Jessica Courtney: Went to an event here, was very happy and had a great time.I have also been in just to use the cafe. The cafe is nice, not too expensive and was very clean.I did find the inside a little hard to navigate and got a little bit lost in there though!
Shaun Lane: Impressive
NINO 79: Went to comic con.... more of a comic mart then a convention tbh....you will see everything within 2 hours which isn't much .... staff were pretty rude... no facilities to even sit down out of the sun....overpriced food as usual..... maybe good for kids but adults will be bored
Branden: Historic building used as a music venue.
Lillian Little: Very good place. Seats a bit uncomfortable but otherwise fine.
sandy aspland: Nice and central for shows etc, bit shabby inside, not a lot of leg room, so quite crammed... Security staff over zealous and look quite severe, telling people off for videoing last night's show...

New Theatre Royal: what do users think?
Steve Chorley: A truly beautiful, small, old theatre, full of character, great leg room and views. This is my first time visiting the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth, but it most definitely won't be my last. The style of the theatre fitted in beautifully with the Tiger Lilies ethos. Will be searching out the New Theatre Royal's website regularly to find any other suitable reasons to visit.
gost 9792: Went to see Laura (knee deep in life) who was amazing, my face hurt so much from laughing, we got the last tickets so were upstairs behind a post which was fine, disappointed the seats had no backs but it was fine, beautiful place, great staff, very friendly and helpful and plenty of them.
Pauline Baker: Staff didn't seem to know where we were sitting - after showing our tickets - or when we could go to our seats! So extra stairs for two seventyplus ladies!!! Not a good start for our first visit to New Theatre Royal!
Julie Allen: We bought tickets to see "Knee Deep in Life" but my friend fractured her spine in an accident the month before. We didn't think we could attend the event as the seats up the top were benches, so I called the premises and spoke with Karen to see if they could resell the tickets.Karen was an absolute star. Karen took my details stating she would move us if the appropriate seats became available nearer the time. A couple of days before the event Karen called to say she had moved us to better seating that would help our friend to be able to join us at the show...and an awesome show it was.Thank you Karen for what you did. Sorry if we embarrassed you with the thank you card and flowers but you deserved it. We can't thank you enough.Thank you also to the entire team. You were all so helpful. Xx.
Vie Portland: We've only been to the theatre a few times but, every time, it's been great. The seats we had yesterday had lots of leg room (Stalls, row F), which meant we were more comfortable than at some other theatres. The theatre is beautiful, with so many ornamental features to look at.And the staff are lovely! Not just polite but chatty, too, which I like.
Craig Bryant: Lovely theatre
Travel Queen: Small gorgeous little venue. Really friendly staff. We need to look to after our theatres and I will be returning.
Simon Reed: Lovely small theatre, friendly staff and nearby parking !
Stuart Gross: The venue is tired but the show was good...Simon & Garfunkel Story
Sandra Crawford: Lovely, comfy and plenty of leg room. Never sat in a bad place for seeing stage. Only thing I find difficult is lack of space on bottom bar and entrance.
Deborah Foster: Seats could do with renewing as I found them uncomfortable
Sharon Roberts: Been three time recently. Loved all the shows.
David Holland: Like going back in time. A good experience
Susan Harriss: Saw Royal Marines Band of Collingwood! BRILLIANT Staff very friendly n helpful n seats comfortable 👍
Mark Lane: Great venue super intimate setting, loved it.
Adam Frost: Great little theatre.
Michelle Stevens: Beautiful theatre, super staff, loved our visit
Paul Murray: Great little theatre, drinks available, friendly, helpful staff.
Jed4ManCity: Lovely little theatre with lots of food/ drink options before your show inside and out. Needs some TLC in parts. My daughter lived Twirlywoos!
Ray Keyte: Brilliant atmosphere
Denise Dobbie: A very nice place and friendly staff and show.

The Wedgewood Rooms: what do users think?
Jack Welstead: A small intimate venue with great staff and bars.
Sam: I haven't been in a long while but I have been to music shows and comedy shows at The Wedge. Always had an incredible time!
Lif: Seen a few bands here always like this venue, also being vertically challenged I am not always able to see but no probs here!. Seen Lottery Winners and Sean McGowan recently brilliant nights both of them and really good atmosphere. Had take home plastic reuse cups..Great eco idea.
Matt: groovy
Chloe Austin: Great place, awesome atmosphere! Really cosy rooms. There's one main room with a main stage, and then a smaller room for smaller acts off to the side through where the additional bar signs are and it's such a cool room..Went there for the golden touch festival and they organised it all really well, even air conditioned so it only got warm when there was double the original capacity in the room. Great sound and great bar! Would definitely go here again for gigs!.Just be sure to plan parking ahead of time because there is no onsite parking, I used the JustPark app to park and that worked well for me.
Dave Jo: If you love love music this venue is incredible, it makes a nice change to the generic clubs!
Nick Smith: Funny. If you go on a comedy night. Fun if it's music.
Paul Blackburn: Attended to see Mike Peters doing an Alarm acoustic set. It's a perfect small venue with the bar tucked off to one side. Wherever you are you are not far from the stage. It was seated which for me is a shame as I think people get more involved standing - but the fans are of a certain age so I completely understand that this makes the gig accessible. Bar staff helpful and polite. Door and security.Mike just gets better and better - stunning gig, non stop and full of energy. Consulate performer...
jacqueline mitrovic: I love the Wedgewood rooms it's is a fabulous venue with great sound and friendly team. Grassroots Music at its best 🎵🎶🎼
Seajay73: Basic spit & sawdust music venue.Great staff and atmosphere. Good choice of drinks and no frills!
Matt Finnemore: Great venue for live music, like the in-out bar system for busy times
Perry Powell: Love this venue for live music. Up close with a great atmosphere 👌
Josh Morris: 👍👍
David Hughes: Great nights always
Andy Cliff: Great place, saw Turin Brakes excellent band , sound was really good too.
Emma Boakes: Such a brilliant venue. Big enough to get a decent size crowd, but small enough that you always feel you're right at the front and in the thick of it. Amazingly friendly staff. I always have a great night here
Steve Callaghan (inventingsteve): It's a good venue with lots of local bands, parking can be a nightmare if you're not familiar with the surrounding streets and various permit restrictions in place. 2 bars, Reasonable prices. One thing to watch for, once you're in then don't go back out - it's policy not to let anyone back in once they've left, stops people leaving to take drugs I suppose. That said they have a strictly enforced no drugs policy and you may be searched. Oh and you can't take food or drink in. It's a bit dark and a bit shabby, but it's got a good vibe and it's all about the music. If you're looking for a nightclub, this isn't what you want. If you're looking for a pub, this isn't what you want.
Rich Boakes: A truly great small venue. A stage with easy street-level access, with two small and efficient bars. Writing about the venue is pointless - it is what it enables that matters. For this, five stars. Don't just listen to stuff, go, join the artists in a room and be part of the performance.
Claire Golding: Amazing venue!
Steve Watts: Great sound as always
Stephen White: It's always great. First time visiting since covid, good improvements to bar and main hall.

Paul Kendall: The Museum was amazing, I visited as a small child of about 8-9yrs with school and couldn't see much as water spray. Now you can see so much more and they have loads of interesting information on the crew & artifacts recovered. With plenty of things for all ages children have activities to help them learn and stay interested that include dressing up.The Museum has excellent access for those with disabilities and should be applauded for this and the great staff! My Dad was taken ill while inside and the staff were very helpful and couldn't have done any more to help without being asked.Only thing I would change is labeling of the guns on the side as you pass down the side of the ship would have been nice if they had the guns name and details of range and uses(they did have a display later with small amount of info but might be nice to have the information earlier.

Bernie Clarke-Lens: We popped into see the new 4D Dive experience as it was not open on our last visit, before visiting HMS Victory. It was brilliant!! What a great experience for everyone. We saw her being brought up from the shore live, but this view from underwater was amazing. It really makes you appreciate what an achievement it was. Highly recommended

Lee Parris: Well designed and multi dimensional informative exhibition. Of great.educational value which in addition to the history of the Mary Rose also provided valuable insights to the lives and history of all the varied persons who were engaged in the fabric of her history. And then to learn of the African man who played a significant role in the immediate search and salvage operation after her sinking was an encouraging revelation about 15th century England.
Howard Thomas: An absolutely wonderful exhibition of items and hull fron the Mary Rose. It is amazing to see so many items that have been preserved under water for 400 years. We'll with a visit: leave plenty of time to spend getting to know about the people whos remains were entombedthere for so long.

Portsmouth Cathedral: what do users think?
Jan Taylor: Beautiful cathedral. Very helpful person welcomed us.Visited on Weekend Wait time 10–30 min Reservation recommended Not sure …More
360Tour Guide: A wonderful building with a tasteful mix of old and new architecture. Large space open used for exhibitions and concerts. The Cathedral Church of St Thomas of Canterbury to give it its full name, began its life as a Chapel in 1188, dedicated to the honour of St Thomas of Canterbury. The Chapel became a church with a fascinating history including an expansion of the original structure. The Church was became a temporary Cathedral from 1927 and plans to extend the church were put into place. By WW2 The church was granted full Cathedral status, but the building work stopped finally being completed in 1991.

Andy Cole: Beautiful building.
Kay FJ: My parents got married here in 1950, so I have a particular affection for it, but they also often have great art exhibitions here. There wasn't one when we popped in following lunch in Old Portsmouth, but it was still nice to wander around in the peaceful atmosphere.
Tom Kennar: A highly unusual Cathedral, having been adapted from a parish church when Portsmouth became a separate Diocese in the 1920s. Soaring acoustics and a first class organ give beautiful assistance to the excellent choirs. As the 'Cathedral of the Sea' the building is well worth a visit for it's many sea-themed features, including the grave of the unknown sailor from the Mary Rose. Free to enter (donations welcome), it's a 'must visit' for anyone exploring the sea walls of Old Portsmouth.
Barbora: Beautiful place full of history. Amazing personnel, events happening regularly. Restrooms also available if needed.
Antoinette Wood: ...a beautiful cathedral...everyone appears to work very hard...to make visitors welcome...
Anthony Ward: Lovely lady greets you nice building
Daniel Funnell Funnell: The Cathedral has architectral styles where there is a welcome and history of the church^s beginnings with guided tours and events and sevices. Old Portsmouth is worth a visit.
Will Bartlam: A must see for residents and holidaymakers
Yaroslav Naglya: Very interesting cathedral. It grows during ages. Beautiful organ. Golden ship is unusual on the top
Chris Rogers: This was my first, brief visit to Portsmouth Cathedral, on a Saturday morning in February. I parked my car on the crescent opposite the cathedral, free for one hour and plenty of spaces. The cathedral staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. No ticket office to extract money from visitors as in some cathedrals, just a box for donations at the door. Excellent cathedral shop. As for the building and memorials, it's a mixture of old and new, the old being seriously old. The whole place was immaculate. Next time I visit I'll try to attend a service. I'd say they're doing everything right as both an historical attraction and a house of worship.
David Mellish: A very nice peaceful place in Old Portsmouth
Judith Richens: it was very cold in there and we all found the staff unfriendly
Chris Farnham: Amazing place
Michael Dawes: A fascinating building, a lot of history under one roof
Stefano: Great tour organized by the church.
