After forgetting to order one of our chairs and then damaging the sofa on delivery, it’s been a year since we had it delivered and this is still not sorted. Sofology have ordered the wrong parts 3 times and each time we have had to take time off of (self employed) work to be at home, only for the repair not to take place. We’ve lost a huge amount of money! I would strongly recommend you think twice about buying from this company.

My mother has had huge problems.They will send no reply emails to you... no telephone number for the shop you purchased from....and when you use the generic telephone number you will get message like you are number 24 in the queue.After getting a text to arrange delivery.... hold on the phone number.... 24 in line.... and wait and wait and at the end of it.... its not in and to call back a few days later after its its been scanned.Wow ! .... how useless can sofology be.Why dont you get more phones... more staff and get your calls answered !!! its not rocket science.if we are no 24 waiting on the telephone doesnt show that you need to stop trying to force everyone onto the web.
nice gazza: I don't like to be negative, but I would give 0 stars if possible, staff were very rude. I feel like the sofology way of life with the iPad system left me rather isolated in a 'do it yourself' sort of attitude. Quite snubbish if I do say so myself. I feel used. Yours faithfully, NG.

Robert Cranham-Glancy: AVOID LIKE THE VIRAL PLAGUE!We ordered TWO sofas over 14 months ago (28th June 2021 to be precise!) & paid in full. Despite being told that delivery would be between 4-6 weeks, Only one has arrived. The ‘Occasional Love Seat’ some 9 months late. It is not big enough for my husband & I to sit on together, so ironically we have to rotate sitting one on the floor whilst the other uses the sofa. After a few months of use, I am really disappointed with the quality of the one sofa that’s arrived. The arms are coming loose & fabric has started to fray. Not really what Helena Bonham Carter puts forward in her TV advert, whilst eating cake! However, The second sofa we ordered (at exactly the same time) has never arrived! We have tried calling customer service to be given conflicting information as to where our lost sofa is! (In fact at one point, we were not even allowed to call customer service! It had an automated message saying “They would call us!”) If I could cancel the whole thing & go somewhere else, I would! We were told in store that sofas were manufactured in the UK, even through we now know they are outsourced to China! Terrible Company, Terrible Customer Service & Terrible Quality! £1000’s spent & nothing to show for it. Seriously considering litigation to recover our money! As my title suggests, AVOID!
DTS DTS: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. AWFUL customer service following incorrect order. Neither the store manager at the local Reading Branch neither customer service are attentive so far to deal with the issue.

Serkan Kalemoglu: I have placed the order at the beginning of April with a delivery date of June 13.Since June 15 I am chasing the customer service. They promised to call back in 24 hrs which never happened and they have escalated the case to call me in 4 hrs which also didn't happen.Finally, today, I spoke to an agent and she said the order was never placed with Sofology's supplier??? And the only remedy is to order it again with 8 weeks lead time!!! ( Minimum). I started to live in the house with no sofas. I would say my experience so far is total disaster both in sales and customer service!!! Don't recommend.

Joe Kan: I ordered a set of 2 and 3 seater sofa end of Oct and paid in full. Sales confirmed the delivery on 6 Nov. Then they postponed to 6 Dec. and so far we just received one 3 seater and advised the 2 seater will deliver on 19 Dec, again nothing happened until today is 28 Dec. I got no any calls from Sofalogy and no idea when my 2 seater sofa will come !?

Ana Vujosevic: Bought a Zinc sofa several weeks ago, the delivery drivers cut the sofa. We called customer services over 10 times, managers refused to call us and contact us about the cut. We wanted a replacement because the Reading DFS advised us that the repairs will not be good (because customers have complained about the fabrics being different) . We finally spoke to the Slough manager who said we have no choice but to go with the repair.If we are unhappy with the repair we can't complain either according to the Slough manager.Complete lack of communication, unable to refund, unable to replace. Took nearly 3 weeks for the Slough manager to call after raising several tickets with customer service and the managers from Reading contracting them!If I could I would give 0 stars. AWFUL service and awfully rude Slough manager.

Melika Madani: I bought a sofa yesterday from a sales rep called Josh Ward and I feel compelled to write a review as he was extremely caring, professional and helpful.Josh went out of his way to explain the policy, the design and spec of the furniture and all my options as a first time buyer from DFS Reading.....His manor was warm, friendly, clear and he was super knowledgeable. We felt like he cared about what he was selling and understood our needs he was very attentive and approachable with a great sense of humour..... A very enjoyable experience!

Roseanne Newman: Fuming is an understatement!! Was advised very specifically that the ex display sofa I purchased on a Saturday will be removed from the shop floor on the Monday then delivered within two weeks. Two and a half weeks later and my sofa is STILL ON THE SHOP FLOOR for people to sit on, kids to rub their grubby hands on. Requested an explanation and I'm just told 'we can't remove it until 22nd, that would have been explained' let me make it very clear, this was not explained to me in any way, my friend was with me and she heard the exact same I did. I do not appreciate being called a liar and I do not expect to pay for something for it be held in store for nearly a month. Not even had an apology. Appauling customer service. I was told a manager would call me but they clearly don't know how to deal with the public because I had a call from the salesman and nothing from the manager.

Deceitful, dishonest and lacking in any empathy.Sofas that we were told would be held for us, were sold on to other customers at a discounted rate, without warning.I was told by David in store that we were contacted whilst our daughter was unwell in hospital. I don't think it would have been too much to ask to wait for our response before they resold to others.We have lost our deposit, despite wanting to reorder the sofas.Cant help but feel I have dodged a bullet if this is how they treat new customers.

We found yesterday there was a crack suddenly across the table broke our heart. How could happened such an expensive table without any accident.So we contacted furniture Village with proof of pictures but they said can't do anything due to the accidental damage. How did they know it's accidental damage? It's really frustrating.. how I carefully watched out my dining set from the day we purchased. What about the guarantee... how could they say to their customer? Hurts a lot..

However, then other day I got chatting with Kira at the store and could finally place my order seamlessly with him with the reassurance that the delivery will be on time; it was actually before time!!Kira did an amazing job explaining all the product details and the finance options and offered; and even though I couldn’t negotiate a lower price with him, I know that he made a genuine effort to help me with a promotion price. I wish I could convince him to bend a bit and save some money!!All in all, a wonderful experience interacting with him at this store and I wish him all the best!
