Zachary Ajoudani: however there are options for chips or salad. The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. The portion size was large and takeaway boxes and bag are provided for leftovers. We sat inside which provided a good atmosphere and dining experience, previously i sat outside where you can order shish pipes in a variety of flavours and a corkage charge for bringing your own drinks, the garden is covered and has heaters to keep you warm
Ravi Thyagarajan: Leilamezze has had a facelift in the last year and it looks lovely. We have been there a few times now. During summer the outdoors can get busy. It is often quiet indoors. The people up front are always welcoming and polite. Service is swift and food arrives much quicker than you expect. Both the cold meze and hot meze are good. Hummus kavurma being our favourite as the meat is tender and the hummus is so creamy. They mixed grill with a right amount of salad along with the sumac kissed fries are all delightful. We also love their mint tea. Overall it has become one of our family's favourite spot. Tasty food that is good value for money. Remember though they don't serve alcohol however you can BYO.

zane cohen: Wow…. Loved this restaurant. The decor and the friendly staff. Looks to be a family run business. Great food and super service. We had calamari and halloumi staters and mixed grill as well as lamb chops and other chicken dishes. Food was well prepared and well presented. Sarah Caldwell: There is a nice range of vegetarian food but unfortunately only one dessert for vegetarians. The service was ok and friendly. Our table was situated by the door, every time someone opened the door, cold air came in. One customer waiting outside kept opening the door to talk to the waitress, he did this several times, very annoying when trying to keep food warm.
Paint Works: Must say, the first time my self and friends visited this restaurant, as a Persian my self I know a good kebab and meat when I see one..this restaurant did not disappoint!!The service was great as well. I will definitely recommend and return.

Somehow, this little restaurant in Portsmouth is possibly the best Med food we’ve ever had.Restaurant was packed from opening time so the local community clearly recognise how good it is too. We had a mixed meze to start and a mix of kebab / Pirzola / vegetarian / yoghurt mains. All were delicious.

Lloyd Emery: To say this is an excellent restaurant is an understatement. It's one of the best restaurants in terms of food and atmosphere I've been in. The food is of such high quality and in turn taste produced to a high standard time after time. For me it's our go to place to eat when we really need a good slap up meal.The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. They offer some authentic Portuguese dishes alongside an extensive menu containing a dish for all tastes. The portions are large without being off-putting. Absolutely Glorious.Excellent service friendly staff from Manager to waitress to even the Chef coming out & asking about how was your food. Trust me alot of places could learn a lesson from the whole experience here at Algraves.Starters were great hot & Excellent size portions. Biggest chicken wings apart from being abroad I've ever had.The main? Well Algraves Special Paella. This was enough for four people. Mussels / crevettes/ chicken/ half a lobster / chirozo in exceptionally tasty typical rice saffron flavours. Second main ,Half a lobster again & steak cooked perfectly.Desserts as if there was room . A classic take on Banoffee pie. Large waffle ice cream caramel syrup & cooked Bananas. Then the classic Portuguese Chocolate cake. Full of flavour. Then on the house two lovely shots of Portuguese port. From the Staff.My only complaint is to staff. Food is priced too cheap. Miaoune 03: Fantastic produces, amazing fresh fruits and vegetables, watermelons are enormous, sometimes 2 or 3 times bigger than normal supermarkets, I couldn't believe it! Good value for money, they have all kinds of unusual foods, from honey, to halva, to french sugar cubes, to big glass jars of black or green olives, their naan bread is delicious and 2, 3 times bigger than other places, this is definitely my favourite shop in this street! Definitely recommend, and the staff is so incredibly nice and helpful 😀
