Alex Scott: Another visit overnight to Malmaison in Reading and was once again given a fantastic 5* service. I also had a delicious dinner in the restaurant, the food was outstanding. Special thank you to Nick who made my stay very welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Simon Birkbeck: Rooms comfortable, but dark decor throughout. Air conditioning good in rooms. Breakfast pleasant. All round worth staying.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Adam Cole: The poorest of the malmaison group.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
sade finn: It’s such a beautiful hotel, very good prices and very nice location! The room was so lovely and the staff were so sweet
Fotokunst RheinMain: Keine warme Dusche!
Stuart Beamish: One of the best hotels in the centre of Reading. 2 minute walk from the station. Trendy inside, bags of style. The rooms are large with large bathrooms, some with outside terraces. Coffee machine with pods, bottled water and soaps provided in the room. The food was excellent but a bit pricey £33 for ribeye steak chips and salad, but it was hard to fault. No parking, but there are car parks from £11/day nearby.Rooms: Large rooms with large bathrooms, some with terraces. Luxurious inside.Food & drinks: The food is as good as any top end restaurant.
Phil Wheeler: Second time we have stayed here, ideal if you are arriving or departing Reading via train or the RailAir coach service. Friendly staff in reception. We arrived early and wanted to just drop our bags off, which isn't an issue, however our room was ready so we checked in early. Previous stay we had a club room and this is the standard, but as you can see still very nice. Ideal for our overnight stay before early departure for the Eurostar in the morning. Has a bar and room service is from 3pm until 10pm.
The Knightstrider: Wouldn’t stay again. Unfortunately despite being in a great loction, our stay was ruined by no hot water for 4 days as the boiler had broken down. No real apology other than a letter on our bed full of excuses as to why it couldnt be fixed due to bank holidays. We complained to the front desk multiple times and we were offered just £100 back of our £550 total bill. This just about covered our £5 showers at the train stations. Handled very poorly, not even an offer of a breakfast or drink for the inconvenience of not having a basic necessity for our stay (hot water). Room and hotel were fine but the poor management of the situation let us down. Regular maintenance checks of the boiler system would have avoided a major breakdown that punishes your guests!
James Murray: I've often stopped by the hotel bar but this was my first time in the hotel. Rooms were lovely and staff were nice, but there was no hot water in our room. I'd hope this was a one off but I have to rate based on my experience.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Graham Clifford: We booked a package which included a junior suite plus 3 course meal, with a bottle of champagne, and breakfasts the following day. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, especially Yvette and Matt in the restaurant. The Flying Scotsman suite was a very good size, with a decent sofa seating area and large bathroom. The food in the restaurant, both in the evening and during the morning breakfast, was fabulous - we both commented that it was some of the best restaurant food we’d had for a long time. A great stay with no complaints.
Claire Woods: I needed a place for a last minute business lunch near the station and decided to try Malmaison in Reading. We went to the bar and were served by a very welcoming employee called Yvette. Yvette went out of her way to look after us, our drinks and food were absolutely spot on and the service was the best I have had for a very long time!Next time I need to go somewhere in Reading for a business lunch I will most certainly go back to Malmaison!Noteworthy details: Yvette is an absolute star!!!!
Carol Adkins: We ate last night in the brasserie and had an excellent meal. Each course as well presented, we tried the crispy calamari, burgers and steak with half a bottle of house red and white. Yvette our waitress was friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable eveningService: 5/5 …More
damon grégory: We spent one night before leaving to Heathraw. The crew was very kind and helpful with our 6 big baggages plus our cat. Thanks for helping us carrying them to the train station.Sorry for having left in the rush.
Mo: This place is a gem out of London.1 min walk from the station. The staff is absolutely amazing and the junior suite (orient express)? Ooooooo we did not want to leave!!!! Thank you guys! :)Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chris Giles: The rooms were not very good. Getting a bit old and rough around the edges. The shower head needed descaling. Bathrooms had nowhere to hang the hand towels or anywhere to hang near the shower. The USB charging points did not work next to the bed, the desk lamp did not work and worst of all the WiFi is completely insecure. No passwords needed to access at all!! Also the cleaners were very noisy in the early morning by repeatedly slamming adjoining room doors. Won't be staying again unless they give the rooms a refresh. The staff were great and dud go above and beyond. The breakfasts were good as well, although the portion sizes were different each morning. That meant the value for money was diminished without explanation
Tracey: I would like to thank the staff and especially Nick for providing me with the things I requested for my partner’s birthday. They let me send parcels over to the hotel so I didn’t have to bring it all back with me. I appreciate the set up for the table and the extra drinks and snacks you added to the room, we could not thank you enough. I’ve stayed in Mal Maison Reading for a few times now their rooms are clean, the restaurant food is so good and everything else is up to good standard. I recommended to family and friends, this hotel does not dissapoint. Highly recommend. See you soon!🙂

Ian Gunn: Great Hotel. Room was spotless, huge king size bed with very useful air conditioning. Easy to find and convenient for the motorway and free parking which is most unusual. My only gripe would be the food in the restaurant is a touch expensive. Indoor swimming pool is a bonus which I didn’t get to use unfortunately. I would definitely return.
Abdulrahim Sokoto: The hotel was absolutely amazing. The service, room, pool and fitness centre were fantastic. However, the breakfast was really great as it had halal selection but could’ve benefited from a wider selection of food. The location was also difficult and expensive to get to. Local Taxi costs £15 to train station and buses are about 6-10 mins walk from the hotel. Ubers hardly accept bookings from there.
Ian Bird: I like this hotel but it isn't in the centre of reading, a 10min taxi will do the job. Friendly staff together with a modern hotel including , nice restaurant, bar and gym , pool and jacuzzi.Normally, I'm not impressed with breakfast. However, I'm happy to say the breakfast here was impressive, great selection, and very tasty 😋.

Habib Kant Dr.: Great experience & a very comfortable stay.Rooms: Nice spacious rooms with excellent bedding. The staff were nice cordial. Especially at the front desk, Jana was very helpful and arranged a taxi for me promptly when I needed it fast. Thanks a lot for a memorable stay. XoXo
Paul Kilner: Booked for 2 nights staying dinner bed and breakfast, my colleague and myself. On the 1st night went to dinner and asked the member of staff what our dinner booking includes or limit, we were told "no limit" this seemed a little odd but as it was late only had a desert and a soft drink. Next night checked with same sever there was no limit and this was confirmed, seemed a little hard to belive as could then say "i would like one of everything" and asked to get this confirmed by manager. He came and told us now it has a £20 limit. When asked where this figure came from he said it was on the booking documentation and if we wanted to see it we need to go to reception. So off we went and low and behold this fictious £20 was nowhere to be seen. There was no amount shown at all. We were then told that this was an issue with the booking system. The problem was that this mythical £20 limit barely covers 10% of main courses. Then upon further investigation we identified they were now going to try and charge us for the 1st nights food. This took a lot of arguing to confirm we shall not be paying for this. Only solution offered was pay for your dinner tonight and if the booking details all match after an investigation they will refund the cost. NO TIMESCALE given.Shocking service from what is supposed to be a premium chain of hotels.I do however feel the two staff members we spoke to hand their hands tied a little by the company above. The booking system clearly is not fit for purpose and is an easy excuse to use.Be careful what you book is what you get
Paul Richardson: Easy to get to. A good underground car park with (whilst I was here) lots of free bays. The rooms are basic but clean. I wish they would put power sockets next to the beds. The air conditioning makes lots of strange noises.
fakher shili: Nice visit and delicious food 👍

Hotel Novotel Reading Centre: what do users think?
Chloe Parker: Absolutely perfect for a fun hotel stay, spot of local shopping and a swim. We often take our daughter for a night stay. Just for fun ☺️Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Jodie Waters: Small rooms. Terrific location. Great meals. Would recommend.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Angela Bowman: In for Royal Ascot lovely haven just a short train ride away from Ascot (Direct train 30-40 mins.). Proximity to Reading station a plus for getting around to other parks of Uk and to London or Wales for the day. The restaurant was good and reasonable priced as was the bar food and drinks. The staff were warm and welcoming. I would recommend to any wanting to be a part of Royal Ascot. Direct train to Term 2,3, and 4 on new Elizabeth line. We decided on cab £80 as bit easier with bags and got to see direct things along the way. Well done Novotel see you next year.Rooms: Rooms were very clean and housekeeping did a great job each day. Seperate toilet and bathroom and No over tub shower which is a plus for older people. Seperate bath for those that need them. Bed was comfortable TV was large and plenty viewing options for our rest days.
J T: No parking (without prior reservation at an additional fee for a limited number of spaces), unwelcoming and unhelpful staff, dirty / airless room with broken bathroom fittings. I couldn't get onto the WiFi or cast anything worth watching onto the massive but useless TV. Anything positive? There's a bus stop right outside (preventing you from unloading your car) so that's great if you're traveling via that stop I suppose.
Joe Rye: Novotel is set in a great location, middle of the city. All the things you would need, good bathroom - although no sink in separate bathroom and no water except very small cups for the bathroom tap.Staff were pleasant, although made me go downstairs to collect toothbrush kit (other hotels offer to bring to the room normally) - minor point.Double Bed was like sleeping on lumpy cardboard - very uncomfortable
Emily Moyles: Arrived early this morning and asked to drop bag which was no problem at all! I then asked if possible to check in and it was available.Free of charge once you join as a member. Aleksandra at the check in desk was incredibly helpful and friendly to us.Perfect location, 5 minutes from reading train station and 5 minutes from the oracle shopping centre.Leisure centre is open until 10pm daily
Bodrul Miah: I've stayed at this hotel 20+ times for work in the last 6 months:Bad:- No air conditioning in rooms. I would highly recommend you avoid this place particularly in summer. It is unbearable. Winter is okay, spring/autumn it depends on your tolerance.- Wifi is spotty and generally poor. Some rooms have no working wifi.- Toilet and basin are in separate rooms. Really odd.- many of the irons don't work properly, so you have no steam function and could burn your clothes.Good:- location is excellent. 2 mins to city centre and train station- room space is generally good- beds are generally comfortable.Overall, for the price of £130 per night at time of writing, the lack of aircon and poor wifi is unacceptable. These are basics. I now use a competitor hotel for my weekly work travel.
Abhishek Garg: Nice locationRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Iza trini: The air conditioning was very poor, the room was hot. We woke up a couple of times in the night, sweating. The sink was clogged, and the water was very slow draining. Every time we brushed our teeth, it did not drain fast enough, so the gross water was at a stand still and took a long time to go down the drain. We will not stay there a second time.Being an asthma patient, you need proper air conditioning from spring to fall, and of course, if you told the front desk this, there wasn't anything they could do about it.
Toni Young: I would reiterate previous reviews, there were good and bad points but overall, am disappointed to have spent the money and wish we'd stayed at Premier Inn or similar. We chose Novotel because we have found them to have great restaurants and pools - this one does not.Good pointsI can only assume that the pricing structure is based on location. It is very centrally located (this can be a downside if you don't like noise, didn't bother us).View from the room over the city was great. (Some rooms overlook the awful breakfast area though, beware!).Room was nice. (Would have been very pleased with it at approx two thirds the price!!) A broken shower was dealt with by moving us.Bad pointsBreakfast was shambolic, crumbs and food everywhere, everything slightly unclean including cutlery and plates, tables slow to be cleared and food of low standard. Dark, dingy restaurant staffed by people who couldn't care less.Arrived to be told we couldn't use the restaurant as there was a party booked that night, despite it being empty when we left for dinner and also when we came back. After the breakfast experience, was glad not to use it.Swimming pool could be nice if there weren't so many old plasters and bits of rubbish around it, and if staff didn't monopolise it (and the showers).Car parking costs £18 per night, be aware of that when booking.Food & drinks: Poor quality breakfast presented badly. Restaurant needs a deep clean.Noteworthy details: Book for the location, not the hotel.
Radu Andreea: Great experience!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
P J S: Stayed at this hotel as we wanted to get out of london and we’re looking for an affordable option with a swimming pool. The hotel is dated and the rooms could massively benefit from a refurbishment. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and given the swimming pool was shut on Sunday morning for maintenance they granted us a late checkout for us to enjoy the pool in the afternoon. The biggest attributes of the hotel is the wall ability and the swimming pool.
Louise Robinson: Room was spotless, great location but this hotel is sadly let down by the food, the fish and chips were really oily, the breakfast was shocking no bread for toast I had to ask for some and it took them nearly 10 mins to get some, the fruit had run out and not replenished and the English breakfast food was very low too. Very disappointed.
Venkatesh Satrasala: Good Receptionist and concerns will quickly responded.I was in 11 floor Executive Room for 30 days period. Room cleaning and arrange back to Normal by Laura housekeeping staff.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

In fact every staff member we met was polite, friendly and helpful.Rooms: We had a lovely quiet room overlooking the park. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower and bathroom. Robes are also provided.Food & drinks: My dinner was delicious. I thought about kidnapping the chef. Really beautiful meal. Only drawback was that the wine we ordered was not of the vintage displayed on the menu and was not as nice as it might have been had it been a bit older. However we were given a discount when we said we would accept it since it had been opened.

Bharath Varadharajan: Booked in for my wife's birthday, restaurant is class, staff are fantastic. Decor and style is the same. Top tier facilities. Reading is a small town outside London, with most of the same conveniences and pleasures.
Ashley Topham: My husband and I stayed at the Roseate Reading townhouse for a night this past March. We stayed in the Roseate Suite and had an incredible stay. The staff was extremely friendly and nice upon arrival and during our entire stay. The Roseate Suite itself is a beautiful suite with a private living room, a Nespresso machine, a soaking tub, a steam shower, and a fireplace. It was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed. For dinner, we dined at The Reading Room which was a delicious fine dining experience. I chose the Velouté as my starter which had various textures from the curry sponge to the parmesan foam that balanced perfectly with the white onion velouté. As my main course, I chose the black truffle linguini which was incredibly rich and decadent, one of my favorite meals that I've ever had. For dessert, I had the Bavarian which consisted of a raspberry coconut Bavarian, a berry rose sorbet, and an almond sponge. It was the perfect amount of sweet and tart flavors that made an enjoyable ending to our meal. Overall, the Roseate Reading is a beautiful luxury townhouse hotel with an exquisite dining establishment that everyone should experience!
Isa Jo: Our room was located on the top floor in a corner. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet, giving us the perfect restful night before the half marathon. Also the breakfast was delicious. Everyone in the hotel was welcoming and friendly. If I wanted to improve something, it would be the lightning. The overall hotel is a bit dark and even in the room there is no option for proper lighting.

Crowne Plaza Reading East, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Judith Mortimer (Ju): Visited for a classic sparkling afternoon tea as part of a spa day on a Thursday afternoon. The restaurant & bar were very quiet and rather lacking in atmosphere. Two other business customers working on laptops. Plenty of staff on hand at reception and in the restaurant. The staff we met however were friendly and attentive.Took order promptly and served food almost immediately. The tea was only tea bags sadly not loose leaf. The scones and cakes were delicious. Lots of choice. The sandwiches were tasty but a little dry.We were not offered a refill of the tea pots.No one came back to ask if everything was fine which surprised me as there were probably more staff than customers in the area.
Hannah Woods: Very good value, voucher for spa, treatment, dinner and nights stay with breakfast. Really enjoyed a girls break.Food & drinks: Very good 3 course dinner in the Caprice!

Sam McGahan: Parking is free and seemed to be plenty of room. Walked into the hotel/spa and reception is big, bright and clean. Wasn't really given any info on anything at reception. Reception seem nice and polite. The lift you need to put your room key in and out then press the floor you want. (Maybe everyone knows this but I've never seen it before and it took us about 10 mins to figure out. Lol). Room was clean other that the throw on the bed which was disgustingly dusty. Got a bite of my foot also (we left a note for the cleaners). Otherwise there is a kettle (you only get 2 teabags) fridge for drinks, hairdryer and iron. Has shampoo, have to ask for conditioner. Spa there is a nice pool, small gym, sauna and steam room. We had a treatment each but couldn't go in together so one had to wait half hour for the other to finish as only one masseuse. The massage was ok however the huffing and yawning was a put off! Asked if we could drink by the side of the pool but they said we'd have to get dressed and go to the bar as you can't have it brought to you after 5pm. Not even a minute passed. Food was lovely however it was like eating in a fridgeSat with goosebumps. When asked about it, the waiter said loads of people had moaned but there was nothing they could do. Staff seemed nice and polite and the place itself was nice. Breakfast is buffet style and was nice too.

Chocolate strawberries and a bottle of prosecco delivered to the room was a lovely touch. Dinner was a 3 course meal from set menu - good choice, food was nice though meat was overcooked. Breakfast was very good with range of fresh fruit and cooked breakfast. Altogether a lovely staycation. The location is out of the way and nothing nearby. Taxi was hard to get saturday afternoon/ evening though had no trouble on Sunday - comes up as Holiday Inn on the apps.
Titi: Well organised spa day, staff were very helpful, superb customer service. Staff were very friendly. The massage i received was the best I've ever had so far! Valerie Wilkinson: I had a massage with Lucian and it was sensational. My neck and shoulders are extremely relaxed Highly recommend him.Food & drinks: Great afternoon tea.
Rebecca Costa: For customer service, if I could, I would rate 0Upon check-in after signing the documents, I was advised casually there is no hot water and gas, and any facilities would be cold and was not aware of ETA for repairs. After being told about the lack of gas and hot water, we asked for some compensation or at least a discount on our room rate. The whole reason we booked this was for spa treatments, which were cancelled a day before arrival, not even 24 hours. (If i cancelled, it would have been non refundable/ non exhangeable) However, the receptionist seemed indifferent to our concerns and simply shrugged it off, saying that it was beyond their control We were shocked by the lack of empathy and professionalism shown by the staff.I expressed my disappointment and frustration to the hotel staff explaining that I had planned this celebration for weeks and had specifically chosen this package because it included the spa treatments my partner had been looking forward to. However, the staff simply repeated the same offer of a room upgrade and afternoon tea, which did not come close to a fair compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment caused.I requested that the general manager come out to speak with me but was informed that he was not available. I also asked if there was any way the spa treatments could be rescheduled or replaced with a similar service but was told that this was not possible. As a customer, I felt let down and undervalued by the way my concerns were handled. While I appreciate that emergencies do happen, I believe that the hotel could have done more to ensure that their customers were not left out of pocket and disappointed by the situation. We felt completely let down and disappointed. I had planned this trip for 4 weeks and had specifically chosen this hotel for its location and high ratings. However, our experience was far from satisfactory. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise others to look for better options in the area.I must express my dissatisfaction with the service provided. I encountered several issues  resulting in a great deal of frustration and inconvenience. Improvements need to be made in order to create a more efficient and satisfying customer experience.Food was good however my steak was returned 4 times before they got it right.I would not recommend this hotel. The tea and upgrade was not justifiable for the lack of water, gas facilities and cancellation of the room
Olajumoke Olaoye: Fantastic two nights away.Would like to say a big THANK YOU to Kylie on Main Reception and her fellow team members. Also, a big THANK YOU to Marco and Cammy in the Breakfast Team in the restaurant who help to run it so smoothly and in a very professional and courteous manner. They greet you always with a smile. Much appreciated. The breakfast buffet is top notch. Credit to the Chef and his team. Thank you so much.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable. I sleep very well..comfy bed. Pillows were better this timeSafety: I feel very safe and the area surrounding CP Reading East is very nice.Food & drinks: Great selection when you look at the options of both Montys Bar and Caprice Restaurant
sue sullivan: Awesome hotel. Clean, beautifully decorated and presented. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.Rooms: Beautiful rooms. Very clean . Had mini bar and a safe. Lovely big TV. Free WiFi
Abhishek: Rude female staff at within the reservations team. I had called to make a booking reservation using BuyaGift and given that I was unsure about something I asked to confirm the details and got a very rude response in return. When I did tell her that I didn't see the need for the rudeness, she kept silent, didn't apologise and carried on as though nothing had happened. Would encourage the manger to review the recorded call so that this particular staff member can be trained better.

Stephen Price: Attended a friend's wedding that was held in the function tent. Very nicely presented with great staff.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Martin Peters-Turner: Very friendly staff, lovely room in the main houseI'm going to keep this shortWe were advised that our florist would be able to access the venue from 8am, when they got there there was no one to let them in to start decorating, the venues OWN DJ had also arrived for 8am but with no one to let him in he (the venues own DJ) made a decision to lift a farm style gate off the hinge to allow access to the marquee. When a member of staff finally arrived they shouted at our florist. We were guaranteed the bedrooms for the night before included in the price but days before the wedding the asked how we were going to pay, the wedding planner who had agreed it in the price had left so they would not honour it resulting in have go tell our family members that they would need to find accommodation last minute. We were married on the 30th July, be aware that the marquee gets very very hot even with all the doors open, and the 2 air conditioning units do not really have an effect.Near the end of the evening we were asked if we wanted the remaining cake to be stored for us to take with us in the morning, but come the morning it turns out that the just left it on a counter in the marquee kitchen with no covering resulting in over half of our cake being stale and wasted. As part of our package we paid for the cooked breakfast in the morning for us and family but in the morning there was no chef to cook so we were left with just continental breakfast.

B M: My partner and I were going to book our wedding here as the location is lovely. However, we decided against it as the lady organising rushed us through the building and was completely uninterested and unhelpful. Emails had to be chased up and were not read correctly. It was as if responses were copy and pasted, generic. Ended up finding cheaper elsewhere and brought the date closer to this fall so perhaps it a happened for a reason!
Dhruvik Patel: It was really gem of a place as the management and their rooms looks soo fancy✨
Yummy Tummy: Had an amazing night with the team, such a night to remember!
Billie Welborn: Great Christmas party night, busy but fantastic fun had by all.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Tom Lewis: Great Christmas Market
James B: A very beautiful building and setting for weddings or work functions. Large outdoor garden marquee for the evening with bar, dance floor and lights. The inside is nicely kept, clean and fresh décor with friendly members of staff. We liked it so much that we have booked our wedding at this venue and look forward to it for all the above reasons and more.
Laura Kerr: Corporate family day. Rented a marque with bouncy castles, fair stalls and bbq for 100 people. Service was great, food was really good. Dietary requirements catered for. Very child friendly.Service: 5/5 …More
Keith “wideload42” Perry: Had a business party there. Was absolutely brilliant. All the staff were polite, friendly and professional. The house itself was smaller than expected. This does not take away from the experience though, as there is a huge marquee in the back and plenty of space in the garden area too.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

The Great House at Sonning: what do users think?
Ray Hillman: So good I'm going back again soon and even got the name of who they bought their pillows from and purchased 2 for home!!Room size was generous and loved the decor, modern but still fitting the theme of this historical building. There were little thoughtful touches like fresh milk in the fridge and a cooling fan on in the room. The shower was phenomenal with gorgeous products. All in all, I felt valued, pampered and suitably relaxed.
Duncan Goddard: Great location but service wasn't great, which was such a shame as it could be so much better.Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bex: WOW, what an incredible place to stay. Location is incredible, staff are lovely and the rooms are soooo luxurious. First time I’ve stayed here but really looking forward to coming back in a couple of week ❤️ highly recommend
Tudor: Great food and locationService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Sohaib Abdel-Halim: Booked there for a birthday meal with the family.. beautiful location and setup. We booked an igloo which was beautiful and had a lovely view out to the river. Food was amazing, service was excellent. All in all a very good place and experience. Recommended.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Deepak Ravindran: Absolutely lovely location. Just gone for lunch so never stayed there. We had glorious weather which made the Riverside location really great with excellent serviceService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Henri De Bruine: Had a dinner at the restaurant and the summary is: the Food was Ok, the service was poor. You can get that from cheaper spots at the half the cost. Sat for 20 minutes with no servers arriving to take orders, which the person who showed us the table said was on their way. Then they missed items we ordered.Would not recommend this spot to a friend.
Denise Tween: Lovely food, but very small lunches and expensiveService: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Sharmaine Pritchard: The family room was fantastic.
Layne Shutt: Worth a visit,Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kevbin: Really strange venue. Great location with good food but the service was either very good or shockingly bad. We sat just outside the restaurant on the patio for 30 mins and no one came to the table. The couple opposite just left. The breakfast service was good. So it seems its just down to luck.Reply - we went to the host desk and were seated by the staff so not sure that it is really an explanation?
Chris Byron: £271 for two nights stay. Rooms were clean and shower was really good however have experienced many hotels with the same facilities with much cheaper rates. Very overpriced for what you get. No breakfast included but the Coppa Club does serve excellent food and do have a very good breakfast. The garden has good views of the river and lots of outdoor seating which makes a nice relaxing environment. Would stay again but only if could get fir a cheaper rate.
Martin Peters-Turner: Coppa Club SonningCoppa Club Sonning is a beautiful riverside restaurant located in the quaint village of Sonning, Berkshire. The restaurant has a relaxed and informal atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The menu features a variety of dishes, including classic British fare, as well as more modern options. The food is always fresh and beautifully presented, and the service is friendly and attentive.I recently had the pleasure of Stopping of for some drinks in the garden, my only real complaints are how long it's at the staff to clear any tables. We were there for at least 2 hours and at least three of the tables had the same empty drinks on for the whole 2 hours. The service at Coppa Club Sonning was friendly. With most of the staff seem to be in the young 20sOverall, we had a wonderful experience at Coppa Club Sonning. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing in the sun. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great relaxing in Sonning. Here are some of the things that I liked about Coppa Club Sonning:The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and informal. The venue is located in a beautiful setting on the River Thames. Here are some of the things that I didn't like about Coppa Club Sonning:Takes them a long time to clear tables. The prices are a bit on the high side. The restaurant can get quite busy, especially on weekends.Overall, I would highly recommend Coppa Club Sonning to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Sonning.
Simon Lewendon: Deluxe room comfortable , clean and exactly what I had hoped for , dinner at the restaurant pretty good , 2 of the dishes came out without the accompanying sauces . Mains were very nice , good quality and cooked to perfection. The buttermilk chicken starter was so dry and so chewy I wouldn't recommend and the doughnut balls ,wow , we left them ,the texture was so dense, more like golf balls dipped in sugar . Guessing service staff are new , confussed and unorganised . Main courses arrive before starters are cleared away and not much knowledge about whats good on the menu .Plus side lovely surroundings and atmosphere and I'm sure that on less busy nights it would rate much higher
Patricia Murtagh: Amazing 👏Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
