Rimsha attended London College of Fashion for her vocational training in garment making, the Royal School of Needlework for courses in ribbon work, and London Embroidery School for classes in goldwork.

Rimsha’s creativity and her fondness for fashion from an early age also helped her become an expert at various techniques within a short time. She has a command over womenswear pattern cutting, practical garment fitting, garment construction, professional sewing techniques, hand-sewing for couture, customized fitting, and bespoke fashion and bridal wear. She especially enjoys working on bridal wear. From bringing her clients’ imagination to life to customizing pre-owned bridal wear. Rimsha has worked on various bridal outfits in her career, her dedication to bridal dresses inspires her to open a bridal boutique in the near future.

Besides creating garments from scratch, she also provides services for repair and alterations. Her love for fashion was founded on timeless, classic pieces she saw her mother and other family members wear time and again. Though as a young professional she enjoyed working for fast fashion industry and various upcoming names, she has grown in love with slow fashion and loves all garments that carefully constructed to last and look good for years. Her love for timeless pieces allows her to create new garments with the same vision, i.e., to provide her clients with classic pieces they can wear and cherish for years.

Moreover she also creates art frames utilizing the historical methods of goldwork and ribbonwork for customized décor items.

In her spare time, Rimsha loves thrifting classic pieces and altering them to give them a new life, and also alters, repairs, and renews vintage pieces for her clients to give them a modern silhouette and make them wearable again.

Her belief in quality garments allows her to serve her clients efficiently, in addition provides her expert knowledge in garments to help her clients find the right finishing, detailing, stitching, and fitting for their garments and then brings their vision to life.

Such a great experience! We were looking to learn and experience something new and going here did not disappoint. We have now had two courses here and I cannot be happier. I highly recommend taking the Raku course, even though we did really love our time on the wheel and hand-building experiences too. Each are so unique and give a different outcome.

What a wonderful way to spend a day! It was impossible not become totally immersed in what I was doing. At the start Richard said it was a good way to dense stress and it truly was. Richard’s teaching was calm and patient, he was positive and encouraging. I like lots of craft activities and am definitely adding this to my list of crafts I like!
