Queen Alexandra Hospital: what do users think?
Gurphylock: The Emergency Care Centre team have been amazing today. Thank you to everyone for taking such good care of my partner.Friendly, calm and professional 😇
Chris Law: I had a fall a couple of weeks ago (Fri May 26th) and went to A&E about 6pm with a suspected broken wrist. The Emergency Care Department staff were absolutely wonderful. Despite being very very busy and run off their feet,  everyone who looked after me - from reception to nurses to doctors and x-ray staff - all were absolutely fantastic.  A special shout out goes to nurses Kerry, Angie and Stacey. Although they were coming to the end of a very busy day, you wouldn't have known as each patient was treated in the same kind, caring, and professional way. They were a credit to our wonderful  NHS. Thank you to them and each and every one of their wonderful team.............I’ve now been referred to the Fracture Clinic and I've met some more fantastic staff who also deserve a shout-out.Firstly, there's there's Jan from the Plaster Room who took my my call just as the department was closing one evening but stayed on to listen to my concerns about my back plaster and gave me lots of very much appreciated reassurance which totally alleviated my worries. Then when I went for my first Fracture Clinic appointment, I met Karen in the Plaster Room who was doing a great job dealing with an already very, very heavy workload of patients. I don't know how she did it, but Karen managed to keep her sense of humour and calm approach even though several of the patients were unnecessarily rude to her and her team because they'd had a wait.Karen was ably assisted by a very competent, encouraging and smiley Emma to replace my back plaster with a full cast.A HUGE thank you goes to all of them. As a patient, it's so reassuring to be looked after by such capable, professional and friendly staff.
Alan Morgan: Its a large hospital.
Jessica DeLude: Not great-- no real following of practice rules for cleanliness for nurses, no one person washed their hands when examining me, only two wore gloves, no wipe down of shared equipment before/after my use, a cleaner used the same paper towel and sink water to wash down common areas. When I dislocated my knee I was made to walk to another area of the hospital alone with no support or aid at all, and evidently emergencies after 9pm were deemed not urgent and the lack of care was shocking. When I was brought in via ambulance and couldn't walk, a doctor made me walk to an exam room and questioned why I couldn't, and dismissed my explanation. Pain management equated to 3 ibuprofen under the guise of observation for effect, but no further interactions were made with me regarding it.The CQC lists this hospital as Green, but the things I've seen should place it well lower than that. The attitudes of most staff were pleasant, but this can't be pinned on understaffing of NHS, it's just a lack of care for basic practices of health and safety for patients.
zeenat jearally: Hi someone can help to fine a home in Queen alexandra hill road please...... thanks is my what's app number ok 👌 +23059092146
Paul Ellis: Some signage to certain wards confusing
Dee Alexis: Appalling A AND E DEPARTMENT. No training in mental health atall. A friend attempted suicide a few days ago, major over dose ambulance rushed her to the hostipal. Toxic overdose, she was in 7 hours no blood tests no treatment . Just seen by a doctor that said suicide is silly and told her to go home. Nurse was very rude to her also, she wasn’t checked upon and let to go home. My friend left and tried sucide straight away . You don’t even want to know the outcome now ! Absolutely disgusted the staff that dealt with her should be ashamed and sickened . She shouldn’t of left that hostipal , without seeing a mental health team. You deserve blood on your hands
Tara Bruno: Looked after my baby on nicu for 53 days and have been amazing! Can’t thank them all!
Brad Hughes: Absolutely appalling level of care, completely unorganised, staff levels are worse than ever, staff attitudes are very poor. It's time to get private health care insurance. The NHS has become a joke...
julio Da Silva: Long wait…however amazing people working here!Very surprised how good the staff are here!
Pj B: Breast services clinic staff and consultant (Dr Lorna) made an otherwise stressful experience very tolerable with obvious professionalism and gentle humour. A tough job at times, I am sure, but they were fabulous.
nicholachadwick1: An excellent hospital. Patients seen and treated in a very timely manner… A tricky delivery with my son was handled very well indeed and always felt extremely safe. After a family members surgery we were impressed with the cleanliness of the hospital and the attentiveness of the staff. Also impressed with the prompt and effective treatment. Thank you so much!
Clare Lyons-Baker: Excellent maternity servicesI transferred care from St Richards and found QA and the Havant community midwifery team, absolutely wonderful! Thank you for everything 💙
Leo Dinnage: staff are overworked and doing their best
Anthony Snook: Very good service
nick woods: Well dur how could you like a hospital
Pompey Smith: Excellent facilities but communication between departments is very poor
Lewis Doherty: Staff are so lovely and friendly thanks for all the help
Jessica Ball: Fabulous team that genuinely care. Thank you :)
Marion Cuthbert: Rather not
Vanessa Raynbird: I had an appointment to visit ENT at Queen Alexandra Hospital today and would like to thank them for an extremely efficient and friendly service. My appointment was for 10.20, I was in with the doctor at 10.30, a scan was carried out 5 mins later and all clear results within 5 mins and back in my car by 11.00. Thank you to all involved, you do a magnificent job.

Aloma M: My dentist is very lovely and professional. However, I'm yet to encounter a well-mannered receptionist at the practise they are very rude and aggressive. Almost as if you're being a bother to them.
Alison Smith: On Friday evening I chipped my front tooth , called the surgery on Monday & was given an appointment for Tuesday .. Went along this morning & saw Mr A Karmali who sorted it out straight away & it looks brilliantCan't thank all the staff here enoughEveryone is so friendly & extremely efficient . I have been a patient here for many years & have always been very impressed
sandra dugan: 25 mins late...2 mins in chair and i am still in pain!!!! Why did Brendan have to leave!!! Certainly not impressed!!!
Fizzy Shaw: Well organised and sorted for Covid security and professional toothcare too. What more could you want?
Anne Robertson: I have been attending this dental surgery for many years and the care has never been less than excellent. Everyone is very friendly and they are doing all they can to make you feel safe in the current situation. I’ve just had a SleepWell device fitted which has stopped about 90% of my snoring issue and improved my quality of sleep enormously. Who knew you could go to a dentist for that? During the process everything was explained step by step with great after care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this surgery.
Graeme Rowe: I called to register my Partner for to private treatment having come from Harvey Street.based on the 5 star reviews. Wow how wrong I was, As we were going through the process the reciptionist became increasingly rude first by accusing me that the postcode I gave is not the address I live at ! Then as we went through clearly she was not listening.as I had to correct her a few times. In the end I just told her not to bother as her attitude stunk. I then called back to speak to the practise manager only to be told she was ! Wow very bad .Disgusting . Hope the dentist reads this.....
Jon Humphreys: Brilliant staff who go the extra mile for you. Have been with this dental surgery for a few years now and the dentists here are second to none, great treatment and advice with the ability to help you relax if your nervous.
Abe: Very nice staff when i visit, just got 4 teeth removed recently and it was painless.
enrico wingfield: A very quick and efficient removal of a wisdom tooth that was causing me pain. Over in minutes and painless!
tracey benjamin: Had a tooth out this week by Rebecca and Irina. Unfortunately, passed out a couple of times due to my own phobia of the dentist. However, I would like to say abig thank you to Rebecca, Irina and the two lovely ladies on reception (didn't catch their names) who looked after me. Nothing was too much trouble !!! Promise not to come back for a while plus I am apologising to all the patient's who were waiting. THANKS AGAIN XX
el boogie: Been putting off a wisdom tooth extraction for years, had the worst weekend in pain. Called in today 840am no issue booked me in for 1400, really helpful and understanding over the phone. Arrived 10 minutes early checked in sat down, waited roughly 8 minutes was taken to see dentist. Very sympathetic about the situation dealt with me really well I get nervous, was driving off a happy bunny by 1430 can't ask for much more than that. Thanks Aaron
Stephen Robinson: Been coming here since 1976. The building has changed but the care has not. Cannot think of going anywhere else. All the family come here. Great with children.
Allen Jennings: I've had to have alot of dental work done recently (wisdom teeth etc) and was pleasantly surprised by the gentle and calming nature of the work that was done and explanations throughout the procedures. Was fitted in with 30mins notice for urgent work and appreciated the effort reception and dental staff went through to sort me out.

penny Andrews: All treatment options and estimated costs were explained fully not put under any pressure and I was put at ease all staff were really friendly.

Hemin Ibo: Very professional and very caring.Friendly dentist with a lot of experience.Highly recommended💐❤️
Jan Collins: I needed treatment on a particular day, and they went out of their way to accommodate me. Especially Alison and Marchello. Thank you both.
Chris Brown: Superb service on time and painless
Davide Sanzullo: Great service, friendly staff and state of the art facilities. Booking the procedure online was incredibly quick and easy: one of the few practices with solid digital services! Highly recommended.
Wendy Dockree: I have been going to this practice for many years, I was anxious when murphey's retired.. Clarendon Dental are a small team and from the moment you go in the receptionists are very attentive and supportive and have that all important time for you.. Once your on the dentists chair, it's the same my dentist is Laura such a incredible dentist she keeps you Informed through your treatment. I definitely recommend Clarendon Dental to everyone.
Paul Lee: SPLENDID
Andy Day: Another good visit to Clarendon dental.Efficient and professional staff ensures a non painful experience
Svetlio Popgeorgiev: Was greated by what seemed like a pretentious receptionist who seated me in the waiting room and shortly after handed me a welcome envelope with a bit more info about my dentist and the practice. Later on I figured out she wasn't pretentious and just simply very friendly. The nurse called me at 10:50 which was exactly when my appointment was.Now is the time to mention that the Dental practice has done an excellent job at selecting a knowledgeable yet very inclusive team. It might sound weird but as a member of society with foreign background I find these "tiny" detail of great importance to me. The dentist I met is Chiara Buic from Croatia who was significantly better than my former dentist Chester Noble (don't let the surname fool you). After several x-rays Chiara came to the conclusion my impacted wisdom tooth is far too close to the nerve and is best left to a surgeon with more experience in the matter. I, like everyone else, hate hearing "No" as an answer but I happen to be intelligent enough to understand that a part of excellence and care for patients involves knowing when it's time to pass the job to a specialist that can do it. Being lucky enough to have worked with Polish people who I adore to this day, I was very excited to find out Chiara is passing the case to a Polish surgeon. The Dental practice is very clean, tidy, and the equipment is definitely not from the 90's Pop song.Currently on large quantity of paracetamol trying to survive the growing pain in the wisdom tooth area, awaiting a response from Zaneta.I'm very tempted to remove a star 🌟 for including a membership plan leaflet into a welcome letter but I won't do it.
Valerie Marshall: Highly professional and caring , Nicole hygienist is a breath of fresh air.She and her trusted dental nurse are always so thoughtful when things get a little difficult.Never worry about my visit as they always put me at ease.
Dawn Giel: Wonderful dentist the most painless appointment I have ever had a dentist. Excellent work very pleased,. Would definitely recommend this dentist.
Danny Edwards: After being refused emergency treatment by my own dentist due to very dubious circumstances I found the treatment I received by the staff at Clarendon to be exemplary. All my options were explained in detail, and everyone was so friendly.
Sally Hardwick: Wonderful, sensitive and caring experience from start to finish.
Patricia Gordon: Very friendly professional staff who are happy to discuss any issues with you.
Keith Hammond: Fantastic, care, treatment and advice, will now be using them always
Rachel Colvin: Lovely surgery, Alison always makes me feel welcome when I arrive and my hygienist takes as much pride in my teeth as I do! 😀
