Sarah Wright: It’s great when half the hours you pay for you can’t use. Queue up to drop off behind children coughing and spluttering knowing full well my child will catch that new bug in a couple of days. Really disappointing that they don’t seem to stop parents dropping off children that are ill.

Joel Beeden: Our daughter has attended the Nursery since she was 9 months old. From being small to now as she approaches 3, the Team have always been extremely supportive. They have responded well to her allergy needs and the challenges of the pandemic, ensuring the setting continues to be a very safe place for all. Learning journals are clear for parents and a pleasure to read. Patent voice is always considered when considering the child’s progress and development. Our daughter loves attending here.

Emily Higginbottom: Both my children have attended Bizzy Bees nursery. The eldest has now left but my youngest (1) still attends. All the staff at the nursery are lovely and always try to accommodate around your working needs if they can. My eldest is always asking to go Back!

Christine Fisher: My little girl has been to Bizzy Bees for 4 years and loved every minute!! The carers are so loving towards the children and genuinely show they care for your little one, putting any parents mind at rest! Lisa, the manager is really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Bizzy Bees to anyone!!!

Jessica Power: My daughter has been going to Bizzy Bees Beighton Nursery since she was 1 year old and she loves going. Took her a while to settle in as she was a lockdown baby but she loves the staff and playing outside. All the staff are very helpful and give any and all information I ask for.

Lucy Heath: We think once upon a time is great. Our son really enjoys himself every time he goes and looks forward to going. He settled in quickly as the staff got to know him and his interests. The friendly staff always keep the children well stimulated with a variety of activities. Our son loves the soft play area they have. They also have a good sized garden to play in. They keep you updated through an app so you can see what snacks,lunch how long they have slept for and how many nappy changes they have. The food is all freshly prepared on site and sounds delicious. The staff are really helpful and friendly, we would definitely recommend this nursery.
Dan Smith: We started looking at nurseries when my daughter was a month old, we looked a 5 and weren’t really happy, then a friend recommended Once Upon A Time Daycare and we were blown away on our visit and registered the same day. Our daughter is now 2 and a half and we couldn’t be happier with our decision the nursery and all the staff are fantastic and our daughter absolutely loves going and doesn’t want to leave! There are always loads of activities and the communication through the app really gives peace of mind. Our son will be starting at once upon a time in September too.
Georgie Dooley: Paid a £300 registration fee in May was given no confirmation of receipt of this money or contract. I then heard on the grapevine that they charge £10 for every 10 minutes you are late or early either dropping off OR picking up. After discussing with friends this rang alarm bells. I contacted the nursery and spoke with the manager Samijo who wasn’t friendly at all to put it kindly. I had visited the nursery twice before paying the (what I now know to be) extortionate registration fee and was NEVER told about this very important and costly policy. The late fee itself is not an issue but the cost is very expensive. My son was not due to start until January 2023 so I kindly asked to be refunded to which I was told they would retain an £100 admin fee. No admin has even taken place as I had received no paperwork at all not even receipt of the registration fee being paid. When I questioned this I was just simply told it was their policy. I then sent my details to be refunded part of my money to which I received no reply. I then a few days later called to chase and was unable to speak to the manager so I was promised a call back. No call back happened, a week then passed and I emailed again and still no money or contact from anyone. £200 has now been refunded but still refusing to refund a very expensive £100 admin fee despite no admin been completed. Avoid!
Donna Hattersley: We used this nursery for a short while last year, I wasn’t impressed. We choose this nursery based on the impressive indoor facilities, in particular the soft play style area. I don’t think my daughter was able to use this once in 6 months, we was informed it is saved for special occasions. Perhaps the truth is, it is saved for paid parties! Our daughter was allocated a key worker whom we saw very rarely, it always seemed to be different young females at every handover which made it hard for my daughter to settle in. There was often incorrect information passed on, that our daughter had been able to identify colours which she is still unable to do now 6 months later. The electronic communication was useful but unfortunately the activities set up for the day looked like they had be thrown together by a toddler, honestly I don’t think they provide much stimulation. The dolls look scabby some of the toys in general look like they need a good clean and the very small outdoor Astro turf play pen looks frankly quite sad. The general ethos to this place is money and business, god help you if you make a late payment, you are charged for that and then daily. I appreciate this is a business but this is also a child care setting looking after babies to toddlers I think a gentle reminder may be less of a clinical approach. We found a much better nursery, my personal opinion - don’t be fooled by this nursery it’s nothing but a money making business lacking in genuine care. I would not recommend this nursery.
Amy Worthington: Both of my girls have attended twice weekly for the past 12 months. Nothing but positive abs happy feedback. All staff have been loving a kind. They are very creative with daily activities. We get lots of arts that the girls bring home. Very high standard of care
Robert Searle Foster: Our twins have been going to OUAT a couple of days a week since they were 12 months old & seem to absolutely loving the place. They get a range of activities every day, including soft play, & there seems to be an emphasis on being outside when weather allows which is nice to hear. The nursery staff are excellent & really care for the kids, going over & above to help with one of ours that requires additional care. We have also seen them develop skills (e.g. using cutlery) much more quickly since going to nursery. Communications from nursery are generally decent, with updates during the day via app.
