Jade Said: I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Dan, and I can honestly say that my experience was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, Dan was professional, courteous, down to earth and incredibly talented.First and foremost, the quality of Dan’s work is truly exceptional. Each photo is beautifully composed, with stunning colours and lighting. I was looking for something more of a cuddly and a natural family photoshoot and Dan was able to deliver exactly what I was looking for.We discussed over a quick zoom call exactly what we were looking for and Dan recommended local locations that fit the bill. My son is someone who's not particularly comfortable in front of the camera, and was a little nervous going into the session. But Dan was so friendly that he quickly forgot about nerves and cracked a smile. Mike Lakeland: From the moment my wife and I first met Dan he made us feel completely at ease. Neither of us are keen photography subjects, and we were accordingly anxious when we first ventured on a family photoshoot, a gift courtesy of my brother, with our two boys in tow. It took a maximum of 5 minutes for Dan to have them giggling like mad, and start capturing some fantastic photographs.Dan has an incredible ability to shift focus away from the laborious act of taking one photo after another, and effortlessy makes everyone feel comfortable with jokes, impressions, and good chat! Therefore it's probably no surprise that we immediately thought of Dan to be our wedding photographer after we got engaged. I think we almost booked him before we even chose our venue!The entire process was straightforward and flexible, with various different packages to choose from. Dan takes time to discuss your photo preferences and get to know you, and also to know about your wedding plans. He uses all of this to create a bespoke mood board that he can refer back to throughout the day to ensure he captures the shots you really wanted. If all of that doesn't sell it, then to top things off he brings bottle of prosecco to spray during the group photographs. I felt like Lewis Hamilton in Monaco, even if it was only for 5 seconds...I think the photos speak for themselves, so I've attached a few to this post. The wedding album is equally stunning, with an incredibly high quality finish, which completely befits the importance of the occasion. So many of our guests commented on both the standard of the photos and Dan's personality, which they were highly impressed by.All in all, if you're looking for a photographer who is easy to work with, fun, dedicated, and most of all TALENTED, then you should look no further. I'm so glad that we chose Dan to be our wedding photographer.

Amy Munns: If you’re looking for a wedding photographer then Dan is your man! (Get ready for the longest review haha)! From the initial meeting with Dan we knew he was the photographer for us; he was really laidback and bonus made us laugh and had a good sense of humour, which is definitely something we wanted in a photographer… One of the questions Dan put to us during this first meeting was; ‘what three words would you use to describe your wedding?’ … So here are three words to describe Dan; Professional, organised, funny! We had two meetings prior to the wedding with Dan - the initial and then the second was had two months before our wedding day, where we discussed the wedding itself in more detail, as well as the kinds of photos we would like throughout the day. Dan also asked a question which we both quite loved too: ‘Other than yourselves who is/are the most important person/people coming to your wedding’ which I thought was such a special question! When discussing the kind of photos we would like we said; a couple of the classic - ‘line up with the family photos’ but not too many of those - as we wanted more of the fun and quirky photos; the beautiful romantic photos and just loads of candid shots of the day as they’re always the best to see sometimes! And Dan did not disappoint - the photos he captured were so beautiful!!! I think I probably cried at most of them when we received them (Even cried at a picture of a beer drum - because I hadn’t had the chance to see it during the day) - it really was great to look at these gorgeous photos he took and to see some of the amazing moments from our wedding day that we maybe never got to witness, as well as also being reminded of the most beautiful day we both had!!! The day and the venue were just captured so wonderfully by Dan; I can’t express how much I just love looking at the photos he took (I can’t stop looking through them and reliving every moment)! When taking the photos he is honestly the most chilled out person (which I think you definitely want and need in a photographer) and he makes you feel 100% relaxed whilst being photographed! He made a note of the kinds of photos we discussed during our meeting so the fun quirky photos were not missed! We honestly had a blast having Dan as our wedding photographer and we are both so glad that we found him! I’ve said it once, but I will say it again; if you’re looking for someone to make your day come to life in the photos then HE IS your man! Again thank you sooooo so much Dan! Jodie Newson: Olivia Rose Images was recommended to me multiple times when asking for recommendations for a newborn photographer.I chose to have the full newborn sessions and was not disappointed at all, Emma made me feel extremely at ease about the photo shoot and sent me lots of information beforehand and answered any questions I had.During the photo shoot I was abit apprehensive about how it was going to be as it was myself, my husband and our 2 daughters one 2 and one less then 2 weeks old. Emma was so patient with both of my daughters and had lots of techniques to keep the 2 year old engaged throughout the photo sessions.Our sessions took 2 and a half hours and time went so quick and myself and my husband felt very relaxed though out.We were given so many photos of choose from after our sessions and absolutely loved the images that Emma had produced for us.I would highly recommended Emma at Olivia Rose Images to anyone looking for a photographer

Lisa Clayton: I was recommended to approach Emma from Olivia Rose Images because I’d heard her newborn photos were amazing and good value. Emma’s website was very professional and showcased her work well making it an easy decision to contact her to enquire.We booked Olivia Rose Images for a newborn mini session.Before the session I was a little worried about our baby being slightly older (6 weeks) as people usually go when baby is 2-3 weeks old, but due to our baby being an early arrival and a longer stay in hospital we weren’t able to book this quicker.However, I did need to worry at all. Emma reassured me his age would still be great for the session and said she never turns away an older newborn. The photos came out amazing, there was a mixture of awake and sleepy looking photos. Emma got some brilliant shots of our baby posing for the camera! His personality is showing on the photos where he is alert!One thing that really exceeded my expectations was how at ease our baby boy was, he didn’t fuss at all which was something I thought would happen. Emma was brilliant with him and also made us feel completely at ease for the family shots.Overall I found the experience amazing, I definitely would love to do more photoshoots for our baby as he gets older. It was fun and a lovely memory for us to have.I would recommend Emma to people who are looking for a newborn photoshoot. Your gallery of images will be so good it’ll be hard to choose the ones you want!
katie Pinfold: We booked Olivia Rose Images for a family session for me, my partner and our 5 month old baby girl.I approached Emma from Olivia Rose Images because she was recommended to us when we were looking for a photographer.Before the session I was a little worried whether our little one would survive the session without wanting a feed or getting grizzly… the inevitable happened but Emma was so patient and waited for her to feed and fall asleep on me when we still had photos left to be taken.Me and my Partner were then gobsmacked at how Emma managed to re-settle her to back to sleep on the beanbag and posed her for some absolutely gorgeous, unexpected sleeping photos!! Our girl NEVER naps alone that easily at home so we have come to the conclusion that Emma is a secret baby whisperer!!Emma’s work is just perfect, it captures our bond as a family and has really managed to capture our little girls unique features. Sophie Ward: I used Olivia Rose Images for a family/ sitter sessionI approached Olivia Rose Images because Emma is very approachable and professional and also knows exactly what she is doing when it comes to capturing those precious photos of your family.Before the session I was a little worried about how the 2 children would take to session being under 2 years old and if we would have any of the awful “terrible 2s tantrums”. Emma didn’t push anything and just let the children lead the session. Beautiful props were provided that they could play with while being photographed. Emma also sang to the children to help make them smile to capture the perfect picture!The things I liked was the studio as it’s tucked away round the back of her house and is small but perfect for the photographs it meant the children had a space that wasn’t big and scary and they were never far from one of us at all times, I found this made them more relaxed. I also like that more recently Emma has started planting trees because you attended a sessions so you are also doing something eco friendly at the same time.I would recommend Emma to people who need someone with lots of patience and understands that the children need to led them session and a relaxed and happy child means lovely images!Thank you Emma for the lovely session and pictures, we will definitely be back! Emily Davies: I came across Olivia Rose Images on Facebook when I was looking for a family photographer. We wanted some chilled family photos in an outdoor location, to include me, my husband, our baby and dog!Emma was fantastic! Neither me or my husband love being in front of the camera, my dog doesn't sit still and my baby doesn't very often smile for strangers, but Emma did the most amazing job!!All the photos were really relaxed and just being us rather than being posed, and as such it didn't feel like we were sat having our photos taken! The dog was in and out of the photos, and Emma never worried or minded what he was doing! We just relaxed, had fun and got some gorgeous photos as a family!We were so thrilled with the results, we intend on having a Christmas photoshoot this year and an autumn photoshoot in 2022!!I have messaged Emma several times both before and after the photos and it never feels like I'm bothering her or asking silly questions, nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend!

I chose Olivia Rose Images after looking at several different local photographers and Emma’s style of work really stood out to me, she is a total natural with children and was so unbelievably patient with my daughter.. I know where I’ll be booking a newborn shoot for any future babies!

Laura Larham: We have used Emma at Olivia Rose images several times now and have never been disappointed .Most recently we booked a newborn photoshoot and included our older two boys in the session. I left worrying that there would be no group photos that i liked but yet again Emma had caught them perfectly and i ended up buying all of the photos taken on the day.We have even had location sessions that came out amazing. Totally different photos taken in autumn in a park. Results = AMAZING!!!I would have no issues recommending Olivia Rose Images to anyone looking for family photos. She has a way with children, is so kind and gentle and newborns are in safe hands with her.We will no doubt be booking in with Emma again in the future as the children grow.
sophie walters: I had a photoshoot for my little boy last year with Emma and would highly recommend and for his first birthday we will be having another shoot again!Emma made me feel very comfortable in her home and had a lovely studio set up in which she created some amazing photos, which I will forever be greatful for and are pride of place in mine and relatives houses. Emma also made me a lovely collage of photos which I asked for and when acessesing the photos from the shoot it was easy to do online, which meant I was able to take time when choosing which were my favourites before getting my prints delivered to my home.
