Hotpod Yoga Sheffield: what do users think?

cheryl Fairhurst: I was a little apprehensive as I’d never done yoga before. I was instantly put at ease as I entered. Assured I can go at my own pace and shown around so I knew where everything was. The staff were lovely. The facilities were everything you’d need. Just take a towel and a water bottle. Fantastic first experience. The pod itself is such a great experience, so warm, clean and inviting. The session is soothing and good for the senses as the light is subdued, the pod is really warm and so relaxing. Definitely worth a try. Good for the soul. Would recommend.

brian hughes: As a newbie to yoga, I am so pleased to have found Hotpod Yoga. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. They help and support you through all stages. It is so relaxing and calming, and I look forward to every session. The temperature (it does what it says on the tin!) helps so much too Totally hooked by the team, and would highly recommend.

Hannah McAllen: An amazing place for Mind, Body and Soul. Totally relaxing atmosphere, and guidance through the practice at your own level . Suits all levels. I’m new to Yoga but have enjoyed it so much and am really looking forward to improving my own practice. You walk out the doors feeling so Calm. Excellent teachers and a great environment in the pod with the lighting, aromas and heat 10/10 from me. My daughter also comes with me and it is definitely helping her to be mindful and calm in the run up to her exams 💕💕💕

Michelle Shaw: Loving the hotpod in Sheffield. Fab space to relax and unwind, whilst building core stretch and toning up too! Friendly and approachable teachers lead the practice. Once you try it you’ll be hooked. 😉

Alice H: Tried it out on a whim as its so close to me, and now I’m absolutely hooked. Such a lovely atmosphere to unwind after a long stressful day, and have felt my strength improve more in 2 months than in years of going to the gym. Really friendly and supportive teachers, all with different styles of teaching. Way cheaper than most hot yoga memberships and worth every penny!

Emily Robinson: Just amazing classes! I love going! The people are so welcoming and classes are incredible✨ I travel an hour every time for the classes because they’re just so good! everyone needs to go 🏼

jemima Rich: It was very welcoming, calming and friendly environment providing such beneficial class! Sian was lovely and made the class even better.

Sarah Cumberlidge: Fantastic class. Unique experience in the pod. Combination of sound and lighting creates a fantastic atmosphere.
Michael Wright: A great yoga studio with teachers that help you have a great session!
Lily Wright: Sian was amazing, so friendly and welcoming and the class itself was very relaxing!
Daniel Wilson: I love coming to HotpodYoga when I need that extra stretch my usual yoga class doesn’t give me. I recently attended a special fire and ice workshop which was amazing! I can’t recommend HPY Sheffield enough and their friendly yogi’s
Emily Robinson: Just amazing classes! I love going! The people are so welcoming and classes are incredible✨ I travel an hour every time for the classes because they’re just so good! everyone needs to go 🏼
Tasneem Alnaser: Good instructions to follow the movements.. relax environment.. welcoming staff

Cecilie Butler: Never been before. Never done Yoga before. Went for a morning session on my day off. Best decision ever. It was easy to find, teacher was really welcoming, facilities are good, whole experience was so calming and refreshing- I can't recommend it enough. Definitely going again
brad jones: Did my first class here yesterday, never done hot yoga in a pod before really good really enjoyed it
Alice H: Tried it out on a whim as its so close to me, and now I’m absolutely hooked.Such a lovely atmosphere to unwind after a long stressful day, and have felt my strength improve more in 2 months than in years of going to the gym.Really friendly and supportive teachers, all with different styles of teaching. Josh Caudwell: Really wonderful space to do yoga in. I’ve been to many yoga studios and I particularly like the pod environment in this one. And the music really adds to the experience 😄
Jemima Vibert: I’ve done a few classes with Hotpod Sheffield since they opened and they have a really welcoming and friendly approach. The pod is calming and the yoga is great for any level.
Katie Barber: I've been going to HotPod for a few weeks since it opened and I'm stunned. I feel amazing after I go.I love the atmosphere, it feels like you're almost not even on this planet, like you're nestled in a giant spaceship womb. The heat allows you to stretch deeper. Let's face it - cold church halls are not the best for yoga and usually hot yoga is ridiculously expensive - not so at HotPod.The classes are challenging but the teachers always provide alternative poses and make it clear that you can take breaks whenever you need to, this makes me feel like I can really focus on the spiritual practice of yoga rather than watching what other people are doing and trying to get my poses right. It's perfectly located if you work or live in town. I do neither but my spa is round the corner so it's great to go to hot yoga before swimming 🏊‍♂️If you're worried about the heat: it's not as intense as you'd expect. I've found that an hour of heat in the darkness is far easier to tolerate than a whole day in the sun - a totally different experience. You'll get sweaty if you do a flow class, so bring a towel and a large water bottle (maybe with a pinch of himalayan salt in it). I know from being a regular sauna user that your body builds up a tolerance to these things and once that happens the difference in your body is amazing - for example it's far easier to exercise without getting too hot.I will definitely be a regular at HotPod 🧘‍♀️
Juliette Cousin: What an incredible place 😍 quickly became my fav. Never done hot yoga before but it literally changes your life. The place is amazing, the tent is an incredible space to be in, the teachers are all different but all kind and professional. I have the complete membership and don’t regret it, I spend all my time there. 💜💜
Liese Reynolds: Love love love that Sheffield has a HotPod Yoga. The teachers are brilliant, the space is lovely and the Pod is my heaven. This is a regular session in my workout week and I’m feeling the benefit already. 🧘🏼‍♀️
Abi Dakin: Fantastic, hot yoga in the heart of the city. The teachers are all skilful at building flow and providing simple instructions and stretching variations to deepen practise. Incredible, full body workout that also nurtures the mind. It is the best headspace you’ll ever experience.😍So grateful to have Hotpod yoga again!
Kate Harrison: Absolutely fantastic! So relaxing, can do it all at your own level, no pressure, and feel like you’ve done a work out!

R1SE Yoga: what do users think?

marta crispo: I mainly go to R1SE Yoga for the areal classes which are always great fun. Plus I found a lot of benefits as sitting most of the day the class help me to keep my spine and neck healthy! Beckie is a great and fantastic teacher and always try to teach us new poses. The hot flow is also a very nice class, challenging but rewarding. The team is also always very kind and always try to accommodate your requests to ensure you can always benefit of the membership /classes booked.

milly: I went to my Hot Flow trial session at R1SE Brook Place today and loved it. The second I walked in I was welcomed by the staff and shown around the studio. The class was brilliant and Beckie explained the flow so clearly (even if you get confused, there’s a large projection of her in the side wall so you don’t have to keep looking up). The class ended with a cold towel and we were offered complimentary tea. Such a great studio and I can’t wait to go back - highly recommend :)

Danni Rideout: I love this studio! I’ve been coming for around 18 months and haven’t wanted to be without a membership! The team are so flexible, understanding, and approachable; brilliant instructors leading dynamic classes; and generally a lovely, positive place for yoga practice.

Laura A Fitzgerald: Lovely yoga studio. Everyone was super friendly, and the instructor was very helpful with her tips for different poses. The best part was of course the cold lavender towel at the end!

Ruth Kirkup: Love my R1SE classes! Gorgeous studio, top notch facilities, lovely friendly staff. Even allowed to bring your dog in to the studio and wait while you do your class. Hands down my favourite place for Pilates and Hot Yoga in Sheffield.

Annelies Verroken: Love r1se yoga! There are so many different classes to choose from and each one of them challenges me in a different ways. The teacher are very lovely and helpful, definitely recommend checking it out!

paul campbell: Rise yoga for me it perfect as I gym twice a day most day cardio I’m a morning weight in the evening so rise hot yoga is fantastic at the end of my week sets me up for the week ahead all the classes are great and the place it self is unreal seriously it’s really is

Iris Read: Had a wonderful experience at R1SE yoga. Jen was welcoming and the class was a great introduction to Pilates. Thank you.
Aimee Leah: Lovely experience, particularly as a first-time goer. Calm, non-judgemental atmosphere that made me feel comfortable even if I couldn’t do a pose as well as everyone else. Sarah did a great job and I will definitely be back in the future!
anthony bradley: I have a bulging disk, after speaking with one of the teachers about possible classes they invited to a free pilates class, it was a good introduction and well planned and the teachers try to look out for your individual needs. Id recommend for anyone looking for a yoga/pilayes class in sheffield
Kim Roll Baldwin: The class was good but felt the studio space was to small and crammed with people. Couldn’t fully stretch out and always kicking the wall in three legged dog
Be Osome: Beautiful yoga studio, wonderful atmosphere and amazing aerial yoga class ✨! Thank you!
Lauren Arbuary: Did a beginners Aerial Yoga course today and loved it. Jenny was very knowledgeable and encouraging, I look forward to doing more classes here.

alison thornton: R1SE Yoga is the best studio I've been to! The staff and lovely and friendly and the studio itself is a really relaxing environment. They have special touches such as the cold flannel at the end which makes it feel even more enjoyable! Thank you :)
Lorraine Hill: Tried a free Sculpt class at this studio, really enjoyed the pace and the exercises, the instructor (Jess) is easy to see but there is also a large screen showing her from front and side which helped with following as a first timer. She also offered different alternatives for intermediate/ advanced
Dunja Mikic: Great first class, definitely coming back! 🤩
Jessica Mardell: A lovely welcoming space when I visited for the first time. Very relaxing and nice facilities and I enjoyed the free herbal tea after the class!
Faye Parkin: I first came across rise yoga when a friend offered me a weeks free pass a couple of months back. I have tried yoga years ago in the past and found it extremely difficult to focus and follow the movements and breathing patterns. I felt agitated and restless and didn’t enjoy the experience so therefore thought it wasn’t for me as I have always done high pace exercise such as cardio, weights and high adrenaline activities.I then got diagnosed with ADHD 18 months ago and was told yoga, Pilates and meditation would be beneficial for my mental and physical health and calm down my mind. With this in mind I took my friend up on the offer to try a class at rise and have not looked back and now signed up for the unlimited deal at £99 per month.Expensive yes, is it worth it to me, hell yes is the answer. I see myself as physically fit but have never trained my body and mind in this way before and never have I felt so in touch with my body. My mind feels so much calmer. I usually am an extremely competitive person who likes to be great at everything I try and can put a lot of pressure on myself, but with rise yoga I am learning from scratch and enjoying the journey I am on without that pressure of nailing it after a week.I walk out of each class feeling peace and contentment. Rise yoga has helped with anxiety, restlessness, panic attacks, depression, focus, shoulder pain and posture. I walk out confident and calm. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough and I cannot ever imagine not having this in my life from now onwards. The positive impact it has had on my life is immeasurable. The instructors are amazing, friendly and great with advice with no pressure with what level you are at. I can’t thank you all enough and so happy to now have this in my life.
Rebecca Newbitt: Great modern space, calm and relaxing environment. I really enjoyed the yoga and it was a nice touch being able to help yourself to tea!
Nimah Salam: Went to the hot flex class Saturday morning, amazing way to start the day and feel strong! Sarah was a great teacher too, felt very comfortable while being challenged:)
Priya Patel: Great Yoga Bliss class - very relaxing and enjoyable!
Jess McDonnell: What an amazing class!highly recommend

Moazma Ashraf: Friendly instructor and staff, clean place and calm vibe. The place has it all.
Xiaoyi Jin: Great atmosphere and towel at last but some places do not have a clear view about the teacher
Jennifer Southern: Second visit. Totally excellent. Great instructors, both relaxing and a proper work out. Suitable for all levels. Always welcoming. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
Hannah Mitchell: Lovely relaxing class in a well-equipped modern studio, thank you!
Alison O'Donnell: Had a free introductory pass and chose the chilled out hot yoga evening class. Staff were really friendly. Overall-Nice place, good class, not overcrowded. Will be booking some more classes :)

R1SE Yoga: what do users think?

Rachael Lowther: I joined R1SE in October last year and have loved it ever since. I’m not someone that had done much yoga previously but I wanted to try something new. I started with a trial which was 4 classes over 2 weeks, it was addictive! I signed up with R1SE for a monthly membership straight away. There’s something special about R1SE that keeps you coming back for more. There’s a variety of different classes to choose from to suit everyone. My favourite class is Flow, just the right balance between challenging and relaxing. Doing a class in their hot studios is a great calorie burner and relieves your body of stress and toxins. I always feel so refreshed after a session and if I could come every day I would! The team and instructors are so friendly and passionate. They all go above and beyond; you notice the personal touches like hot towels and complimentary tea that set aside this place from the rest. If you’re reading this review deciding whether to try out R1SE please go for it, you won’t regret it! ⭐️🧘🏻‍♀️❤️

Sheffield Yoga Centre: what do users think?
Jayden Whyatt: Great place to go.
Libby HD: Great place. Very experienced teachers.Covid safety procedures in place.Look forward to going every week !
AAMENA GORJI: Just incredible. I never thought I would go back after my five week beginners class but, I have enjoyed it so thoroughly I can't imagine not! Friendly, professional and clearly experts! A special mention to Liz who has been so welcoming and kind and truly made the experience more enjoyable. Looking forward to more classes and learning more at Iyengar Yoga.
Betty-Ann Hutchin: The Gong Bath with Sara was such a great experience! Looking forward to the Sound bath on 21st Nov.
Judith Birkett: I have been a student at Sheffield Yoga Centre for more than 10 years. There is a great selection of classes for all abilities. I started as a mature beginner and have attended various classes which have all been excellent. I have found the teaching to be highly skilled and very supportive. The centre is well equipped and provides a lovely environment for yoga practice. Iyengar yoga helped me manage my osteoarthritis and the centre's excellent therapeutic class was key to my fantastic recovery from knee surgery.
Toni Frascina: I’ve never been sporty and I find most forms of exercise quite boring. But Sheffield Iyengar Yoga Centre teachers put together interesting and varied classes which can be challenging, but never feel like a slog. Sometimes I don’t feel like going – too tired, fed up, a bit achy etc. etc. but I always make myself go because I know I will come out of the class feeling energised and with a lighter mood. The longer term physical benefits for me include less stiffness, better balance and increased muscle strength. Whatever your level of fitness, body shape or age, this place provides the support and expert guidance to explore what Iyengar Yoga can do for you.
Adele Khan: I've been attending classes here on and off for quite a few years now and I wouldn't dream of looking at courses elsewhere. The space and quality of teaching is extremely good. Care is taken over the tuition on every pose and personalised to your ability and any injury you may have. I'm currently attending classes in beginners stage 2 with Emma Norminton who I highly recommend.
Lynda Watson: Been going to classes for two years. Am older person and worried if I would manage. The teachers are great ensuring everything fully explained and poses modelled. It is so inclusive, props used to enable everyone to participate. I always feel so much better after class. Thankyou.
john ross: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismThis is a lovely centre to practise yoga. Clean, quiet and lots of equipment. The teachers are very experienced and give careful and considered instruction always attentive to individual needs. I have been going here for years, I wouldn't go anywhere else for yoga classes.
Arianna Giovannini: I have been taking classes at the centre for 5 years and I absolutely love it! The quality of teaching is of very high standard, and teachers are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and understanding. There are classes for all levels and the approach to yoga used at the centre is suitable for everyone, irrespective of age or level of fitness. Last but not least, the centre itself is a peaceful place, with the most relaxed and positive atmosphere. I would highly recommend Sheffield Yoga Centre, without hesitation!
杨怡: Positive:ProfessionalismJoined this centre since 2019. There are also classmates who’ve been here for longer years. Teachers are very professional.
Karen Mee Ross: Lovely centre, very tranquil, clean and spacious. The teaching is excellent with lots of one to one guidance and help.
Sally McCormick: I have learnt so much over the years from the wonderful tutors of Iyengar yoga at the Sheffield centre. Whether in a live class, or remotely within a 'virtual' classroom, I have enjoyed the benefits of the care and guidance on offer to all students, of whatever level or experience. The facilites at the centre are excellent and the equipment is maintained to the highest standards of hygiene. Thank you Sheffield Iyengar Yoga Centre for your inspiring work.
Alejandra Espejo Arteaga: Positive:Professionalism,QualityThis centre is excellent, I have been going on and off since before it became the Sheffield Yoga Centre over 20 years ago. All the teachers are trained to a very high standard and can support you to achieve what you can no matter what ability or mobility issues you have.
Jenny Biltcliffe: This is a wonderful yoga centre with highly skilled and empathetic teachers. I have been attending a women’s intermediate class taught by Frances for many many years and love it. The Centre is light and airy and just being in this space makes me feel calm. Frances is extremely knowledgeable and excellent at giving helpful individual feedback to everyone in the class. She is able to offer adaptations to the poses to help with particular ailments or injuries. I wholeheartedly recommend the Sheffield Yoga Centre to beginners and the more experienced practitioner alike.
John Wright: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI have going to the centre for a few years now and it has always been caring and patient teaching of Yoga, both the physical and the mental benefits
Rachel Henthorn: I've been attending classes here since it first opened. Iyengar yoga has helped me with my aches and pains as well as a more steady mind. I would highly recommend yoga classes here. Clare Keen: Great teaching. I love the attention to detail and to individuals' needs. There is something for everyone here!
Lisa halse: Great spacious venue with excellent and experienced teachers. So much better to be here than cramped at home plus you can use the superb equipment.
Deborah Hoult: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI've been attending Sheffield Yoga Centre weekly for over a year, first attending their new starter class. I have always found the classes very informative and a friendly place to learn. Highly recommended
Rebekka Campbell: I attend weekly classes at Sheffield Yoga Centre and have been coming to workshops here for five years. It's a haven of calm as well as being fully-equipped, and the quality of teaching and events on offer is excellent. During the pandemic the centre switched to online teaching so that classes could continue through lockdown, and blended classes are now available, offering great flexibility. Classes at different levels allow you to progress, developing your practice of physical postures (Asana) as well as breath work (Pranayama), chanting and philosophical study. Highly recommended!

Sheffield Yoga School: what do users think?
Deborah Jefferson: I have been attending Hannah and Chris' classes for more years than I care to remember and I highly recommend the Sheffield Yoga School. Their classes go way beyond an exercise routine and teach the full richness of yoga for mind, body and soul. Hannah and Chris are such thoughtful and experienced teachers whose deep understanding of the true principles of yoga and their genuine care for their students shines through every lesson.
Natalie Hunt (Madame Zucchini): Hannah & Chris are very skilled yoga teachers, I've been attending for many years now. The classes are presented in a warm, very human way, offering lots of tools to help deal with the stresses of life & adaptions for all levels. Highly recommended.
Jo S: I have attended classes run by Chris & Hannah for about 7 or 8 years & always enjoyed them and found them beneficial. During the pandemic they have done their best to make sure we all could still take part in classes on Zoom or from the online library, ensuring we have still managed to benefit mentally & physically during very difficult times. It has been very reassuring.Thank you to both of them. Iknow it hasn't been easy but Im sure weall appreciate it.
Helen King: This is the best place to do yoga, whether in a weekly live class, doing a live on-line class or a session from their extensive online library. Hannah and Chris offer a "top to toe" experience, ensuring that both body and mind are exercised, strengthened and relaxed. Classes are varied, friendly and purposeful.I would recommend this approach to yoga to all ages and abilities - your needs will be understood and catered for. Many thanks to Hannah and Chris for taking up the challenge of continuing classes throughout Covid restrictions, and adapting teaching to suit us all.
Flora Jeferzade: Chris and Hannah run the best yoga classes - holistic, inclusive, easy to follow, yet challenging. The choice between online, library and in-person really works. They both have real skill in making yoga accessible.
SandrA a: Amazing place, high quality and great value teaching. Highly recommend them - Chris and Hannah are wonderful at what they do, making yoga and meditation accessible to all.
Sarah W Armour: Sheffield Yoga School teach yoga that is the essential core of Yoga, it's tailored to every level and is inclusive and is a great way to develop a practice that supports the physical, emotional and spiritual spheres of life. Rebecca Notte: Sheffield Yoga School has genuinely been a big part of our lives for several years now. Chris & Hannah are wonderful teachers, welcoming & make you feel at ease no matter your experience or knowledge of yoga. Would recommend to anyone looking for some respite & rebalancing from busy schedules!
John Evans: Hanna and Chris are so good at teaching and make the classes really enjoyable. Since Covid-19 issues have been in play I have participated in the live online classes, these are excellent and you feel almost in the room like a live class. Yoga has brought so much to my life over the last 18 months or so and I give so much thanks to Chris and Hanna. I would strongly recommend Sheffield Yoga Centre to anyone thinking of taking up Yoga.
Heather Greaves: I started doing classes with Sheffield Yoga School in October. The tuition is first class and the costs are very reasonable. I wish I had joined years ago!
Theran Sargeant: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismExcellent yoga school, accommodates all abilities, friendly, great communication
Shaun Howe: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityChris and Hannah provide 1st class yoga teaching. I've been attending weekly classes, yoga days and weekend retreats with them for over 20 years. They are both great teachers with a broad depth of knowledge and experience. I highly recommend them from beginners to experienced students.
Marco Haring: I highly recommend Sheffield Yoga School to anybody already on their yogic evolution and to those still thinking about starting. The instructors are highly knowledgeable which reflects in the fact that classes are a lot more than just physical fitness lessons. The lessons knit the physical, cognitive, and emotional aspects of yoga together into a well-being — but no less physically challenging — experience. The regular classes can be augmented with additional high quality workshops and courses with some of the best yoga teachers in the UK. For anyone thinking about joining this yoga school… my advice is to give it a try.
Lisa Dukes: Excellent quality , communication and deep understanding of Holistic Yoga. I've never actually attended the Sheffield Yoga Studio in person but have been part of the on- line community for more than two years. I regularly access the wide range of Yoga classes both live and recorded . I have also signed up to On -line events such as Chris' excellent , regular 5 week early morning mediation series.I can fully recommend Sheffield Yoga School if you're wanting to experience authentic classes from knowledgeable, experienced deeply authentic teachers .
Sue Taylor: I've been attending online classes since the beginning of the pandemic. The pace is just right and both Hannah and Chris are excellent instructors. I'm not particularly fit or agile but there are always easier options to the more challenging positions. The online library is great too - lots of different practices to try out. I come away from each class feeling much more relaxed and at peace with the world and myself
Andrea Cámara: I have had the pleasure of enjoying an online yoga practice from Chris, from Sheffield Yoga School. I absolutely loved the pace, style and selection of asanas. It had a very positive impact on me and it helped me reduce the amount of stress I was experiencing and to focus and be present.I loved the mudra he taught us! Thank you!
RĀMA Andrew Fisher: A centrally located welcome oasis within the UK with its main emphasis on Yoga and its related teachings. If you want a warm welcome, have a chance to make new friends and learn something which with practice will bring more positivity into your life then look no further :)

Sun Moon Yoga: what do users think?
Lisa Heller: I really enjoy the classes. Eric gives clear instructions and explains what we are dong and why.Eric creates a safe and supportive atmosphere and the class is fun.I sometimes feel I could go a little faster - for example we have been doing downward dog for years, so I would like just the basic instructions so that we moved on rather than the detailed description every time.I would like to do more strengthening poses too. However - I find that the content of the class is good for me and I always feel better for having done it.Thanks Eric.
Jane French: Eric is a master.I have returned to his classes after a long break and already feeling the benefit of the regular gentle practice . . particularly the breath work and increasing awareness.

He is clear, approachable and we all love him!
Peter Race: Eric is an experienced and knowledgeable yoga teacher whose classes are always well planned with a clear focus gradually building up to give class participants a better understanding of how bodies work. He generously shares his skills and kindly gives advice when asked and makes sure everyone is safe in class. In short, I cannot recommend Eric highly enough. Thank you Eric I have learnt so much from you.

Yoga at the Reach: what do users think?
Laura Lindahl: A real range of classes and teachers. Such a special, warm environment, small class sizes and all the teachers make an effort to know your name. I love it!
Jess M: Attended a retreat with ashtanga and restorative yoga classes, really well taught, I learnt a lot and it has really helped improve my technique in poses
Rebecca Joselyn: I met Nicola around 8 years ago she’s always been a fantastic teacher, she prepared me for my training in India. After a 6 year break from my practice I’m now back and wondering why I ever left. I can highly recommend ‘Yoga at the Reach’. Nicola’s extensive knowledge of Ashtanga Yoga is first class.
Emily Hounslow: If I could give more than 5 stars I would :)Nicola is far and away the best yoga teacher I've ever found, it's a pleasure to learn from her. She is friendly, knowledgeable and knows exactly how to help each student, and will make you feel part of the little community there, as she really cares about her students. The studio is also a great space, really relaxing with plenty of space to move in. As well as yoga, the studio has workshops, retreats and gong bath sessions, so you get the chance to experience and build on more than the basic yoga practice. As I do ashtanga as my preferred yoga practice, I'm so glad to have found a place that provides the type of classes that suit me best.
Paul Evans: I have had the pleasure of practicing at the Reach in 2022.It is a friendly studio and the support and mentoring provided by Nicola is second to none. I particularly enjoy the Ashtanga classes and especially the Mysore classes.I look forward to being back in 2023.
Lucy Critchlow: I've loved going to Nicola's postnatal yoga classes at the Reach, for my first child 5 years ago and again now!The post natal level one was very nurturing and gentle, perfect for the first stages of recovery after birth. Then I enjoyed level two core revitalisation which focuses on recovering the core.I've now also done two rounds of mamas and babas back to yoga. This works out the whole body and is also great for aches and pains relating to bringing up babies! The babies have had a great time socialising with each other during yoga and are mesmerised by nicola too. It's an all round winner! It's also been so nice to meet other mums and we've made some fabulous friends from going to these lessons.Thank you Nicola! X
Sarah K: I’ve been attending pregnancy yoga and highly recommend. The gentle physical side of the class has helped with my pregnancy aches and pains. The other side has been meeting a group of women in the same position and having that support that makes you feel less alone at a time when things are changing and can few very weird and lonely. Nicola is kind, patient and knowledgeable
Kerry Mellor: A lovely inviting, well equipped studio. The classes are well led with excellent quality teaching. The restorative and yin classes a real treat🙂
Louise Rach: Sheffield Knackered Mums ClubFeel utterly relaxed and revived after attending the knackered mums club. It was such a lovely experience, very friendly leaders who made me feel comfortable. It was a really nice mix of different practices and the reiki was a great addition. I would thoroughly recommended to any mum. Thank you.
Valentin Donev: Absolutely recommend, Nicola and Richard are excellent. Friendly classes and calming atmosphere. Fantastic for beginners and advanced.
Sophia Kingan: I have done ashtanga yoga with Nicola for years and always enjoyed it and have seen myself develop and progress with her input. More recently my husband and I did a birth rehearsal class at her lovely studio (which felt very safe and clean during this covid situation) and was enjoyable, informative, relaxing and left me and my husband feeling prepared for the birth of our baby coming up. Thanks Nicola!
Jonathan Sanderson: Brilliant Ashtanga classes. Nicola is incredibly knowledgeable! I've attended both hers and Jo's classes and both are challenging and rewarding. :)
James Hayes: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI've been a student of Nicola's for 2 years now and absolutely love her approach and her classes. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in yoga whether just starting out or experienced.
lisa watson: I discovered Yoga at the Reach after searching for a pregnancy yoga class, I've since had two babies, completed pre/postnatal/baby massage and now continue with Nicolas Ashtanga yoga classes twice a week. I love Nicolas attention to detail and thorough instruction throughout the class. It's also a great workout for mind and body.
Joanne Gillan: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAbsolutely incredible Yoga studio with dedicated and knowledgeable teachers. Ashtanga classes with Nichola are the best I've ever come across. Love this studio.
MOGA Method of Yoga for All: Nicola is a truly excellent yoga teacher and very warming person. This studio has several styles and any one looking to get into yoga or develop will benefit from exploring yoga with Nicola and her colleagues.
Angelina Perrett: Really supportive space to learn and extend your yoga practice . Discovered my love of ashtanga by going to the beginners class. Over the years I have gone to a variety of classes and learnt how my body can extend itself. Each class is designed to cater for individual variation in experience and skill - so each class can be adapted to cater for your current skills.I am a yogi that doesn’t take myself too seriously and yoga at the reach has helped me maintain my sense of humour about myself as well as helping me reach the next level of experience I needed.
Nazmy Villarroel: Beautiful shala with wonderful professionals. What a blessing to have found this yoga community in Sheffield.
