We had an incredible day there and hope to come back at some point in the near future.Huge thanks to all the team at the centre

Queen Mary Sailing Club: what do users think?
Beany 57: I can’t talk highly enough about this club and how well they’ve supported my son.He did all his sailing and windsurfing qualifications at QM and has now also passed his assistant instructor courses in both windsurfing and sailing.. It’s great for getting him outdoors and off his phone and games..It’s fully inclusive, my son is mixed race and he’s treated no different than anyone else also the staff and instructors are amazing, there’s a great cafe with lovely food and drink also..Go check it out, what do you have to lose..
Bartek Garlin: Good service
Elizabeth Marlow: Awesome, helpful friendly staff as always
S Williams: We walked around the reservoir which was lovely. Very cold so cover your ears !!!! It took about 1 hour 30 mins. After we went into the club house for a drink and something to eat. Very reasonable cost but the coffee is not the best, perhaps go for the tea. The service there is lovely, very friendly and the food we ate was excellent.
Antonello Mirone: I've been around many clubs 40/50 miles from where I live (Kingston) and also abroad (Italy) but nothing comes close to Queen Mary. The whole place is about 20m above ground, which gives clean wind for sailing and a very enjoyable view.As a sailor from Hastings, I showed my sailing certificates, registered as a member and I was able to go on the water straightaway.Finn helped me out to know better the club boats, him and all the staff are very professional.Changing rooms and equipment are kept the best I've ever seen so far and I just can't praise enough the hardwork of the staff.I'm amazed by the quantity of boats available and also by the automatic winch rope that helps bringing the boats up.I haven't been able to book any courses yet, as my dates hardly match the ones of the club, but I hope that soon I will be able to.
Peter Lucas: Great place to learn to sail. Highly recommend.
Louise MAK: Not an ideal venue to learn windsurfing as the location is too windy to handle for a complete beginner. Attended a two days windsurfing course ended up not able to pass the assessment and no advise was given how and what to do next to achieve the goal. The club facilities is good, but the water is only good for experienced and competent windsurfer.
Nuria Wilson: Excellent day full of action, thank you
Shahin Amini: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueJust completed my RYA Level 1 sailing course at Queen Mary Sailing Club. Great instructors and facilities. The club has a friendly and helpful community and is a great place to practice and learn; already booked for my RYA Level 2.
Grace Emery: Beautiful lake, lovely water, good for newbies. Great assistance from staff!
Harriet White: Only 2nd time I've been here since buying a windsurfer last year. I had to book and pay online due to Covid but it didn't matter a dot, I had a fab time. I properly last windsurfed 20-25 years ago and decided to buy a complete 2nd hand rig last year and get back on the water. QMSC is so convenient for us and on a day like today when the world and his wife have gone to the coast, it was lovely and quiet at QMSC and a gentle afternoon breeze. I hope to be back there again soon to build my confidence back up after years off the water.Thank you QMSC
Alain Stangroome: Great sailing club with good changing rooms and friendly staff.
Chelsea Kelleher: Emailed about booking in my brothers and sister for a taster session couldn’t even bother to respond.
Ray Wilkins: Thanks to QM Sailing Club for allowing public in to their "charity walk" which I know a lot of people would like to be able to participate in more regularly. As a local from Shepperton, I was able to donate and see areas that I was previously unable to see, with the added advantage of being c.40 ft above ground throughout the duration of the 4.2 mile perimeter.I have a number of photos that I took on that gloriously crisp clear November 18th Sunday, and I want to go on record to say a big thank you to the organisers, and I and others look forward to the next one.
Annie Helen: Sail ability is amazing thank you so much.
RASTA- MAUS: Very big and water not to cold
Tony Bishop: Friendly club with great Sunday racing, worth a visit to see in action.
Queen Mary SC: Incredible place of learning and escape from the city
oliver southgate: Good club, all the facilities you could want for a sailing club on hand.
The Holy One: The other review is not correct because the booms are meant to be low other wise the boat would be set up correctly and they would have had a much harder time sailing it, and as for it hurting im sure that if it could do any injury or hurt you they would have provided helmits or not let you on the boat
Γιάννης Γκούμας: I went for the dinghy taster course for beginners. Although the tutors were rude and arrogant this is not the reason to write this review. The reason is my concern about the safety of students. The boom set-up was dangerously low and the chance to hit the head was very high. There was no safety training and after five minutes of induction we were put individually on the boats. Fortunately the boom did not hit me but as I could see it hurt badly heads of other students.
