Rotherham General Hospital: what do users think?
L A: Received a call from hospital and they said they booked me an appointment. Unfortunately they didn’t send a letter but it’s not the first time .. so went to the hospital on the date and time they told me but what a surprise, there is no appointment for me! It’s just disgusting.. they can’t find in the system nothing! now I need to call and sort things myself! I felt like it’s my fault after talking with a member of staff! They don’t know who called me… then who knows!? Do I need to check after a call from Hospital if they really booked me an appointment? System is broken 😡
Anthony Sumner: I checked into A&E last night about 23:15 and after waiting to see the "Triage Nurse" in the Assessment Room 1 which located next to the reception desk, I noticed that there blood splatters on the floor as well as contamination bin. I reported this to another 2 nurses who worked in the clinician room opposite and 4 hours late the blood is still there and you may ask how I know this well when the door is opened it was still clearly visible. How professional is this hospital..?
Matt Marchant: Admitted 20.6.23 with an infected dog bite from work. Although i waited for 5 hours in a&e and wasn't particularly impressed with rotherham hospital by then. I have nothing but admiration for the whole team on the asu day and night staff. That is from top to bottom and I'm not being disparaging in any way here. Extremely professional and caring staff and can't thank them enough.
Random Dan Uk: My girlfriends waters broke at 36 weeks and 6 days so we went to the hospital, my partner was treated with kindness and respect throughout and kept in the loop about everything, I even got to be present for the c-section. The surgery went brilliantly and the surgeon and all his team did an excellent job and the aftercare on the ward for my girlfriend and daughter was brilliant from what I saw and my girlfriend told me about. Brilliant service, so much better than Sheffield! I’ll ask my girlfriend to consider making a review herself.
Negoita Petrica: Fantastic experience whith all the staff, very professional!
Sally Taylor: As a trade unionist and life long supporter of the NHS it pains me to say RDGH and especially the AMU ward, A and E ward and A 1 and 2 are well below par and should be closed now. 1 star is too much
Tracey Gladwin: i dont usally write reviews but feel i have to to thank all the staff on A1 for the care of my husband what a lovely ward and staff or brilliant can't help you enough ..so THANK YOU A1
Cecil da Silva: It's not a tourist place nor is it a picnic spot
Alan Smith: It is impossible to review this Hospital accurately as it a tale of two extremes. The consultant Gastroenterologist is amazing whilst the specialist liver nurse I would not let treat my pets, and I don’t have any.The nurse was polite but had no insight whatsoever into how her behaviour and comments impact on patients, or more worryingly did not perhaps care as she plowed on with her agenda of scaring, or in my case scarring, them into changing their life style. On the other hand the Senior nurse I spoke to did appear to understand what it is like to be a patient receiving worrying news.So 2 out of three were kind and understanding whilst the liver nurse, may I suggest a change of career, perhaps mortician, as this allows patient contact but what she says can’t harm them.
Lancelot Walker: I visited Dermatology last Thursday morning. I needed minor surgery to remove a lesion. I explained I was having knee surgery on 5th June so it would have to be after that. That same afternoon I received a call asking if I could go back that afternoon for the surgery as they had had a cancellation. The staff were absolutely amazing from the consultant to the nurses and all the other staff. I couldn't have asked for better treatment. A huge thank you to you all!
Nicola Barkworth: A&E staff brilliant, thanks to Taz (student) who was understanding and caring to my foster child :)CAU - we’re grateful to everyone but specifically Lucy, Val & Katie (day staff). All staff have been kind in really difficult circumstances, patient and nothing is too much trouble
juno lorin: i had surgery on my mouth to remove a tooth in the roof of my mouth under anaesthesia, It was my first time having surgery and as someone who struggles with anxiety ,before my procedure the nurses were so lovely and caring and making sure i was comfortable and okay. And they did a great job and i healed really nice and quickly. Amazing hospital!
Mark Fryer: Seen quickly for my appointment time lovely staff in x-ray dept
Elvina Poznanskyte: Perfect staff.
Richard Simpson: Well I'm still sat here ! 5 hours, been having chest pains, sharp pain in armpit and shortness of breath. Oh and fainted ! So went to doctors and was rushed to the waiting room at AnE ! With everyone else. I think if I was drunk I'd be classed as high priority 😅 it's disgusting in here, think of a KFC restaurant.
Scott Crew: Staff here are so caring
DAVID LYNAM: Top service today at a and e, normally a nightmare, but spot on today, vending machines don't work still, but a pleasant bloke came with tea, coffee and biscuits 👌
Alli Baird: Extremely disappointed, my partner attended A&E after a fall. Went through the usual triaging and eventually had an X-ray which revealed a broken bone in his wrist. Passed from one ‘coloured seat’ to another and was finally sent for a plaster cast. At no point was he offered pain relief or explained to what was happening eventually was seen by an elderly nurse who came across as being cold and matter of fact. Finally was informed needed to make an appointment in Fracture clinic no information given as to what to expect as I said earlier no pain relief offered and a sling that was totally of no benefit whatsoever. Very poor basic care, in our opinion a total disgrace.
Petter Guldner: It's a Hospital.... Nobody visits willingly.... I took a Service User... A little wait nothing undue.... There is a car park charge.... So if you're sick you pay for your prescription & you pay to visit the Hospital 🤷‍♂️
Matt Watkins: Currently looking after my baby boy Joshua very helpful and friendly staff the young man's in the best hands
Martino cisar: The most terrible hospital in the UK rude and disrespectful staff this hospital needs to get shut down

Weston Park Hospital: what do users think?
Julie G: Recently had radiotheapy on L9 the staff were really lovely & supportive would like to say thank you for you kindness & help with my journey xx June Gresham ♥️xxx
Sandra Kelly: I can’t fault this place. The people who work here are amazing.
Tzvetanka Motova: Appointments for outside patients extremely late!
Lesley Horsfall: Nurse specialists very approachable when needing advice during chemo journey. Amazing care and advice during my radiotherapy treatment. Everyone has been wonderful. Thank you all
Florance Rogers ASMR: Been seen in every department over the past 16 months. I’ve had chemotherapy twice, radiotherapy, a number of appointments and also been seen on the ward. All the staff on day case are lovely and friendly. Everyone every professional and caring. Always there to help and provide a much needed laugh or shoulder to cry on.Drs were all nice and very helpful during appointments. I visited the ward on a few occasions for a day each time and my issues were always resolved. The only thing I didn’t like personally was the amount of people in the rooms. I appreciate people are on placements and in training but there was no warning so many people would be in the room. At times I did feel vulnerable and like I was a piece of meat been stared at. It wasn’t nice after having surgery and already feeling very self conscious.Usually if any extra people were in a room I was asked first if it was ok or they introduced themselves to me. I feel this would have been a better approach.
Dawn: I've been a patient for over 30 years. Terminal diagnosis now, but the treatment I have had is fantastic.
Sophie Louise: Amazing hospital! The staff treated my grandad who had cancer 3 times and they were always so lovely, when he recently passed away we sent a donation to you guys! Just want to thank you for all the care provided
Clem Ho: Happy, cheerful, caring, professional staff on all levels. Medical staff on each shift to maintain a 24/7 presence show genuine friendly and heartfelt concern for the inpatients. Domestic staff are extremely friendly, helpful and always smiling. Public areas are frequently cleansed and sanitised. Ensuite bedrooms accommodate between one and three inpatients in each ward. These are carefully sanitised and serviced daily. Free good WiFi signal and free television access for each inpatient. Food is decent and edible. Visiting times are very liberal for inpatient visitors. Free car parking for patients (with permit).
Ken Trinder: Absolutely first class place, had 20 sessions of radiology treatment, very understanding, friendly and efficient staff, great car park, couldn’t wish for being looked after any better.
Jo Wood: Just finished 15 days of radiotherapy here and was looked after tremendously well by a fantastic team. Always smiling, always friendly and always professional.
Paul Paramore: Couldn't wish for a better experience the staff couldn't do anough for you no matter what you asked if they could do if they will everything is top marks
Brian Stuart: Very clean and well organised
Kelvin Hughes: I went here for chemotherapy - Dr was very patient and helpful. Some amazing skilled and dedicated nurses here.
Mandy Turner: After a week long stay in the hospital, the nurses ,doctors ,domestic staff ,were all luvly ,very caring and compassionate !
Dave Parkin: Really good hospital
Stephen Hall: Have looked after me during my cancer journey.Fantastic staff.Nothing too much trouble during pandemic. Will never forget the kindness shown by all.
Ian Collie: Excellent.treatment. Initially felt nervous but soon put at ease. Spoken to as a person not a condition and any problems dealt with. Thankyou
Greg Foley: I have just completed a 20;session programme of radiotherapy for prostate cancer which was delivered by the teams in LA8 And LA9. I wish to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to all the different radiographers who were involved in my treatment. Without exception they looked after me really well and made every effort to ensure that I remained calm and relaxed throughout a potentially traumatic and worrying time. My thanks and deepest gratitude to them all.
Visionary Blinds: Great installation today at Weston Park Hospital. Very clean and sterile environment.
Cozzie493: The staff at the hospital are really friendly, approachable and very professional. It was just a pity I couldn't see their faces. This was due to the pandemic. Nevertheless they are the NHS's angels. God bless them all.
Donna Ryan: Western Park recently looked after my mum, sadly she’s has passed away but the care and compassion showed by all who looked after her especially ward 2 were amazing and we can’t thank them enough

dave bull: My wife and I have both had appointments today - a skin biopsy at RHH for myself, and a colonoscopy at the NGH for my wife. We have both been treated with kindness, dignity and respect. There was no waiting or delays and we were both kept fully informed of what was happening throughout our procedures. We are so lucky to have this Trust looking after us in Sheffield. Huge shoutouts and thanks to the Dermatology Team and the NGH endoscopy team - you are all absolute stars.
Ian Thompson: I was on firth 8 ward recently and I had the best care I could have received I would like to thank Claire holly and silva and all the staff for there hard job they do , thank you so much I wish I could work with them all as it would be a great experience daily and they work so so hard , thank you so muchIan Thompson x
Christopher Tomlinson: Had a recent Colonoscopy and can't praise the staff from start to finish, exemplary treatment .Thank you to all the staff in endoscopy department
H__ K: Disgusting! Staff Laughing whilst turning off a 5year olds ventilator! Have some compassion! Poor child died and the staff are jokin at his bedside!
Aurica Mondiala: I’ve waited 2 months for a phone call and they still haven’t called me🤦🏼‍♀️
Maheen Kausar: Great hospital. Haemotolgy staff very friendly and helpful. Would definetly reccomend!
Paul Rushforth: Best hospital in South Yorkshire by far nurses carnt do enough for you the doctors care the food is good overall
Paul Smith: Had to contact the pacemaker department twice now and on both occasions felt as though I was being a nuisance. I felt very dismissed and unhappy with the attitude I encountered on the second phone call the ladies sigh was so loud my husband heard it sat next to me honestly not a good customer service attitude to have
Rinto Ouseph: All staff were very welcoming and friendly. Good service
Lee Machin: Just had the misfortune of having to contact their diabetic eye screening department. Probably the most unhelpful and disinterested person I have ever spoken to. Needs a refresher from top to bottom. Obviously doesn’t like her job so should move on (preferably not customer related) and save us all from her attitude. Better still have the booking service online
peter marples: I've been under them couple years now and they are a fantastic team to be proud of sorted my teeth and issues I've been having , the hygienists are fabulous at there jobs, may I take this chance to thank every one of you for all your help and advise for me keep on top of my ongoing issues x
Hervy Leluly: Amazing trust
jijo varghese: Good service
Peter Richardson: Just dropped off a relative at the drop of area At entrance 5 for surgery. Literally as soon as they crossed the road and I got on my phone to enter a destination on sat nav, as I’m not from the area, a man walked to my window knocking on it, telling me I had been there for 5 mins and had to move on. I tried to explain to him that I had just dropped someone off no more than seconds ago, and was looking at how to get out, but he wasn’t bothered and just walked away to another car while i was still trying to explain. On his way back I asked for his name, as I wasn’t happy with how rude he was to me, but he refused, and asked for my name, which was irrelevant. He didn’t have any ID on him or any sort of uniform which would indicate he worked for the trust. He then told me his name to which I won’t repeat on here, but if staff are as rude as he was at the entrance of the hospital it doesn’t leave a great impression for the trust.

simon staniland: The Stonegrove Centre, part of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield.A truly humbling experience, a place full of utterly lovely, dedicated human beings from reception through to nurses, doctors and trainee staff.I couldn't speak highly enough of our experience earlier this week. Thank you Lauren, Leanne, Dr Greg and everyone else at the centre who made us feel so very much at ease.
shazia mahmood: I was tested positive for Coronavirus. Wasn't well, I thought I had another stroke but the mri scan was clear. The nurses were so lovely and they put they lives to look after us. I have been to hospital 3 times in the past 5years because I had a stroke which they gave me 24hours to live but im here. Every single time I go I have nurses who look after me well. Well done 👏

Doncaster Royal Infirmary: what do users think?
Hamish Connor MacLeod: Dirty scruffy outdated relative had to stay overnight the room had faulty lights cracked sockets wobbly toilet seat , breakfast was cold toast with no butter & marmalade no hot drink whole hospital needs painted cleaned & upgraded as I understand a new one isn’t being built , the staff were nice and helpful but clearly understaffed & overworked & there is no actual proper car park just small ones scattered across the whole hospital site, the public toilets in waiting reception area are dirty , the list goes on
Koudia Khmiri: My girlfriend had 5 seizures in one night and the fifth one inside the hospital due to the delay and mistreatment for the patients. While waiting and observing the service and help at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, they’d see the person for a small wound over someone who is in extreme pain or real life threatening case. When you ask the staff for how long until you get seen, they’d talk to you loudly and in an impolite way which there is no purpose for that.I am originally from London and the way things are going at this hospital is very unprofessional and also I wouldn’t suggest this hospital if you are in need of a last minute appointment for a life threatening situation.
Robert corner: I am absolutely disappointed in this hospital I came in yesterday sorry I hopped in yesterday due to being unable to walk, they gave me an xray and the doctor told me it's not broken its either severely sprained or it's an hairline fraction, I am unable to walk and he gave me nothing for pain and nothing to aid me in walking I hopped out of the hospital to a bus stop and had to hop all way home my ankle is even more swallow now why do I pain national insurance.Spoke to 111 and they said I should of been given crutches.
Brian Hoy: I was admitted as a trauma patient to Doncaster RI, I was 200 miles from home and on my own. I was treated by a dedicated team of professionals and cared for with the highest standards.
Ann Cockayne: Staff friendly hospital clean and tidy departments easy to access
Tuleyb Ysl: children's ward, staff working very rude.
Kare Beck: I had an appointment at the Fracture clinic yesterday and considering the stress and pressure that these medical professionals endure daily, I was practically in and out. My appointment time was met, the doctor who saw to my treatment, was warm, informative and impressively efficient. I was receiving a cortisone injection for a very painful shoulder that I've suffered with for months. Today I'm finally pain free so would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff who took care of me. As an ex nurse myself I know how hard you all work and it's very much appreciated 👍
Alister Nyakudya: Such a great place for treatment i was there last week had a torsion the staff treated me very well even it took a bit longer waiting in the queue but they really dida great job on my operation keep on the good work guys,, and a few days later had to return with my pregnant wife shewas also treated very well you are excellent guys
Chace Swainston: Had to wait about 9 hours for a foot
Christine Fillingham: Was at pre-op dept yesterday and the staff were fantastic, professional, friendly and informativePut me totally at ease
Peter Jackson: Outstanding treatment from all the staff on ward S11 so professional nothing to much trouble and so friendly and accommodating a credit to the NHS
Samantha Kerridge: The disabled driver couldn't get parked for an appointment due to no blue badge drivers taking up all the disabled spots. She parked in the empty spot and the Tesla parked over her to stop her getting out or getting her chair in the car. She couldn't get a normal spot because they are up or down hills. Which are impossible in a wheelchair on her own.
K B: Blood service amazingly fast. Less than 10 min took to complete the blood test.
Michelle Little: Awful time in a&e have videos to prove how I was treated in A&e. They tried putting me in a filthy room (which have video and photo evidence of also they know I have OCD) now thankfully they have moved me on and I've been treated and cared for in the lovely hands of a very caring lady called katie hackford and i I come and met this lady before it would of been 10stars all the way also she should be a phlebotamist
Nick Moorcroft: Bloody awful. Given a date for urgent colonoscopy. They phoned the day before and asked me if I could come in an hour earlier to fill a cancellation. Came in 25 mins early and sat for almost two hours. Nil by mouth for over 24 hours following their bowel prep. Diabetic, didn't care kept waiting. Finally got see put on trolley and was told can't do it as the awful bowel prep I got was incorrect.Absolutely awful - didn't care, told to come back in May sometime. No apology, no nothing. I've always defended the NHS. No more. They need a manager in there to rectify their appalling organisation. Too many standing around chatting.
Carlos Dyer: Certain the best help on offer with men and women that flow within a Spirit of excellence yet please be patient with them as they are ordinary people doing extraordinary jobs through passion & empathy
Kamil Wrona: You will die before you get help
Paul Stewart: It was very busy and full nurse was very polite and helpful
Sharon Slack: I am doing a review on behalf of my dad.He would like me to praise Emanuel and Emma who both work on the AMU ward.Nothing is too much for these people and they have been so good to him. They have made his stay better for him and he really appreciated what they did fir him Thank you so much for the care given to him
Linsey Dickinson: Like to say a big thanks to the night staff on 22.03.23.On diagnostics day unit.Had a bad reaction to medication and the staff were on the ball straight away and looked after me perfect. Thanks so much ladies xI cannot knock this hospital at all.Been on AnE also with my partner and was looked after also.Linsey Dickinson
Heather Sprakes: Minor injuries is so bloody inefficient there is one nurse and one aged doctor who is between them seeing 1 patient every half an hour meanwhile we are all sat orstandin in the atrium baking with no watersupply is what can only be described and a greenhouse. ... this is not acceptable by todays standards and I have already been sat in my local emergency care unit and was sent here as the closed our on hospital.

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust: what do users think?
Nikki Walker: Hospital staff are fantastic and have looked after my daughter many times. My only issue is parking. My dad normally drops us off outside the main entrance then goes but hes just received a £100 parking fine claiming he parked at the main doors for half an hour in JANUARY but only just got the fine through. He didnt park there he went as always. Just be careful
Second Mabo: A&E triage nurse is rude, impolite and with hatred to the children.
Kimberley Tinkler: Out if 3 hospitals we are been seen at this has been the best by far. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure patients and parents are reassured and feel comfortable throughout. My daughter is nervous for her procedure but the staff have already put plans in place to make sure she is as happy and comfortable as possible on the day. Very grateful to have such hospitals for our children
Natasha Sayliss: We are so lucky to have this specialist Children’s Hospital in our city. They are absolutely brilliant, the staff are wonderful in every department and the hospital itself is so welcoming and beautifully decorated. I hope not to visit again, as obviously I want my children in perfect health, but I know that if we do need to visit, the children will be looked after, cared for, welcomed and safe. This hospital is a credit to us all
Souad Hussan: All the outpatients resptiontists are amazing, except for Michelle Allosop. I don't know what is wrong with this lady .always angry and stare with her eyes under the glass to the extent you feel that she is enforced to do her jobs. I have many appointments for my daughter, and everytime I tried to avoid to go or ask her. Honestly, she dealt with me not in a professional was. Smile to people is a good 👍 thing
Karen Evetts: Fabulous hospital. Have treated my daughter since 2020 with crohns disease. So helpful and kind and a big thank you to Dr Rao.
Beat Blader YT: The guy in Blue Corridor Plaster Room was so nice and kept making me laugh whilst he gave me a red cast but the guys a legend
jodie Manfredi: I took my daughter to children’s hospital after getting no where with my GP.I want to say a big thank you to the staff at children’s hospital for listening to me and taking my child’s illness seriously. My daughter is now at home recovering from an operation. All the staff was amazing. The doctors,Theatre staff and nurses. Thank you again❤️
Shuzina Khanom: Went to A & E as my 3 year old was in pain and had swollen tonsils like Ive never seen and a severe headache, where he was holding his head in pain. Saw the Triage Nurse straightaway however she put us down as low priority and we ended up being seen after a 9 hour wait, yes, NINE hours in a Children’s A & E, they Apparently it was due to staff shortages. When we first cane in the waiting time was shown as 3 hours & 30 minutes, and 2 & a half hours of waiting, the waiting time jumped to 6 hours, and thats what it stated throughout our 9 hour wait, when they should have changed it again to state that it was now a 8 or 9 hour wait. Alot of other families were seen before us even though they came hours after us and had children same age as my child, I understand that some kids maybe more ill than mine, but 9 hours to see a doctor, and this was us coming in at 10.30 pm. Fuming wasnt even the word. Sheffield Children’s hospital’s other departments are outstanding but A & E was a joke.
Ryan Benson: My daughter had a pulled elbow, the triage nurse and the nurse practitioner who treated her were brilliant, she was scared and they both put her at ease. We were advised that the wait could be up to 5 hours but we were out in 2 and a half.
Thomas Szczepanski: Thank you to all the amazing staff on ward 4 for looking after our one year old while she was in for a few days. What a fantastic team of people, truly a credit to the NHS and the local area. Again, thank you!
Mariusz Kobos: Good Family atmosphere children Hospital
John Pearson: Both my children have had treatments here and I can't praise the staff enough. From the guy on the car park to the cleaners, nurses, physios and doctors the service is excellent and everything you could hope for. Compassionate, professional and knowledgeable.
Lisa Shaw: My daughter, 15 at the time of first consultation, has been going with regard to a mole which is affecting her mental health very much and makes her feel very insecure. Her first appointment was over a year ago, we have had several appointments while she decided if she really wanted it removing. My last contact was in June with the consultant when I advised she wanted to go ahead with removal. She told us she would have to go in the waiting list, acceptable. A couple of weeks ago I decided to ring as I’d not heard anything. After the receptionist had looked into it she couldn’t find anything and said she would ring me back, which she did. We got an appointment for 2 weeks later, which I asked if this was for the removal as I was surprised, she advised yes!!After 2 weeks of various emotions, nerves and happiness we arrived for the appointment. The consultant started asking questions which were very familiar, so I asked if she was removing the mole, to which she said, “oh no, not today, she has to go on the waiting list” I was absolutely astounded and my daughter by now was sobbing, which broke my heart to see her like this. The consults was very abrupt and had no compassion for my daughter and carried on asking if she wanted to go on the list!! Of course she does, I thought she was already on it, since speaking with the previous consultant in June. My daughter is in her final year at school with GCSE’s pending and her prom next year, she was so excited this mole was being removed as it was in an area where it could be seen, hence her anxiety with it. I told the consultant we had been through all of this with the previous consultant! She still carried on, although she did say I could speak with PALS if I wasn’t happy!!!!I then saw the lady from PALS and aired my anger and grievances, I am now awaiting her findings on this absolute sham!! My daughter however is now back in depression mode after the euphoria of thinking she was finally getting rid of it!!The consultant was very rude and had no empathy whatsoever. Who do these people think they are, messing with children’s minds?? Her mental health has suffered too much already! 🤬
Ilikefire: It was great. We Likestaff were amazingfood was okbeds were somewhat comfortablegood sized roomKept cleanGreat serviceWe DislikeLittle food for parentswait timeso after I was better. They said they'd get some sort of prescription and take out the Ng tubeTwo hours later I'm still waiting with a Ng tube in my throat and no prescription 😡
Principal Tutor Learn to Shine Sheffield: Why are the people, assuming not qualified medical professionals, so rude here? They talk to you as if you’re a piece of cr*p. Perhaps refresh the training of frontline staff or employ people who know how to talk to members of the public. If you all want respect then perhaps ensure your give respect; totally inappropriate to speak to people how that person did.
Bilal Ali: Waited 4 hours not good
Rebecca Sowerby: Absolute amazing staff on the theatre admissions unit. My little girl had her tonsils and adenoids out and had gromits fitted. The anaesthetist Rob I think they called him was absolutely brilliant. He calmed my daughter down when she was having a full of meltdown . Megan the nurse that cared for her after was amazing. Answered all our questions. Thankyou NHS!! ☺️
Sharon Oxley: Just took my 16yr old to this A+E only to be told at 16 he's classed as a adult in Sheffield! Last time i looked at legal ages 18 was the age you become a adult. This takes the mick, disgusted isn't the word how can you legally get away with this?.
C smith: My daughter had a audiology test today on my way in to the department I asked a worker how I could get to MRI department as a few days later we had a scan booked too . He took my details and said he would try and get us done the same day , Paul his name was from radiology, he called me with in 15 minutes to say they could fit us in then, I was over the moon with how he treated us and the length he went to try and accommodate us. I’m giving him 5 stars as he was polite quick thinking and so helpful, he’s a asset to your team
Alison Tissington: Waited 1 hour 20 minutes after our appointment time for the ENT clinic. Then the appointment consisted of a fellow breaking the news that our consultant wanted to perform an operation that would make my son completely deaf in one ear. Asked for more info, told he couldn't give it us had to make an appointment with the consultant. No duty of care, no respect, no informed choice. All he did was scare my 15 year old son. Absolutely disgusting way to tell a child. And to top this off only one person works in the PALS office so you can complain and she is on annual leave for 2 weeks 🙄 not had a response to my complaint 2 months ago though when they made us wait an hour for the wrong clinic so no big surprise. Shame as the support workers and nurses are all amazing. The higher up though they need to go on patient care courses
