Bupa Dental Care Peterborough - Minor Oral Surgery: what do users think?
chris johnson
chris johnson: Extremely professional throughout , staff were fantastic making me feel relaxed and assured about the treatment taking place .
The Explorer
The Explorer: I had a infected tooth removed by the dentist and dental nurse it was very well done plenty of pain relief and very nice and friendly service thank you for your help I am very grateful
lyn norman
lyn norman: Can I just thank all the staff at this Dentist. I have been so scared of coming and Ekta Wadhwa and her assistant made the whole experience easier. Also Sophie on reception, I don’t think I would have attended if it wasn’t for you
Carrie Wigger
Carrie Wigger: This is the 2nd time I have had an extraction here and I although it is never a pleasant experience to have this procedure the staff have made it as quick and painless as possible.I always have had a pleasant experience with the reception staff and never had to wait long for an appointment.I am a total wimp when it comes to pain and have had the reassurance to calm me down and make me feel in safe hands
Sacocaf Games
Sacocaf Games: Needed a tootth extraction got reffered here from an emergency dentist and the procedure was fantastic, the dentist was super helpful and reassuring. And helped me with my anxiety by keeping me calm through it.
Charlie Vinten
Charlie Vinten: Came in earlier today for a wisdom tooth removal and experienced so much kindness and patience from Amit and Jenny. This is the second wisdom tooth I’ve had removed here and was very nervous but they were extremely accommodating, allowed me to have my partner come in to support me, talked me through the entire process and made sure I was comfortable throughout - asking me for a thumbs up if I was alright halfway through :)Thank you :)
John Ruggles
John Ruggles: I am 78 years old and take blood thinners due to a stroke 2 years ago. Because I needed a full denture my dentist referred me to the City Hospital for the multiple extractionspossibly with General anaesthsetic. They, in turn, passed me on to BUPA in Bushfield. I have never favoured the combination of Public/Private health provision but this clearly was why I was attended to so quickly despite Covid delays and I have to say my experience was excellent. The only, slight, discomfort came from the multiple injections required. The whole process, from the first jab to the final stitch (with a row of teeth in between!) took 25 minutes. The team were cheerful, considerate and constantly reassuring. They worked together like a well-oiled machine. My own dentist is very impressed by the standard of work done.I would have no qualms should I have to return to The Dream Team!😁
Chelsey Etherington
Chelsey Etherington: Came today to have two wisdom teeth out was extremely scared considering I have never had a tooth removed let alone two ! I couldn’t recommend or thank Ekta Wadhwa and her nurse enough I walked in thinking I’d come back another day needing sedation to get through the procedure without distress and panic however they both made me feel so confident and brave I went through with it on the appointment with just being numbed ! They was patient , calm and reassuring and have helped me get over my fear of the dentist ! For anyone out there I didn’t feel a thing before I knew it they was out and gone ! Thank you 🙏🏼
Martin Cook
Martin Cook: If anyone is unsure about visiting the Dentist then I can personally recommend this Dental Practice in Orton Centre. Made to feel welcome and the staff were very professional. Excellent treatment.
Joanna Wyszynska
Joanna Wyszynska: Very bad experience, been there with my 8 years son few days ago (not private appointment, just NHS), for extraction tooth after last visit where same dentist said that need to extract this tooth. After few minutes of my visit dentist decide that he not gonna be do anything, instead told me to send my son to hospital to give him general anesthesia for extraction baby tooth heh. He said that he not gonna be do anything because he worry about bad experience for my son, what Was funny because a minute later when I ask him, "so what, you not gonna be do anythink today"?, he start Talking to my son that he must give him injection, after take tooth out with nervous tone , and of course make him confused, and said to me : "see, hospital is better option", mean time his assistents talk to my son that there in hospital they give him injection and let him sleep, after that he start crying, and This is bad experience for my son, to make fear for him. Today i been with son in different place, very very polite dentist, for me and specially for child, 5 minutes and job done, ( one small injection, no pain, no fear, one tooth less) son very happy to come for another extraction baby tooth. So, looks like dont come with your children to this dentist in bupa Orton Bushfield, they pushing their job to others, making fear for children and leaving really bad experience, for both, parent and child.
Ieva Koniauskyte
Ieva Koniauskyte: Very nice staff, doctor and nurse both were very polite, professional, i had my wisdom tooth removed, took a while becouse of current situation with covid 19 they not allowed to use drill, but had not bad experience (keep in mind removing tooth could not be good experience in general) 😊
Jamie Hodgson
Jamie Hodgson: I told the dental that I could still feel everything then she took 2 teeth out but snapped the tooth and it still half a tooth in both areas taken out
Lorraine Montgomery
Lorraine Montgomery: Ekta Wadhwa and Jenny Waring we're absolutely amazing with me I suffer with a few mental health problems and they took their time and patients with me and made sure I was ok the whole way threw. Defanitly made my experience a lot better. They took their time with me and made sure it was all about me and how I was feeling. I even forgot my elastic band for my wrists and they stopped and went and found me one. Any one that suffers mental health this is the place to go.
Kimberley Glover
Kimberley Glover: Excellent, professional and friendly staff!!! Thank you all so much for all your care!
Becky Bakewell
Becky Bakewell: First class treatment from a professional, courteous and caring team.
Tyler Bennett
Tyler Bennett: After a couple of distressing experiences with dental practices, I expected more from a "specialist" when getting my wisdom teeth removed. I am a nervous patient who doesn't react too well with anaesthetic, I feel I was rushed in and out although the reassurance was there it did not feel genuine. Whilst numb I don't appreciate being made aware I'm dribbling, I am more concerned about calming myself down. I feel this could have been done discreetly and more professionally instead of adding humiliation to the already uncomfortable situation I was in.The dentist, did however, do a quick and easy extraction, I just wish a bit more genuine empathy was shown.
Sharon Wilson
Sharon Wilson: Awful treatment from an impatient rude dental surgeon . I am a nervous patient but have previously had other extractions and plenty of other dental work but never left a surgery feeling as unhappy and disgusted with the attitude of a dentist as this time ! Avoid

John Wright
John Wright: Sept 2nd - one week after breaking tooth. The dentist at WeCare Stanground did a great job sticking my split tooth back together. I like that he told me and showed me what he was doing.A week later I saw Morne Williams at Fletton for a consultation on the best option for my split tooth. He is always very friendly and explains the options well.11th Oct had tooth removed and post fitted - some concern that the best size insert was used - they didn't have the one Morne would have preferred. My only complaint about WeCare is the number of times the receptionists contact me with reminders about my appointment- emails and phone call - not necessary!Jan 2023 had to wait for half an hour while Morne dealt with an emergency. Then felt he was rushing to catch up. Which resulted in a fair bit of pain as he tweeked my insert. I felt he was a bit stressed and therefore it was not the usual pleasant experience.
Susan Horsfall
Susan Horsfall: Excellent Dental Surgery, with really lovely staff. I always recommend you to my friends.

The Priestgate Clinic: what do users think?
Pet Sitting Finchley
Pet Sitting Finchley: A beautiful clinic with a friendly, happy team. Jessica was my dentist and she was lovely and I felt in safe hands.
Jenny Hodson
Jenny Hodson: Excellent orthodontics for my children’s teeth. Always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Vaiva Zln
Vaiva Zln: Great clinic and Estela the periodontist is amazing! Highly recommended!
Nicola Walker
Nicola Walker: I’ve been going to Priestgate Clinic for years. I absolutely love Catherine, who can actually do pain free injections, and the hygienist is also excellent - my teeth are well cared for and they don’t try and push extras like some dentists I’ve been to in the past. I’ve recommended them to several friends who have all been really happy - can thoroughly recommend!
Diana Mooney
Diana Mooney: Before I became a patient of this clinic I was incredibly nervous about going to the dentist. I had had some terrible experiences with local NHS dentists and for a long time neglected my oral health.I started going to this practice in 2020 and in the two years of being their patient my outlook on going to the dentist completely changed. Catherine is an incredibly kind, gentle and understanding dentist. She has such a relaxed approach that in my last appointment, where I had two fillings done, I almost fell asleep! My oral health has never been better and I have it all to thank to Catherine and the Priestgate Clinic!
Denise Beeby
Denise Beeby: My recent dental surgery at the clinic was undertaken by an extremely professional team which gave me all the support and reassurance I needed. I have always been “frightened of the dentist” but they spent the time before, during and after the treatment to ensure I was both comfortable and fully understood the process throughout. They even called me the following day to check my recovery. Prior to the treatment I had consultations with two other clinics, neither of which gave me the confidence to proceed. I have no hesitation in recommending The Priestgate Clinic.
Elexa Booth
Elexa Booth: I have been at Priestgate Dental Clinic since is opened. Richard and Catherine are both fantastic. I needed to have some dental treatment due to my teeth moving, Richard has been brilliant and I'm really really happy with my results. Richard assessed my teeth and clearly explained different options to me that would resolve the issue. I chose to have a fixed brace, all the information I received was very detailed including aftercare with a detailed plan of how and and when to use my retainers. Richard is clearly very knowledgable and thorough in his work and I never felt any pressure to undergo any treatment. I cannot speak anymore highly of Catherine and Richard's practice and as a family we will continue to visit. I will continue to recommend the Priestgate Dental Clinic because Richard and Catherine's work is second to none. Thank you.
Isabelle Reading
Isabelle Reading: I had braces put on from this dental clinic. My teeth were amazing after however my retainers haven’t fitted for a while now, and I still wear them and having been told they do fit and my teeth are a weird shape so they can’t do anything my teeth have now moved a substantial amount. It was a waste of my time and my mums money paying for the braces. extremely disappointed with the service.
George
George: Richard, Rosa and all of the team made my experience at Priestgate clinic amazing. I went to the clinic for teeth alignment and thus visited the clinic on multiple occasions. The team were were very sensitive towards trying to schedule my bookings for times that worked for me.Dental work can be quite anxiety inducing but Richard is a lovely person and a great listener. I felt confident in expressing any concerns to Richard who would invariably help put me at ease.I didn’t know I needed jaw work completing. Richard was fantastic and making sure that all I needed to do was turn up for appointments with regards to my jaw . Both my pre and post surgery treatment was so effortless. It is definitely the best dental practice I have ever used and I shall be visiting for any future work.I highly recommend making Priestgate your next dental pit stop!
Shell Stokes
Shell Stokes: Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Professional, friendly and demonstrated the highest level of expertise. Amazed at the results which Mr Cousley achieved. I couldn’t have wished for a better smile. Big thanks to you and all your team. I literally cannot stop smiling 😀 Highly recommend The Priestgate Clinic.
Kate Whight
Kate Whight: Delighted to have taken the plunge and had both top and bottom teeth straightened at Priestgate clinic. Brilliant joined up care from the orthodontist and dentist . I am so pleased with the results even though it is uncomfortable to start off with. Their is lots of prompt support from Priestgate ,it gets easier and easier and is definitely worth it. It took less time than predicted and I enjoyed smiling for photos at my son’s wedding. Also praise to the hygienist who is helpful and encouraging without making you feel like a naughty child. A first!!!
Vanessa Norcliffe
Vanessa Norcliffe: Thank you to all the team at The Priestgate Clinic - we have been impressed with your service since day one. After a few failed attempts to find an expert orthodontist to help our young daughter correct her overbite, Richard and his team stood out from the rest. Always patient and meticulous at every appointment - 2 years on and our daughters smile is just beautiful - never once did she dread going or feel uncomfortable - credit where credit's due, you really are a 5 star clinic! Our teenage Son is now using the service too - again we were offered the right treatment plan to suit his needs. This clinic really cares about its patients and takes pride in their work.
Leeanne Hart
Leeanne Hart: First time I've gone private with a dentist, yes its a lot more, however you can't bet the service and overall experience, worth every penny!A great reception team with Charlotte managing the clinic, its efficient with a great atmosphere.
Paul Swift
Paul Swift: Had a brace fitted by Richard on top line in January 2020 followed by bottom line in March 2020, both lines straightened up very quickly and had them removed in March 2021. I've just been to have my teeth cleaned and polished with Katherine and can honestly say with all the hygiene care I've had over the year's it's the best polish ever. Well worth the money, and from the moment you walk through the door from the reception staff to the dental staff you are treated with respect. Now applying to go on Love Island with this beam 😂
Mrs Wall
Mrs Wall: I had an Orthodontic brace fitted by Richard for over-crowding of my teeth. Prior to treatment I was given a comprehensive plan of treatment which clearly and concisely showed each step of my treatment.Throughout the whole of my treatment Richard explained everything very well and was very approachable, friendly and thorough. This was reassuring and I felt confident from day one I would have great results.I saw Katherine (Dentist) who was very dynamic in her approach, carrying out what needed to be done to find out what the problem was. Katherine advised me what to do and the problem soon settled. Katherine is approachable, calm, kind friendly and puts you at ease.Katherine (Hygienist) when leaving an appointment with Katherine you really feel your teeth have had an excellent clean. Katherine is more than happy to advise with cleaning and general care. Katherine is easy to talk to, friendly and puts you at ease. The reception team, Dental nurses all could not be any more welcoming, friendly and always a smile when you arrive. They are organised, efficient and nothing seems to much to ask.My experience was perfect and I am very happy with the results! I would recommend Priestgate Dental Clinic as it is a modern, genuine, quality driven Clinic that achieves top results.Thank you!
David Smith
David Smith: May I take this opportunity being a new client to share my views after 3 appointments. The experience starts and finishes with very kind and courteous staff in reception. The waiting room is comfortable and all three appointments have been on time and greeted by a dentistal assistant. I would peronally like to congratulate the Practice on using the services of the Friday Dentist Jaja Akhtar. After living and working in many countries using many Dentists this is my first time to experience such a kind and caring Dentist working on a very nervous client. He has conducted himself in such a proffesional manner and I shall be reccomending your Practise plus Raja personally.Best regards,David S Smith
Helen Bobrowicz
Helen Bobrowicz: Best dental practice ever❤ everyone works as a team. So friendly and reassuring. If you are frightened of dentists this is the practice for you. Kathryn the hygienist is ace your teeth really feel clean and sparkly after seeing her.and Rosa and Charlotte are the front of house who are lovely and welcoming.Thank you priestgate clinic 😅
Joanne Antrobus
Joanne Antrobus: I was recommended Richard Cousley to do my orthodontic treatment by my daughter's orthodontist. I am so glad I followed up on this lead as my experience has been very positive. The friendly dental team have been consistently professional and the work I have had done has been of extremely high quality pleasing me no end. I would not hesitate for a moment recommending The Priestgate Clinic to others.
sunnyb92
sunnyb92: I avoid dentists when possible but and after a particularly traumatic experience at another local dentist a friend advised I call the Priestgate Clinic. Top notch, put me at ease and saved my tooth. All the treatments I've had so far painless including a root canal.
Kerrie Neal
Kerrie Neal: I have just started my dental treatment with Catherine. I definitely recommend them. I was really scared of going to dentists but so glad I have found this place. The receptionist, dental nurses, hygienist and Catherine are so understanding, kind and friendly. Definitely would not go anywhere else.

The Smile Boutique: what do users think?
Elizabeth Milligan
Elizabeth Milligan: Extremely disappointed with the service feom this practice! x3 appointments cancelled within less than one month, due to extended holiday, family emergencies! Would not use again!!! Was allocated a new dentist on his first day at the practice, who was a very nice gentleman however he is never available and appointments are continually being rescheduled. Informed this does not affect the teeth whitening process. You pay for your next appointment in advance which they cancel!!!
Janet Richardson
Janet Richardson: This practice never made me smile. I was disappointed with the dentist treatment. Never did what I asked. Left me with a mouth full of filling. I had my teeth cleaned and she didn't know what she was doing I've had a tooth ache ever since. The receptionist wasn't very helpful. Thought they were rude. Never going back there again
Jael Miranda
Jael Miranda: Great Staff, especially Megan, the way she explained the whole Invisalign process was brilliant. Really good work
chikovo bell
chikovo bell: An excellent service. I had a deep clean done by Saumya with very good results. Keep up the warm and friendly customer care.

Hayley Lefevre
Hayley Lefevre: The treatment I received at smile boutique was fantastic and would recommend them to everyone
Jerome
Jerome: I recently had a tooth removed at the Smile Boutique by Dr Saumya Sharma and nurse Farah. I have to say the service was outstanding, they was both kind and considerate when approaching the subject. Not only that they seemed to have a passion for what they was doing so I felt like I was in good hands. The practise also called me later on to see how I was getting on and if I had any concerns, I would recommended Smile Boutique to anyone
Julie Pask
Julie Pask: I am very nervous of the dentist in general. I had an appointment with Amy the hygienist. She immediately put me at ease, explaining everything she was doing before doing it. Checking that I was coping all the way through the experience. My teeth are amazingly clean now. Amy made the whole experience a good one. So thank you for your caring nature and professional work.
Edgaras Z
Edgaras Z: Choose private clinic to get proper service. At the moment is worse than NHS.
Karen Satchwell
Karen Satchwell: Would like to highly recommend Dr Saumya sharma (gum specialist & implantologist) at the smile boutique Peterborough as the treatment i have received from her is second to none, very professional, puts you at ease, talks you through all of your treatment step by step & makes sure your comfortable. I've had a gum operation & an implant recently done by Saumya, as a nervous patient about going to a dentist anyway was totally relaxed about the whole process, wouldn't ever worry about going back again to see Saumya, she made it a positive experience for me.
Susan Richards
Susan Richards: I went to this dental practice initially as my teeth were moving and was referred to their periodontist Dr Saumya Sharma. She diagnosed me as having gum disease and although very frightening i cannot praise her and her assistant enough. I am still undergoing treatment but she explains and listens and although sometimes the treatments are not pleasant she fulfils me with confidence and I know I am in excellent care in the treatments I am getting and her ability and knowledge. If anyone who is like me doesn't really like going to the dentist and has had bad experiences I can only say thank you Dr Sharma as you not only provide excellent service but have helped with my anxiety and have given me a positive experience of dentists. Excellent service .

Don MacSween
Don MacSween: I will start by saying that I am a very nervous patient having had terrible dental treatment earlier in life. I cannot recommend The Smile Boutique highly enough, I am halfway through an extensive individualised treatment plan and have had no pain either during or following my treatments. The staff are both very efficient and fully put me at ease.It has been very easy to book appointments, with very reasonable waiting times given the covid crisis.Five Star service.
Jo Backham
Jo Backham: I hadn’t been to the dentist in years due to a bad experience a long time ago. From the first appointment, as I crossed over the dreaded threshold, the staff made me feel welcome. They mopped my crying eyes with calm and gentle understanding and then worked with me through my anxieties and worries. I’ve had fillings, Invisalign, a bridge and am now attending regular appointments worry free and go about life with a happy smile, finally showing my teeth!

Victoria Parker
Victoria Parker: The front automatic door keeps screaming everytime it opens and closes and when you've been sat there for 5 hours it gets a bit wearing for us with sensory issues. Once you've had a blood test it would be good to know how long results take to get in. My partner could have gone home and actually been able to lay down and rest which is also what he needs right now. Instead we've been waiting 5 hours for results.
Heidi Stone
Heidi Stone: Poor parking facilities - not enough spaces.
Tarek Ghesh
Tarek Ghesh: Looking at the comments below and the size of the problems!!! I feel shy to add that 2 nurses tired 3 times to put cannula in my wife's hands and they failed ( taking in consideration my wife has phobia of cannula and she go off everytime she gets one) then pushed me to another time where the expert will come and do the job !!!
Asif Malik (Asif K Malik)
Asif Malik (Asif K Malik): Not a place to plan you visit. But the hospital is helpful when they are not overloaded with patients like during COVID. It does seem they can improve on a few areas.Usually the staff are helpful if you approach them.
Karolis ss
Karolis ss: Worst hospital i ever been. ill come 3am with heavy pain waiting 2 hours for a blood test then 3h of waiting for doctor in those 3h no one came off and asked for someone to come... when i asked to take out catheter was waiting for another half an hour and no one come to help me had to do bymyself at home . There was some people who came before me and was sleeping on those seats its looks like there no one want to help you out. That how you call emergency nowadays

Vera Gouveia: A 5 star because I can't give 10Thank you to everyone that works in Peterborough City Hospital.
Mirela Ivan
Mirela Ivan: Worst experience in my life at this hospital, for giving birth they don't give you anything apart from a bed, no pool nothing. I was screaming because of pain and wanted the epidural and they lied to me that “the doctor will come soon” for about 5h, in the end, I gave birth like my grandmother 50 years ago(completely naturally) WITHOUT ANY HELP. So before you chose your hospital think twice;) good luck mommy
Tomasz Lorek
Tomasz Lorek: Dark nationality physios pretending they know how to treat but the only thing they can treat are goats 🐐 worst experience ever .not coming back
Sam Bean
Sam Bean: Serious AGE DISCRIMINATION in recruitment of new staff . Manager of Biochemistry and Immunology lab Mathew Smith is only intetested in recruting young girls even if they cant speak English or write. As long as they young and pretty. 😃
Andy Stevenson
Andy Stevenson: My experience was of quick service from start to finish.
Edita Einingyte
Edita Einingyte: The worst place where I had been is Peterborough A&E. Receptionist are rude, repeating all the time sentence that you will be seen after hour, hour passed, you going again to as when is your time, and again the same sentenceIn one and a half hour was seen only one pacient. I not understand how they prioritising pacients, some sitting giggling, but are looked after 10 min, other with open cuts in arms or head, bleeding noses siting 5 hours and nobody comes even to give tissue. And also after such a waiting time you decide to leave, but you have one more surprise to pay a fortune for parking.I will never forget how proudly receptionist said that other day pacient was waiting 14 hours, so our 5 hours of waiting with open wound is nothing.
Carol Creasey
Carol Creasey: Arrived after dropping weight on my foot and suspected broken toe. Kind and helpful staff. All happy in their work, very good care. Didn't wait too long. Xrayed and treated within hour.
Jason Smith
Jason Smith: The security is not the best that I have seen there has been this loud vulgar mouth woman in the waiting area and making everyone uncomfortable with her shouting and demanding people's phone and the security done nothing really bad for any security firm/company
Sheila Gray
Sheila Gray: Amazing care from ward b7 my mum broke her hip and the care they gave her was lovley thankyou to all the nurses you was all great a big thankyou to Jo and Rebecca love from my mum Patrick Taylor Gordon and girls xxxxx

W B
W B: I took my child with bad wrist injury and very mean nurse at the door has mistreated my daughter and me and rushed us out from Emergency department. She was treating us as we just wasting her time. Said her wrist isn't broken by just looking at her for 5 seconds. Send us to the pharmacy instead. I am very upset. Horrible lady.

Lost_traveleros
Lost_traveleros: If you from NHS you're treated like a pestIf private you're treated like VIPAbsolutely worst experience everDr. MALIK shame on youeditYou are NOT treating all patients the same!!!Please do not suggest that I'm lying. I had a terrible experience with one of you "doctors" who didn't even listened what I had to say.Roughly 5 weeks ago the same doctor told me that he will have a plan how to help me with my condition, and yesterday he act like he didn't even remember me at all and didn't remembered what he said previously.Good luck with private patients cuz it looks you guys only care about them.
Mike Turner
Mike Turner: Great hospital to get great treatment. Lovely staff and consultants.
Clare Webster
Clare Webster: Used the one shop stop today. Was such a relief to get an appointment so quickly and then have a mammogram, ultrasound and results all in less than an hour. Mr Goh was fantastic and really put my mind at rest. Would hesitate to use it again or to recommend.
Shar Wills
Shar Wills: Great hospital
Mihaela Mirodoni
Mihaela Mirodoni: Thanks for existing Fitzwilliam Hospital. I have been treated with decency, profesionalism and most important, with all the knowledge of greatest doctor Mr Ajmal Masood. Definitely it's best to choose this private hospital if your health it's important. The journey from reception to doctor was +10 and above
hazel Johnson
hazel Johnson: Emily, who is my physio, is so very positive and promotes such a "I can do this attitude," and that gives me the belief that almost anything is possible.Thank you 😊
Carole Dyehouse
Carole Dyehouse: A charming consultant met with me after my xray and questioned me regarding my history linked to my knee and hip. He assessed me from the xray showing it to me on screen and explaining how he could diagnose the pain I was experiencing. He then physically examined me for his final diagnosis. He was kind clear and explained next steps. This was a completely happy experience after no action from my drs surgery since August 2021. The downside is I am still awaiting an appt for my steroid injection 10dys later. Everything so slow in the health service. Parking is a nightmare at this hospital and check in staff can be very abrupt. NHS patients queue and are seated separately from private. Not great!

J W: Cancelled my operation last minute which was very frustrating.Having said that, the staff are excellent, the rooms are superb. Treatment was incredible - all in all, you’re lucky if you’re able to go somewhere like this.
Carol Cowie
Carol Cowie: Just been discharged from a TKR on NHS. Cannot fault the whole team. Everyone caring, very thoughtful and professional and I felt the ethos of the hospital towards patients was 'go above and beyond' - from start to finish ! The fact that a particular team member gave me such a warm welcome to the ward on arrival and helped me to get to my car on departure when I was in pain, meant so much and was ' the cherry on the top' ! Many thanks to all of you.
Jo humphrey
Jo humphrey: Went in for a clinic appointment as an outpatient referral by medical insurance.OMG so impressed with what small chuck of the hospital I saw.Free ParkingThe most polite & helpful receptionist I've come across in my adult life !Very relaxing lobby / waiting area with plenty of chairs available & with a calming atmosphere.NO one way systems, forced signage, spaced out socially distanced seats or barriers on covid!Everything was super clean & tidy.First time I've seen a medical doctor face to face since 2016 - first time since the Covid rules I've not had my anxiety triggered.Well Done!
Hayley Koster
Hayley Koster: Let me start by saying that my appointments with both Mr Goh and Dr Shriemevan were excellent, and I highly recommend them both. I have nothing but praise for them both.Sadly despite this, I’m quite shocked at how I was spoken to yesterday by a member of the imaging department reception team. This was my second time at Fitzwilliam.I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointments, checked in with main reception and was told to sit in the lounge. My name was called about 25 minutes later by a woman who came into the lounge and angrily told me I was waiting in the wrong area. Surprised by this, I explained I had been told to wait here upon arrival, but she continued to angrily say they had been waiting for me.I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong, despite the fact that I was simply following instructions.Once my ultrasound was finished, I was then told by the same woman to go back to the lounge where I had originally been to wait for my follow up appointment. Absolutely no apology, no warmth- nothing. The whole team felt frosty towards me, clearly believing I had inconvenienced them on purpose. There had obviously been an admin mixup somewhere, which I would never complain about because we are all human, but what I massively reject to is being spoken to so rudely- especially when I have chosen to pay and be seen by people who I thought would provide such excellent care.I was already feeling anxious sitting waiting and this made me feel so upset. Not only was this interaction completely unprofessional in its manner, but it also showed a total lack in any understanding of how a patient might be feeling who is waiting for tests.I’m saddened to have to leave this review as I had told so many people how positive my first experience was. However I feel it’s important to feed this information back, as quite frankly I left feeling upset and disappointed.
John Cooper
John Cooper: Excellent facilities and staff j

Explorer
Explorer: The hospital staff are excellent. Always smiling and ready to help. Very friendly and approachable. The staff do not hesitate to work longer than their stipulated hours to help their patients and never have I heard them crib about the workload.Special thanks to the ward manager Rebecca who was very keen to keep the ward efficiently running, night S/N Sadie & Jane who were very kind & kept checking on patients, male senior S/N Jaco who runs a tight ship and takes good responsibility, bank S/N Titus (from Zimbabwe) who always works with a smile and is the most helpful nurse, HCA Patricia from Ireland who adds a very sensitive & humane touch to everything she does, the physiotherapist Jo Teesdale who has been the best, most helpful physio I have met so far, the ever smiling and helpful S/N Chanice. The Jamaican S/N Chernett with her infectious laugh and bubbly attitude lifting everyone's spirits & making sure she was on top of all ward tasks. A lot of Indian Keralite nurses esp. Josnie, Devu, Jilu who hold up great standards of nursing. The catering staff who work behind the scenes, the other support staff all make the hospital the best.I can say with great pride as a doctor that Ramsay healthcare should feel proud of Fitzwilliam hospital.
Alison Keen
Alison Keen: I had a TKR 22 March Mr Clifton was kind and explained the surgery both the pros and cons. I was an inpatient 3 1/2 days. All members of staff were professional kind and helpful. By all staff I include reception X-ray Pre op. The nursing was excellent, catering and the domestic team were helpful. Only one tiny blip was the first group physio, however I was allocated Mr Watson he listened and had a great treatment plan. Between Mr Clifton’s great skills and Mr Watson’s attention to details. I do recommend your team thank you.
Maggie Riley
Maggie Riley: I have nothing but praise from the admin staff, to nurses and Mr Ivan Vidacovich,(sorry if mis spelt). It was discovered I have cervical cord compression after an mri, he spoke very openly to me, clearly guiding through things. When admitted the nursing staff were fabulous putting me at ease, my surgery went really well. And thanks to my consultants expertise I am now back working as a community nurse and enjoying my work. Also to my physio with whom I always saw the same person for continuity of care, absolutely no complaints.Grateful I never ended up in a wheelchair. You have all showed and continues to show so much care.
ceiran young
ceiran young: not much waiting and fast diagnosis
Renata Lopataite
Renata Lopataite: Special thanks for Mr. Bhullar for operation, and looking after me. All hospital customer service are exceptional. Felt like home during the stay.
A W
A W: I would give zero stars if I could - the reception/ admin service is appalling, have been on hold for a very long time, when answered - no apology, the receptionist / admin staff Deana was quite rude and advised she can’t help ( to book an appointment ) as she is ‘ on a different screen and can’t access my record ! Very stressful, time consuming and unprofessional, will find another hospital even if it means I have to travel somewhere else.
Madeleine Turner
Madeleine Turner: They say they treat all patients the same wether private or nhs however it appears if you are in terrible pain and need an mri urgently unless you are private you will have to wait 12/14 weeks as against 2/3 weeks for private. Never has disparity between rich and poor been so huge , surely it should be based on clinical need and not if you have money or not after all they decided to offer services to nhs patients and are paid by nhs just the same as if someone paid privately but with probably a huge discount so should offer same service to all based on clinical need, disgusting how they treat nhs patients, like second class citizens and should be ashamed of themselves. Will be reporting them for discrimination to relevant authorities.
jenny stone
jenny stone: I was admitted for an overnight stay on Thursday 16th June for spinal surgery. The staff were so friendly and professional and made me feel so at ease but my blood pressure rose to such a high level that I thought I would not have the surgery. The nursing staff managed to regulate my blood pressure and off I went for my surgery. I can honestly say that all staff treated me so kindly and gave me clear instructions on my release as to how to look after myself during the healing of the wound. I would like to thank all the staff for making my stay a very pleasant one.
