Imran Fasil: My second hand bike rides like a new bike after Graham worked his charm on it. Its so smooth to pedal and the gears have been tuned perfectly just a tiny little click and its switched gear, such a enjoyment to go for a bike ride now. Fantastic service and very reasonable. Hix cycles will be my place to go for any work needed.
Tony Johnson: I was looking for my 28 year old bike to be repaired and read the excellent reviews for Hix Cycles so gave Hix Cycles a call Graham inspected the bike and advised me what was wrong and what was needed to repair it, giving me an estimate of costs. 2 weeks later I collected the bike and it is like new. Graham did a great job and I would very highly recommend him to others.

Mihaela Mirodoni: Mr. Graham it's a very experienced bike mechanic, very knowledgeable in what he is doing and very nice and friendly. He changed brake pads and a tyre of my electric bike very quick and on a very affordable price. The atmosphere was very warm. I would definitely recommend everyone to come over for repairs on this workshop as the prices and overall customer service it's definitely more custom made comparing with a large high street workshop.

Lots of hard work by graham to get the bike road safely. Can't thank him enough for all the effort he put into it... A challenge for him,So much to replace, in fact think it was almost a re build, thankyou so much.I will return here for the annual service from now on

Andy Clark: I purchased a secondhand bike and took it to Graham for a full service and to replace any worn parts. Graham gave a honest appraisal of what work needed doing and what the total cost would be. Graham is a skilled cycle mechanic and takes great pride in his work. When I collected my bike, Graham had deep cleaned it and it rode like a new bike. He is also very happy to give advice on accessories etc. I would recommend Hix Cycles 100%. You will receive excellent service and advice.

CoD_Vale: Well, i can say that shop is amazing, but last week i went there to ask about my fork for the bike, and how to adjust it, some old grumpy cashier was so rude to me and screamed “you don’t touch them!” When i tried to adjust it he again screamed. “You don’t touch them!”Then next week which is today i came and had punctured tires, i was thinking again the grumpy guy will be there, but no it was a polite nice elder man, who was friendly and even took his time to look for exact inner tube i needed, much love for the hard work, just talk to the old grumpy guy that he needs to change his attitude. ☺️🚲

James Macdonald: This is a fantastic bike shop with a raft a bikes and biking accessories that cater to all levels of ability within cycling. The staff are professional, always on hand and are able to provide a 5 star level of expert customer service all round. I was at a loss with my Cube Attain and was almost ready to give up on it when the owner of the shop gave me a breakdown of the costs involved in repairing it and presented it to me a week later, as good as new, even throwing in two brand new tyres free of charge! The bike needed a lot of work and I was in half a mind to buy a new road bike altogether. However, after ordering in a series of different parts including a new chain, chain ring, pedals, brake pads and a new gear changing system amongst a number of other things, Richardson's restored the bike to its original form with new tape around the handle bars to top it off! I was told by the owner that he had literally taken it all to pieces and reassembled it. I heartily recommend their services to any serious cyclist!

Jamie Mersini: I came in knowing my bike would require alot of work the staff was knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done even before telling them the issues which I had. Part was ordered but ended up being the wrong part and was refunded as soon as (I wanted the original part) the rest of the work was completed to a very high standard other parts arrived the next day and bike was finished the same day as they arrived can not be more more happy with my experience and with the standard at which work was completed staff are straight to the point and backing up their reasoning behind would highly recommend
Katharine Pulford: My bike needed TLC after rough transit during a house move. The manager at Richardson's did a fantastic job fixing dents and a buckled wheel. He gave the brakes and gears a thorough service and checked for cracks in the frame. He also provided great advice on security locks. A local gem.

What a legend!Good to have RCs in the city, since some 11 cycle shops have now closed since I first came to the city.Couldn't dispose of the bike unless the Council were paid for its disposal.

David Ledger: Sometimes I question the validity of reviews however not in this instance. The guy who I presume is the manager, lacks any kind of customer service. He is so rude and condescending. I gave him the benefit of the doubt during my first visit, but have since concluded that he is a total, first class d**k head.

Yasin Kothia: This place is amazing, I was after purchasing a new bike and Linds made the whole experience extremely easy. Before purchasing the bike I was put on a bike fitting jig to make sure the bike I was purchasing will fit me after that Linds went through all the options with me and the order was placed. Linds kept me in the loop in regards the to delivery and once the order had arrived at the shop it was built within a day or so. Upon collection I could see the level of care that was taken in building the bike up, before walking away with the bike Linds took me through all the details on the bike. These guys are honest and fair, I wont be purhcasing a bike from anywhere else. Thank you Linds, Justine and James!

Once decided, Linds checked it over and made sure it was 100% ready to ride, even put it in my car! The bike preparation and set up is immaculate, and the pre- pickup briefing outstanding.Plus the team are interested not just in the sale but also supporting you along the way to make sure you are okay and if they can help.Finally, they do really fair pricing, in a clear and transparent way.If your thinking of making an investment in a stunning new bike, speak to them first, because they have a wide range of top brands and years of experience of setting up elite bikes.
