Janice Hobbs: I met Jo at the Maltings Threads Fair where she talked me through a few "next step" sewing machines. She listened to what I wanted and suggested a few options. Needless to say, I bought a machine and when I collected it today, her lovely daughter Georgie talked me through the basics and answered all my questions. The shop itself is mesmerising with all its creative displays and delicious fabric combinations. Sew Creative also stocks all the important tools and machine accessories for Janome and Brother. Although it is a 40 min drive for me, Sew Creative will be my local fabric shop. I can't wait to join in a few workshops.
M W: Very pleased with my Janome 5060QDC machine, which I bought after attending a 'Quilt in a day' workshop. I had a couple of demos from Jo and Georgie to ensure I remembered how to use the machine correctly and have just finished my first self-designed quilt.
Marian Groves: I have arthritic hands and needed to update my 25 year old sewing machine. I wanted a good ‘all-rounder’ machine for a variety of projects. I made an appointment at the shop and was so well served by Mimi. She understood my needs perfectly, talked me through the options and gave me a hands on tutorial. Nothing was too much trouble. I settled for Janome 5060 QDC. I am delighted with my purchase. No stopping me now!

Hayley West: Second time visiting whilst in the area. Found a couple of pairs I liked and was approached by a male member of staff within minutes asking if I wanted a particular size as he could check in the stock room. He got my requested size in both pairs, I then thought I had to choose as couldnt really justify buying both but then spotted the buy one get one half price sign!! Left the store a very happy lady. Great service and staff
