Mark Willerton: I can't praise SatNav Repairs enough, usb charge port melted on my TomTom Rider, I filled in the online form and had a repair quote back within 24 hours. Quote was 1/3 of what TomTom quoting to repair so decided to give them a try.Wow what great service I posted my unit to them, was emailed to say it was received and further emails of fault confirmation and repair progress, repair completed same day I paid the invoice (which was as per the quotation) that evening, my repaired satnav posted back on 24 hour tracked service the next day.In summary whole process from me posting to satnav being back on my motorbike repaired good as new took 6 days including the weekend and cost just £47.00 beat that for service and good value. Thanks guys

robert ramm: Here is a man that has pride in his work He explains everything to you so you understand his work ethics are outstanding He fix my Garman edge 1000 without any problems replace the screen even found a fault on the board and fixed it for me this is man I will go back to even showed me what the fault was and how he was going to fix it while I was waiting. I will give him 10 out of 10 for his work his ethics and his manners anyone that needs a repair done I suggest you go to when it comes to computers and computer related equipment thank you very much for the work you done for me. They have fixed TomToms for years ago and now my Ford Transit custom screen on my display that give you sat nav radio and blue tooth. True to their word genuine guys can’t thank them enough.

Bob Turner: I could not recommend them more highly.Quite exceptional service from the very beginning of the process to a completely satisfactory conclusion to a very complex problem with my Nissan Leaf. It required the patience of a saint, very high levels of technical and practical skill and Ovi had them all!Nissan and Clarion(who manufacture the unit) both insisted a complete unit replacement was the only solution at a cost of something in the region of £4000 !!! What was actually required was one single replacement component which could have been replaced in about 15 minutes if Clarion bothered to carry stock for a six year old vehicle.PS - Here is a direct quote from Clarion's website -"Commitment to respect the consumer"No" to obsolescence... This catchphrase sums up Clarion's fundamental principles, for whom quality is a rule. A product should have more than one life. That is why 98% of the products entrusted to our service are indeed restored and receive specific preventative measures that will prolong this new life and reduce costs. These interventions represent savings of 50% to 90% compared to the price of a new product."- I THINK NOT!!
David Ives: The repair to my BMW Nav VI was perfect, it needed a new touch screen.They were out of stock of the screens when I sent the unit and it took much longer than they initially quoted for the repair to be done. They responded timely to my communications and I would have no hesitation in using them again.

I had a issues that went back to October 22 and literally took 4 months to get resolved. Yes it was resolved but shouldn't have taken 4 months. For me I will be buying tech else where

2D Carpentry: Today, I decided to go to the store to try out the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops in person and get some advice on the differences between the 2 and which one would be better suited to me based on my requirements. The MacBook Pro on demo wasn't even working so I couldn't try it out. I was standing at the MacBooks testing the Air for about 10 minutes before anyone even came over to ask if I needed help. I was the only customer in store at the time and there was a group of 6 staff members standing chatting to one another no more than 2m away from me, 2 of which caught eye contact with me but continued to ignore me.Now you could say, 'why didn't you just go and ask for help'. I didn't approach anyone to ask for help because I wanted to see actually how long id have to stand and wait for someone to come over to me. That is their job after all.When one of the guys finally came over, he gave off a 'I don't really want to be here' vibe, no energy, no sales ability and was unable to properly answer the questions I proposed to him. In the end I just chose to buy the MacBook Air because I couldn't try out the Pro and the guy didn't make any effort to try and sell me either or give me any information to influence my decision.This is the second Apple product I've purchased from this store, the previous one being an iPad Pro last year and I had the same experience when buying that.Staff lack any customer service abilities, they have no sales abilities, no knowledge of the products they sell and have to look on the website to get the information to answer questions which I could just do myself.They have severe lack of energy and would rather stand huddled together chatting than actually trying to make sales and deliver a positive experience for the customers.Luckily for them, on both occasions I had already done my own research and had pretty much made up my mind before going to the store, otherwise they may well have lost a sale on both occasions. I expect to be able to ask questions and get a more knowledgable answer than just reading from the website.

All the tags that describe the stereos make no sense..... Young unexperienced sales people with the attitude of it doesn't matter to me etc so I ask for a manager.... Adrian the manager came out with an aggressive manner before I had even said a word (shortman syndrome). I ask if we could go away from that area so it would be more professional but he wanted to do it in front of the staff member I was complaining about. In a split second he snapped, told me to leave without even hearing what I had to say, threatened to physically remove me and squared up to me, then once I asked him how? He then said I will call the police then.... Childish little man who has obviously heard it all before due to his quick action..... Could have been a way to improve his service,.But destroy the business obviously..... Good luck if you decide to go there 😀👍👌😁

Taff Lovesey: Why is it that every time I go into Currys there are small groups of staff chatting and customers stood at checkouts waiting.I've yet to go into a Currys and receive good service - unless you count an over enthusiastic salesman trying to oversell a product that you don't really need.

My Fitbit was replaced under warranty he then took the time to help me out loading it on to the app. ( I’m not technically minded) He didn’t have to spare the time but nothing was too much trouble. Rob Aherne: Bought a new Samsung washing machine and drove it home. Had a problem adjusting the feet with the supplied spanner, which bent before it could unscrew them. Went back to the store - the guy who'd sold me the machine the previous day literally could not have given less of a toss. 'Ring Samsung, nothing I can do.' Simply a pathetic level of customer care. I only went to Currys because it's the only bricks-and-mortar left retailer near us and thought this might give an element of reassurance should something go wrong - my experience was the complete opposite. My last purchase from Currys, that's for sure.
Tim Lister: Staff messed around with an online order I needed to show ID for nothing else and tried to alter the purchase so It was through the store resulting in the item not being in stock at the store and the camera not available. Due to the time frame I lost a weekend mountain bike racings photography with friends which I won’t be able to ever get back. customer services didn’t even bother getting back to me after I complained. It’s a shame as I’ve brought several cameras through the store but have been thoroughly let down now.

Anon Client: The whole point ofpurchasing from this store specifically was that it was on my route as i travelled south to work, and the website said I could collect from 10 am onwards on a Sunday, so i ordered online, paid etc, and I arrived the following morning at 10:20 expecting to be able to collect my item that I needed for work, and was told that it hasn't arrived yet, very disappointed! Some might say I'm being overly picky, and that maybe it had arrived and just hadn't been unpacked yet, no. Believe me, i checked. It hadn't arrived, and wasn't due to for quite a while. Seems to be quite a disjoint from what the website promises and what they can deliver

Second no pay by card machines, then no contactless machines at the tills. Third no updated touchscreen stock checker machines, like I said the 90s. And lastly nothing in stock, trying to buy simple things is always delivered next day...delivered in 3 days, do they have stock?? Just a poor store.
Peter Etherington: Wouldn't give me a bag to carry a drill home on my bike. Said they are 5p. Explained that I had no cash on my only debit card, they said they can't accept card payment for 5p. Luckily, the staff in Sainsbury's excercised some discretion and gave me a 5p bag for free!Moral of this story. Don't use Argos... Do use Sainsbury's!
