutely brilliant the staff were amazing as I had my blind daughter-in-law with me we needed the audio description and they got that promptly for her and showed us were to go etc
Kai Simpson: Invested in a monthly unlimited pass, £15 a month, and we go enough to make it beyond worth it. Otherwise it's a bit pricey. Has all the main films, and the screens are nice. The recliners are great, you can practically lay all the way down, and on many of them you can lift up the divider, turning it into more of a sofa which makes it nicer when watching with your significant other(s).
John Cassidy: We went to your venue because the other cinema stopped showing the movie before I could get time off work. The staff were very welcoming and helpful they showed us to the correct screen, and the toilets were spotless. The chairs were comfy, and the movie was great.Thank you for a great experience.
super trman: Staff are brilliant, very helpful.
Margaret Broughton: Love this cinema. The reclining chairs make viewing so comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Although during recent visit we noticed the toilets were clean although doors locks not always worked as should these may need looking into? Overall no other complaints and shall continue visiting in future.
Carol Peluso: The food is not so good and the rooms are very small, also the sound system looks old
Robert Loxley: Cheap and cheerful for anything under 2 hrs after that it gets uncomfortable
OBINNA ANTHONY NWOSU: Was a very nice experience, cozy environment, and nice sound.
Karl Beacham: Now whilst I was sat digesting how much I've just paid for two tickets I was preparing to unleash some awful trade of abuse about how disgusting it is that it costs £18.50 a ticket. But, then I wound my neck in, went and watched the film and actually had an enjoyable experience.Firstly Beth and Ruby were awesome. Had a great crack with Beth, she's a winner.Secondly as far as cinemas go it was pretty clean and tidy.Thirdly I think the high price puts off the "talkers" which means it was pretty quiet.Fourthly lots of smaller screens is nicer than one giant screenFifthly the seats are pretty dopeSo yes it's ridiculously expensive, but actually it might work. Although I won't be going back and paying nearly twenty quid for a ticket. At least not until I get a job
Alicia Kirkland: I came here on Saturday to watch the mario film we had a great time the recliner chairs are so comfortable
Matt Price: I love this place, well before I moved away. It’s small in size but private and clean. The problem is there’s a huge lack of customers. No one really goes here. Small screens but loads of empty seats. They don’t work hard enough getting people through the door.
Lyndsay Monks: Great facilities, very helpful staff, and really comfortable and spacious seating.
Nigel Sanderson: A great modernization to my favourite cinema in Sheffield. Everything feels and looks a bit nicer while still being almost affordable! Motorized seating is a great idea but slightly annoying because of the noise (especially if sat next to your eight year old). Now much more expensive than it use to be, what isn't though
Arlene Mathews: Recliner chairs are comfortable and staff is amazing.
Danielle Henderson: The only way to see a film, so comfy. The snacks where also delicious and a wide choice.
Vic Graubaek: Love the good old odion, expensive but everything is these days
R S: Since the refurbishment the Odeon has got its act together.. Park on a side street near the Hallam Uni and walk along Arundel Gate. Reclining chairs I'd love to have at home in a smart cinema..
John Lowson: Great film great seat however £18+for 1 ticket ridiculous and they wonder why it was empty.
Kim Jong Long Dong: Been many times both before and after it became "luxe". Price is still second lowest in Sheffield to my knowledge, only being beat by VUE at meadowhall. When you combine the distance and quality of the cinema, ODEON beats it in every way. The seats are massive and comfy, so much leg room, great screens Etc. The price is comparable to the VUE, but the quality is more comparable to the LIGHT (better in my opinion actually). Possibly the best cinema in Sheffield.Edit: still a great cinema, but price has increased a decent bit since my original review, it is now one of the more expensive unfortunately, but I'll keep coming back.
Paul Mosley: Most comfortable cinema I've visited
Child of God Forever: Prices are too high for a recliner seat and the food but they do have a good movie selection.
Tita Guette: Good 👍

Cineworld Cinema Sheffield: what do users think?

Jason Candy-torn: The place is always clean and tidy stuff. Always willing to help you. Seating is very comfortable and there is lots of different types of seating for you to go and see VIP large screen the 4DX screen is my best. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Food is a little bit overpriced but what do you expect it to cinema?

Sam Ealey: Excellent cinema, very spacious with plenty of room around the comfortable seats along with cup holders. Lots of screens and choice. The negatives are poor quality 3D and no prices on drinks which makes you queue up to ask the price which i guess is to trap you into buying them.

girish chakravarthy: Kind, humble and friendly staff. And theatre experience is the best, one of many reasons to renew my cineworld unlimited(16£) monthly membership. The best deal in UK❤️ for movie buffs
angel mouse: Easy parking access outside front and back. Good food service. Self service ticket or at concession stand.
Sleepless Nights: We went VIP to see fast x and totally loved the whole experience.
Habib Aleinzy: Top Notch Cinema Experience They Don’t Lie When They Say It’s Good 🔥
David Fenton: I always love my visits here. Staff are very well trained and customer service is usually excellent. The cineworld monthly card is fantastic value for money if you enjoy young to the cinema regularly. Visit more than ombre a month and you're saving money. All the screens at the cinema are very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The VIP experience is well worth the extra money. Treat yourself.
Mike Crawshaw: Great cinema. Massive, with a huge number of screens, great options for quick ticket pickup, and well laid out with a great feel.But... cringingly expensive.Parking is also a nightmare (esp on evenings and weekends) due to the car park being shared with numerous restaurants, entertainment complexes, a Park & Ride and the Sheffield Arena. I have turned round and left on more than one occasion after missing a movie start time due to no parking being available.
Andrew Webster: When watching the film it's get very cold so had to go to the toilet half way through the film
Jack McGregor: Very clean, average prices for a cinema and helpful staff.
Alen Alexx: Best and cheap place for fun and entertainment. Best film experience you can have in the UK. Also, the only place, I can watch Indian movie releases.
Antony Ukken: Great ambience and wonderful atmosphere. But Found a few seats broken inside the screens. But I belive the management will be fixing it soon.Overall experience: Fantasic
YT SolSpencer: Experience depends on what movie you see tbh, the popcorn was kinda stale too, saw guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 in 4dx and it was too much, 4dx while cool, feels like you're in a car crash
Simon Gillott: Always a great selection of movies and treats to eat while you watch
c bu: Open after Covid, nice place to go with free parkings.
DENNY JAMES ALUKKA: Cineworld Cinemas is a leading UK multiplex cinema chain and the best way to watch a movie. Watch a huge range of the latest films in comfortable screens in ...Cineworld currently operates in the UK, Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Israel and the US. ..Good cinema, with a broad range of films to choose from. Ample parking. The only annoying thing is when you're selecting your seats on the screen it's easy to get mixed up and book tickets right at the front instead of the back and vice versa. Should be clearer.Good cinema, with a broad range of films to choose from. Ample parking. The only annoying thing is when you're selecting your seats on the screen it's easy to get mixed up and book tickets right at the front instead of the back and vice versa. Should be clearer.
Fahiza Majeed: I went there to watch a regional movie, good quality services available.
mark jones: Great experience imax
Ashlyn R V: My friend forgot her jacket and house keys and realised that only after almost 30minutes i.e midnight , fortunately we went back and the staff were about to leave, still they helped us to find them back. They were very kind and considerate to us . I would really like to thank Ms. Danny and Mr. Steve for their effort and kindness, so that we could be at ease... Thanks very much guys .
Gemma Murray: Amazing as always
Ania Wozniak: Mario in 4DX was so much fun!!
John Brown: Spacious cinema.Over priced tickets and food

Showroom Cinema: what do users think?

Barry Robbins: Very friendly film-related complex with an adjacent cinema (Showroom) and workshop/meeting areas. Good space with excellent facilities and friendly staff. Attended an awards evening recently and found it to be excellent. Very close to a central car park. Highly recommended.

MrMagicJackson: Fantastic time at the Showroom Cinema. Gorgeous lunch followed by a really good cinema experience. Will definitely do this again soon.

Angie Winterbottom: This is my favourite cinema in Sheffield. I have seen so many obscure films there over the years, and I am grateful it continues on. If there is a film that lingers in my brain, and makes me ponder it for months, or for years, there is a very good chance I saw it at The Showroom.

Shahram Fazel-Jahromy: I visited the bar area only. It was very roomy well spaced. It is also accessable easily by public transport whether it being tram, train or buses as it very close to all as well as the city centre. And it is only five minutes walk from where I live.

Lewis Pontremoli: Great independent cinema that is a vital addition to the area. I loved watching some new exciting films through the link to the bfi London film festival, and all the other events they put on besides.

Amar: Watched The Thing on Friday night. Great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prefer this cinema to others.
Jorge TM: Lovely cozy cinema. Great indie movie selection. I've seen some high quality international movies there.
Alan Boshier: We've been going here for over 10 years and it remains one of the very best independent cinemas in the country; at a time when other arthouse "chains" are showing fewer and fewer movies of that type and programming more like upscale multiplexes, the Showroom remains true to its independent roots with an eclectic selection of films from all over the world. Long may it continue!
Chris Bronsdon: I'm really pleased this independant cinema has survived Covid etcFriendly staff, and you can take a beer from the bar in to watch the film! 👍🍺
Erin Fields: Great independent cinema with cosy theaters, nice food, and a great workspace. Sound and picture quality were excellent.
Alyson Parker: My favourite venue in Sheffield to meet friends, have brunch/ lunch watch a film
Deborah Baker: We had a pleasant evening at the Showroom Cinema. The cafe is very nice with good service. We had a cup of coffee before the film. The cinema has a range of films that are not necessarily mainstream but are very interesting. It is a good place to relax.
James F: Excellent independent cinema. They show the usual films any other cinema would put on and smaller films that you wouldn't see anywhere else. They also re run classic films. If you're under 26 you can also get any film for £4.50.
Buckso Dhillon-Woolley: Love the cinema here, we travelup from Derby as we do like to support the smaller places PLUS as an Actor its nice to watch films from other more interesting places not just boring old showcase etc!
Baban Kadam: The best
Oscar Maarsh: This is probably the world's greatest cinema. I've lived all over Europe and never encountered a better one. If you live near this place you're lucky. They put on excellent films. Absolute gem, love it.
Richard Tinsley: Great venue, comfortable and the food was lovely. My earlier comments were for somewhere else I had been and not for the Showroom.
Phil J: Fab independent cinema. Good food as well👍
Iain Macaskill: Always a nice place to come.
Kourin Yamada: Lovely cinema showing small yet interesting and funny movies from all ober the world in different languages for lots of people. The cafe and bar has excellent service and a wife variety of food
Glenda Barber: Love Thursday early door's
Pedro Boomer: Great place for films
Tom Wilson: This place is great, went here for the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival. Good choice of drinks that you can take into the cinema.
Kylie Noble: A favourite place in Sheffield. Quality selection of international movies, reasonably priced tickets & a lovely cafe which is cosy. I have started going most weeks to see a movie.
Gerry Sefton: SHAFF weekend at the showroom is always awesome 😁
Callum Dodsley: Nice little cinema. Nothing fancy but reasonably priced and offers a good selection of films. Food and drink options are good.
Brad Hancock: A great little cinema. I always come back to watch movies in this cinema due to the friendly staff and cheap snacks. They show not only big name films, but also movies from different countries and lesser known films. If you're under 26 you can also get £5 tickets.

Curzon Sheffield: what do users think?

Tee Edwards: What a hidden gem this place is. Love, love, love this place. Took my niece to watch Sing2. She’s never been to the cinema, only 5yr old. She absolutely loved every minute. Staff were brilliant, place was really clean and we both can’t wait to come back. No plastic waste with the tubs of sweets and popcorn. Lovey mocktail for me. The building itself started life as a house! In the 18th century. Then a bank. And now the best cinema in town. Thank you.

Kat: The tickets were much cheaper than other cinemas so I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely art deco building and plush decor. Large, comfortable seating and friendly staff. Definitely going back here as the location is good for parking and restaurants and bars

Kelicia Igbinazaka: My only regret is not finding this gem sooner. Can’t recommend this place enough, lovely little cinema with great food (I highly recommend the fresh cookies), wonderful staff, great interior decoration and clean, comfy seats. The theatres themselves are very small and so you really feel immersed when you’re watching a movie. Watched Everything Everywhere All At Once there and it was just perfect.

Han (Han): Really nice cinema, nice interior inside and a cosy cinema :) friendly staff too.

Peter Wright: 3 small but luxury screens. Take in your drinks from the bar and enJoy the reclining seats. Also benefits from a rooftop bar and lounge. Curzon also offers memberships so you can enjoy multiple films a week for just a flat monthly fee. Theatre performances from the National Theatre are regularly live streamed too as well as mainstream movies and more arthouse fare.
Sherree Gilbert: Amazing place amazing staff . Felt really welcomed. Fab prices
Christine Yeardley: Comfy seats. The staff are very nice. Pity there is no gluten free food available . Otherwise my friends have a choice of snacks and food.
Robin Burn: Hidden gem, cheap tickets and beautiful building
Bita K: Cozy and conveniently located in the heart of the city centre. Nice selection of drinks and clean and comfortable seating area. We were were served with our ordered drinks once we sat comfortably in our seats. Snack selections limited and on the higher end price.
Tobias Brecker: Great venue, great customer service. It's a bit more expensive for snacks than other venues. It does serve alcohol. Maybe more a venue to go on with a date than take young kids and buy popcorn and a 330ml drink
Emanuel Meduri: Great local cinema!
Adam West: The nicest cinema, not the cheapest, but is there such a thing as a cheap cinema these days? It's a mellow and relaxing place. Well worth a visit.
Catherine Heywood: An amazing cinema! It was the first time we've been here, but we'll definitely be back. The whole atmosphere is amazing & the staff are so lovely x
Matt: Easily the best cinema in Sheffield... probably one of the best in the UK. Quiet, calm, comfortable seats, fantastic sound and great screen. Proper cinema for those that enjoy proper films.
ChatterCat 01 (Em): Lovely cinema and the staff are very welcoming, lovely and friendly. Just how a place should be really!! 😊
Terence Mcgarry: Lovely little picture house , ,very intimate. Good facilities
Matt Fern: Warm, friendly& efficient service.
Carole Chelliah: Beautiful place with excellent staff, polite abs welcoming
Tim Jennings: Lovely space. Great vibe and beautiful surroundings with comfy seats. Great film experience
Belinda Whatley: What a super cinema reception is like a hotel with a bar at the front super trendy staff are extremely welcoming the screens are reasonable size but not too big and the seating is very comfortable with top two rows having twin seatsI totally loved this cinema top films showing too I would highly recommend it
Zing Siang Lee: Love the atmosphere and friendly staff. The cinema seating is quite spacious and has a tiny table to put your drink on. It is a nice after-work relaxation spot.
H Chalmers: Preferred cinema of choice in Sheffield. Cosy seats, lovely staff. Just wish there was a wider selection of films.
Richard Hammond: Lovely welcoming cinema experience every time.
Rachel Cabral: Such an amazing cinema with a very friendly staff! Absolutely stunning!
Saira J: I didn't watch a film here, but met friends for drinks and light food.have to say, I was extremely impressed by the building and interior, such a lovely place!

The Village Screen: what do users think?
Meera Rose: Visited the beautiful Peak Cavern to watch The Village Screen’s showing of The Lost Boys, had the most incredible time! Such a unique cinema experience in the cave; staff were wonderful and friendly and the venue looked incredible. Also the pop up food was delicious! Such a great event and would love to attend again 😊🖤
A Khatoon: Fab experience would recommend!
sammy blakely: Amazing experience, the staff were very kind and helpful when my deck chair broke. Couldn’t recommend more - cant wait to see some more films through The Village Screen!
Deborah Richards: Fab experience, we loved the atmosphere and beautiful setting. The silent disco was a brilliant way to build up the atmosphere before the film. My only suggestion would be to either reduce the cost of the alcohol (£19) for a not very good bottle of red or change the rules and allow byo. I'll definitely come to another screening if you come back to Kenwood Hall, and bring more friends.. it was so much fun!
Charlotte Kershaw: Me and my boyfriend went to watch the Full Monty at Kenwood Hall and it was a great experience. Took our own fold up chairs and blankets and could choose our own spot on the field and we had a good view of the screen. Volume was high enough to listen to the film however, not a big fan of headphones as were hurting my ears after a bit. We didn't buy anything from the food stalls, not really anything that we was interested in was going to be there so brought our own sandwiches, drinks and snacks. Also there was free street parking which was really good. All in all we had a lovely evening and we would go to another outdoor cinema in the future for sure.
Louise E: Fantastic night at Kenwood Hall for a silent disco followed by The Full Monty which never fails to lift the mood! Well organised, friendly staff, easy to book and a fabulous setting!
Poppy Barber: The manager was very friendly and helpful, the setting was amazing, the screen and sound were high quality. The downside was they ran out of almost every snack (popcorn, chocolate, crisps ect) before the film had even started, not ideal when they advertise a delivery service to your seat. It doesn’t seem fair to prohibit people bringing their own snacks and drinks and not have enough stock for attendees to buy. Would like to attend again, and have popcorn too!
Mary Tear: I had an absolute brilliant night at the village screen watching The Princess Bride. The staff were all incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. The cave was so cool and decked out with lights and chairs. We got a snuggle package which was great! (Blankets, hot water bottles and sweeties!) the atmosphere was really cool and we loved the food vendors on offer just a short walk from the cave. I can’t wait to bring more people here!
ash EJJALA: I am a self confessed avid movie fan and this pop up cinema can challenge any other run-of-the-mill cinemas and will win hands down. I don't think I have ever even heard of such a thing any where else, not just in the UK but anywhere else where they play THE ABSOLUTE CLASSICS that have made history. We went to watch Pulp Fiction on 05/05/22.I don't think I fully understood it when it was first released not only because of the non linear narration and screenplay but also the various different, ( with some characters very thick and in the same frame in a scene ) accents - given the fact that I was a mere teenager in the mid nineties, still in college.I don't think I was any more wiser last week with the same issues but it was the experience of being able to see it in such a spectacular setting. I wouldn't label it as a venue as some of the non paying guests to watch the movie along side you are the birds that fly in through the mouth of the cave.Did I say it was Spectacular? If I didn't can I say it over and over again a few thousand times!
Kelly Croutear: We went to see Dune at Peak Cavern and absolutely loved it! The event was really well organised, and the staff on site were really helpful and made the experience really fun. The street food and bar were all top notch too, we'd definitely go to a Village Screen event again!
Carla Barton: Absolutely wonderful evening, the staff was amazing and getting to our spot was effortless. The sound system was amazing and the visit from the elf with the personalized gift to my daughter made the experience extra special. I can't express how much fun this was for me and my family and definitely recommend:)
Darren Furniss: Makes a change to the usual cinema trip, the surroundings really added to the experience and the ease of app based service was really excellent. Couldn’t recommend more
R Chohan: Brilliant experience. The whole event is organised so well, we visited the Village Screen based at Peak Cavern for a Halloween movie. The staff are great, the sound was crystal clear, the screen big enough for everybody to see…they even included a live actor to scare the guests - super fun!I would recommend this event to everyone, can’t wait to experience it again!
Alex Gardner: If you’re wondering what to do for Halloween / Christmas then check out The Village Screen. Live music, fab food and even a mulled cider to warm the cockles. We loved the cajun chicken, bhajis and samosas from The Bhaji shop… just scrummy! 😋🎥 🎞 🍿 🎥 🎞 🍿 🎥 🎞 🍿 🎥 🎞
Alison Shipman: What a fabulous night at Peak Cavern for Addams Family Values. Amazing pre-film food choices as well drinks and snacks delivered to your seats. It you haven't experienced a Village screen event already then you really need to add it to your list. Truly unique
lydia allison: It was nice but I wasn't blown away - the screen isn't very big and there is a very limited choice of food and drink.
Jim Lockwood: A lovely evening watching Moulin Rouge at the Kenwood Hall. - great street food, great atmosphere and a great setting.
Ruth Abrahams: Went to the Kenwood Hall screening of Moulin Rouge recently. Had a fantastic night, the area was lit beautifully and the food and drink on offer were great. Will definitely attend again!
Jordan Adams: Great atmosphere, prices were reasonable and you could order from your phone which was convenient. Would do again.
Mattie Winder: Absolutely great set-up at Kenwood Hall (to see Grand Budapest Hotel). Screen was huge, volume was perfect. Loads of space to put your chairs (or hire them if you need). Great choice of food and drinks which you could order from your phone. The atmosphere was fab - definitely helped by the beautiful lighting. I would really recommend!
Karen Clough: I went to The Village Screen at Peak Cavern fully open minded as to what I was going to experience and it certainly didn’t let me down.Everyone was helpful, polite and respectful, we’re still in a time where Covid is playing havoc but it didn’t once dampen the experience. My very good friend has said that this will stay with them forever, if that doesn’t tell you that you need to go then I don’t know what will!!

Catherine Purkis: Excellent cinema.
hayley horton: Great value
Katie Elsey: Cheap tickets, comfy seats, clean, what more could you want !!
Dragan Razvan: 👏👏👏
holly S: Absolutely filthy, will go to the cineworld at centertainment next time.
Shereen's Aloe Lifestyle: Went to see 3d - Guardians of the Galaxy with my children and a friend of my youngest. They really enjoyed it. Cinema was large, warm and staff were great. I was exceptionally busy with it being bank holiday and they looked short staff, however they were still helpful. The price is great aswel compared to others in sheffield we use.
Nathan Sawyer: Usually watch films at cineworld but tired Vue for the first time, cinema looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks and the toilets were outdated and disgusting. Will not be coming back.
Dafydd R: My first visit to Vue in the Meadowhall. The staff was very friendly and the toilet and viewing room was very clean. Quite happy to visit again 😊👌
Tracey Ryan: Great film we all enjoyed. Although had a load of kids next to us talking and all taking it in turns of constantly getting up and we were having to move all the time.
Danielle Freeman: Fantastic afternoon. Staff were polite and very helpful with my toddler buggy. Made it a pleasant visit. Thanks
Kalina Mileva: Great for the money, not the most comfortable seats but can’t expect much for the price you pay. Good service, always friendly.
Joel Ockwell: Watched Air at this cinema in one of the smaller screens - the seats were filthy and desperately need washing.
Aghogho: Located in a busy mall so there are lots of other activities around. Affordable tickets. Nice viewing experience
Jonathan Griffin: Tickets use to be £5 for any seat (excluding VIP) but now the price depends on where you sit, which is a shame really. Staff always seem friendly. Great seats as they recline but does cause a problem with the people in front and behind you. Alot cheaper than the other cinemas around and parking is much easier than Valley Centertainment.
Stuart Hall: Cheap cinema, what more do you need!
Ellie Young: Would recommend you do not book the VIP seats. We were sat in screen 2 row K and we had to move to the savers seats at the front. Absolutely no leg room and so uncomfortable, not VIP at all. This cinema needs some money spending on it and a good clean 🤢
EBW&NCWA: Nice cinema

Film Unit Cinema: what do users think?
Eleanor Bradley: Absolutely love going here, so great for students and an amazing idea! The films they put on are of great variety and it's a very relaxed atmosphere
Oliver Evans: Really good selection of films and an enjoyable experience. Saw Drive there and loved it
Lisa Maltby: Went here for a introduction lecture from the ELTC. Not much left space
Ľudmila Kučíková: Although a part of students' union (located in the Students Union Building), this cinema is also available to general public and offers screenings of new releases just several weeks after their premier which is pretty good especially considering the cheap price (£3/ticket). I believe it is just a regular lecture theatre, but there is not as much difference to a standard cinema, especially considering sound which was pretty decent.
Tal Tal: They showed my movie here in front of the medical students and doctors the sound system here is fantastic the screen is amazing thankyou to all involved it was a fantastic night that won't be forgotten
Liam Raine: Great price, great atmosphere, minuscule seats. I'm 6'2 and can only sit at the very front row.
emma parry: Great value for films. Really family friendly and you can get great pic n mix in the students Union shop!
Lydia Gordon: The staff are so friendly, the movies are awesome and so varied and the tickets are sooo cheap!!!!
Eleanor Clarke: Freezing cold. Afua Hirsch was brilliant but evening ruined by being so cold
Ian Kerr: Great programme of films, run by enthusiastic volunteers, and it'd cheap, only 3 quid a ticket
Nina Anin: Nice student cinema in a big lecture theatre. Shame the seats are so small, but the prices are cheap and it shows good films.
lord_moriarty: Nice selection of films but awfully small seats.
Marine Redon: Great student cinema. Runs professionally and at a competitive price!
Francesca Leach: Chairs for tiny people but can't argue with the price and film selection
Timmy Agboola: Top notch
Murali Chidambaram Veerabahu: The last row is a little cramped. Unisex toilet opposite the entrance.
Sahand Simaei: Good place and very decent prices but it’s loosing a star because of the tight seats but it’s not a big deal, the staff are amazing and very welcoming overall great place to be highly recommended.
Nick Kennard: Great experience from this student cinema providing a mix of new and classic films. Only drawback is the seats are a little short on leg room
Rachel Ripley: Has all the hit films only a few months after release, plus niche interest pieces, documentaries and foreign films. I've seen films I would never otherwise have watched, because at £3 there's nothing to lose. Cinema quality screen and sound, very professionally run by student volunteers
Eduardo Pérez Guagnelli: Value for money, after a day of work on Wednesday. Very nice!
Drew McLaughlin: A charity run by students, they do a great job. Makes the cinema affordable!
