Paddy Travel in a box: This car park is a shambles...none of the meters were working...people complaining losing the plot because they couldn't get a ticket..This is a very common problem In this carpark...Get your act together P D C....Make it easier for people to come into the city on a Saturday night...to spend their money in the restaurants. ..Otherwise they will suffer and be gone....Make the parking free after 5pm if only at the weekends...Perhaps that's too difficult for you to understand. ..update.....noticed they changed the machines...about time too...Now you need to address the state of the streets..disgusting dirty smelly city.. Shame on PDC WHAT A MESS.

D Fielding: My wife parked here, machines not working so used app as per instruction. Thought it went through but failed to be processed. As a result fined £60. Don’t park here as false economy. Another fine example of corrupt use of ANPR thanks to greedy companies. No wonder people prefer to shop online instead of going into town to shop. Poor show ☹️

John Lamb: Parked here on 28th Nov 10am. After 2 nights in London returned at 2pm on 30th to find the passenger window smashed and car ransacked, spoke to some builders working nearby who told us when they came to work on Mon 29th a total of seven cars had been broken into all with broken windows. Do not leave your vehicle in this car park overnight.

Alan Fleming: Lots of deep potholes on the entrance/exit at the barrier - I nearly lost my bumper. The carpark isn't in a great condition, and people tend to avoid spaces where their car might be hit by another car avoiding a pothole. Pedestrian entrances are non existent, without jumping more potholes or large muddy puddles.Only park here if you absolutely have to.
Paul xr2 2.0: Paid got ticket and have proof.Only to get a fine for £100 .Have appealed but a disgraceful ripoff.Absolutely despicable company..Should be ashamed of themselves treating people like this.The car park is in dreadful state.Aviod this carpark at all costs.Never again.
Jon Clynch: Had the misfortune to attempt to park here on Sunday November 13 2022. We had been invited to a meal at 2020 World Buffet and this was the closest carpark. When we arrived I had my doubts: it was poorly lit, and I was alarmed by the state of the entrance as it was like driving through a ploughed field. The rest of the carpark was no better, with massive potholes everywhere. Anyway, I parked and went to the ticket machine where two individuals were trying to buy a ticket - without success. They pushed every conceivable button and presented a debit card, but they couldn't get it to work. Having seen their lack of success, I decided against staying there as I didn't want a fine. So, I took the car to Brook Street itself, where I discovered that parking is free after 5pm!We went to our meal and forgot all about it. A week later we had a notification from Parking Eye to say we were being fined £100 for not buying a ticket for the abysmal carpark! I appealed, stating that I was only there 7 minutes in total and explained the situation. Today they replied to say my appeal had failed and that I owed them £60 (rising to £100 if not paid in 14 days). This is absolutely outrageous and is extortion, plain and simple. A reputable company would allow a grace period of at least 10 minutes. I urge anyone in Peterborough to avoid this carpark at all costs and to deny these profiteering parasites any income.
VERNON HASLER: Do not park here rip off park by the one by the park the one on road has holes everywhere £6 the other one. Is £2 after 6pm my wife is disabled still had to pay £6 after 6pm

Ana Jardim: Be careful!!! Went in very quickly didn't pay parking because I wasn't staying (was a easy pick up point at night) thinking I'd have a grace period. A few weeks later got a £60 fine for having stopped there for 9 min.

Alan McIntyre: Came here and paid by phone as machines were not working. I had read reviews of people being fined after paying but thought if we have proof of payment, surely they can't. Anyway they did. I wrote to them informing them I had paid but would not be sending a bank statement and if I have to write again I was giving an advance warning of charging them £100 administration costs as their online appeal page conveniently doesn't work. I also reported them to the car park ombudsmen who did nothing. Do not park here.

Naomi Warren: Scam. Printed out a blank ticket. I got a fine through the post and supplied a bank statement to show I paid the amount, they declined my appeal and said I now owe the full amount (£100). How can they get away with this?!

Just received a fine in the post saying I didn't pay yet it printed me out a ticket! All other users had the same issue payment wise. Entrance to the car park grounds your vehicle so be carful if you have a small car.
budgiebruce: Hidden away, so doesn't get busy and right next to the park. Ideal for The New Theatre 5min walk away and quite a few spaces available. Machines available or use pay to park on your phone (can use as a guest without having to download app).

Stephanie Martinez: The machines don't work so you can't pay by cash. The signs instruct you to pay via the app - but when we tried this it wouldn't recognise the location code and thought we were outside the UK. The only other option is to pay via phone, but it's convoluted to call them up and set up an account. Not a great car park anyway - the location is good but the spots are poorly defined and there are potholes.

Under when charges should commence anywhere, appealed fine with at the very most ill begrudgingly pay £3, rejected now attempting court proceedings. I refuse to pay for having to navigate their mine field of pot holes to find a parking space to find their max parking is 12 hours to leave the car park to find somewhere else. Absolute joke.I would give 0 stars but it disables the post button
Alan Fleming: They've recently re-laid some of the tarmac, so it's no longer pot-hole central which is an improvement. Still quite dark at night with no lights in the car park though.

Tom Levitt: If you want your front bumper ripping off when you enter the car park then this is the place for you. You get greeted by 2 huge craters when you turn into the "car park". Once you've safely made it in, it's honestly like a scene from The Hurt Locker. One wrong turn and you're in a pothole that can only be described as the size of an IED blast. What an absolutely awful car park.

Lirin Cyriac: For a parking in the city centre, Brook Street parking was priced right. Low enough to attract people. It is Open parking but point to note that this wouldn't be classified as secure parking. It is conveniently located and within walking distance of the shops nearby. The tarmac isn't the best and is bumpy at a few places. Hence the 4 star review

I didn't see any signage.We've used this car park several times when staying at the nearby Travelodge, despite the parlous state of the parking areas, entrance and driving sections. We won't from now on. For some reason they have set a 12 hour limit on parking, so having arrived at 18:00 yesterday I would have had to get up before 06:00 to either move it or pay for another 12 hours, even though we were not intending to move the car until 10 (the only other option is 2 hours parking at half the price of 12).The last time we stayed here was also on a Friday night and this car park was pretty busy when we returned to the car in the morning. I've just walked by at about 09:00 and there were about 7 cars there.Presumably the owners couldn't care less so the potholes will continue to get worse and their return on investment will go down.

Sharon Sim: The Regional Pool Car Park on Bishop's Road offers gym members 3 hours of free parking (though a ticket and permit has to be displayed). Non members can park for up to 3 hours for £1, 4 hours for £3.30 and up to 7 hours for £5.50 - machine takes apple pay, cards and coins but have the right money as it does not give change. Charges only apply from 9am-4pm in the day. There is no charge, and no need for a parking ticket between the hours of 4pm-9pm.
