Pets at Home Portsmouth: what do users think?
Antonia Overend: Has plenty of stuff for your pets here would not recommend buying fish here
Steven Leaflet Distribution: Nice
Glenis Hunt: Always a pleasure because the staff are always helpful and friendly.
Debbie Billings: Always a friendly welcome
Esme Gibbs: Excellent personal service. Been shopping there for years. Love it.
Connor L-C: Nice shop, went to the vet here to have my snake seen to and, although they didn't have someone that specialises in snakes, there was someone that did have an interest and owned some snakes - The man was very informative and helpful. Manny has started eating and is healthy and happy again.
Pamela Stocks: Staff are especially friendly and helpful here.
Frazer Campbell: Excellent service
Heather Teversham: Friendly staff and helpful and good choice of pet products and food
Stephen Timson: Friendly and very helpful staff
Anda Solea: As a new pet owner, I've checked several companies for the products I need for my kittens. Pets at Home have by far the most competitive prices. Things like toys are expensive, but cat furniture/cat trees are a great price if you get them on sale. Large selection, I still need to decide whether the food at other stores is better priced. This particular store was ok, stock was ok, some items we wanted were sold out. One thing I found pretty bad was that several items on display were dirty (a cat bed looked like it had vomit on it, the cat mats were slimy, etc.) I'm assuming this is from other pets/dogs visiting the store but I think the dirty products should be removed. Make sure to double-check your items for cleanliness. The store is also hard to reach it by public transport. The staff were really nice and helpful.
Billy Barrett: Good for dog items like treats and little things but most times I’ve looked all their insects are mostly dead and boxes look very empty compared to other pet shops
Jan Brown: Absolutely amazing service for my new kitten..set up my app...showed me all the vouchers...saved me a lot of money and expert reassuring advice xxx
Richie Sheath: Staff always friendly and attentive. Car park makes pick up easy. Get everything you need for pet care. Located near to Ocean Park.
ann barnden: Staff very friendly and helpful will go back
Tilly Newton: Helpful staff
Karlene Ratcliffe (Kzooiow-Fry): Kids did the my pet pals Easter event. Really good.
mark fisher: Nice people very friendly
rachel clark: Awesome place really helpful staff
Lesley Flight: Always find what I need staff brilliant
Karyn Bartholomew: Visit to the vets great nicexsrarff

Conor Joyce: Everything you basically need in here nice staff
David Brown: Great ! Experience
Slim Jim: We got a rescue dog eighteen months ago and made the mistake of buying a lead, poo bags and some raw food from our nearest Pets at Home (until I noticed Pet Price one day, as I was driving home along the Albert Road). I decided to pop my head in and check their prices, and was shocked to find this little shop was cheaper than the big chain. And they're always helpful, and seem to know what they're talking about, so I'm now a loyal customer, with a loyalty card that gives me a tenner off after every ten purchases of a tenner or more 😀
Quay Ten: Having frequented the larger pet stores for 12 months, someone recommend this place, great find, small but stocked with everything you need, better yet really nice staff and even a loyalty scheme. Extra benefit of shopping with local Independant. Won’t go anywhere else now for all our massive dogs needs :)
Francesca Heaps: Very friendly owner and well stocked shop. Bit pricier than the big stores but worth it to shop independent and get amazing service
Lord_Nub: Great store, loads of stock for all kinds of animals, from snakes, to dogs.On top of this, the guy who runs the store is very friendly and helpful, I would definitly recommend going here next time you need some pet supplies. 👍
Julia Holt: Great independent pet shop with excellent range of products for reptiles.
Brina Austin-Whittle: Amazing customer service and makes you want to go back the only pet shop I use
Graham Dickie: Lovely local pet shop run by great team, always helpful, friendly and remember you from day one. All ways good for all pets and of course my bearded dragon
Tabitha Gould: Everything you need from lovely local independent :)
Maria Benton: Best pet shop! Always so helpful and has everything we need for our 3 little pups.
Geraint Kozel: Very friendly staff, if you take your dog they get a treat and a fuss
Nigel Gainford: Small shop but well stocked
M Knight: I am really happy with this well stocked pet shop and I really appreciate the good advice, late opening evenings and delivery service. Thank you
Issy: I have always found great products for my pet rodents in this store. However, since buying their large pack of shredded recycled paper bedding, my 3 rats have developed a mite/louse infestation, which I now have to go through extensive cleaning and treatment for them to recover from them. My boys are all elderly and two have chronic respiratory infections, so this has been a highly stressful experience.
Jon Vick: Very helpful staff and wonderful range of products in this local pet shop.
Amy Barker: Always super helpful and friendly ☺️
Angel Ruby: A massive thankyou to the guys in this shop who offered me support when my dog had a huge tick on his ear. I went to buy a muzzle & tick remover but I was so panicked by having to do it myself they offered to assist. They gave me some calming spray to put on my dogs collar & once I removed the tick some antiseptic spray plus treats for my poor dog. And I was only charged for the tick remover tool. I can’t thank them enough, I am so grateful that I didn’t have to do it on my own. What absolute gents!!!
Sarah Thomas: We loved the items we brought for our Cats
Neville Snowdon: Great local shop !!

Pets at Home Waterlooville: what do users think?
Anthony Watson: Staff were very very helpful, was actually impressed with their assistance and knowledge. Great store, well worth a visit if you have pets.
Steve Clifford: Friendly knowledgeable staff, good disabled access, cat department, groomers and vet upstairs (there is a lift)
John Hewitt: Good
James McGrath: People here are lovely, they always make a fuss of our dogs. We come here a lot to get our bits and always seem to have everything we want
Steve Mandy Davis: I'm not a fan of loyalty cards but with 10% off as a new customer and then a further 10% off for a new kitten it was too good an offer to ignore. Plus I believe there are on going offers for food and vet fees. Easy parking close by, handy when you just bought a large bag of cat litter.
Julie Greig: Great service for my order pick up.
Daniel Ceiley: Staff are lovely but their systems are so disorganised. Items always out of stock, click-and-collect orders with incorrect items, deliveries being wrong, it's just a shambles! I feel awful for the nice people who work there because they must spend their whole time apologising for errors that aren't their fault!I go there for convenience but they need to pull themselves together, as a company.
Bryony Collett: Took my mog to the vets, she was treated and is much better now thankyou. The staff in the store are also very friendly, nice and knowledgeable.
Eddie Allsopp: Always friendly staff and very helpful.
Millie Harkness: Used the groomers and they cut our dogs skin multiple times and never told us. We are very dissapointed. The groomers didnt even appoligise and said that we were bad dog owners ! Dolly ( Dog ) has not been since. Dolly went in with large matting because she was a rescue and they worked around the matting even after they said she would go back with no matting .never going back
Caroline Priscott: The place to go for all you pets' needs
Tracey Pitter: We love going to pets at home , a great selection of toys bedding and pet food for our dogs. Shop staff are always helpful and friendly
Mia Jade Andre: My mum took her terrier cross for a groom here and we were absolutely disgusted with the result. It was very uneven looked liked her hair had been hacked off. Will not be taking her again
Shane Mansfield: Same as all other Pets at home
Ohleah 91: Called to ask if pets at home do capstar still for dogs flea treatment, was told it wasn't stocked but I found it on the shelf. However the rest of the shop is fab and the staff
alan featherstone: Staff was helpful
Pat Harding: Staff friendly and helpful
Sylvia Lockrose: Huge range of dog food with sales offers. Helpful male staff member kindly carried heavy wildbird feed purchase to the car for me.
Sarah Arnold: Doesn't have a good variety or enough in stocks puppy food
Rebecca W: Friendly staff, cute animals. Things inside are pricey but they sell things you need for your pets. Also has a vets upstairs.
Mavis Lane Elliott: Lovely staff

Blue Cross rehoming centre, Southampton: what do users think?
Daniel Hawthorne: It very had to rescue an animal. I have a loving home and am more then willing to go through cheacks but you can't even get your foot in the door. Such a shame as now I will be looking for a puppy
Gary Langdon: Not at all helpful.
adam tune: Lovely staff always happy to help
Sidney Puppier: I'm finding the process of adopting (rabbit) frustrating and long via the website. Firstly, there is no search criteria to find specifics (other than different species categories) such as age/gender/outside/inside/breed etc (I'm after an older rabbit pref not mini) and although I'm on the Southampton page (or at least I think I am because it asked me which is my nearest centre) it is showing me rabbits from all over the country. I may have to start trawling the pet ad sites....
Mary Thomas: Helpful.
Brian Marshall: Great place and staff was excellent
pauline brewer: We had a gorg. eous cat who was 8 years old. We had whizzing for a further 8 years. Missed him terribly but gave us a lot of laughter
Caroline Owen: When I adopted from Blue Cross in summer 2021, the initial enquiry was conducted online. I received a phone call to discuss my application, (one of my cats had passed away & my other cat missed her buddy -she even chose her new companion x). We had online and video checks, where I showed Blue Cross the room set up, where will she will be settling in, and the rest of my home & garden, plus my existing cat & her temperment. We discussed her circumstance for coming into rehoming (absolutely no fault of her own) and how this may affect her behaviour going forward.Once my application was accepted we arranged a date where I collected my new adoptee :) This all went very well, the only hiccup was the traffic coming home as the A303 was closed due to an accident- which tbh was out of anyone's control. Although I had a cd of relaxing cat music playing in the car for the whole journey home, which I believe helped us bond, neither of us were stressed by the hold up, it was just very very long.I followed the guidance on introducting adult cats & within 6 weeks both my cats were grooming each other :) They snuggle & play together and my exisiting cat (then 8yrs) has introduced my new cat (then aged 14yrs) to the wonders of my garden, as she had only ever been a house cat previously. I would highly recommend Blue Cross if you are looking to adopt, I especially like the way you can search for your adoptee, by age, sex and things like 'may be able to live with another cat' & rhings like manual access etc. I would highly recommend Blue Cross. They also have a grieving service and behaviour advisors should it ever be needed.
susan vine: Unfortunately unable at this time to re-home but have them on a waiting list and gave helpful input
Simon Rowe: Impossible to get answer on the phone. Place closed during its designated walk up time with no warning in the phone message or website - be wary about traveling too far to visit without managing to speak to a human
Sue Nicholas: Due to family circumstances we have to remove our dog. On visit to have him assessed the member of staff was very helpful
Roxána Horváth: On the website 10am- 16:00pm. But here is 14:00pm-16:00pm ☹️😡
Ann Marie Braybrook: Really helpful staff, gave lots of guidance throughout the rehoming process.Special thanks to Shaun for making us aware of Dotty.
Simon J: Love looking for dogs as I have one from there, always interested in the creative descriptions the give the dogs!
Chris Gay: Brilliant
Joanne Rowe: Phone never answered, messages left but never returned, centre closed during the 2 hours when it's supposed to be open (without staying on their phone message or in their website). Not sure what else a prospective adopter can do!
Adam Jones: Nice staff lovely pets. Helped us a lot even when the cat we wanted was under the wrong name they helped us find the right cat 🐈
debbie gott: No response
Nyron Caddick: Am a volunteer driver for these they do an excellent service and job.
Sally Thomson: Just wish they had a dog for me
Christopher Hickman: So clean and staff are so helpful.

One of the lads helped me download the Pets at Home app and added my details in it for me and another one carried the pet cage to my car - he wouldn’t even consider letting me do it.
