WHSmith: what do users think?
Hannah Wild: This is a large 2 storey store with loads of choice. The store was well stocked and the staff were really helpful when I couldn't find what I was looking for.
Ted Cart: One of the worst stores in plymouth. Tired dated dirty and overpriced with long waits. Never enough staff there are those that are are totally miserable. Avoid.
Jude Price: This particular branch is tired looking and not very well laid out. Some staff members are lethargic and you get the feeling they are not enjoying working there. The staff are few and far between. I waited to be served upstairs but realised the non manned pay desk was just that even though a member of staff walked past and carried on around the corner. I did ask if she could serve me but I was ignored. I went downstairs, joined the queue and was served by a very pleasant lady. Whilst in the queue a customer was very vocally storming out as she couldn't find anyone to help her find something. Oh dear, not just me then! I think the Post Office located on the first floor keeps the shop going though difficult to access for older, disabled and parents/carers with prams.
gloria brown: I didn't buy anything I went to the in-store post office
Rose Bev: The worst post office ! During Christmas one of the incompetent women on the counter wouldn't let me post a tea towel and dress she said you're not allowed to post clothing items abroad. God knows where she made up that one, but it left me frustrated. I don't know what she based this off, the way I look or whatever... another time I asked for pen as I had missed out some details on my package and was told I'd need to purchase a £10 pen and they don't lend anything. And fast forward today early morning, only one person at the counter, she spent an eternity with each person chatting away useless things and taking up everyone's time in the queue. Some people have lives and proper jobs, someone got heated in the crowd and told her to hurry up and where were her colleagues, she said they were all on their breaks. In what world do people have the privilege of taking a break at 9am and Peak hour of the day??? When it was my turn at the counter she proceeded to excessively question me for a small letter being sent inland. No one has time for this nonsense, its a shame its the only post office in the city but this place needs to shut down.
Lord Shauny: The WHSmith and Beureu de change staff are always super friendly. There's a lady at the Post Office counter whose sole purpose in life is to be as unhelpful, unfriendly and as rude as she can possibly be; however, the other lady and the guy are superb every time. The machines are also handy if in a rush.
Mike: Used the post office facility set within the store. Good customer service from buoyant, cheerful, professional staff members. Great service.
Janet Pay: Outside windows disgusting nothing in windows to encourage you in, upstairs no were to sit for the elderly when waiting in queue for 40 minutes when only two staff serving and queue down down to the top of escalator .
GD Buller: Only post office in town
Mark Oldfield: A very good stationers and post office
Matthew Young: I go in this place nearly everyday to use the post office upstairs. Happy helpful friendly staff who provide a great service. Really good location in the centre of town.
Star Stuff: Not a bad store but seen as I'm on the subject of bad, there was one staff member in particular with a bad attitude. I was asked for an exemption card to prove I was exempt from wearing a face mask (they're not allowed to ask to see it either) but I obliged and showed it to her anyway, at which point she muttered "you don't look very ill". I almost ended up in an argument with this woman if I hadn't of walked away, all because I HAD an exemption card! I was pretty shocked at the blatant ignorance from this woman so obviously I put in a complaint, people's attitudes have completely gone to pot the last few months and from the most unlikely of people. Needless to say I won't be going in there again. This is more of a review on one staff member rather than the store itself but the staff make the store. If you want to be in a bad mood then this is the WHSmith for you!
Sofia Vale: Staff was helpful and I had no issue posting my parcels, however it would be nice to have a sign further back (closer to the stairs) for self service otherwise queues are always massive when they don't need to be - last time lots of people waiting and I had to ask around who was going to the counter and who was going to the self service and today it was 08:30 when I arrived and there was already a queue of about 10/12 people and I'm sure half of those wouldn't have any trouble using the self service machines
William Jackson: Staff very friendly and helpful. Plymouth is a GREAT place. I found the people of Plymouth to be very helpful and genuine. Enjoyed my stay there will definitely visit again.
Jean White: There was lots of reduced items mostly stationery but worth checking out.
Anthony Horswell: Massive range of books at good prices
Peter Graham: Good stationery
Jools Green: Well stocked but needs floor staff for queries..
Arkirou Kallis: Good bookshop all rounder.
Gavin JT: It's a shop! Stationary, books, magazines, sweets. If you don't know WHSmith where have you been?
Mi 10: He have anything for library and some snacks

Charles Seale-Hayne Library: what do users think?
Fin Roberts: Had been using the library for years for academic studies, now they would like to charge me 60 pounds to enter the library, far better university libraries out there with better facilities, relative lack of academic book selection & culture inside library is strange- can hear groups watching football games in "study" rooms
TAIWO BUSARI (TEESTIC): Conductive environs, but getting too cold there's a need for heaters at night.
Ajay Balan: The library has good facilities, extremely friendly staff who is always ready to help you and also has 24 hour open study facility. The university students need to have their id cards to enter the facility,if they don't have one there is an temporary pass generator next to the gate where if you know your user id and password you could generate one. Give a thumbs up if you find the review helpful.
John Mylan: It's a university library, most of the staff are lovely. It's always clean, lots of great book and places to study. Would can be difficult to know where to look as they have the doie decimal system but don't explain how it works, so unlesa you look up where the books are you normaly can't find them.
Pin: My favourite building in University of Plymouth, 24/7 opening is such amazing existence for postgraduates.
Arthur Ratcliffe: This building is The University of Plymouth's Library and houses thousands of books for the students and also within the building are quiet rooms that can be booked out, also a cafe serving beverages and snacks. There is a disabled access and lift to all 3 levels. Friendly staff.
Milica Simovic: Amazing place!
DragosP Buc Ro: Could use a bit more directions, friendly staff, plenty of study rooms
Simon Bonney: 👍
Mohammed Shiekh: Great place to study, however a bigger library would be 5 star. More small rooms like 3rd floor post grad room would br amazing
Jamie Davis: I basically live here now and it hurts my soul. Good place tho, usually computers free
Holly Green: Great student libary. Lots of computers, bookable study space.
Elek Churella: Basically a Plymouth University's second home.
Em Bibby: Cold
Zack: lots of paper in this building
Tom Smaga: Useless. I’m sure it’s lovely inside. But, if you are not a student & are in desperate need of accessing a document on email & have a requirement to print it out, you won’t get any help from here unless you’re a student. So yes, totally useless.
Mo: The place to learn and to work on assignments
Gavin McCormick: Plenty of study space, and a cafe on 1st floor 👍
Brandon Barnard: Great place to study with many resources. Use it frequently and always get work done when I do. Has many hard to find books, and a great online service to locate said books. A lot of computer access as well and printing services.
Catherine Shier: Open 24/7, this has all the resources available that you could need. There's even a maths drop in centre that anyone, regardless of course, can go to for help with any maths problems. Theres quiet areas, more social areas, and ample areas for you to take your own laptop (with plug sockets). I often go here in my spare time.
SiddoNotts: Amazing library with an endless range of books and subjects. Also available to visitors who aren't students as long as they have photo ID.
