The studio itself has a nice atmosphere and I felt very comfortable in there. Would definitely reccomend the shop to anyone looking for a tattoo in Devon or even beyond. You can tell he loves what he does and also helped me pick out a beautiful piece of jewellery. Best piercing experience I’ve had!

Heather Hart: for a couple of years now and he has done many piercings for me and downsizes. He allows for an hour time slot for each appointment so you don’t feel rushed and are very well informed. I also have a very low pain tolerance despite my huge love for piercings, but I always feel so welcomed and made to feel comfortable and relaxed. I have over 20 piercings over the years done at different locations and David at Talisman is by far the best I have ever used and I couldn’t recommend anywhere better!

He was even happy to provide some advice and guidance on a piercing I had stupidly and spontaneously had done at another mainstream shop when I was concerned about the placement and healing.I would highly recommend David. I will absolutely return for future piercings I have planned. He is just a generally nice bloke and his passion for his job is evident.As a mother of two daughters, who will one day ask for their ears pierced, I wont trust anyone else to do it. The studio is a relaxed and friendly place.

roxanne cotgreave: Clean tattoo studio, friendly and approachable tattoo artists!JP and the other staff immediately put me at ease from the moment I walked in asking about getting a tattoo to when I left with my completed piece, he made sure I was comfortable, checked I was ok about the placement of my design and that I was ok with the pain level before he got properly stated.He sent me a message the day before reminding me to have breakfast and bring a sugary drink and snack with me on the day and on the day made sure the studio was warm enough after we had had a little break, I was offer a cup of tea/water and a very nice lollipop too once we had got going!He explained aftercare and made it clear that if I had any questions to just message him and he'd be happy to help.I am beyond impressed with Equinox and am already planning my next work of art!

Had one full sleeve so far, and immediately started on my second - I wouldn't go anywhere else. I always get comments on how detailed and precise the dotwork on my sleeve is, and the patience he has to get everything spot on- and yet also not take an age to complete - is incredible.

I got an inner lip tattoo and I went to about 10 different tattoo places around Plymouth and no one had the skill or confidence to be able to do it as it’s different to a regular skin tattoo apparently, but Anthony at Red Crow tattoo was willing to do it and he did a really amazing job! Would highly recommend. All the staff there are incredibly friendly too
