Secret “secretspyfrog” spyfrog: My wife and I adopted A lovely cat at Gables. The staff here truly love the animals in their care and are very professional. The conditions are excellent with a well stocked shop too. If you are looking to adopt a cat or dog we strongly recommend Gables.
Angela Elliott: Visited Gables with some donations. Lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for all you work rescuing animals
Lauren Smirk: Such an amazing experience and grateful for our two new babies! The staff are lovely and create such a warm atmosphere.
Ph93: Re-homing was not an option for my old dog yet Deputy Manager Ruth helped made myself realise putting her to sleep was the best option. Didn't feel comfortable at my vets, and yet Ruth organised everything. So much help, support and understanding from Ruth, Filham Valley Vets and the R.S.P.C.A.I cannot thank them enough and currently enjoying the last few days with my dog.
Chris West: We cannot recommend the Gables Dogs and Cats home highly enough. We adopted two beautiful cats, who have been so well cared for. The staff are warm, professional and incredibly helpful. Their care for both the cats, and us, before, during, and after adoption is second to none.
Jake Owen: We adopted a cat from Gables recently and can’t speak highly enough of how the process went. The staff are so friendly, it’s also clear how much they care for their animals. They run thorough checks on you to make sure the animal is going to the right home, which is understandable. The whole process was still less than 2 weeks. They’ve also kept in regular contact to make sure he’s ok, and have always been on hand should we have any concerns
Tina Green: Just collected our trio of little delightful cats, the staff were professional and friendly throughtout. Keep up the good work
Jenny Mullins: . I am over the moon to have this lovely cat at home with me now ❤️. She is so loving, calm and settled, an absolute credit to the love and care that she received from Gables staff.
ThievishNut: I would just like to say thankyou to all the staff and the manager for all there help in my difficult time and need I had to surrender my cat and they made my experience as painless as possible I could not thankyou enough for your time and patience.
Kirstie Boyd: I cant thank Ruth enough for the support she had shown and gave use today when my cousin handed her beloved dog over due to no fault of their own, Ruth supported my cousin every step of the way, I think your all amazing in what you do with the animals and thank you so much I can't thank Ruth enough.
Sue: I have just adopted this beautiful cat, Footie. He was semi-feral when handed over to Gables and they have transformed him in to a loving and affectionate boy. The adoption process was thorough, professional and focused on the future care of Footie.A big thank you to all the wonderful staff at Gables 😻

Keep doing what you are doing all of you … your care is outstanding.
Barry Miles: Great centre very caring great staff do all they can to help and rehome
Paul Waite: The rehoming service that we received from The Gables was first class. From the moment they matched us with our cat until the time we collected her the staff could not have been more helpful. They sent us lots of information to help with setting in and, as we are first time owners, also helped us with choosing the right kit. They had done a great job in looking after our cat in the 4 months she was with them and she came to us in lovely condition. She was chipped, spayed and vaccinated and we were given her medical history. Special thanks to Emily and Briony for their kindness and efficiency - our experience could not have been better. Thank you.

Kieran Cooper: The professionals that will take care of your pet at the worst of times 🙂👍
Chris Clements: Helpful
bobphillips1949: Hammock hideaway
Kim Loveridge: Fab for a good old rumidge. Really good finds to be unearthed. Not a place that should be rushed. Enjoy!
Billy B: Good
Martin Burgess-Moon: There are few miracles in this life. I think the parting of the Red Seas was one. But another was the occasion when I found this shop was open. When you actually get inside make the most of it as they do have a lot of stuff. Curtains, clothes, those free CDs you get in newspapers, etc. The staff are lovely. Oh, and if you go to the newsagents' across the road, say hello to Dave. If he still works there. He's lovely.
