Trespass: what do users think?
Joseph Lazarus: 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
nabeel mughal: Most certainly the worst high street retailer, to top it up they have hired absolutely rubbish staff as managers no manners and definitely they have not heard of a customer service or satisfaction.Bought couple of T shirts on Friday, just picked these up looking at size and didn’t try these on, once tried realised one of them had a stain looked like an oil or cream stain, anyway didn’t think much of it and took it back for exchange, but the spotty long haired manager told me that I needed to prove to him that the stain was there when I bought it. T shirt is £10/ and this almost a man type of manager decided to argue endlessly instead of simply exchanging it.Think this company has this policy of discouraging customers to return anything. Just pathetic attitude.
Ionut Taran: Nice selection of styles!
Gill Cranston: Really nice store and staff. A little dark inside but nice.
Anna Jasman: Bardzo fajny sklep z rzeczami na kamping, wspinaczki gorskie i mase innych aktywnosci. Goraco Polecam.
Παναγιώτα Κατσίκα: This branch is closing soon unfortunately.
Hamzeh Momani: I have bought Jacket before about 1.5 year. And a tear happened in the jacket ( I dont know why this happend). I made a complain in the store. But nothing happend and they did not do anything. Not recommended brand at all.
Richard Sipson: Good service . Brought a nice pair of walking shoes good variety at a nice reduced price.
Sanjeev Kumar Rathod: Good Quality products.
Dee Summerill: Great shop for outdoor gear, great prices.
Robert Heal: Last week the sale made it even more valuable for money than ever.
Daz Fitch: Descent outdoor clothing store with reasonable prices
Anita Williams: Great prices in the sale items.
Arindam Bhattacharya: Reasonable collection for mens and ladies winter ware
Zack Boyboy: Very friendly staff! Was served in the shoe section by a nice boy wearing a scarf face mask, will be coming back, highly recommend 👍
Janet Duncan: No one came to serve/help us . We were to here trying on hiking boots for 30 mins or more. We gave up & went elsewhere but n the end and bought 2 pairs from a competitor.
Phill Johnston: Good stuff but I found prices were poorly labelled in the discount section
Robin Ireland: Good sale. Feels a bit sad.
Russell Lomando: Nice selection
Christopher Martin: Seems to have the best selection of gents clothing around my area (better than Camberley, Farnborough and Basingstoke). Generally helpful staff although the inspire lighting, particularly upstairs, could do with improvement
Salma Noor: Staff very helpful, great experience, very good quality clothes, amazing when they have sales

Decathlon Reading: what do users think?
Robbie Mills: Jake in the Reading Decathlon was very helpful and friendly in interrupting what he was doing and showing me to various sections of the store and the range of different items I needed. He obviously knew the store layout very well and also great detail about the products (materials, durability and sizing). He even had a tape measure on him to help me choose the right equipment. Great service. Thanks Jake and thanks Decathlon.
First Step: Ju was so helpful. We wanted to buy camping equipment for the first time. She guided us not just with products but also gave the options n understood the requirements
Tanisha: came in to look for sandels and and found what i needed. really lovely worker Charles helped me out :)
Ali Smith: Great service, Aswin really did me a solid yesterday, hugely appreciated!

Wénkata Pokkunuru: Great experience always ..
Romario Williams: Kudos to Moyo and Vadim at the Reading Decathalon for the great customer service skills, much appreciated,Regards,R.Williams
Andrew Routledge: Always been happy with their equipment. Great to have such a huge range of different equipment on your doorstep
Wayne Mcintyre: Ju couldn’t have been more helpful, demoing the tents, beds and making sure I had all I needed for camping.
History Of saudi: I had an issue concerning the golf shooting range; however, Bradley explained everything to me, and he was accommodating and cheerful.
Pete Connolly: Good sized shop with a pretty good variety of stock.
Praise Idemor: Decathlon Reading is huge! And a great place to shop. Many thanks to their helpful staff especially Moyo who gave the best tips on how to begin my weight loss journey!
Amine Chaarani: Very good service from Moyo, helped us pick a good bike for our son, she is very friendly and helpful 👍
Poppy Harris: George helped me buy a pair of running shoes (a pair of New Balance). I was nervous about buying them as I recently broke my ankle running but he gave me good advice and made me feel better about going into the sport again. He was also very friendly - I enjoyed talking to him about his running endeavours!
Jagjeet Singh: Really pleased with the Service ....Thank You Derek ...you're an asset to organisation
Roopa Vijayan: Great customer service by Ju ☺️ She was very patient and explained all the details which helped us in selecting the right product…Thank you Ju 😊
Pauline Greig: Moya was a great help with buying a new bike and advise on accessories.
Darrell Forkin: Made an appointment for a bike repair and general checking online which was very easy. The technician, Derek, was absolutely superb, really lovely guy and excellent at his job and he did the repair there and then. The final bill was a fraction of what i was expecting and i am extremely grateful for such an excellent service.5 stars all the way and highly recommended.Thank you Derek.
Rory Cantellow: Decathlon in Reading has been a favourite for a long time. I’ve bought some great stuff here. I went today [21st May 2023]. I was a bit disappointed. The protein supplements that are now by the main isle on entrance (footfall change) are … overpriced. Very. The rest of the store is messy and cluttered. The gym clothing is … cheap and tacky. I still have kalenji gym vests and running trunks from 6 years ago but nothing new here. Disappointed. Not what it was.
Abraham Varghese: Ju was very helpful during our shopping. She advised and aided us extremely well - we found all the items we needed (socks, belts and trousers).

Sports Direct: what do users think?
Mike K: Poor in all respects. This location is set to close soon - and thankfully so! Spread across three floors and without any logic to the layout, this is one of those shops that you just can’t be bothered with. And similarly, staff here can’t be bothered with customers. If you’re wanting to try something on, bone idle shop floor staff will direct you to the tills, where you must apparently queue for a fitting room key.So all in all, terrible. And don’t forget that Sports Direct do not offer refunds - one more reason not to shop there!
richard g: I can only assume this is a terrible company to work for, as staff don't even crack a smile, no customer service, good place to buy socks though. Wanted to try some clothes, was ushered to the tills as that is where the key is, but only one person on the till with a long queue. How hard would it have been for the staff member to just walk down the shop and unlock changing rooms. Gave up and left.
Emily Dtone: The only reason I don't like SPORTS DIRECT as it's on 3 floors. I can't do the lift the stairs all the escalators going down.
Srinivas Sarma: Little expensive . They said they are moving. So keep looking for a new location
mohan kumar: I wonder how stores with such pathetic customer service still exists in this era. The customer rep on the billing desk is so arrogant and sarcastic , store manager needs to teach your staff some basic customer service etiquette’s. I would never recommend anyone to this store ever . If this continues you guys will close down soon. Train your staff.
Alice Mu: I went into this shop prepared to buy one specific pair of shoes, I asked one worker to see if they have the pair… they said yes and sent me upstairs without telling directions so I asked another employee if they sold the shoes they said no, obviously I was very confused and stressed, eventually they told me to go back down stairs to see, with frustration I went down the escalator and asked another employee this one said we don’t sell the shoes try upstairs I already told them that we got sent upstairs twice, I am generally a patient person, but the staff had terrible customer service and the lack of organisation was an absolute nightmare, don’t get me started on the sexism, and discrimination!!Overall I wasn’t happy
Elliott Baker: Manager doesn’t want to help any customers. Good job bud.
Kevin Archer: Trainers rubbish and costly ,b there for cap soon very.
Kate Trussler: Needed a cabin bag, was able to measure bags and choose, staff were happy for me to do this, came away with a decent bag at a very reasonable priceShop not to busy, staff helpful
Uma Pandey: Ladies section incredibly crowded, unfriendly, unhelpful staff!!!
Matt: Asked store MANAGER about stock in other shops as none in broad street store, couldn't be less helpful... Had no interest in finding out, when he gave me a premium cost phone number to call I asked why didn't he call from store instead of expecting me, the customer, to pay to find out. He refused point blank, and when I started pointing out how ineffective the company was in a very deliberately quiet manner, he started getting defensive and raising his pitch and accusing me of having a go. Ridiculous! Not a single person I asked for help from there looked or sounded happy, and the manager is obviously dialling it in. If you don't like your job, upgrade to McDonald's with that attitude.Bought from Decathlon round the corner in the end, with staff who gave a toss, and understood the concept of having a store phone number so you can speak to someone... I know... Mindblowing technology!!
The Captain: Beware they do not give refunds. Complete con job!
Min Liu: I bought a pair of footwear to my son. But he doesn’t like it. So I went to shop and asked refund. But they said I can’t ask refund, they only provide exchange or credit note. When I bought the shoes , no one told me I can’t ask for refund. It’s not fair to customers. The stuff ask me to find email on their website, actually it’s not working on their website. Manager told me their stuff are busy, they don’t have the obligation to tell customers, because they leave a notice on the right side of the till. Can they promise everyone see the notice? Why the policy is different?
Sami Brahimi: I had a very BAD experience in this shop, very lazy staff, when i Asked membre of staff nicely about item he was very rude. The Business will never improve with this behavour.
June Hawkes: Staff not very helpful.
Leanna Jones: Although the shop has lots of choice and the items are cheap the customer service is really appalling. I asked for help with purchasing the right pair of trainers for long distance running but was made to feel like a massive inconvenience. I ended up leaving and buying trainers elsewhere.
David Collins: Went into the Reading store on Saturday 21/01/23 thoroughly unpleasant experience. Rude member of staff in the shoe section. Unhelpful and disrespectful. Will not be using them again. Do not recommend. 0/10 😞 the staff don't appear to be interested in helping anyone.
Emily: Lots of staff all standing around doing nothing with no desire to help
Claudiu Tudor Lazar: I was in the shop to buy a jacket which I saw on the internet.I found the jacket quite hard because the only support I received was "look on jacket section without to show me where it is". They may were happy but I was expecting to be a little bit more support.
Steve: Had to go in multiple times because they never have shoes in 12. What you see online is different to in store. Some items isn't even in store. Click and collect is £5 charge or same price as delivery so totally pointless. Click and collect from store should be free. Staff are hard to spot as they look like normal customers.
Anita Williams: Great for their sales.Lift is very old and small.

Blacks: what do users think?
Paul Froome: Great store, good product range and incredibly helpful staff.
Ben L: variety of goods
Lu Parrott: After reading a previous review on here I decided that I would give them a try.I needed some new walking boots for Cotswold challenge but I needed some advice in which would be best for my wider feet. Luciana was very helpful in finding me the right pair of shoes. Patient and understanding, with a whole wealth of knowledge it left me feeling positive for my Cotswold challenge.
Geoff Warner: Plenty of range of clothing at reasonable prices and excellent service
Praveen Puranik: I love visiting this shop for outdoor activities shopping 🛍
Stefanie: My dad was looking for a new pair of shoes and walked in there to see if he can find anything (usually has issues finding shoes that are a good fit). He is a bit of a character and the fact that he was visiting from the continent and doesn't speak a word of English made it a bit trickier. But Sam, the staff member who helped us, was absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for the great customer service!!
Jane Mcardle: Good range and staff had the patience of saints.
Anita: I brought a lovely pair of walking boots a week ago Berghaus Hillwalkers. I had Luciana, the manager, helping me to choose a pair of walking boots. Luciana really does knows her stuff she had great knowledge on walking boots. I would highly recommend Blacks in Reading very friendly staff.Thank you so much
David May: Nicely laid out and delightfully friendly and helpful staff.
Denzel: I went down there a few days ago to go have a look at what tents I could use for the upcoming festivals this year and I was abit lost but one of the store assistants Kelvin really helped me out and guided me through the tents unfortunately I didn’t buy one but he actually helped me gain better knowledge about tents but I’m writing this review to thank Kelvin for his hard work and his knowledge about the store and he was just a really cool guy with great customer service skills for such a young age and I hope to see him again in the future and this time be able to buy something.
Max Chandler: Great service from Ben offerring great recommendations.
mark foster: Congested store. Can be busy, and this can lead to customers misplacing goods. Recently chose some boots until the price at checkout was much higher than marked because someone had returned boots to the wrong shelf position
Jumbee Sidhu: Great store 👏
Vincent White: Great shopping
Noel D'cruz: Alot of reasonable pricing and deals
Zac Lees: Big thanks to Kerri and the team for helping us find a summer hat in the depths of winter! Great service 😊
Antonios Chrysoulakis: Great quality always.. helpful stuff
Ross: It was the Sunday of the Black Friday weekend but the staff were a bit stroppy and it took me an eternity to buy a pair of socks so I could try on some hiking boots. I couldn't get any pairs of boots in my size either (I'm a 10). I ended up having to walk out without buying anything because of how uncomfortable the staff had made me feel and how long it was taking to get served.
Amy H: Friendly and attentive staff...though i felt like i was pressured to finish my shopping as they started closing down 15-20 min before the actial closing time.
Dick Hopkins: Usually find Black's helpful. Searched for an item for me and found the last one!
Emily Dtone: I like the shop called Black in Reading Town Centre it's nice shop you can get all your stuff from there for outdoor

JD Sports: what do users think?
Lee Taylor: Good choice of stuff and service was quick
BrothaNige: Very nice staff & a decent selection of sportswear
Kavya Panchal: No good cricket equipment
Linton Robi: I miss my airforce
MH Mehedi: Pretty good
Ana remolacha: Los trabajadores muy amables y muy atentos hacia el cliente
Patricia Murtagh: Popin here today. Guy and girl advised me what trainers I needed as I hurt my foot and needed some which did hurt. Nice to know shop assistants have time instead of fobbing you off just get a sale. Thank you.
morgan Elliott: JD SPORTS READING -Me, mum and brother wondered into JD today just looking for a pair of trainers for myself. And we ended up spending quite a bit of time in the shop trying on loads of different styles of shoes. We were being helped by FRANKIE, he was very kind and patient and joined in for a laugh too. Made us feel at ease and was very helpful. Thank you JD, but thank you to FRANKIE also.
Abdulkarim Jama: JD has really good customer service and good products
Aj “Red Dragon” May: This shop isn't too bad sometimes things are abit over priced considering the quality
Steven Davidson-Smith: Rude Staff Got Ignored Twice By A Member Of Staff Wont Be Returning To This Store Again Thanks Alot 👍
Mario Balestri: Very good selection at good prices
Sabina J: Staff not even trying to do their job had ti wait around 15 minutes each time for someone to bring trainers with two small kids waiting 50 min to try any trainers for them....deffo not getting back there soon
Aj Hussain: Aneesa was absolutely amazing rushed over to help
Malcolm Butler: Went in there to ask if they had the Scotland 150th anniversary football top in stock or to order it and sadly they did not have it but was given a phone number of customer care department so watch this space
Chris Marshall: Good range of clothing and sports clothing for both adults and children, but I found the staff a bit clueless.
Kshitij Ojha: Good stuff at reasonable price and discounts, staff could have been friendlier
C C: Large JD sport
Oksana Priadyn: Super
Brendon Nicholl: Great store with a great selection of good brands that are always kept neat and tidy.
Dana Soltinschi: The customer experience was ridiculous, and I will definitely not go again to this store. All fitting rooms were locked, which made the store look more like a prison than a place where to enjoy doing some shopping and relax after a working day. I was also asked to leave my bag (with a laptop) outside the fitting room. Seriously? I don't appreciate at all being treated like a thief for no reason. Obviously I just went away without buying the leggings I was actually planning to buy if I would have had a human customer experience. Never again!

Snow + Rock Chertsey: what do users think?
Jen Thomas: Popped in to check out a product we had seen online (on the brands own website). The member of staff helping us with ‘on’ trainers was very helpful, bringing out all the different styles and colours he had available. He was very knowledgable on all products and extras that may be required.
Alex Jackson: One pair of Rock shoes and one harness!!! Not a proper mountaineering shop anymore... So sad
B C: Terrible service, refuse to take back a burton snowboard wheelycase when there is a lifetime warranty and burton themselves have told me to return it to an official burton retailer. I will now inform burton of the way I have been treated abruptly and with no regards to the directions given to me by the manufacturer. I will never buy from snow and rock in my life.
Mike Ambroziak: Don't bother going to Chertsey if you are interested in climbing gear. There is one very small corner with items on display. They have only one make of harness and a couple of makes for shoes. The staff are difficult to find and when you do track someone down they have no interest in engaging with you as a customer and no interest in the products. The attitude of the staff is that they have had to come and serve you instead of sleeping. The manager should be ashamed of the service, which ranks high for the worst I have experienced.
Josephine Egan: Thank you so much to Paul for helping me out with my gait testing , taking into consideration different foot support I need for different sports . Paul also remained professional and polite when another customer was being disruptive and rude … well done to Paul and the team for dealing with this so well !
John Maillet: Bought ski boots, staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when choosing the right fitting.Note, obtaining a booking can be difficult unless out of typical 9-5 working hours
fiona willstead: Much reduced variety of stock than it used to have
Isabel Puddy: You must book a fitting for bootsWhen staff realised we didn't have a booking we were then ignored even though we were hoping to buy new outfitsIt's not what it used to be
Romans Kosinskis: poor choice and overpriced.
Joe Van Der Toorn: Store looks great and lots of equipment/selection but awful service.I counted around 6 members of staff and only one customer (me). After asking and waiting for help no one came to assist me.If you can’t get served when the store is empty when can you?!
Ernesto Santos: Great service
Allan McMillan: I can see why they are going broke and closing stores. No staff to help with purchase. Finally when my daughter said to one guy " do you work here" they sent someone to ask what we wanted.Did not have my size of boot so we went home.Looked on line at home and about £30 cheaper including postage. These warehouse sized stores will not survive.I did think of going to Bagshot store but that has been closed.R.I.P Snow and Rock.
Ross mackintosh: They were great, super friendly, and helpful. Nice place to speand an hour or so.
sian melrose: Visited this store in on lots of occasions yesterday there were plenty of staff especially downstairs but I waited 20 minutes at the hiking section wanting to try on waking shoes . I was told someone would be with me in two minutes. Every other section had staff. When I went to the till to pay for something else I mentioned the lack of service and that there was another couple waiting upstairs. The young lady serving just shrugged if off didn’t inform anyone and then I saw her walk from the store presumingly to go home. Her attitude stunk. Definitely staff training and better store management needed !
Michele di Raghio: Very fair and knowledgeable staff. Excellent after sales service, made adjustments to my ski boots on 3 consecutive years after ski trips to improve the feel.Took my ski boots in after an Italian ski shop said they were in danger of shattering because of age, and Snow + Rock examined them and said although boots can shatter with age yours are fine, you don't need to buy new ones.Easy free parking.
Jacqui Exelby: Welcoming and helpful.
Andy Smith: Generally very good - range not great as no Salomon boots in my (fairly average) size.
Amanda Crockford: Lovely store with excellent products.Friendly staff-great customer service
Sophie Wedlake: I had ski boots fitted here last week as I needed to get some boots to accommodate painful bunions. Konstantinos was extremely helpful despite being very busy and was also very knowledgable about my specific issue. After taking measurements he gave me models of boots to try which best suited my foot shape. He subsequently spent a lot of time adjusting the boots that I chose to make them more comfortable around the bunions. Jason was also equally helpful and on hand to advise and help with any questions when Konstantinos was busy. I was very happy with my experience and reassured that I can go back to have further adjustments if necessary.
Sophie Simpson: Went to Snow + Rock for a Gait assessment. Based on a couple of reviews I was concerned how good it would be, but I had no need to be worried. Julius was brilliant, so informative at identifying my issues and trying so many pairs of shoes to find the right ones! Plus he offered that if I wasn’t happy after 90 days to come back. Highly recommend and lots of options
Antoine B: Avoid. Their website is full of decently priced ski gear, but this store is the complete opposite. Only the very expensive stuff in stock, terribly messy presentation (especially in the goggles/mask area), and the staff don't really seem to care. Most items don't have price tags (you have to ask them to scan it for you), and the few that do will be in the £200+ range, regardless of what you're looking at!Save your time and money and just go to Decathlon.

Sports Direct: what do users think?
Sammy: A couple of the younger members of staff were very helpful, the lady at the til was quite abrupt bit polite enough.A very tidy store and lots of stock
John Collis: Did not have all I required a little short on staff but those they had tried
Eve Saunders: Service here was awful! No one wanting to help. Two members of staff were too busy wanting to flirt with one another instead of helping us and doing their jobs. One of the employees even said (in a lazy attitude)in front of us when we asked for help for “can another employee do this so I can go on my break instead” which was extremely rude and unprofessional. They need a retraining in customer service, can’t imagine head office or the managers would be impressed with how we were treated.
Saadia Nadeem: Just perfect, good variety of stuff at a reasonable price 👍
Jitendra Sune: All the regular stuff but a bigger store. Though found less options for cricket gear
david culley: Cramped badly laid out and can't find most things easily better at the new one in Bracknell where it's all laid out in bigger space
Toby Wilson: Forget this is really a sports fashion store.. Tried asking if they sell spare rugby studs to be laughed at by the staff member, and told that the store is too small to sell stuff like that..
no naMe NobodY: Mens selection only black gray or white colors also xxl sizes and s.m sizes looks like time stop here long time ago all jumpers looks like potato bags.Horrible shop and waste time to visit here
Helen Thomas: Very helpful staff, parking right outside the door and very favourable prices, tank you
Susan Alexander: Busy shop but super-'helpful assistant who found us exactly what we were looking for.
Sherry Stargatt: Not enough staff .
The Fantastic Whovian927: Found what we wanted
Boikie “Mboy” Osupeng: They got it all.
The van: Many things there
Darek Jasica: Very tidy, friendly staff
Mary Jane: Friendly and helpful staff, well organised.
Kira Boyce: This is definitely the better sports direct in reading, but the staff are SO miserable
Ali Ghabeli Juibary: Staff are not helpful at all. They are always upset. They are not even trying to answer you questions. The worst custumor service in the UK.
Kelly Smith: Staff are rude. After realising that you cannot get a cash refund, they smirk at you. Horrible customer service
cheung man: Good. Goods are plentiful.
