Plymouth Pavilions: what do users think?
Paul Mint: Unable to use cash in the venues bars, so didn't get a drink....the security even searched the baby's changing bag to make sure we didn't bring our own.We got a takeaway later that evening with the money we saved :)
Nicola Relf: Beware: you cannot take in a bottle of water. Security checks take a long time, allow 30 minutes extra. £2 cloakroom charge for prohibited items: water, hairspray, perfume
Sue Nodder: Great night out, watched boyzlife and supporting acts 😊
Lesley Wraight: The show was amazing the staff were very helpful
Gill Silva: Really nice place. Loved it.
Mark Woolacott: Went to see Strictly, the Professionals. The Pavilions staff were fantastic, the place was well organised for such events. We had a great evening.
Christine Allen: Enjoyed the show . Air conditioning was on too much , felt cold.
Steve Parker: Concert was amazing. Venue less so. Positives were the staff and how quickly they got you into the venue, and how speedy the service at the bar was. Negatives were the seating and bar prices. Omg (to both). Never have I ever sat on such uncomfortable seats in my life. The upholstery was threadbare with it having worn completely through in places. Also our section didn't seem to be fixed down properly as everytime one of us got up, the section was rocking back and forwards and not in time with the music! However this couldn't detract from what was an amazing concert to see Mike & The Mechanics!
Sharon Gilbert: Great venue, fabulous staff
Phil Dray: Good venue. Use the priority upgrade for a more relaxed experience. Just don't try and stand up - they tell you off!
Stephen Peak: Good venue
Rob Truscott: Went to see Mike and the Mechanics brilliant show hence 5 stars however Pavillions looking tired and the sound system is poor. However they have replaced all the floor level seating which is a small improvement.
Mark Dare: Great concert
chris tew: Excellent venue loved it
Ralph Harvey: Amazing place
Charmaine Welland: Fab show, but most of all staff were so helpful and friendly
Steve Butler: Very good venue but parking difficult when we went (9th may2023) as carpark was building site
Stephen: Shabby venue is a relic from the past with staff who don't do enough to control drunk, feral audience members who ruin the experience for everyone else.
Harvey Wayne: Not a bad venue and has some good shows. Queuing system for bar takes ages.

THÊ DEPØ VENUE: what do users think?
Jordan Smith: Saw Goddard live brilliant good club just ask what's on offer and then you get drinks cheap to
Paul Green: Split level makes watching a band difficult, if you're by the bar downstairs the sound is awful. On a plus staff and service top notch.
sabrina Louange: Intimate venue
Joanne Martin: Love this venue. Great long and spacious bar area. Nice upstairs outdoor smoking area. Main floor has a good space. Balconys all around. Loads of bar staff on when I attended a gig. Door security nice enough.
Alex Hughes: Always good drum and bass nights at The Depo
Rich C: Great venue. Varied choice of nights. Good door people. The bar staff are very friendly and reasonable prices too. The outdoor part is great for a quick breather. Worth a night out there 💯
zack hatch: The place is nice with good bands, decor and drinks. However, my first visit was very overcrowded with seemingly tons of extra tickets sold, making it difficult to enjoy the event with the limited space and constant pushing.
Kelly Shaw: Went to land of the giants last night, and can hands down say, it was rhe best night out in Plymouth I've had in a very long time. Not once did I feel unsafe. Will definitely be back.
T W: Fantastic establishment, heavy booms, heavy baps and the subwoofer made me lose feeling in me legs. not a place to bring the family however, nan claimed she invented jungle in the smokers and got ridiculed by a sweaty raver x
Tom Hinchliffe: Great 90s hip hop, but poor venue meant I could barely see.
Stu mote: Great live music venue
Becky Wright: Favourite place for a boogie in Plymouth, different genre nights and massive selection of drinks, not to mention the incredible atmosphere and music / lights set up, can’t fault The Depo and can’t recommend enough!
Sonny Martell: Bringing some of the hardest raves to Plymouth. Techno and dnb artists raise hell in here.
Eminent: Hands down best club for underground music in Plymouth
Zowie Rose: Awesome music friendly staffgood vibes from people who go there
Sharon Brock-Spanton: Went to the Depo to watch Bad Manners the venue is pretty small but they do have an upstairs area also so you can watch acts from up there too.
Ian Coulton: Saw Bad Manners last night. Great gig, nice venue. Fortunately was on the balcony. On the ground floor it was mayhem, with crowd out of control pushing and shoving with many people ending up on the floor. Could have been catastrophic, a severe safety issue from an out of control crowd. Not enough security on the night and many people could have got seriously injured.
phil thomas: Good venue. A few more seats for us oldies wouldn't go amiss 😊
Helen Wraight: Incredible atmosphere, epic sound system and insane line up!
Faith Watts: Wouldn’t recommend if you want to get pushed by the stage manager, never been before, and first experience I didn’t know you wasn’t allowed on the stage, I was only dancing and there was no indication of them asking me to get off the stage instead they decided to push me off causing me to do the splits in tight jeans, after math I’ve got bruised thighs and bad back from this! No one wanted to help me (security) not even an apology! Besides that music was really good
Mali: bouncers think they have the right to beat up whoever they want. friends have had traumatic experience, punched and choked by bouncers for no reason. huge men picking on 19 year olds for a power trip and without police involvement, they could’ve been even more seriously injured.

Annabel's Cabaret and Discotheque: what do users think?
Stephen Fields: Good nightclub with a mix of quiet and loud spaces. Live music and polite hardworking staff
tristan bate: Kyle had awesome Service 💪Thanks 🙏
ahmed moaawia: Club was nice .. being there after long working week just to enjoy the music , standing alone away from everyone, 2 girls I didn't know or even talked to them accused me of spiking their drink , bouncer told me to come downstairs and told me they tested the drink and it wasn't spike .. bouncers were really nice .. and I left the place immediately after .... I guess it is very hard for black person to live down the south even if you are minding your own business
Matthew Cleave: Went for a live gig to see the scribes and had a blast. Awesome venue across two floors! Great 2-for-1 cocktail deal that were really yummy. Can't wait to be back
Steven James Chown: Very good
Sally Claire: The best night out in Plymouth!
shirley keeler: Great place had a really good night but left my phone there now cant get hold of anyone till friday
Ted Rowe: I love going here! great music, great prices for drinks and a cool funk atmosphere.
David Saunders: The best club in Plymouth for over 21s. Quality live music, burlesque and a DJ make this a must visit.Always something different going on.Friendly atmosphere and open 'til late at weekendsDavid
Mike Pitches (Mike Pitches Photography): Decent live music to suit a variety of tastes ranging from blues to pop covers, friendly staff, drinks fair price. Attracts clientele of all ages but leans towards 30 somethings upwards hence it's obvious popularity. Door staff fair and friendly.Definitely recommended 😊👍
Daniel Hainsworth: Steve is was an absolute legend! Was so helpful on the door and really made clear who was let in and who wasn’t! Never let him out of your site! Treasure to the agency!Dan
andy evangelou: Great club..great cocktails...great bands...love it love it love it
Mark Griffiths: Could do with more serving staff. Good atmosphere. Drinks usual price for clubs.
Howie Howard: Having been here any times I was amazed to be turned away for wearing sandals (for Health & Safety reasons) despite my girlfriend and girlfriends wearing similar footwear. As s result over 30 people left or didn't attempt to gain entry. Even the doorman looked surprised when l pointed out a handful of girls wearing "less safe' footwear, but 'rules is rules.'Embarrassing.
Thashna W: Was there last night and the place upstairs stank of stale piss!! It was disgusting! Can’t believe I paid to get into your establishment to feel sick 😷. The music was erratic also, DJ, was having an off night perhaps. Hopefully the carpets and sofa will undergo cleaning before opening again to the public. Annabel’s is usually a safe decent enough place to go to on a night out but it’s gone swiftly downhill!!!
Mary Gothins: Only been once and there was a hen party just over from us... not enjoyable. Felt robbed after ordering drinks too
Craig Hamilton: Great place but £2 for a soda water is simply ridiculous not even a slice of lime.
Jon Lee: One of the best clubs without students and chavs. Jazzy and funky music.
Richard Bence: Fun, relaxed venue. Have a wide variety of bands and comedy nights. Two dance floors offer a choice for people with different tastes.
Rob Crocker: A great place for all ages we had an eighties dance floor whilst colleges were on another floor with something a bit more modern.I only found out the following day
Sorrell Thomson-Reece: Great atmosphere great for dancing only problem is that it gets very busy and then it's hard to dance
