Marmar: Well said by other reviewers, the breakfast large sandwich was nothing but tiny tortilla wrap filled with two pieces of bacon and a cheap sausage cut in half and nothing more! They don’t wear gloves and they don’t cover their hair! Whoever gets the money goes back to the kitchen and works with same hands without washing them! Since having that wrap , I am sitting next to the toilet and have not been able to go to work!!! Plus there is nothing environmentally friendly being used here! They are still using poly cups and trays!

Nearly £5 for cheap sausages on stale bread. Won’t be going back. Shocking that people use this ‘cafe’.

Claire Thompson: Took ages for them to cook. A hot dog. Because they where on there phones all the time. And I ask for a small hot dog not a big hot dog full of grease with soaky wet bread and she also had a attitude probley and was a bit nasty because i wasn't a guy with builders boots or a fake tart like her there suppose to cook for everyone not just well men. Chris Bonsall: Went here for the first time after we’d heard good things. The chicken burgers and doughnuts were quite nice. We especially liked the lattice fries. However, the service was incredibly poor. Very little communication from the staff, we were left to wait over 20 minutes for our order, and even then they had forgotten a few items
Rhoma Ash: A bit of a wait for food (around 25 minutes) but worth every second, especially at £2.99 a meal!* The vegan meatless burger is to die for, as are the criss-cross fries. A lovely donut selection too, they smell and taste divine. *They have an offer on currently, not sure on usual prices

Dr. Solomon Saawan Pudi: Food is very tasty. Meat is tender and dishes have subtle but great flavour. #RecommendedbySollyDj The menu is extensive and has a lot of dishes. I would recommend the zorbia and the Kabsa. The portions are huge. One portion could possibly be eaten by two or maybe three people. We spoke to the hosts and they have fused Yemeni techniques from Middle East through to Pakistan and India and Bangladesh to get the beautiful flavours that we experienced. Parking is not available on site so have to plan in advance.
Ali Awwad: The place is good in general. People are trying their best to give good service. Good is nice but not outstanding. I respect their ability to survive during this tough times. Hope you will get better as you have very authentic food

Grace Todd: Ordered some breakfast items and 2 sandwiches, 2 chicken bacon and avocado. The fillings of both sandwiches are extremely sparse with 2 lumps of avocado on each, with one having no bacon at all. Very disappointing to say they were nearly £4 each, do not recommend ordering sandwiches from here

Ended up with measly slice of smoked salmon, 3 slices of pickle and the tiniest amount of mayo. I had to get rid of half the bread so I could actually taste the filling. The only saving grace was the blondie I bought but definitely not worth £9.00 for that and the sandwich.

Response: Hi they came straight from the fridge but if they are in the thermo bags the drivers use then the cold drinks are going to warm up especially if they have multiple drops so apologies they werent ice cold but they where cold when they left us

Adele Coates: Panini took 45 minutes to arrive. I gave up in the end and left. The waitress was very polite, I felt sorry for her because she looked quite stressed. She did apologise. The guy making food seemed more interested in serving people for takeaway than me who had been sat there for 45 minutes. He even joked with someone about having 'magic fingers' ...slow fingers more like!! He never even apologised when I left. Only 2 other tables occupied so no excuse for taking that long to make a panini. Sorry but I'll never go back there.

We went in for take out, my boyfriend had decided he wanted mac and cheese but unfortunately they didn’t have enough for a normal portion to have as a meal - so he decided on chicken strips. When we got home with our food, they had made him a small side of mac and cheese with whatever they had left!! I just thought it was so sweet that they had gone out of their way to give us a little extra! Chicken was absolutely gorgeous and the fries were so good, will definitely be eating here again!

Di Di: PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD MENU! Before I would have recommended this place 100% specially for their chicken and waffles (which was amazing), but unfortunately they do not include this meal anymore in their new menu. I ordered their chicken burger with fries which I found was too salty and the fries were too greasy. This place used to have a very unique and tasty menu and now it's just mediocre fried chicken restaurant.

Becky B: I witnessed your employee being extremely rude and possibly racially discriminatory against another worker. I am appalled that your ethnic minority employees are facing this treatment from their own coworkers.On Sunday 30th April at around 15:00 I was sat at the bottom floor. Two workers went from table to table requesting a survey was filled out.One worker was extremely rude, I didn’t get her name. This worker introduced us to a new employee who was Asian. She stated "I can’t pronounce her name, so I just call her ….” This is very rude and shows that you don’t care enough about your new employees to even learn their name.The worker continued to interrupt the Asian employee as she tried to follow her orders. She continually belittled and insulted the worker. She scolded her for having messy handwriting (her handwriting was perfectly readable), accused her of breaking her pen, and made everyone present extremely uncomfortable.You need to ensure your employees are sympathetic and respectful towards people whose English is not their first language. I feel disgusted that I witnessed this and I hope action is taken to ensure the wellbeing of your employees facing discrimination. Please educate the worker that the way she spoke was unacceptable.

Daniel Mortensen: I love the food here. Some people have questioned the "authenticity" of this place. This may not be the spitting image of food you'd find on the streets of Mexico but authenticity is overrated. The food is delicious. The meats are lovely and contain deep flavours. The salsas are great. They have Mexican sodas (Jarritos). I get the nachos as I eat a gluten free diet. I'd love it if they had corn tortillas for their tacos. You should eat here.
Dan Pop-o-matic: Tried to get lunch here. Three members of staff (two of whom were behind the counter) didn't even deign to look at me let alone serve me. They've lost a customer.

This place does it like no where else can within Ecclesall (no joke!).Also tried their full breakfast at a good price. They also sell coffee, teas, pop, and a good selection of other items.It's also dog friendly!!.Hope this place does well and I will continue to support their business.Would def. recommend!
Anne Brown: Asked the cafe at short notice if they could provide a post funeral buffet for 20 people. Amanda was fantastic and really helpful. The buffet was delivered exactly on time and was very good with the highlights being the fabulous cakes and fresh fruit platters. Would definately recommend this lovely family run cafe.
