CJ's Birds of Prey: what do users think?
Christine Kelly: The lady giving demonstration very knowledgeable but be prepared for birds not cooperating. The birds on our day were in training so would hop from one place to your hand about six inches rather then flying any distance. Just one large bird to stand near for photo opportunity but other than that a bit of a wasted hour and half journey. Not what we expected at all
Martin Goodman: Appearing around the country with their majestic Birds of prey. Enthusiastic passionate and very informative.
Mark Chamberlain: A great insight into the world of these magnificent creatures, truly fascinating
Steve Plumb: Attended the 2 hour birds of prey experience which was amazing. Handlers were brilliant and loved passing on their extensive knowledge of all the birds, and their love for every bird was plain to see. If you want to go, book direct with the company rather than through companies like buyagift.
Anthony Elbourne: When there for a 2 hour owl experience, absolutely brilliant, thoroughly recommend😀
Diane Siracusa: Positive:ProfessionalismWhat a fantastic experience. My husband and I attended an event today. Charlotte and her colleague were incredibly knowledgeable and clearly cared for the birds deeply. We experienced three birds and it was run with the birds in mind, handled expertly and with care. Highly recommended.
Nicole Moore: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWhat an amazing experience! I absolutely adored watching the Harris Hawk fly, he was so stunning and worked beautifully with me even though I was a stranger! The team were really friendly and I learnt so much about birds of prey, they really know their stuff. Great birthday present, I would highly recommend!

Rutland Falconry and Owl Centre: what do users think?
Macy Minton: Absolutely brilliant don't have to say more can't wait to.go again in the summer
Simon Vessey: Great to see 100 birds so close up but ground was very muddy and waterlogged in places.Very basic but lots of beautiful birds
Daniel Jordan: Fantastic owl experience, very informative.Myself and my daughters loved it.
Lady Beverley Cresswell: Strange set up. Was ok, but walking on muddy tracks and it had rained. Spoke to the gent that owned the place and he was very interesting. Worth spending money on entrance fee for the birds upkeep. I would go back again.
Cheyanne Chuter: Lovely place to go see beautifull birds of prey from all over the globe the volunteer gentleman was lovely and explained everything very well and gave us some great recommendations to visit locally as we are not from here it was so nice to take a little walk around would recommend if Ur visiting the area.
Dave Perrin: Big cat day, amazing!
April Baker: Absolutely fabulous experience. A bucket list wish for my mum and She is still buzzing about it. Tom was brilliant with mum who is a little unstable on her feet, he made sure she was OK every step of the way and was really patient with her. Well worth a visit.
T Matt: Really good, Tom the guide was funny and very knowledgeable
andrew brackley: A very enjoyable half day looking a round the falconry centre and having a lovely experience
Fowl Photographer: Very lovely little place but bring wellies. Displays are great for photography.
Emma Jayne Taylor: Going to an open day to see the big cats and birds, this was a beautiful sight of love and care for innocent beauties.
Julie Ask: Had a lovely day staff great and knew their stuff being in a wood natural surroundings may it even better
David Horspool: Amazing experience, the staff were excellent and shared great knowledge on each bird. Definitely worth a vist :)
Eain: Very friendly and helpful staff, entry is cash only, quite a pleasant walk around, it's a bit creepy and 'the hills have eyes' type of place... Can't help but feel the birds are bored beyond belief...
Jan P: Sorry to say I felt a little sorry for the beautiful bird's and there was a wolf in a small cage by the entrance on its own when we all know there pack animals, also felt the place was a little run down. I wish I could have given it a better review but it was a 3 star experience
J B: Enjoyable visit, its always a shame to see animals kept in enclosures but many of these birds had various reasons for being in captivity. All the animals appeared well cared for and the handlers were very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. There's a nice wooded area for a walk and various displays you can participate in.Worth a visit.
louis goodman: Dreary and tired, enclosures for the birds are lackluster and rotting and the actual birds and roped to within a few feet of their perches and noticeably distressed with some trying to fly away. Many birds are foreign and obviously not suited to the environment and are separated from each other. Upon arrival no one in the reception and it was unclear where we were supposed to go. When we did find someone he seemed to handle the birds well but could benefit from a friendlier tone. I can't speak for any other employees working there but not somewhere I would like to return to.
Fiona Tait: Half day falconry and owl experience. I arrived an hour early for the experience at 10am and had a walk round the very well laid out bird area and the short walk to the edge of the woods. I could hear young kestrels in one of the super oaks and briefly saw the parent. Dashed back and met the falconer and his Dad Chris 😉. Learnt how to tie jessels. Got to choose my falcon, Dave, a beautiful 3 year old. We walked around the woods with Dave on the glove then he he flew to glove for chick bits. A repeat performance with Merlin the barn owl. The half day took me to near 4pm by the time I had another look at the birds. Very enjoyable informative day out. I would highly recommend calling on the off chance of a booking as it was a very worth while introduction to getting up close with these formidable predators.
Melissa Dooley: Just a magicalDay ! Something everyone should try experiencing, for all age groups… I took my dad there .. the distaff are amazing and full of humour .. they really knew there stuff! Tom is a cracking guy ! 5 stars from me and the pops x
Chieh Chan: Absolutely enjoyable experience, there are a big variety of owls and eagles in the centre to look at, and we get to handle an owl or a hawk each, walk it through the woodlands with them, stroke them a, then finally get to have them fly to you. Absolutely wonderful, fully recommend it
Deb Ackers: Fantastic morning in the woods with Owls....lovely walk...kind funny knowledgeable guide who encouraged and support those a little worried about handling thebirds.Fabulous well recommended! Keep up the great work you do.

T O'neill: Good knowledge of birds very rude when we turned up not very helpful....we booked no name down on sheet had to show text message for proof of booking. No apology for mistake...book Oxton next time.

Shanaz Mellahi: Simon made this a truly unforgettable experience. Loved the information about the birds and his sense of humour made it all the more interesting and engaging. Loved the birds. So great to see them up close. Hope to come again with more people!! Well done Simon and his assistant.
M Haseeb Butt: We were part of a group with 25 others so have to wait for your turn. There were 4 birds available on the day and we got to interact with 3 of them. Average time with bird was 20 to 30 seconds. Got to handle 3 birds as eagle was too big to handle! £10 charge for any spectators to come along.
Deborah Wells: Great morning, very enjoyable experience
Helen Myles: A truly brilliant experience amazing to be around and handle these birds. With a well informed instructer amazing
Simon D. Malka: In a couple of hours a group of us each flew a variety of owls and a hawk, enticing them with fresh chicken. An eagle can be viewed up close but not handled for safety. The instructors are informative and the scenery is stunning, with tree lined fields providing a colorful patchwork in spring over rolling hills.
