Ieuan Williams: Made 3 trips amounting to 40 miles to sell my PS4. 2 times was told they don't have cash in the till to do it and to take my chances visiting again, and the last time was told it doesn't accept discs despite getting home and it working fine. Now sold to a competitor without an issue and will be using them for future purchases.
D P: Do not trade any items in this store. They have to 'check the tills' to see if there is enough cash in till and told to try my luck another day. We are taking our items to a competitor now. We will never shop at GAME again.
Shadow: I bought a bluetooth turtle beach headset in that was faulty and claimed on my insurance. I'm a vulnerable adult with Aspergers and ADHD. Instead of them replacing the headset with a like for like. They game me a headset that requires a dongle to get it to connect. The headset that I bought originally cost more than the headset they replaced it with. My original headset didn't require a dongle to connect to my Xbox . When they replaced the headset that didn't require a dongle with one that was cheaper and did require a dongle, the staff member lied to me saying it it was the same as the one I originally had but the only difference is the colour instead of it being white they only had a black one in stock. They made no effort to tell me that it required a dongle to connect it . Instead they told me it was exactly the same as the one I bought in to make a insurance claim on. I honestly believe they knew I was stressed out and they knew by not replacing it with a like for like they were breaking the law and hoping because of my disability that I wouldn't notice. I didn't notice it required a dongle to connect it untill I got home and tested it out. Basically they took advantage of my disability so that they could get away with breaking the law. Worst thing is they made me sign a form that said they were replacing it with a like for like after they lied to me about. Which then gets them out of being held accountable for this.

Martyn Avis: Went into game in sports direct at Bretton to buy a Xbox controller, when we got it home it was faulty after taking it back to the shop with the receipt was told the serial numbers didn't match,it would seem to me another one was but into the box.I paid £50 for a faulty controller, and the store assistant was rude too.Always open boxes and check serial numbers Infront of staff before leaving the shop to avoid being scammed.
Matthew Wrightson: Now that they have reopened in Sports Direct the stock they have is very limited and to be honest nothing like it use to be as a stand alone shop. Feels more like an after thought than a shop

Dev Dis: I hadnt been in to this store before but was looking for a birthday present for my nephew. I have to admit, I am pretty clueless about technology and gaming. But I neednt have felt silly - the staff member I dealt with ( I think his name was Matt) could not have been more helpful and patient with me. He talked me through a couple of different products to help me decide which one was the most suitable, which was very much appreciated. My nephew was very pleased with his gift. Great customer service, I will be back again.

Andrew Copley: We needed a new car seat and base urgently so called in to see what we could find. The young lady who helped us was nothing short of brilliant. Knowledgeable, friendly, able to answer any and all questions fully and simply and so helpful.My only regret is that I did not get her name to give her the credit she deserves. If the manager of the store wanted to get in touch I'd be more than happy to see if we could help identify her.
Shazam: Love it. Good selection of toys. I like how my daughter was able to test a scooter before we bought it. Bought a lot from here every Christmas. Can be a little bit rammed at certain times and doesn't help if there is a ladder taking up space. Staff always kind and helpful..

Z Anderson: One of the best customer service experiences I have ever had.Visited this store back in August as they had availability for a PS5 at the time and we ended up leaving with much more. I put this down to the experience we received we were able to browse and enjoy the store which is nicely put together. At one point we came across the pram section we wanted to try it out with our LO in it. However it was chained up and the member of staff did not have the key. The manager came to assist and helped to resolve the issue. The levels of communication was great to see and experiences like this make you appreciate being able to go in to store as opposed to shopping online. From management all the way to the retail assistance every person in this store is fantastic!

helen joy: Horrible experience with this store . Purchased two car seats and was demonstrated how to use then both in store . No offer to demonstrate in car or fit it in car . When we fitted it into car realised one of them wasn’t fitting well . We decided we wanted to return it as we were not happy as it shook from side to side. Went in today . 2 days after buying it and told they Do not accept returns for car seats , even though we were told to keep the receipt and paperwork to prove we had seen a demo so we could return it if needed . To cut a long story short , the manager made out It was my fault as we fitted the car seat at home ( even though they did not offer ) and then To make matters worse , we was told when buying the seat , our 1 year could stay in it rear facing until she was four , to be told today she would need to be forward facing in a few months … the whole reason we bought it was because she could stay rear facing until she was four not a few more months 😡thankfully Victoria came and saved the day and was amazing and solved the problem. , however the manager did not help . His condescending and patronising nature towards me was disgusting . I have looked all over the small print of the website and cannot find anywhere that they do not accept car seat returns . They need to broadcast this and make sure staff in the car seat and baby section are fully trained , offer all the demos and know there stuff . Would recommend seeing Victoria for baby stuff but not smyths Peterborough .

Kindly asked Eleanor to randomly pick a pack for me, which she did aswell as a joke about them being non refundable if I'm not happy, however upon opening the pack it revealed a card that is valued at £75 and it has really made my day and I just want to say she is amazing 👏🏻

Roger Pope: Went to the new Poundland Store at Brotherhoods retail park in Peterborough to be called Poundland now is incorrect most of the prices are higher than all of the leading supermarkets.Please visit the store and decide for yourself but i dont think you will travel to make a return visit don't be fooled by some of the one pound offers the quantities are considerably smaller than the higjer priced products.Bottom line is you could be paying more for less.
