St Mary's Sexual Health Service: what do users think?
Cassie Smith: I mean, 1.5hours on the phone and still not got an answer?! Online advice is NOT helping me, so no idea what to do
Karen White: Braillant star helpful kind
PickledSakura: Lovely, informative and helpful staff - easy to book online. The nurse was a laugh and I had a really good experience.
Carmelo Rossitto: I visited this department twice a few months ago in order to help a patient who cannot speak English. The receptionists and the nurses are very kind, helpful and friendly. They provided an excellent service and also helped the patient. It was a great pleasure to help them communicate with the patient. The waiting room has a TV and plenty of seats. It is also well light and heated. It was a memorable experience. I hope I will have the opportunity to help the medical staff of this department again.
Sue Woodhouse: Impossible to access! I want to do the decent thing and re arrange/ cancel an appointment, not just no show. Feel terrible. Not user friendly at all
Edith Ray: terrible.
simone: Not easy to get an appointment, but when I got it was really good .
Megan Eastwood: Honestly have a better chance getting a ticket for Taylor Swifts next tour , than an appointment with this place. Obviously so high in demand the receptionists can’t even answer the calls that have been in the queue for hours. Impossible to get an appointment whether you’re calling or online. Been on the phone twice for 2 hours each time to be hung up on by the receptionists both times. Honestly makes you think what you’re even queueing for if you’re hung up on as soon as you get to the front. I don’t have the time to do this everyday, nor does anyone else. Genuinely feels like a fight for concert tickets in high demand, just for a 5 minute appointment. If I could rate zero for this place I would.
Lauren White: Tried for a week ringing between 8am-9:30 am EVERY day non stop, kept being told to refresh the page for online appointments which I did EVERYDAY!!!! Still no appointments, how on earth do they expect this online service to work when it doesn’t actually work. It’s quite clear. Absolute joke. There’s no care anymore, no empathy. I’m due for my implant to be renewed and this has got to be the worst year I’ve ever had getting appointments. Staff shortage is not OUR fault and we shouldn’t have to suffer because of this. Hours I’ve wasted all week for absolutely nothing. What a shambles
Anna Wing: I recently left a negative review due to a lack of appointments, but when I called the general area number (Southampton and Portsmouth), they told me that when booking online, you may need to refresh between 8:00 and 9:30, which was slightly frustrating, but when I tried again the next day, I was able to book an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, I was seen quickly, and the nurse during my appointment was very kind; I couldn't fault her. Once the appointment was booked, it was a quick and easy process with friendly staff. So, if anyone reading this review is disappointed because there are no appointments available online, check between 8:00 and 9:30 and you should be able to get one.
phoebe saunders: Amazing service, the staff are so lovely. They take the time to listen to your query’s and give you all of the info you need. Really recommend if you’re thinking of changing your contraception!Thank you to the two ladies who helped me!
Alexander Robbins: Cannot book appointments online, website advises to call at 8am, after a long hold time advised to book online. When I told them there isn't the option just told to keep refreshing the page. Useless.
Chloe Price: Very kind nurses and staff. I wasn't very well, feeling faint and staff helped me and looked after me. Very selfless people. Thank you for everything you do!
Chloe Brown: Had an iud fitted by dr mcinnes, having such issues with pain down there and having such a traumatic experience for my last IUD, it went so well, Dr fully listened to me and went out of her way to make this a painless procedure, also helped referral to help further with initial problem. Eased all my fears and anxiety and has changed my view on IUD insertion for future fittings
Danielle Anderson: Terrible service since the call centre moved to the mainland this is my 4th call just to try and book an appointment to have my implant replaced. They couldnt confirm when my implant ran out as they only have 12 mths of data on file. They said they would email me a month ago with the details and havnt. I'm now on hold trying to get through just to book an appointment. My implant ran out 20 days ago and it's such a hassle just trying to get an appointment... fuming
Kathleen Craig: Got some advice from a lovely nurse that was very friendly and then had a producer which I was nervous about but the nurse and doctor where very nice and made me feel calm and explained the producer without freaking me out. All the staff receptionist, doctors, nurses are lovely and approachable- it also took me one phone call on hold for about 5mins to get through to reception that then booked me for a phonecall appointment within the next week
David B: Shameful service. Advised by GP to book an appointment here. So far been trying to be seen for 4 days and still nowhere closer to being seen. Always promised a call back but still waiting. I ended up calling a clinic in West Sussex and managed to get an appointment in minutes.
Jessica Searle: No answer, on hold for at least over 15 minutes each time i call. Absolutely appalling.
Collins: Advised by my gp to book an appointment here, tried every day for the last 2 weeks and never yet got pass the musak on the phone despite waiting over 45 minutes each day. Idk what to do next.
Sophie Sewell: Waited on hold for over an hour to be told nothing available. Online system apparently also nothing available at 08:05 when they are only released at 08:00 on a number of occasions or sending you miles away!! Joke
Gemma Louise Walker: This service is a joke its only made for people that dont work. The lady said that they cant book any appointments ,only for the same day if you call first thing in the morning. I told them I currently have a issues and im told they cant help. I work in healthcare myself and its not possible for me to call at 8am as im already working.

Bitterne Sexual Health Clinic: what do users think?
dadof war: She made me spunk on her face, not convinced she is a doctor

Gosport Medical Centre: what do users think?
Tracey Asplin: Unhelpful, they won’t book an appointment to see my daughter as they expect me to have time to do e consult via their website!
Matthew Blackmore: Hate giving 1 start, but the receptionists are always unnecessarily rude, and the few times I have gone I have just been fobed off.
CARLO WINGFIELD: I had an appointment at the Gosport Medical Centre for 1510 on Tuesday 21st March . I turned up 25 minutes early and presented the letter I had been sent for my annual review the receptionist seemed confused but I was directed to the first floor to wait for a nurse .What I did not know was that the receptionist had not booked me in despite telling me she had (she later blamed the computer). So I lost my appointment and although they did offer me another one later in the week I declined . This is not the first time I have had trouble with incompetent receptionists .
Lacey: Disgusting. There is no GP service
Bob “Skint” Fastspender: Was very good but is to become part of the Willow group which are not very good at all.
Mary Norman: Absolutely disgusting unable to see a doctor
Elaine Landsbury: I am disgusting with this doctor surgery i get a call staying the have referred me to another surgery for appointment. The day my appointment i turn up and then get told im on system but get told at the surgery my appointment been cancelled and that surgery is only taking ambulance emergency only. I dont even get a call or text message from my surgery informing me that it got cancelled so i look like a idoit their.. you need to inform your patients that their appointment been cancelled!!! Even the lady at reception was confused about it.
Beth Davies: Absolutely cannot stand this practice, everything is done on econsult and it is an awful system that causes patients to have to answer endless amount of questions that don’t relate to them, when you feel unwell it’s the last thing you need. I feel they greatly let patients down. Individuals are lovely but the system they use is NOT patient friendly at all!!!
Colin Neville: Hard Times now in dealing with patients, but I find online connection and explaining your symptoms no problem, no complaints
Iva Dell: I am on immunosuppressive medication and should have a flu vaccine every year. Even though I keep getting reminders to book it, when I contact the surgery I'm told there is no available appointment and to ring back. This time I was told to go to the pharmacy and get it done myselfas there might not be any more appointments available for it.Very upsetting.
Vivi Tamasi: Gp didn't care that I had pain, but this hospital was very nice to me and treated me well. Only 4star because a nurse lady loudly front of everyone asking "GIVE YOUR PEE SAMPLE" and when I quickly stand up to go close to her and say that I do have my blood filled sample from home "OH SO GOT IT WITH YOU". Im autistic (I had my lanyard on my also) I just expected a bit more privacy that's all. Otherwise I was in within 2hour as expected and I totally understand as some lil kids had more bigger issue as mine(poor babies).
Richard Willcocks: Very happy with the service especially when you consider the difficult conditions under which they operate. I've had satisfactory experiences both via eConsult and face-to-face appointments.
Ian. Gosport, Hampshire UK: When it's so easy to moan about the quality of care and service you expect/receive in life then it makes a massive change when you receive quick and professional response what for me was a big problem causing major discomfort and anxiety. Well done to the GMC and the staff that responded to my message. Within 1 hour of sending it, and finishing with a one to one phone call from a Doctor I'm heading to the chemist for my emergency drugs. Thank You to all involved.
Maria Jordan: The whole team at this surgery are absolutely fantastic. The Dr's really do have our best interests at heart and really do care!! Unfortunately, my previous Dr's surgery failed me and half of my problems are from the lack of care they provided to me. Gosport Medical Centre actually do what is best for you... rather than just doing something to shut you up or get rid of you. I literally can't fault their patience, understanding and perseverance. They are non judgemental, and make you feel like your health & wellness is in good hands when you need help. The best decision I ever made was moving to this surgery. The receptionists are so lovely too and make phoning in so much easier. I am currently receiving treatment for an ongoing problem and this surgery have gone above the call of duty to take time out to ensure I'm receiving everything I need. This week will be my last week on my treatment plan and I honestly cannot thank them enough. Had I of had the support from a surgery like this years ago, I feel I would have recovered years ago too. THANK YOU for helping me to build my life back up. You're all amazing and anyone registered at this surgery are very lucky to have you all.
Bill: I feel really let down by Gosport medical centre. The first problem i had was when i tried to put in for a repeat perscription. I was told i had a "Medication review" so wasn't able to get my anti-depressants. I was then told it would take about 8 days until the review. I told the admin that they could not legally stop my medication as i've been on it 8 years. In the end they renewed my perscription ! I couldn't believe i had to argue to get them. I also have been trying to get. PIP and the Doctor was absolutely useless i might as well of asked a big issue seller for help for all the good she did. The last time i renewed my medication it took 3 days and it is usually delivered. So i rang Doctors who told me they'd put it through 3 days ago and it's at the Chemist. I get to the Chemist who told me they'd only just recieved it. I'm now having to change doctors again as i do not trust them.
Robert Forder: I constantly hear horror stories about local GP practices and the difficulty of obtaining medical attention. This is not my experience of the Gosport Medical Centre, its polite and helpful receptionists, cheerful practice nurses and doctors. My wife and I are so grateful we moved away from the Willow Group.
jason redford: Gmc have piut me on 8 zappain a day to be collected daily because of the jubilee I picked up 8 on Monday, Tuesday I was told I had 24 a d to come back Wednesday for 24 to last Wednesday Thursday and Friday I was only given 16 and to go back Saturday ,so in the last 5 Days ,Monday I to Friday I've had 24 Zappain , I have been in pain all day and can't sleep it's 2 in the morning I've had approximately 18 hrs sleep in the last 5 days not to ment before that , I still have to wait 8 days for my face to face appointment to get stronger painkillers which I have asked for namely tramadol ,, last week I had 5 tramadol dated 2017 and explained to the surgery I don't want to be resorting to this irresponsible acrions and explained even the QCC thought the 12 th June for my appointment was quite long bearing in mind I had stated I have been suicidal , it's like they don't believe I will do it ,either way I'm in pain , Eben out on Facebook does anyone have Zappain or tramadol , GMC are definitely not taking into consideration what I'm sayin, stressing and even begged them prior to .onday for a triage appointment
Peter Taylor: Usually excellent!
Freddie Osman: with further times down the line i have been impressed with their help of late. When 1st got put woth the practice i felt i wasnt getting much help an felt let down...6months plus down the line all have been helpful thank god ....Hope it continues
Helen Briant: My husband had his bloods taken by nurse Nicky yesterday. Even though he did pass out. she handled him with great care and sensitivity and made him feel very comfortable. Also reception ladies were very polite and welcoming.
R W: I have not been with Gosport Medical Centre very long, but everybody I have spoken to (Doctors, Nurses and Receptionists ) have always been friendly and helpful.... Thank you.

Southampton Travel Clinic: what do users think?
Owesundra Ayaji: Prices stated online and in the clinic are not the true prices. There is a hidden booking fee which I found out about afterwards. Information from their website is not clear. Prices are significantly higher than other places. Reception nearly charged us double of what we should be paying.
Frank Shotter: I was recommended this clinic by my local surgery. My experience was very positive. I didn't have to wait too long. When the lady took me to the office, it was explained clearly, which vaccines were necessary for my travel and which ones, I didn't need. I was massively impressed by her knowledge. She was very pleasant and helpful. I hardly felt my jab. I would highly recommend this clinic.
Catalina Petre: We had to wait for a little, but the treatment was quick.
terry cooper: Higly recommended for travel and Occupation Health purposes.
Nora Elahcene: The nurse was very gentle and very nice.
Agnieszka Anna K: I can truly reccomend this place. Fantastic service. The nurse who vaccinated our son was very helpfull and patient. Answered my long list of questions and was very professional. I was also very impressed with a high level of a hygiene and effort made to minimise potential Covid infection /spread. They even sanitise handrails after each customer. We felt very safe there.
James Bevan: Excellent quick friendly service would 100% reccomend
Paul Scott: Due to a long waiting time to see my GP, I went private instead with this company, who saw me straight away.My experience was excellent. The nurse briefed me thoroughly on the risks of the African country I'm visiting. She recommended which vaccines I needed, and administered them straight away, and/or showed me how to prepare a 2nd dose of drinkable vaccine for cholera, at home, the following week. She clearly knew her stuff, and I felt comfortable in the hands of an expert.Like most people, I hate injections. The nurse did them so quickly, into my shoulder muscles, that it was over in the blink of an eye, which delighted me (as I was dreading the injections). The whole experience was excellent, and the nurse is very pleasant & knowledgeable. Yes it costs a bit of money, but for me, it was worth it. Recommended.
Andy Roberts: Very polite and fast (painless) service for my yellow fever certificate. Thank you
Will Harrison: I went in yesterday and was very impressed with the service. The nurse explained in great detail what was needed having listened to our medical history. She would have easily been able to sell us products which were unnecessary but instead showed us exactly why we did not need the medicine saving us a lot of money which I was fully prepared to buy. A very reassuring visit and money well spent .
Geena Rayner: As much as it important to take precautions, fear plays a massove part in getting you to get the vaccinations. Nowhere was I told that the one I spent £190 on only worked for 9 out of 10 people and the actual risk was less than 0.1 of a percent. I felt pressured to make the decision then and there. And if I were to have not taken there word and gone away and done my research I wouldnt have spent half as much!
Sarah Macdonald: I'm very nervous with injections and the woman who administered mine was very "no nonsense" and did not pander to me, this sounds bad, but actually made me feel a lot calmer. Make sure you have as much info as you can in relation to your medical history when you arrive as the questioning is quite thorough. The receptionist is wonderful.
Chris: Quite hurried and curt with questioning (as if I’d done something wrong for phoning them) but eventually they were reasonably helpful
Hiran Goonewardena: Were excellent on fitting both me and my new wife in for a last minute vaccination appointment. Nobody else in the area had the vaccine, really grateful to have got the call back! Thanks!
Joshua Tarling: For a place that specialises in yellow fever vaccinations not having any vaccinations for a month is ridiculous. They didnt have any vaccinations yet didn't think to call me to say they'd rearrange. Instead I turned up, filled in paperwork, was called into the nurses room to be told they had no vaccines.Glad I went elsewhere after they didn't give me the jab first time, they kept saying to wait and only emailed me to say I couldn't have a jab in time 2 days before I needed to have it!

Fareham Health Centre: what do users think?
Ian James: Good surgery
redacted: Nice and helpful receptionists. Doctors and nurses are pleasant and care. Doctors here have taken my concerns seriously whereas others before have shrugged them off. The reception team answer the phone promptly and do their best to help you as best they can and as efficiently as possible. I called recently and I was waiting around 5mins (which is really good) and almost as soon as I had finished speaking to the receptionist a paramedic called me. Considering how much primary care is up against it at the moment these guys do a really good job. Also really appreciate the fact they still have e-consult open when Meon do not have the clinical capacity to offer this.
Nadia Tawfik: Friendly reception staff and great Doctors. So glad we moved to this practice.
Velvet Orchid: I have been a member of this surgery for 30 + years and I honestly think they are the most caring, helpful GP surgery I’ve ever been registered with.Yes it’s difficult to get an appointment in terms of a long wait on the phone sometimes and the E consult service can be a little frustrating but they are both minor issues compared with the absolute dedication of the doctors, nurses, secretaries and receptionists who all do their absolute best to provide a great service in very difficult times and circumstances. The most important thing is that these doctors care and listen to their patients and I think that this practice is superb.
Michael Carter: Quick and easy good staff
Olivia Gage: worst service ever, dont answer the phone even if it’s urgent phoned everyday for 6 weeks now and have been on hold and havent been able to get through, do ur job
Chris Street: Friendly staff even though greatly understaffed were still professional
Mark Reynolds: My sister has just spent one hour 50 minutes on the phone, started at number 9 and when she got to number 1 the phone was ringing and she was cut off. Unbelievable!
Emma Monk: Always excellent when dealing with my elderly parents or myself. Yes it will take ages sometimes to have the phone answered because so many people want treatment, but everyone from phlebotomist, nurses, GPs, secretaries and receptionists are calm, patient and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you to them all!
Becky Tamblyn: I can never get through on the phone, when I eventually do get through I am told that all appointments have gone and to try again next week! I have been on hold for almost 30 minutes today ( different call up times). Tried to do an e-consult but it’s not letting you do anything today so I have to try again tomorrow! I don’t have time to sit around waiting to get through to speak to someone. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Why can’t we just get through quickly and see a doctor like we used to? Bring back the on line appointments!
J L Collman: Absolutely terrible. Try getting an appiintment, good luck with that. They can't even get your prescriptions correct. Trying to get through to them on the phone, make some sandwiches because you will have a long wait.If you can find another surgery then I would urge you to do so.
John Haynes: Reasonable health facility.
Vanessa Butler: What a lovely receptionist, patient, friendly and informative.Great conversation and from one call I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
Samantha Oakley: Shocking service . They don't prioritise the elderly , appalling neglect, GP not interested . Had to call an ambulance due to my Elderly mother's uncontrolled pain after 3 weeks of trying to summon help. QA dealt with it immediately , just a shame we all , tax payers, Mum and I had to use a hospital admission when the GP ignored my Mother. How anyone ever gets through to this surgery on the phone I don't know . The male GP with his ever lasting Covid message ........ complete rediculousness .
Nancy Whittle: I have no trouble with them at all. Booking appointments (online consultation), requesting new meds, phone consultation with doctors etc, staff are helpful and polite.
Ben Johnson: Terrible .. Have been awful for a number of years . I've just rang up regards to my prescription and the medication making me feel quite ill to be told sorry all the appointments are taken up this week .. I then tried to explain that this was quite important I needed just to speak to my doctor . The extremely rude receptionist then said 'do an e consult ' I've no idea how to do this and before I could finish my sentence asking she hung up !!!! She didn't listen to a word I was saying and just talked over me . Really is a terrible service and no way to treat by patient .
Tanja Hill: Gone downhill. Holding time never less than 30mins. When you do get through you usually have to call back as they do not release appointmentsuntil a certain day and that is not to see a doctor but to receive a call back. The e-consult is generalised, I presume as there is a questionnaire you have to fill out each time you wish to communicate with the doctors, asking if I have gambling problems, drinking problems, smoking etc... Several times now I have filled an e-consult out and it has not been dealt with and I had yo chase them up. Used to be a good surgery, but disappointing these days. Maybe more staff should be employed. Nothing seems to be managed well.
Linda Evans (Number11interiors): Wrong diagnosis due to no face to face appointments. I was told to look on the internet for physio exercises from canada. I found the wrong ones and 4 months later was in severe pain and was finally given a telephone physio appointment. I was then finally given a face to face physio appointment in January. I first reported the injury in October. Also this surgery made getting fit notes deliberately difficult with a new excuse for every application, eg they do not back date the certificates when they already had, the best one was 'we don't sign fit notes' ......
Andrew Jinman: I comparison with my former GP the service provided is excellent. Whilst it took almost 28 minutes to conclude my phone conversation, including waiting. Sorry to the patients waiting behind me! However, I must thank them in dealing with the problem. My former GP telephone system cut you off after 15 minutes.I have found everyone to be pleasant and competent and our experience has only been first class, once contact is established
Dave Roxburgh: Rude receptionists who think they have been to medical school snd a couple of female quacks, take ages to answer the phone.I would not advise anyone to register here.Absolutely USELESS , you get better while your waiting.
Jane Ewing: Normally have very good service at the practice but absolutely appalling you are not offering your patients a booster vaccination clinic in the current situation
