Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, St Mary's Portsmouth: what do users think?
David Ormerod: Very impressed with the prompt and professional care I received.
Judith Drury: Thank you from the receptionist to triarge nurse to senior nurse to radiology nurse to the paramedic in the minor injuries clinic, who sorted out my broken wrist on Friday 20th January around lunch time. Your kindness, professionalism, thoughtfulness and speed will never be forgotten. Beware of black ice. Many many thanks. Judy
Dave Clark: Had an op there last week very slick and friendly staff.
Claire Birks: Had an endoscopy here and as an anxious patient I was very much put at ease. The receptionists were friendly, the whole process was super efficient and quick. I was in and out in just over an hour! The nurses and doctors were very knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me relax during the procedure. Would recommend!
John-Roy Singleton: Mixes me with NHS patients. An NHS DR got killed and he was helping me and I got made out to be abusive due to the NHS system. The government need to be questioned by the House of Lords. Other than that when it is just private patients I feel so at peace and I am happy to wait, NHS makes me so angry. 😊
Jane Morgan: The Endoscopy staff were fantastic put me at ease straight away. Dr Patel was so nice and what I thought was going to be a horrible experience wasn't. Looked after all way through.
Mitch C: I originally had an endoscopy done here a couple of years ago but couldn’t finish the procedure. This time, I got an appointment within 5 days of them calling me, and knowing I was extremely anxious and bordering on having a panic attack, the nurses and doctor were absolutely brilliant at putting my mind at ease, explaining everything in a simple yet concise manner, explaining everything they did beforehand, the quality of care here was absolutely brilliant! Once I’d woken up a bit from the sedation the lady looking after me was so very kind, she didn’t rush me at all and she made sure I was safe to leave with my boyfriend taking me home. She held my hand at one point when I was struggling, I don’t remember the procedure too well due to sedation but I remember the warmth and empathy she showed towards me. Thank you so much for all you do.
Graham Biggerstaff: First class service from all involved , massive thank you to Debbie for persevering and keeping in contact with me regarding my appointment times & dates , also huge thanks to Dr Sami Sadek who performed my operation , I found him to be very calming which put me at my ease , thank you to the nurses Bee & Guy who looked after me .All in all thank you everyone.
Helen: I have used Portsmouth Diagnostics Imaging Department (St-Mary’s hospital) a few times. Always found the reception team and a doctor to be professional, helpful, polite and just great, they put you at your ease, and they explain everything that is going on on the screen. Highly recommend
Sergiu Spian: I had a severe back pain for 5 days. My GP gave me some painkillers, but had no effect on my pain. The last night before i went to Saint M. hospital my temperature was 39. I was feeling really bad, exhausted. At the hospital the nurse told me that we have to do an urine test. After that a “doctor” his name is Hassan Twins !!!! Offered a consultation and just from the beginning he was absolutely a very negative person. Arguing with me. I asked him to just give some help. And his answer was : A help ???? What you mean by word help ???I said that pls do not argue with me, just pls help, I really need some help. He said he will never do a urine test, but ok, i’ll do this time for you. He lifted his sorry a..s and did it. About the blood test he said they don’t do in the Saint Marys. He told me to go to QA Hospital, but he assured me that they will send me back home as well.He asked me what medicine i had and I explained that i stoped taking them because i had bad side effects ( nose bleeding, high blood pressure, headache, vomiting ) He said that’s normal !!! In the papers that he gave me for QA, he lied about some things. No respect for human life, No sympathy for human being . Very negative and unpleasant, unprofessional person. At the QA Hospital the staff are amazing. They gave me painkillers that helped me immediately. And the actual attitude its completely different. I think S.M. Hospital have to take actions about this “doctor” and investigate the case. And probably i’m not the only one that suffered because of this person.
faisal iqbal: My 3 year old son have fever and infection we wait to be checked more than 5 hours no one help my child is burning and haven’t eat anything very rude management donot like to inform and very bad management problem is G.P donot give appointments trying since last week end took same time have no option very worried and frustrated
Andrius Antanelis: Horrible waiting time been in pain for a while and been waiting for over two hours, and somehow there keep taking new peoples who just walk in. So unfair. Rude nurses and all staff members just terrible.
Martin Boyden: This is a minor injury unit that deals with minor injuries like pain and cuts it doesn't deal with chest pains, major internal problems and broken arms and legs, if it's serious injury go to Cosham Queen Alexandra Hospital PO6 3LY it's open 24-7
Sarah Baker: Had gastroscopy and colonscopy today. Dr Patel was excellent -keen to understand what had been going in with me. Then clearly explained treatment plan and options. The nursing staff are very caring..it is the hand holding and compassionate hand on the shoulder that make an unpleasant experience tolerable. This was my second gastroscopy and at both visits all staff have been warm, caring and efficient.
Richard Lewis: A big thank you to Mr Sadek and His team for the outstanding way they looked after Me during My hernia surgery.Everyone was so friendly and polite and looked after Me so well.Thank You all of You
DEBORAHBOX Box: Took my mother there today as she got knocked down by a taxi and is in pain with her back . As always absolutely useless all they did was take her blood pressure dud not even give her an examination. My mum is 79 years old and still in pain but what do the Doctors care its not their mother in pain . Going to report them to the medical council fir lack of care .
theh0vis: There is nothing like a sympathetic, caring and concerned nursing professional to consult when you are in chronic pain.Unfortunately the triage nurse at this practice is nothing like a sympathetic, caring and concerned professional.Instead her main focus (it would appear) is to deter those seeking treatment irrespective of condition.
ray evans: Would just like to thank all the nurses in the Colonoscopy department very friendly and doing an awesome job many thanks Ray Evans.
SYMMS JULIAN: Brilliant service, excellent care, wonderful staff and terrific outcome.
john major: c
Sean Durrant: I like the fact you can come here when you want and get seen for a variety of issues. Reception staff always come across as friendly and professional. Doctors and Nurses always helpful and supportive in my experience

North Harbour Medical Group: what do users think?
Simon Bowen: 136 calls and counting trying to get an appointment today - used to be easy now I'm more likely to win the lottery
Barrie Bradshaw: due to a blood test phobia ,i have had my HEART tablets refused and my repeat medicine s, THIS practise know i wont have a blood test, were is my RIGHTS as a person and HUMAN being
John-Roy Singleton: Line busy when I call (short of receptionist)Friendly doctor, playful with the imagination. Easy to use chairs.Scales and blood pressure machine available to use.I think that the doctor surgery is relocating to another place hence why there's no effort. Give it time and can turn the NHS funded health care around. We need to work with the professionalism.Private patients only
Jemma Powell: So so sooo impressed! Called and managed to speak to someone and book him in on the day. Was loosing faith in vets for a while after a bad experience, the receptionist was lovely and welcoming. My dog was comfortable and happy in the waiting area and the vet made him welcome while she checked his ears for a possible infection. He is having tests to insure it is an infection, which I am really happy about as antibiotics seems to given out for any little sign. Really lovely vet practice! Thank you, happy photo of my boy in the reception area!
Cristian Dobre: The program starts at 8:00 am . At 8:15 am all the emergency slots were taken . How many slots are available? 1 or 2 ? And I was calling for my sick child :(The GP should help and take care of their patients not to send them to the walk in centres which are already crowded.
Sue Haynes: Shambles no wonder A& E are so busy. Whish I could go to my Vet.PDSA much more effective and efficient.
CDW: Good luck even getting through to their reception. For reasons beyond me, they don't have a hold system for their phone lines. If they're busy then you can't even get through to wait, you just have to keep calling.Incredibly unfriendly and rude reception staff, and doctors who use Google to diagnose you.
RighteousBrother: I've been very lucky to have always been a ke to get consultations without any problems. Lose points for receptionist though, who really ought to brush up on their interpersonal skills.
CHARLS LEO ANTONY: This surgery is killing patients with their lack of GP appointments, terrible receptionists, and admin. After explaining everything about our sickness, the receptionists will decide our sickness is not critical and tell us that no appointments are available. finally got one telephonic appointment and the Dr. Prithipal chabda was not at all ready to listen and he was very rude, telling that other patients are waiting and disconnected the call in an unprofessional way. NO WONDER WHY PATIENTS ARE NOT GOING TO GP AND INSTEAD GOING STRAIGHT TO A & E.
James Green: Absolutely superb service by GPs, secretary's and phoneline can be a bit busy, but its worth it.
Megan anscomb: If I could rate 0 I would went for being suicidal a few years ago and self harm the visit to Dr made it worse instead of helping went for incurable conditiontold have fibre gel and I will be cured in a month I have a bad reaction to fibre and Dr didn't want to listen horrible sexist Dr (chowdry) I know many who have said the same about this doctor cant make appointments rude staff especially the receptionist wish I never changed to this doctor surgery also had phones hang up on me when I finally get through
Nicola Tomlinson: This is the worst doctors I have ever used and this is all based on one particular receptionist, she is the least helpful and most rude person I have ever spoken to.. I rarely go to the surgery and even if I was really ill I would hold off as long as I could just so I wouldn’t have to speak to that women! This view is expressed by every single person I speak to! How she still has a job after all this years is beyond me! It’s gone massively down hill since Dr Galloway left..
Darron Sidaway: A very poor service. Not able to speak to my doctor or,an other when needed . Have been a patient since first opened poor quality of service very unhappy . Will not using this practice again for anything.
Stella Enfield: Phone lines were engaged for ages and then got through and had to wait through a very long intro message. Finally got through to a person who was unfriendly and made me feel like I was putting her out. I was told my son's number was different from their records and scolded about it so after being put on hold a couple of times while she worked out arranging a doctor to call my son, I said best check my daughter's number. She put me on hold yet again with the phone being put down so hard other people in the room heard it. I was on hold for quite a while, I thought she had gone. Finally back on the call, she took the number and said good bye quite abruptly. So glad I left this doctor as their attitude and competence is why I moved to Cosham Park House (and was quickly diagnosed correctly at last).
alasnm “The Asian Connoisseur”: Practically impossible to get an appointment. I have called over 100 times and every time I do get through it sends me to an automated message that tells me do some random rubbish. No words will describe how infuriating this experience is.Not to mention most of the staff there are unpassionate and rude. The doctors there are fine but the reception is horrible! I once had tonsillitis and it was so bad to the point I couldn't even open my mouth otherwise it would hurt! Yet the receptionist being a smart a*se decides to tell me to speak up in a pi**y attitude as if I committed a crime!I think its time for a reform and replace every single receptionist past the age 40 in there because it seems those people are the most unhappy and rude staff there!
sean collins: I have had the best experience from here and am very grateful to the sectary who exceeded her duties and went above and beyond to help me. you should be very proud of her and hope she leads to set a good example on the reception staff.
Lynn Bryant: With exception yo the wonderful practice manager and the nurses, I am actually appalled at the drs response now . The reception staff would not give an emergency app to my severely asthmatic daughter when was struggling to breathe and now the dr has made my adult daughter who is a teacher cry . You should actually be ashamed .
l3b souf: Reception are rude and bitter
Margaret Hurst: Since joining the practice I have never had any problem getting an appointment with the doctor of my choice, even being offered one on the spot when I have enquired. I have no complaints at all, staff very friendly and helpful
Liz Valette: I've been a patient at this practice for many years and I can't fault it. Approaching the receptionists with a smile and being courteous brings rewards. They all do their best and my GP, Dr N, is lovely.
Tracey Mycroft: Very helpful and always get appointments

The Drayton Surgery: what do users think?
Matthew Crowther: My experience was with Occupational Health. So likely my only visit here. The receptionist was friendly and the doctor the first in years to take time to work through things, listen and help.
Ashley Meredith: Moved over from Cosham health centre and it’s a breath of fresh air coming here, the staff are great and it is so easy to get an appointment! Alison Gunn is the lovely lady who treated me, she is fantastic I can’t express how professional and caring she is
Julie Burge: I came over from Australia to look after Dad when he came out of hospital 24/5 from a stroke,he had 2 mini ones previously. The hospital changed his blood thinners. He went to collect his script from the pharmacy next door and they had not had approval from the GP for the blood thinners! He would have run out on Wednesday. This is after Dad wrote them a letter about the change of meds. Fortunately or unfortunately after a stand off at the chemist and Dad was able to show them the label of the new medication , he got a box. Surely in this day and age the health system has to be all on the same page. Without the thinners he would probably have another stroke and might not be so fortunate. It took over 30mins to speak to reception. You cannot book over the phone to see a GP, it has to be phone first. This all happened after he spoke to the GP. I realise everyone is stretched, but this is not good enough!
Bianca Box-Cameron: My experience so far has been amazing with this practice, so glad I moved here
Sophie Negre: I had a check up with Nurse Sally recently. She was ever so nice and really took the time to do a thorough check-up and explanations. Thank you very much indeed!
Dan Stokes: Changed to this surgery as our old one was worse than useless. Both my wife and daughter have been seen here now with same day appointments with medical issues resolved straight away.
Jeannette Small: After moving to Drayton surgery recently from another surgery in the area they have been amazing. I can not fault the care myself and my family have had so far. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the access to care has been fantastic.
jean hanson: Telephoned at 8 am, in a queue for 20 minutes and a lovely lady Doctor phoned me back within an hour. She did not rush me but listened sympathetically and arranged blood tests etc. Thank you for your kind attention
DeynaRose: Edit 2023 : very responsive and better than most GP surgery in response times! I think they are always working to improve themselves for patients! Glad this is my GP sugery.2019 :I was on queue for 30mins(phonecall) when my call was answered before I could catch my breath, my phonecall was disconnected on purpose!!! and this happened twice!!! I can’t imagine how it is for elderly people trying to get through as well. NEVER had a pleasant experience with the admin team of my GP which is quite sad. Little note: I work for the NHS as well and this is just NO WAY to treat people 😞
Richard Coote: My family have always had excellent service from the lovely team at the Drayton Surgery. Polite, helpful and timely.
Dana Phillips: Nice place people were nice , did not feel like a number like you do at some of these places
Lynne “Susloo” Edin: I love this surgery from receptionists to nurses and Doctors. Thank you all, I feel safe in your hands. First time ever! xx
Ian Worthington: I have been with the practice for 5yrs and the staff are excellent but the new triage system leaves much to be desired. I phone up with a chest complaint and the doctor asked me what I wanted them to do! I explained my symptoms and it was suggested that I went for a lung function test but the doctor said he did not see much value in this so prescribed some low dose antibiotics. I was shocked as I expected the doctor to at least listen to my chest. I went to Norfolk 3 days later and was so Ill I went to the Norwich walk in clinic. They were horrified as my left lung is full and my right lung is not good. The clinician would have liked an x-Ray but they don’t have the facility. I was given the strongest antibiotics and steroids with instructions to see my GP as soon as I return home and get an x-Ray, which I will do.
Rosie Virgo: Our family have been with this surgery for 10 years now, and have always been pleased with the care and professionalism of the staff. I've never had an issue getting to speak to, or be seen by staff, and they have always taken us seriously when we or one of the children have been poorly.
Holly: Dianne broad left me feeling belittled and upset as she spoke to me in a rude manner. I felt as though I was rushed out, belittled and not cared for at all.
Rachel Kirton: I have only been registered here since moving to the area in November. I did an econsult and was called by Dr Burton within the 2 day time frame, she was very helpful and informative and booked me an appointment for today. I arrived for my appointment with Dr Foakes who was friendly, helpful and understanding. This was such a smooth and stressless experience, my last surgery was almost impossible to speak with a GP, never mind actually seeing one face to face. Thoroughly impressed with my experience, thank you to all.
Rachel Conway: Hello, I did an e consult as advised on the call into the surgery, (as a long queue. I was No. 14) so I duly completed the on line questions and received an email saying a doctor would call me at the latest within two days time. I never received the call, email or advisory text. Secondly I've had a text to book a routine blood test, but feel what's the point. Struggle to get through on the telephone. We're told to not feel we can't contact our GP's with our health, but my experience what's the point!!
teebee: Awful, 1 hour on hold just to talk to someone, no appointments available and told to try again next week, awful, doesn't even deserve 1 star, if you are looking to join a surgery go elsewhere
Alex Bean Murphy: Had to speak to 2 different receptionists today. The first lady was absolutely lovely. Really pleasent to speak to and very understanding of my issue. I had to call back as the econsult was closed for the Bank Holiday so I wanted to just let the surgery know and see if there was an alternative route for my treatment. The second woman, however, not as friendly as the first. Rude and frosty when I was talking to her and as I am more recently needing to contact the doctors a bit more often due to my health she was really rude to me when she found out who I was, saying "okay and what's wrong with you today" in a really rude and condescending manner. I calmly explained my issue and she responded with "that's not something we'll deal with today" in a quite snarky way. I understand that with it being the bank holiday they'll be a little stretched but to be outright rude is completely unnecessary. I really hope you begin training them on proper people skills.
Annette Prosser: I have had need of medical advice and treatment over the last couple of weeks. How lucky we are to have such a great surgery, from the ladies in reception to the nurses, doctors and physios, all so helpful polite and friendly. Thank you.
Kristina qureshi: Been at this doctors 3 years now and I can't fault them at all so much better then cosham health centre. The staff are friendly and polite and they even see you face to face unlike many other doctors

The Surgery: what do users think?
Carol Adams: Easy disabled access onsite. Friendly personally around. Smiles abound
Joan Hodson: Went for an eye check. In and out in 25 minutes. No queue no waiting.
Pip Lavery: Attended Retinopathy 11/11/21. This was my first visit here. Very professional, receptionist a special mention as she was very welcoming & put me at ease.
Lauren Geer: I am so so grateful to all at lake road. From reception staff my GP and every single one who gave me the support to get my operation date and to be seen . I have had scar tissue surgery and I am now recovering at home with only the healing process pain.Once again I can not put thank you into words 😇😇😇
Rodrigo Stuardo: Terrible service by the staff. Tried to book an appointment with them for months and have never been able to get through when calling. We patiently waited for things to get slightly better before deciding to go in person, however once we went there we were met by a very rude and apathetic lady who spoke over whenever we tried to explain the situation so she could get rid of us quickly. We tried to follow the rules during these strange time but it seems like the staff just don’t want anyone to get an appointment with them. Very disappointed with the service and would not recommend joining the surgery.
Josh Harris: Awful service. Very rude staff. Can never book an appointment since merging with Lake Road. Every time I call the phone is always engaged or never answered. I have tried calling over a period of 3 months now. Went to book an appointment in person and was turned away by a very rude woman who wouldn't listen to me. Sort your service out.
Anne-Marie Asgari: Excellent staff and Doctors.
Design Foryou: Absolutely discusting doctors the Receptionist are young and dumb , can’t get appointment for 3+ weeks even for emergency won’t fit you in ! . Would not recommend to anyone . Your better off not coming here as the staff google what’s up with you
Marlene Heyraud: Usually takes 2 weeks + to be seen and that is not ok.
Gill Benson: Excellent GP and staff service. Appointments usually quick and easy to get. Doctors very approachable, listen to you and not rushed.NO idea why anyone would leave a negative review.
Kerry light: The docs and nurses are lovely. Receptionist are rude and no clue what they are doing. Opening times are incorrect on the website
Syed Hasan: Waited on the phone 25 minute to answer the phone call, saying they very busy, came to reception and I made phone call to see if they really busy or not, they just lift my phone up and put me on hold. Looks like they do that perpspaly. There was no one in the waiting area, and two Recpeptilnest were there, chatting. Well done gus, the good liar.
Matt Matt: Have been a patient here for over 10 years. Reccomend so highly that I recently brought my wife and son over too which they accommodated. Other surgeries seem to struggle with demand but I always feel like here I am valued and appointments are made much quicker. Professional staff working in a high pressure environment. Have seen a few doctors change but my level of care has remained consistent.
Richard Baker: Failed to process my repeat prescription . Left me with no BP tablets. After 72 hours was told request was still not processed.Very incompetent.
edward lymn: I've found the staff to be polite and efficient.
Betsy Warren: Disgusting
Gemma Leigh: Rediciulous waiting time, always late with appointments. Staff are noisier than patients and take no consideration for people who suffer with mental health issues.

Nicholstown Surgery: what do users think?
Allison: I've been with this surgery for about a year now and it's just horribly inconsistent. Previously gave 2-stars but changing to 1. The patient experience is awful, the level of care is subpar, things that you are told will happen don't happen, you try to follow up and you are ignored, they ping pong you around to their different sites (which stopped after my first review), and careless mistakes that made it difficult to fill prescriptions.
Joanna C: Update after today's interaction 14.06.2023:Please enable 0 star review. It's so much needed for this GP branch. The people working there must be punished somehow elsewhere. Their attitude is just appalling. Puts you off to go to the doctor's. I have gone through many GPs in the last 15 years as I was constantly changing location. This is officially the worst GP in UK. I don't think there is worse than that.I will try to get a spot somewhere else. I don't want to talk with those people anymore.Unhelpful incompetent admin. They tell you they call you but never do. Probably forgot. When I called she was making excuses. If I didn't call noone would get in touch.Disgraceful service. If you sick you will get sicker from only having to talk to them. I don't know the doctors as have not had a chance to see one when I was ill.I would leave no starts at all but it doesn't allow to post this review.I will place formal complain further.
joanna zdenkowska: It's a tragedy to get through, I waited over an hour. the doctors had already led me to inflammation once according to them I still had the virus until I had to call an ambulance and it turned out that I had pneumonia. they underestimate coughing attacks, despite the fact that it quickly turns into pneumonia for me. they will tell you that such a cough is nothing.
Jauhar Sumra: 1 star is being polite.
Naz Singh: I have always found the reception to be very helpful and kind. The team are always available to listen and offer advice and guidance, so please give them a chance.
Brian Burnell: Awful, rude, unpleasant, condescending, arrogant and patronising with no respect for their patients, especially the elderly. Avoid them. Their only interest is in the money they get from the public purse, while not delivering the service they are paid for. If any High St business did that the directors would be jailed for fraud.
Andrei N. Sargu: 1 star is way to much for their service which is horendous. The reception staff are always rude and cold to you after picking up with about 2 hours delay. You have to tell them that you or your kid, are dieing in pains so you can get an appointment with a medic. If you need a repeat prescription they always decline it on the reason that you have to come for heartbeats measurments...and they book you in after 2 weeks - 1month for that. So if you care for your health and your loved ones and/or if you depend on a treatment prescription, that normaly they MUST help you with, you rather change this pseudoGP location with a better and more receptive one as I am going to do ASAP.
Abdo Ali: جيد
Malcolm Reynolds: They ghosted their patients during lockdown, and un-prescribed an important medication for purely financial reasons (the doctor insisted it was over-the-counter despite it not being over-the-counter)
Martin Hayward: Rang up as a chronic asthmatic with a chest infection, receptionist told me to go to minor injuries walk in clinic or ring 111. Just speechless at this point and breathless, literally. There should be repercussions for such a lack of patient care.
Jan Judasz: worst GP in southampton. At 8 am I was to sign my son to the clinic for consultation with a doctor. The lady at the window told me that the doctor would call around 9 o'clock. I note that for 24 hours my son has a fever of 39.5. he is only 11 months old, I marked it next to the window. Nobody called. I was there around 3 pm asking what about my visit because my son is crying all the time, coughing and has a fever. The lady said she told me the doctor would call after 9. and I answered her well but it's already 3pm. no one called my baby is now in the hospital the ambulance has come to pick him up. I warn you, if you want to risk the health of your loved ones, this is the best place for it. what we spend our taxes on. where is the Hippocratic Oath. this place is one big circus
Jenny Cook: They don’t answer the phone.
Christopher Squibb: I am sat at the surgery waiting for my appointment when a PTS driver brought someone in with blood dripping from a hand wound and she took the person to where he was supposed to be but left the blood on the floor and didn’t come back to clean it up I told the receipt that the blood was still on the floor and both the people behind the counter came out and cleaned it up I would like to say thank you to both of them I have read some of the reviews and to say that I am really upset with what has been said about this practice I have been with this practice for about six years and never had any problems with them from the reception doctors and nurses are absolutely fantastic to talk to and really polite to talk to nobody has asked me to say anything but I really would recommend this practice to anyone
Мари Леон: I don’t have any problems with hospital, but worker in the reception incompetent . I had appointment with my doctor today 12.09.2022 at 12:50 and came 10 minutes earlier to the reception to inform that I’m here , but lady on the reception told me that I have to go home because my appointment will be via call , not face to face, so I went..and guess what , after 20min I got sms that I missed my appointment! Incompetent worker in the reception just waisted my time and my doctor time .
Srfn S: Had a infant vaccination, very poorly handled . Highly disappointed
Darren Wood: this is the worst surgery i have ever had. on hold for ever sometimes never getting though. i was once told by the asthma nurse who still works there that i was over worrying about my tight chest and to go home... i stopped breathing two hours after leaving there. i had numoneia and was rushed to a and e. when i conplained, bearing in mind my wife died though breathing related issues i was told catchphases such as "lets put our best feet forward together and other stupid things. id rather have an appointment with Harold Shippman and write him in my will for the effort.NOW THE WORLD IS CHANGING. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
Ian Sharp: If I could give this Surgery minus stars I most certainly would ! The Surgery is a disgrace. The admin staff and GP's are rude, unhelpful and incompetent. If you question anything you feel is incorrect or unfair in an assertive manner, they accuse you of being aggressive and rude, then write what they want in your medical history notes, black flag you, so then when you visit other NHS services, especially A&E, the nurses treat you differently to all the other patients, they are very curt and are certainly not in a hurry to get you sorted out. They are always messing up repeat prescriptions in a number of different ways, eg: Missing out/not prescribing everything on the repeat slip, not sending the repeat prescription to the chemist and insisting they have done mit, so it's the chemists fault. You get to the chemist and they say they haven't received it and send you back to the surgery, then they send you back to chemist. This went on all afternoon, knowing that I have mobility issues and acute pain. In the end I had to phone 111 and get them to sort it. I could go on all day about how terrible this surgery is, luckily I am not a patient there anymore. If you are currently a patient there, I feel sorry for you.
Juhi Tiwari (JT): They always need a nudge to get our work done
Juggy Digwa: Terrible service. Whenever you call for an appointment we are always told to call back as they cannot see availability. A bit strange when it happens every time we call.
andre zppl: If you don't want to be seen by a doctor ever, call those fellas
Patrycja Mercik: NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE, NEVER, IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT

Kingston Crescent Surgery: what do users think?
Sunshine V04: Wrost experience. They don't want to even hear you but the reply is like automated tape saying "we can't help you today, appointments are full". Horrible experience ever.
goeXplore: Please don’t register here.. you will be in trouble..
its JDW: Very efficient. Clean and tidy.. staff friendly and helpful.
James Sankey: Impossible to get through and when you do you're cut off. Must be the worst service in the land.
Rhona Douglas: How do you get a sick note if you can't get on to e concil
Shir Mae: Not the best surgery
MRI: Who to blame who to blame.... lack of staff, no appointments, underqualified reception staff, this all goes back to our government... I have seen a lot of bad reviews here for the surgery but you cannot blame the people who are trying their utmost best on a day to day basis to support the community with what they have.... In the beginning it was all about the 'foreigners' flooding our nhs system, then we had brexit, with promises of better services. So what happened to our nhs services, weren't they supposed to get better after brexit? Oh hold on, but then we had covid for two years.... and now its the war in Ukraine... Blame the foreigners for taking out jobs and using up all our nhs resources, blame brexit, and then covid... This country has no money because our government is sending billions to 'help' fight a war that we have no part in. Money that could be used to help 'our' failing nhs service. So before you leave a negative feedback, look back at how we got in this mess in the first place. Unfortunately this is what the government wants, those who can afford private treatment are ok, unfortunately those who cant are at loss. If you want to blame someone blame the government not the surgery staff
Dave Tanner: Absolute joke ,
Ian White: Like all surgery's
Acrylic Custom Pour Home of art: I can only imagine that there must be 'thee' most critical shortage of Doctors, since the NHS began? Either that or they've mass-produced Harry Potters disappearing cloak! St.Mary's walk in is pretty much a waste of resource, they don't do anything other than refer you to QA or to your Doctor 'who your never going to see which is why you went there in the first place. We need a Plan B, like now, before the NHS collapses
Jason T: When they moved to Kingston Crescent went to make an appt they said i didn't answer a letter(i never received),so i wasn't with them.Comes from a GP surgery at old address that looked and me and said i wasn't asthmatic and stopped my inhalers(ignoring readings on notes from last surgery!).From people i know only way u will see a Gp is if vaccines time, then they all come in and not just sat at home-reason,cos they are paid for vaccines on top of overiunflated wages!
demmy jedo: The worst surgery ever in the whole of UK, they spent time calling police than attending to patients. Always hang up phone on you. Worst healthcare staff.
Michaela Cavaney: They don't pick up the phone.
Megan Shawyer: Spoken too like rubbish by the doctor, not a way you would talk to someone regarding her symptoms. Patronising and rude. Hard enough not being able to speak to a doctor face to face, let alone speaking to someone who has no compassion as all. Laughable really.
Anuruddha Karunaratne: Belongs to Portsdown group practices. Went there for my MMR and Tetanus vaccination. It was done with minimal wait. Good service.
Alvis Kvederis: For 2 months I can't book appointment to see doctor for my medicine and when you call to reception have only 20 minutesto book from 08:00 and after10:00 so whenyou are in line like me 37 when they answered it was too late to book, try tomorrow but tomorrowisthe same story, I'm already coming once a year after hundreds of trying to book online I managed and they cancelled in my appointment day now I need get a new appointment
janet forster: Really good reception
Lorraine Atkins: This surgery is a joke
Julie White: This morning after encouraging my daughter to call too make an appointment to see a Doctor due to her anxiety and mental health issues , the receptionist diagnosised my daughter and said they couldn't help her .So thankyou very much to the lovely receptionist that had made my daughter feel even worse than she already doesWe will now be changing doctors ....
Pat Jacques: This is not our usual surgery but went there for our latest covid vaccination. I have to say the staff were friendly and helpful and the service quick and efficient.
orsinta tsanai: Even one star is too much for this surgery.Calling 4 days to book appointment for my little one and waiting for 30minute on the line and there is not appointment.

Portsdown Group Practice: what do users think?
Damon. J: Id love to share an experience but after 10 years at this peactise i dont have any. Exept when they asked me to attend for my test results. 2.5 hours in reception to be told all clear you need not have come in. All othe experience is on the phone being told to call back its the wrong time of day for sciatic pain. Its the wrong time of day for appointment its the wrong time of day for prescription its even the wrong time for generations enquiries. If you bneed any help and you are with this practice, I recommend hanging up and redialing 111.
Lucy Lou: I've had great experience with polite and courteous staff. Mostly dealt with prescription hub, which have been helpful with getting my medicines.I have even been seen face to face and had telephone appointments made for my reviews as well. Thank you all.
Sean Restall: Absolutely disgraceful, I told the receptionist I found a lump on my back and her response was sorry call back tomorrow over a week later and I still haven’t seen anyone or had a call back
Calum Blackwood: The “new amazing phone system” is just as bad if not worse, still can’t ever get through. Maybe spending more money on staff to answer phones would have been a better option than a phone system no one can use. Have been told on more than once occasion loss of vision is nothing to worry about making it seem normal, not sure that’s the case at 23 but I’m not a doctor🤷🏼‍♂️Appalling service received every time without fail.
Pete Morfill: The clinical staff are great here. Unfortunately it's next to impossible to contact them. You can't even get into the call tree in the morning, let alone actually speak to anyone to arrange an appointment.
Steve Hale: What an absolute nightmare to get any service. When you ring its engaged when you get through your told to call back as they're busy . When you get through your met with an Uninterested " kid" of a care navigator ( their words)who is not listening to you. When you get a call from a doctor for "triage" he gets your diagnosis wrong - you then have to go to the surgery to see a nurse practioner (who was very good btw) How on earth are these going to cope when cosham health centre closes and all the patients are split up over the few surgeries in the catchmentReally appaling .
sheila atrill: Registered at crookhorn but always have to go to cosham Park. Having no transport this is difficult. When you go into the surgery at crookhorn there's never.anyone waiting or maybe just one person.what's happened Crookhorn was once a brilliant practice.
katharine williams: If I could give no stars I would . Awful can’t get a repeat prescription let alone an appointment for my son who has three lumps on his neck .
Jin Varghese: I have been trying to book an appointment with them for over a year, its a complete dead silence of over 45 mins in call.I want to change my GP, this is my first GP here. I hope other GPs don't do the same.
Chanel Mare: My son had a rash come up on his arm and they refuse to see him have to go to pharmacy first absolutely ridiculous!!
Claire Hutton: Terrible, you’ll die before you get an appointment. After 35years I’ve moved to a different surgery.
Amanda Trentworth: Belinda on reception today beyond rude, no smile, total attitude problem, would not assist me at all, even though she was sat in front of the computer i was told go home and do it yourself, i said the surgery had contacted me, er no cant find nuff ink on the system, i think some customer service training is required, to go into a surgery and be told no go home is terrible and basically not i cant help at all but i WONT help at all,
Heidi Main (Foxy): Could only get an appointment at the cosham practice, not my local and registered doctor. Travelled by bus with my sick daughter, even called them informing them the bus was running late and we would be upto 20 minutes late. We made it there 15 minutes late and the doctor refused to see my sick daughter at all! Disgusting place! Also all windows are kept shut with curtains open so the place is like a greenhouse when asked to open a window they refused, there was an elderly lady there that was struggling with a mask on too in the heat and they didn't care!Terrible place and terrible staff!
Scott Gregory: Great surgery, has everything you want...That's if you want rude staff, long waits on a phone and no chance of seeing or speaking to a doctor 👍
josh smith: What’s the point in having an online consultation service when it’s never open. Not only that you can never get through on the phone and when you do you are either told your problem is not important enough and to use e consult (which is always closed) or you are told there are no available appointments. Pets get better healthcare than this. Not entirely sure what I pay national insurance for.
True Fact: I feel sorry for everyone who tries to get through in the morning on the phones. Always impossible. It's like they hang up on you or disconnect there phones with a cuppa and biscuit in there hand. Really bad service, DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS DOCTOR SURGERY. Horrible service, useless, if you Google your symptoms, then that makes you a doctor. Prescribe yourself with the medication you need, you will get further rather than trying to get through to this surgery. BLOODY USELESS.!!!! SAD THIS COUNTRY HAS BECOME LIKE THIS.
Matt Toner: If I could select 0 stars I would.THE WORST SURGERY I've ever had to use.you are never able to get through on the phone, rude staff when you do get through, they then cancel appointments in the last second and then its impossible to get back through for another one! This surgery needs some MAJOR work done.
William Walker: I'm sick to death of the appalling treatment from these guys. Always overbooked even when you call on time. Last year NHS 111 made a follow up appointment as its my children's GP, it was to do with my daughters breathing. We turned up and they said there was no space for them to see my daughter even though all 3 waiting rooms were empty and it was 5pm. You'd think how awful they are that they'd try and better themselves but even then they get even worse!!!
Kelly Francis: I have been with Portsdown for a year now and I think despite it being a very difficult time every staff member I have spoken to or dealt with has been wonderful. I’m very happy with the service myself and my family have had and will be staying at this practice for years to come
Carol Channon: I phoned for an appointment as I suffer with mental health issues and was told for the second day running that none were available. I explained that it was quite important that I at least speak to a GP (I have tried multiple times over the last few months to no avail) and was told that a pharmacist could call me!! I explained that as I was SUICIDAL this was no good. The receptionist then told me that doctors are only good for diagnosis and pharmacists are who I need to speak to. Unbelievable!!

Queen Alexandra Hospital: what do users think?
Gurphylock: The Emergency Care Centre team have been amazing today. Thank you to everyone for taking such good care of my partner.Friendly, calm and professional 😇
Chris Law: I had a fall a couple of weeks ago (Fri May 26th) and went to A&E about 6pm with a suspected broken wrist. The Emergency Care Department staff were absolutely wonderful. Despite being very very busy and run off their feet,  everyone who looked after me - from reception to nurses to doctors and x-ray staff - all were absolutely fantastic.  A special shout out goes to nurses Kerry, Angie and Stacey. Although they were coming to the end of a very busy day, you wouldn't have known as each patient was treated in the same kind, caring, and professional way. They were a credit to our wonderful  NHS. Thank you to them and each and every one of their wonderful team.............I’ve now been referred to the Fracture Clinic and I've met some more fantastic staff who also deserve a shout-out.Firstly, there's there's Jan from the Plaster Room who took my my call just as the department was closing one evening but stayed on to listen to my concerns about my back plaster and gave me lots of very much appreciated reassurance which totally alleviated my worries. Then when I went for my first Fracture Clinic appointment, I met Karen in the Plaster Room who was doing a great job dealing with an already very, very heavy workload of patients. I don't know how she did it, but Karen managed to keep her sense of humour and calm approach even though several of the patients were unnecessarily rude to her and her team because they'd had a wait.Karen was ably assisted by a very competent, encouraging and smiley Emma to replace my back plaster with a full cast.A HUGE thank you goes to all of them. As a patient, it's so reassuring to be looked after by such capable, professional and friendly staff.
Alan Morgan: Its a large hospital.
Jessica DeLude: Not great-- no real following of practice rules for cleanliness for nurses, no one person washed their hands when examining me, only two wore gloves, no wipe down of shared equipment before/after my use, a cleaner used the same paper towel and sink water to wash down common areas. When I dislocated my knee I was made to walk to another area of the hospital alone with no support or aid at all, and evidently emergencies after 9pm were deemed not urgent and the lack of care was shocking. When I was brought in via ambulance and couldn't walk, a doctor made me walk to an exam room and questioned why I couldn't, and dismissed my explanation. Pain management equated to 3 ibuprofen under the guise of observation for effect, but no further interactions were made with me regarding it.The CQC lists this hospital as Green, but the things I've seen should place it well lower than that. The attitudes of most staff were pleasant, but this can't be pinned on understaffing of NHS, it's just a lack of care for basic practices of health and safety for patients.
zeenat jearally: Hi someone can help to fine a home in Queen alexandra hill road please...... thanks is my what's app number ok 👌 +23059092146
Paul Ellis: Some signage to certain wards confusing
Dee Alexis: Appalling A AND E DEPARTMENT. No training in mental health atall. A friend attempted suicide a few days ago, major over dose ambulance rushed her to the hostipal. Toxic overdose, she was in 7 hours no blood tests no treatment . Just seen by a doctor that said suicide is silly and told her to go home. Nurse was very rude to her also, she wasn’t checked upon and let to go home. My friend left and tried sucide straight away . You don’t even want to know the outcome now ! Absolutely disgusted the staff that dealt with her should be ashamed and sickened . She shouldn’t of left that hostipal , without seeing a mental health team. You deserve blood on your hands
Tara Bruno: Looked after my baby on nicu for 53 days and have been amazing! Can’t thank them all!
Brad Hughes: Absolutely appalling level of care, completely unorganised, staff levels are worse than ever, staff attitudes are very poor. It's time to get private health care insurance. The NHS has become a joke...
julio Da Silva: Long wait…however amazing people working here!Very surprised how good the staff are here!
Pj B: Breast services clinic staff and consultant (Dr Lorna) made an otherwise stressful experience very tolerable with obvious professionalism and gentle humour. A tough job at times, I am sure, but they were fabulous.
nicholachadwick1: An excellent hospital. Patients seen and treated in a very timely manner… A tricky delivery with my son was handled very well indeed and always felt extremely safe. After a family members surgery we were impressed with the cleanliness of the hospital and the attentiveness of the staff. Also impressed with the prompt and effective treatment. Thank you so much!
Clare Lyons-Baker: Excellent maternity servicesI transferred care from St Richards and found QA and the Havant community midwifery team, absolutely wonderful! Thank you for everything 💙
Leo Dinnage: staff are overworked and doing their best
Anthony Snook: Very good service
nick woods: Well dur how could you like a hospital
Pompey Smith: Excellent facilities but communication between departments is very poor
Lewis Doherty: Staff are so lovely and friendly thanks for all the help
Jessica Ball: Fabulous team that genuinely care. Thank you :)
Marion Cuthbert: Rather not
Vanessa Raynbird: I had an appointment to visit ENT at Queen Alexandra Hospital today and would like to thank them for an extremely efficient and friendly service. My appointment was for 10.20, I was in with the doctor at 10.30, a scan was carried out 5 mins later and all clear results within 5 mins and back in my car by 11.00. Thank you to all involved, you do a magnificent job.
