Somerstown Health Centre: what do users think?
Henry Blackie: The staff I've met are nice, but it is hard to recommend the practice. The booking system rarely has available appointments and when one does become available they are taken almost instantly. The eConsults service also appears to have the same issue, as I have been unable to complete the form before the service reaches capacity and closes for the day.
Anna Liput: Can ever get a visit, make no sense, good bye
PickledSakura: Everytime I've needed to call and enquire about something they've always been helpful and kind!
ANGIE SPURRIER: Hi, Just wanted to share a positive experience with the Somerstown Health Centre today, spoke to a lovely receptionist who was really helpful and answered all my queries.Sorry I didn't get your name but thank you. :)
David peters: Can’t get appointments for love nor money! You have to ring at exactly ten am everyday to stand any chance! And usually guess what? It’s then engaged and you can’t get through! My 11 year old is suffering serious mental health issues and can’t get help because of this! What a joke!!
Rikta Monsur: No.1 Rubbish Gp is somerstown health Centre Why not shouting down this Gp i feel so fed up i been 4 years here haven't got any appointment although i have health issues i completely forgot myself but when i try to make appointment for my kids they always fully booked really making me disappointed im trying since 3 days to make a appointment for my daughter they advised me first one of the Gp receptionist to go pharmacy and pharmacy people say they can't give anything and this is not new everytime that happening with me Attention there is something need to understand for Gp doctors and receptionists as well pharmacy is only for basics advic or treatment but we do not need that is like home treatment we already know that pharmacy even not qualified for take any action against of infection little headache fever diarrea cough allergy we know how to treat all thos we only need to go Gp further treatment then Why they make time waist for us and the lady from the Gp receptionist who cutt my line off 3 times after holding on she is so rude they just paid for nothing they also love to hearing OMG 😔😔😔
Anuruddha Karunaratne: Well organized clinic. Friendly reception staff.
gill cawte: I have been with this surgery for years, the doctors and the nurses are lovely, but most of the receptionist that answer the phones are quite abrupt, I have been trying to get a repeat prescription for 2 weeks , lines are busy at all times and the App has stopped working for some reason. Not Happy 😡
Jasmine Sheehan: The service at this doctors is horrendous!!! Can’t get through in the morning to even book an appointment when they tell you at 2 pm the surgery is closed!!! How is that normal practise hours!!! Absolute nightmare
Em C: It feels Impossible with this doctor surgery, I will be moving surgeries soon
youniece1: I wish there was a score less than 1 star. I had a horrible experience with a nurse who was so rude, impatient and dismissive during my annual diabetic appointment. Imagine acting like she was under so much stress at 11am in the morning! She told me in dismissive attitude that I had to wait till next year April to have a blood sugar test (this was in October 2021), despite this being my annual diabetic test, claiming I had a test some months ago at QA. When I asked her the result of the test and what it meant for my annual diabetic check and the implication fir my care plan, she rudely told me to write to QA for the result. I tried to tell her that QA had ESR told me to find out from my GP about the results, but she wasn’t listening. There was no doctor or manager at the surgery that I could speak to and was left more distressed than when I first came in. It’s impossible to get an appointment or even a call back from the doctor through the triage. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone. Needless to say, I changed to another surgery.
Christine Emmerson: Impossible to get an appointment. I had breathing issues and needed to see a doctor. I was told I had to go to the walk in centre at St. Mary's. I went and because it was packed waited four hours before getting seen. I was told I should have gone to QA as they couldn't give me the treatment I needed. So I was left ill. The idiot at my doctor's had sent me to the wrong hospital. St Mary's told me it was the worst doctors in the city. They are right.
samantha boniface: I've been with this surgery all my life. Since its gone into portsdown group its not as good. They r so rude when u phone upThe tell u to order on line but u can't get on the website anymore
Rachel Vallis: I'm a new patient at this practice and couldn't be happier with the service I have received from the reception staff. I had an on going issue from my previous practice which they have dealt with efficiently and promptly.Extremely friendly and courteous. Thank you to the 2 ladies that assisted me!
Arkadiusz Szmigielski: This is some kinda joke, i called 12 times and i cant speak with anyone ? what they are doing in this center ?
Ellie: Impossible 2 c a doc in person even before the pandemic. Extremely difficult to speak to one. Doc changed my routine prescriptions without speaking to me first.
Vanta Black: I've been with this surgery for over 30 years, but since it became absorbed with Portsdown Group Practice, its standards have slipped. Now it's difficult to get appointments [I understand the understaffing, but people have actively been refused appointments on occasions] and while good doctors remain – if you ever get to see one instead of a nurse practitioner – they are few and far between. The rest palm you off with medication with with little to no actual examination. More extremely, a relative of mine with cancer was subjected to one doctor who'd refused to check out her symptoms before she discovered her diagnosis later at A&E, then this same doctor recently made jokes about her 'dire (x10)' situation and how she should contact a hospice instead of her oncology consultant. I find such behaviour unacceptable and unprofessional, and I'm sure the NHS Trust would have something to say if I reported his conduct to them.
Shozlul Amin: Would be zero score if given the choice. If you need an example of extremely bad customer service and low standards, this is the place. I don't know how these receptionists are qualified to do this job.
KEVIN PENNY: I have been with this surgery since the early 70s and I have always found Dr. Elizabeth Shepherd very caring and good at her job and that goes for most of her predecessors.
Mohammod Farukul Islam: Worst experience on the phone today, called to make appointment, the lady was literally banging on about a routine appoiment and didn't literally give me 4 seconds to explain what's going on with elderly mother, just soo rude and have no care about thier patients ! These people at this surgery simply want to fob you off and lie so you'd go away
abdulkhaliq ghafori: Very disappointed surgery I have ever seen. Waiting to see GP for 2 hours - it was my routine appointment :( .

Dr A Lawson - University Surgery Portsmouth: what do users think?
Panna: The absolute worse, Some of the doctors are really rude, cried after it, and it's impossible to get I help if you need it you have to go to other hospitals and wait there 7 hours..
Francisco José Vicente Bautista: Right after being seen by a doctor, I realised that I forgot to ask something. The receptionist told me that I would have to book another appointment to ask that question. So I asked him to book a new one. He told me that I would have to phone to get a new one because of the pandemic. I could understand that if I wasn't already there!I was having a really bad time at that point in my life, and I really needed some help and empathy. I end up mostly crying in front of him after the extra stress and frustration of his indifference. Honestly, I don't think he could have cared less about me because he acted completely helpless to me since the moment I stepped into the surgery. My second bad experience was when I tried to get a general health test because I didn't have one in the last three years. They replied that I cannot have one if I don't have any symptoms. Well, so I visited Spain recently and I could get one there. Turned out that I have high cholesterol and a few other things. Finally, the most recent experience happened to me when I've been trying to book an appointment because I think I could have ADHD, depression or both—booking an appointment through the phone is just impossible, and the E-consults are not even working.
T.H.: A joke. Ended up in hospital 3 times before someone decided to book me in for an online consultation. I am not sure how that is even allowed by law
Romulo Nascimento: The surgery's website has now been down for a significant time, current restrictions mean that for many the website is many people's first and only port of call.Once it returns to working order this review will be updated.

Lighthouse Group Practice (Devonshire Avenue): what do users think?
Anthony Robinson: It's absolute nightmare to try and book a appointment. Without being rude the receptionist shouldn't try and tell the public what is best for them....I haven't got a clue how the older generation get on..
jane carville: Left me with pleural effusion no antibiotics for 6 weeks !!! Didn't call back only emailed me sicknote absolutely disgusting I will be taking further
Sophie Rusk: I cannot naturally bare children (22 years old) due to the incompetence of every single doctor at this practise. The surgery had completely failed me and I warn everyone who either goes here/wants to go here to run a mile. I believe it should be shut down.
Daylight Doctor: The young lady behind reception was happy and very helpful. It was a refreshing change from my usual experiences with doctors receptionists. Let's hope that time doesn't have her falling into line with the majority of her colleagues. 🙂
Belinda Boadi (Bel): Can’t even call their line as it hangs up with user busy for the whole time I try calling
Anita Whiteley: If you can get through on the phone ,well done. Shocking wait times on the phone, locked doors as standard. The surgery in Devonshire practice used to be brilliant but since merger and covid has slid into the abyss.
Heidi Drake: Since becoming part of the lighthouse group this surgery has become poor. The doctors I am sure are very good but since it is impossible to get an appointment you will never know. And if like a lot of older people you are not able to use the Internet, then this surgery will be of no use to you at all as it is impossible to get through on the phone.
Martin Hubbard: Needed a GP close to my house, was a bit worried after reading the comments. Was pleasantly surprised! The front office quickly assigned the dates and helped me out, the Doctor called me first thing on Friday morning and gave me an appointment for Monday!Everyone was polite and helpful 10/10
Simon's Channel: i tried to call them many times, high waiting times. i get to talk to someone and they rush through with no idea of how to help. i wanted an appointment to get an assessment for diagnosis. they recommend 111, or online then hung up. i tried online and i have to now register with that practice to use the online facility. i dont think i can go into the practice to register. i went to the devonshire avenue practice and a notice on the door said, "only appointments are allowed in", i did not have an appointment. it seems like a catch 22 situation. to register you have to go into a practice and to get into a practice you have to have an appointment , to get an appointment you have to be registe....the nhs died.
Roman 4: Since it joined the Lighthouse group everything gone down the hill. Almost, impossible to get any appointments. Once I rang 73 times to get through and was 13th in a queue just to hear thats no appointments for today. Next day was the same and I decided to use pharmacy for urgent advice so pointless to ring the GP if they do not help . Old practice was more helpful and accommodating, now it seems like a business project for someone to make money. Sorry but very disappointed with current situation of my practice I use to trust and love .
mark c: October 2020 - Rubbish. My personal view is ever since becoming the Lighthouse Practice the place has hit the rocks and the service is dreadful. All the work seems to be put on the poor underpaid and overworked staff at the pharmacy opposite and local hospitals. To get an appointment you have to do everything online which 25% of the people that go there probably aren't able to do and getting a phone appointment is pretty much impossible. The admin staff are nowhere near as helpful as they used to be.The only thing holding this place together is the quality of the doctors and nurses. When you buy a new house you look at all the services close by i.e schools, docs, etc. If you are looking at this practice then please look at all the recent reviews.
Stuart Darwin: Great service from a happy friendly doctor, wish I could see you more
Elsie-may Simmonds: Had my prescription withheld because there was a note saying I should have an appointment before my next prescription, I had not been informed of this until trying to collect it thus leaving me without any of the medication I am supposed to take daily which has a very unpleasant effect when cut cold turkey, this is completely not on. Staff was rude and unhelpful.
Joolz A: Trying to make an emergency doctors appointment at Devonshire Practice now part of Trafalgar Group and after listening to the extended message I press 5 for appointments . It starts ringing and tells me I am in a queue and then the phone gets disconnected . I am so enraged . This isn't the first time it has happened either . I suppose I could go and join all the other people queued outside the doctors surgery at 8am [ they even have a sign outside the doctors asking to queue from the left as they know how bad it is trying to get an appointment and their neighbours are fed up with the noise and queues outside their house ] . You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see they need more staff to answer the phones also the reception staff now called ' care navigators ' are severely lacking in the ' care ' part of their job description . So glad I left and went to another doctors .
Unknown Sender: Use to think they were a great surgery but over the last few months its almost impossible to get an appointment...there is no system in place at all other than calling that day at 8.30 which you can never get through and when you do no appointments, regardless how urgent your care is.I have mental health problems and all it does is push you away from getting the help needed, recently wrote a letter just so i can inform a doctor of how important it is i get help and i never even got a phonecall.I would not go back to this surgery again knowing how they make you feel, and just stay with my issues regardless of how urgent it is, because it feels like they dont care.
Marc Gear: Awful surgery !! Avoid at all costs - mixed messages, receptionist not helpful at all, make things up on the spot! Waste of NHS funding! Should be closed down
Neal: Absolutely disgusted with the treatment of my wife. Very stressful time and the receptionists were lacking in feeling, empathy, helpfulness or even information. She needed blood tests done and told to come in. Turns out the blood person is on holiday and so after waiting 2 hours couldn’t get them done anyway. Why wasn’t this said at the beginning when she said she needed blood tests?? Simple questions on future bookings were then unanswered and paper slips were just passed across the desk with follow up questions ignored. My wife left in tears.
Lewis Hayes: Historically this was an amazing surgery with kind and attentive doctors, easy booking processes and excellent cleanliness. But in the last couple of months the doctors all retired, now the surgery are struggling to issue appointments or keep up with the workload and honestly the place has fallen apart. It saddens me that i have had to leave, they have helped me through some of the worst stages of my life but until they can sort out their business, stay away.
Sally-Marie Bartlam-Hawes: There are no routine appointments available which puts me off seeing a GP for less urgent conditions as I don't want to take up an urgent slot. The slots they do have go very quickly so I usually queue outside before they open which is less than ideal. That being said, all the GP's, bar one locum, have been kind, patient and diligent. I think if people understood just how difficult it is to recruit new GP's and how hard the current ones work they would be more sympathetic.
M T: it's impossible to book an appointment and you can only get one on a day if you are well enough to queue outside for 30 minutes before the surgery opens. I've never been able to call in in the morning and get an appointment as by the time I get thru , all appointments are taken by people who turned up at the surgery. For some reason staff do not offer routine and urgent Lake Road appointments. Current doctors are very good but staff at the reception have gone pass caring which is very sad to see.
Mary Bish: Simply they care and are all good doctors

Lake Road Health Centre: what do users think?
catherine batchelor: Very good
Carla cox: I had make doctor out of hours and he made me so uncomfortable wanted a lady doctor, Waste of time really travelling all there for nothing
Puiyee Chan: no reply
nazma begum: So bad I called in to get an appointment but they are always fully booked and the reception lady was not so friendly. You can never get an appointment in that place.
Gary Perryman: Can't belive I have been with these 50 years plus. It's not very often that I need them but 4 weeks ago I had surgery on my eye they put a gas bubble in so of course I had to go sick and the bubble still there and the hospital told me if I need another sick note then go to my doctors which I did last Monday then told to go away come back Wednesday which I did was told it will be done on Friday. Told its with the doctor its now Monday still nothing . When I go down there the places is empty..The Practice is getting worse It's a joke.
Stephen Doody: I was on a course antibiotics from the Q.A Hospital was told to see a Doctor here, to get more when I run out. I was told no you don`tneed them any more, 5 days later infection came back and lost my leg (Below knee amputation) when i tried to get compensation records where lost Don`t trust them even staff in reception think they are Doctors. and they lie
Peter Osa Amenawon: Health care center the govt for the people
Giovanni Sandrono: The Lady Doctor who called me back today ( if is a Doctor at all) around 13.30 is definitely in the wrong profession. Should have been a Veterinary since wasn't interested on listening a patients symptoms. Not impressed at all. Sadly isn't just this practice but is becoming a poor national standard.
Matthew M: Absolutely shocking doctors surgery. I was suicidal. So I went to the doctors surgery for help. The doctor said there was nothing he could do for me. Just try what had worked before even though I had explained to him I already had. Then because I was desperate I pushed fire alarm. Rather than ringing me to check in. The practise manager phoned me and informed me I no longer aloud at the doctor’s surgery. They were kicking me out. So how am I suppose to get medication now! I tried explaining to her the situation she wasn’t interested I explained I was suicidal she ok and hung the phone up. A really bad practise that cannot even get prescription to the chemist on time without you chasing them.
Esme Gibbs: Rude reception. Lovely everyone else.
Billy Davis: No help at all.
Angela Okeke-Ramos: Absolutely the worst experience here. Every time I come 30m to my appointment I'm only seen 30m later and to add onto this not given the right treatment, just told oh keep checking it. Doctors recommended I use DUCK TAPE to treat a finger wart I've had for 1 year. Ridiculous. Impossible to see a skin specialist. Check ups are not existent...nobody bothered to look at the finger wart, it is like they are guessing and giving you random diagnosis so they can go home. Rude members of staff at reception.
John Connolly: Kept getting hung up!, and when i got through its like she was a robot 😠
Lisa Howard: DO NOT JOIN HERE IF U ACTUALLY NEED HELP. AS LONG AS THERE WORK LOAD IS CONVENIENT OTHERWISE THEY DON'T CARE.
Carey: I know times are hard on the NHS, The reception is terrible to get through, but I have a great GP, I am grateful to have such a nice GP
Beatrice p: Best team!
Carol Adams: It is helpful, staff can answer most questions (non medical) and will assist if asked. Wheelchair friendly.
Susan Bridke: I've had a in growing toe nail for weeks now and still not got sorted I was told this surgery is really good but I think not I'm thinking of changing again as my toe is getting worse plus 2 lots of antibiotics I've had and still nothing
theh0vis: All is fine provided that you make an appointment to see a Doctor six weeks before you get ill because (if you leave it until the time you actually become sick) you surely will not be able to get a consultation.
Mr Kobaloi: Only place that does travel vacations willingly bee great through the pandemic reception staff always been helpful
Gavin Moulds: Absolutely Disgusting attitude and disregard for patients beyond belief. I now fully understand why Ambulance and Emergency depts are inappropriately used. Oh....hang on is it cos your surgery are like a chocolate fireguard.

East Shore Partnership: what do users think?
Kat T: For routine appointments, this can take time to book but for urgent ones, they are responsive. They were very kind & understanding to my mum today, got her in & treated her straight away and I just wanted to write this review to thank them. Much appreciated.
Siobhan Butt: Possibly the worst GP surgery. You can't pre book an appointment I've just been told. You can only either call up at 8am then wait by your phone to get a call back, so if you have a job where you can't do this how is a doctor supposed to speak to you? Or you can fill in an online form which isn't available to under 16's so there is actually no way for me to book an appointment for my children.
Andrea St Simon's: No waiting calm kind nurse practitioner
Shelagh Oneill: I've never had a problem getting to see a Dr, they either give you a triage call or if it's necessary you get to see a Dr. I won't go anywhere else
Sue Marsh: Still the worst Doctors Surgery I've ever been in. One receptionist thinks she’s God and wrote in my note’s that I was rude, “Physician heal thyself”, and as you are Christian based surgery I hope she reads this and understands.
Charlie thomson: Happy good
Lauren Payne: Absolutely awful.. impossible to get an appointment for my 5 year old so spent 7 hours first at the walk in centre and then A&E.
Iulia Iulia: I'm training to heve my sick note from this morning from 8 and is 16:25 and nobody give me a call to talk to me 1 minute and do my sick note. I'm very disappointed!
Allan Marshall-Box: Absolutely appalling service from call takers (gatekeepers) to actual GPS. I haven't seen a gp until today since last August, and I had to beg to get todays appt (literally). When I got there I waited for 45 mins after appt time before I was taken and then was adv weren't qualified to help.
Kate Dyce: I had an appointment today with a doctor named Donna (over here from the Isle of Wight, helping out with this surgery) just want to say thank you thank you thank you you were great and would certainly be an asset should you ever join this surgery. Best service from this surgery 👏 🙌 👌
Miss Wench: can not get an appointment to see a doctor just tell you to go down to a walk in centre or to call back anther time just to get told the same thing each time cant even book an appointment to see a Nurse for a smear test
jackie: I would just like to thank everyone at this practice for the kindness, patience, and care showed to me and my mum. You are all amazing and I don't know what I would do without your help. Always professional, always calm and very helpful. Thank you thank you thank you.
Ron Gray: Once again useless. Only wanted to change postcode. Receptionist/Queen of England infuriating. Says I need to apply in writing
George Sandy: Incompetent staff, unprofessional and untruthful to patients.Unfortunately can’t put 0 stars so has to be one.
shannon Holman: I have nothing but absolute respect for all at this practice. I have a rare disease that can be all encompassing. The Drs have shown so much compassion in listening to my knowing of my disease and how to manage it.I fully believe this practice has saved my life compared to where I was previously.I can only praise this surgery 100%. ThankyouShannon Holman
I S: I waited 2 weeks for a telephone consultation
Jennie Rogers: Very helpful staff and friendly
Man Maje: Terrible service.
Peter Reynolds: Real good surgery good staff they think of your well being
Phil: Great service
Thomas Goodwin: Even though it might take time to get an appointment people must remember the nhs is under a lot of stress from being over worked. This is not helped by further abuse of the free system. However when you get an appointment the process for treatments is efficient.

Ann Harrington: Covid vaccination. My 95yr old mother & I attended the Lighthouse hub on Sunday 10th Jan. The organisation was first class, from the traffic signs on the road until leaving the site. All the staff including the people in the outside areas were kind, helpful & efficient. As a sole carer to have had this marvellous vaccine, I feel a weight has been lifted from my shoulders knowing that I should be able to maintain my care through out the crisis.I don't know why anyone would refuse it Thank you.

Derby Road Group Practice: what do users think?
Pat Stephenson: Cannot speak more highly of this gp practice that I have recently enrolled with. They were brilliant when my 86 year old MiL was very poorly and recently my husband and myself have required medical treatments which I can only say the carenavs and reception staff have been more than helpful. Perhaps a few other surgeries not too far away should take a leaf from Derby Roads practice.
Ann Mozdzer: It would be better if we werent greeted by empty waiting rooms, and then expected to wait twenty mins to be seen! You cant expect to believe surgeries are at full capacity when 9 out of 10 chairs are empty!
Ann Ann: Absolutely horrendous. I’ve been seeking treatment for about 5 months now regarding skin issues. At this point I can’t eat because I have food intolerance but can’t quite figure what. As of now I have wounds on my palms and feet and boils all over my body. I can’t walk properly or go to work. Anytime I go to the clinic they just take pictures and give me topical steroids(Clobetasol propionate). Whenever I raise an issue about the steroids bleaching me they say it’s not steroids am on but only a moisturiser. I sought treatment with minor skin condition but now it’s worse than it was. They won’t listen when I suggest the probable cause.
Katrina Adeyemi: Hi I brought my little boy to see Dr Moore as he was complaining of stomach pain bare in mind my son has severe autism and is non verbal the GP was very he sent my boy up the hospital but lucky enough it was not serious Dr Moore phoned me the next da to see how my son was and how he got on at the hospital it's not the first time where a doctor has phoned the next day to see how my son was whan an amazing practice and I would recommend them to anyone thank you all so much for the care and support you have shown my family
Rona Isascam: Derby road is great surgery! All the staff are friendly & helpful whenever I call!
Beverley Deacon: No problems at all with this clinic doctors and staff
Donella Ogilvie-Lees: Cannot fault this surgery, have helped everytime I have called. GPs are extremely friendly and reception staff are lovely.
Verity: After a long hassle of getting registered I can say the admin team are very helpful in person. However I have my doubts to go back. I (a weight lifter) was told I was overweight (according to BMI) so my medications would have to change. The medication in question wasn’t even the reason I got the appointment. As we all know, BMI means nothing if you body build, but I still now have body insecurities. Having been told I am overweight, no advice was given on how I can take my weight to a ‘healthier’ number.
sue mcsheaffrey: I can't fault this surgery. I don't often need medical help but after a post op infection they have been amazing. Stitch removal, wound care, swabs, antibiotics. In a time when GP's are getting unfairly blamed for the entire NHS crisis, they deserve a little thanks. So thankyou.
debbie brumpton: So hard to get an appointment.
Shirley Arnold: Was on the phone 2hrs and 15 mins before getting through to the surgery. I did manage to get a doctors call and see a doctor the same evening. The doctor helped and gave me the advice I needed.
Jason T: Appalling!Appalling treatment from GP's since 2010-cheap medication with alot of side effects provided by ticking a box that gives a diagnosis, which is mostly obesity related even if cancer causes obesity(even if tick 10 boxes for something else!).Only giving 1 star because they sometimes give prescription to chemist!GP's don't listen to patients!Don't expect any appointments whenever you ring, yet if in surgery,no phones ringing at that time! One receptionist been there too long is totally obnoxious and should be trained on customer service!Loads of good reviews made by staff that work there,so not 1 star overview!
Jasmine Elliott: This place is so unreliable. I’ve been on the phone for 40+ mins (still on hold as i speak) and I was apparently number 1 in the call queue. GP receptionists are the most undependable people for urgent matters.
Miklos Szonyi: How disgusting it is if I call the surgery 5 minutes before 8am which means the surgery is not even open yet but they saying is you are 15 in the call, and they keep saying sorry all the time !!
Chantelle Durnall: I've called the doctors surgery twice now explaining I've had two car crashes in a week and I'm in agony with my back. Still won't give me an appointment to be seen have only been offered a sick note. At this point I could have internal bleeding and no one would know. 😅
Irene Swan: Wanted to see a doctor. Phoned at 8am . Told to attend at 10.45am. Didn’t see a doctor, practice nurse, who the had to spend time on the phone to doctor to see what medication I could have. I would rather die than go through the present process. Discussing private matters with a receptionist is not for me
Angelo Tan: Terrible with phone calls especially when urgent.
Claire Bear and kiwi: You can never get through and by the time you do no appointments left took me a week to get an appointment . You alway get citt off when phoning that but you back in the queue please sort you phone system out it's ridiculous.
Auditing ByV: The surgery is a joke sits on phone and always gets cut off due to there terrible overloaded telephone system, then when you call back by the time you get through you cannot get through as get sorry your call cannot be taken.Seriously sort your phone lines out and your surgery as a whole or you will be being audited on your terrible service and published all over social media, take note this isn't a threat and will be carried through to raise awareness to the public.
Lynda Barrett: Waited for 90 mins to get thru to book appt then when I got to No 1 in the call queue they shut the surgery but didn’t mention it on the line & left me still hanging on .. disgraceful service
Michelle Hartley: After previous experiences of other surgeries, this is a breath of fresh air.

The Baffins Surgery: what do users think?
versell gordon: Regularly does not send my prescription to my pharamcy, or missing out vital medication on precriotions so i only get 3 of 4 parts , leading me to have Ezeama flair ups that then in turn gives anxiety and depression making me unable to work missing out on money, unable to go out, see people or see my girlfriend and to live my life normally. Im unable to maintain a regular routine in my own health care because of my prescription getting messee up.Back in the day when it was just the milton park practice they were great.I hate complaining but i have to now, sorry.
Steve Stern: Fantastic recent service. Saw someone called Chris Hill and I cannot speak highly enough of him. Seen quickly and treated with empathy. Felt like I wasn’t just “another patient”
Hayley: Staff are always helpful and friendly.
richard hodgson: in and out for my first flu jab
Chris Reid: Excellent surgery and general practice.
Sue Marsh: Unfortunately I have had a hard time getting the help needed in regards to the health issues I'm going through at the moment. One doctor was incredibly rude to me over the phone and as he'd been the doctor that ordered blood tests I was surprised to find I had to chase up what the results meant. The results were very important as they showed how I'll I was. On another occasion I was told I had vertigo several times but it was a veritable artery dissection and was in hospital. The nurses and other staff are amazing and so is Dr Mendoza who always explains things to me and for them I give 5 stars.
Mike Palmer: Been a patient at this surgery for just over 20 years now, the doctors (especially Dr Crisp) are excellent and I have never had a problem with the reception staff. It can take a while to get through on the phone first thing in the morning, but I find using their online service to book a phone appointment a lot more convenient if I don't actually have to see a doctor in person (although I do miss the personal touch of an in person appointment). The surgery is modern and clean and I find the staff friendly.
shannon Holman: I changed from a doctors surgery just over a year ago to this one as my husband is also a patient here!Since becoming a patient here I have had nothing but great treatment from all at this surgery. Everyone is fantastic and willing to listen to me and accept that I know my condition (it is a rare disease! ) as I live with it since 2013 and am continuously researching it!They are all so very thoughtful kind and totally willing to help in any way they can!I actually have never felt more in control of my Disease and able to live with it much easier than the previous 6years from Diagnoses in 2013 before moving to this surgery!I rate this surgery highly and am now feeling much more of a human being than a problem!Thankuou all!I for One am a very happy patient!
T M: I stay with this surgery even though it’s - fair distance from me because they have always been helpful and the staff extremely friendly. I can not fault their service and am grateful for the care I have received! Thank you.
Dave Jones: Dr stocker chucked me out of his office and told me he had real patients to see. Told me my bowel problems were nothing and told me i was lying about my problems. 6 months later after changing doctor, just had 4 pre cancerous growths removed from my intestines over the course of 2 surgical procedures.
I S: Long wait for an appointment
derek bull: Very good surgery, incorporates child care nursery, and St Cuthbert's church.
Antony Fellini: Excellent modern surgery offering a wide range of specialities and skills.
Julie Featherstone: Diabolical absolute Joke have watched this surgery go down hill . Don't think of being unwell as nobody has time to see you or even talk to you in person anymore
Wendy Winslade: On Monday 13th of November 2017 my husband rang the surgery asking to see a doctor as he was suffering with chest pains, the receptionist rudely said 'I've got 70 other patients to squeeze in refusing him an appointment, my husband died three days later of a heart attack, why are the receptionists not properly trained and why are they not held responsible?
natalie thompson: I very rarely leave reviews, but this surgery is so bad that I feel the need to. Have been with them all my life and it’s only gone downhill in the last few years. I turned up recently to a 2.10pm appointment, checked in as normal with the receptionist who told me to take a seat upstairs. Apon arriving to a VERY full waiting room and waiting half hour past my appointment one of the other patients said “you do realise the doctor is running TWO HOURS behind?” I had to do the school run at 3.10pm so I went back to the receptionist who had no idea they were running 2 hours behind (which surely should be part of her job?) I had to leave and was not happy as it’s petrol and my time wasted (what about people taking time off work for these appts?) if I turned up 2 hours late they wouldn’t see me, so why should it be acceptable the other way around. To add insult to injury, (excuse the pun) they put on my patient portal online that “patient walked out” well that’s not entirely true I was there 10 minutes before my appointment time, and even waited half hour PAST my appointment time only to find there was a 2 hour wait! So had to leave.. waste of time..
Julie Green: needed medication for holiday.doctors surgery saying i already had enough morphine patches....they wouldnt give me any.i was panicking coz of holiday 2 days time.did out of hours at lake rd.doctor there looked at notes and gave me patches.my surgery were not interested at all i would go into cold turkey if no patches. not good if in another country. changing doctors now..
Liga Alves: Horrible service!!!
Nyasha Miyi: True the waiting time past the appointment time is long n so is everywhere but when u get to see the doctors, they are very very helpful. In my opinion the health professionals have too much workload. At one point Dr phoned me at 1830 n missed me. Phoned again at 2000hrs but their finishing time is 1830.I feel sorry for them as well as in hospitals. 1nurse:26patients. What kind of service does one receive in such a situation?
Richard Smith: Have been with the surgery for about 13 years and has been fantastic but not any more office staff are sarcastic and very curt. It’s gone back in time to the 80s were you had to almost pay the receptionist to look at the book. My wife was told to go to A&E by the receptionist to be seen and when I was told that I would have to go to the walk in cente to be seen because I work I Petersfield
Steve Powell: I have been going to this surgery for 36 years from birth and have watched it decline in to a dreadful state to the point that I am now desperately trying to move to another clinic. One of the partners Dr Crisp misdiagnosed my father's prostate cancer for some months resulting in his treatment options being severely limited when finally diagnosed by one of the more capable members of the team who sadly is no longer there. Trying to get appointments at the surgery is virtually impossible and in the latest revision to their appointment booking system you have to call within a 20 minute window at 8am in the morning to have any change of getting a call back (not an appointment) where the triage team will decide if you are worthy of being seen. Beyond that you are only able to book appointments months in advance on their website. On the most recent occasion I had to contact the doctors on the advice of 111 where I was told I should see someone within 6 hours, upon calling I was told by the receptionist that my condition was not considered serious enough and that they would put me on the triage list the following day for a phone call. All day I waited to receive a call from a doctor only to be called by the receptionist at 6:30pm only to be told they had been too busy again and that I would either need to call 111 (who referred me in the first place) or call again next week to try to get on the list for Monday. What an absolute disgrace this surgery has become.
